BRS is leaving Little Rock, AR heading to Memphis, TN. Thats one of the roughest sections of interstate highway I have ever been on. Had a job once where I had to drive it about twice a week. Full of potholes and they never pick up the blown rubber off the trucks. Sides of the interstate is just littered with rubber.
BWE That is probably Lord Black Water. Their nest always looks so well kept - no loose twigs like ours which is such a lived-in-nest look - sorta like my house!
Good evening everyone! Got busy working in the yard and then grocery shopping and never got back today.
Darn!!! Missed my ride with BRS. Guess I will have to miss the lunch next week.
Company coming tomorrow, so I will not be on much if at all this weekend.
Jack has finished our fence. While working in the yard I saw where my tulips are beginning to show buds.
Jack just invited me outside with him...he is having a beer, I will have my gin less GT instead of a glass of wine. Guess I miss the wine more than good food. LOL
Been trying to get this crazy router working...no luck yet. Think I need some nourishment before trying anymore! MAybe a drink would help..LOL! Glo, I know a lady whose been dealing with that same situation for years and they have never found where she's losing blood from! She's in her 70's. They just transfuse her every couple of months...go figure!
I have an update on the San Jose Peregrine Falcons. Clara is back, but sadly Carlos is MIA. There is a new male this year who just showed himself the last couple of days. He has been named Esteban Colbert, after Steven Colbert. Some people on the site are not happy. Maybe they don't realize he is a big bird person.
THE Iraqi journalist who became an icon for critics of the US-led invasion when he hurled his shoes at former President George W. Bush went on trial today, facing up to 15 years in prison.
Margy, 10 swans were spotted an hour south of Yankton today. A mixture of trumpeters and tundra. Mary and I are going to see if they will stay there for us in the morning.
Former First Cat Socks, one of the world’s most famous felines, died Friday at the age of 20 after battling throat cancer since November. A stray cat rescued by the Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, Socks lived in the governor’s mansion in Arkansas and later moved with the family to the White House. RIP, SOCKS.
Yah - still one in view, dark view on the branch... that was really pretty, watching them, if she had poop shooted it would have gotten us in the eyeballs for sure ! ☺
Can't tell if eggs are still there... From past experiences I don't think the birds remove them - like the egg left in the Osprey nest on Wild Watch and also the eagle egg at Puget Sound nest. I'm not sure what happened to the unhatched eggs in our nest after the snow blizzard in March.
Mits, guess you've found that Flashpoint is a repeat...boo. I've given up on the wireless router for tonight....so no laptop connectivity yet....more boo! Don't know why everything has to be so darn difficult.
GOOD EVENING... Back from Crab Leg Night with GeeGee. She was much better today and seeing Denise (her first grandchild) made her eyes sparkle. She has seen no one this week but me and Gene. She ate like a 16 year old boy:) She carried home a piece of apple turnover in her purse, to eat with her coffee in the morning. We did, indeed, tuck her into her bed...turned the lights out and came home. She seemed to be full and happy:)
I talked to her this morning and forgot to ask, Jo. I am still waiting for a picture she has from when we went to Alaska 4 years ago. She is hopeless. I will see if my younger sister has one yet.
Sharon seems to have had a good day - if only happy to be home and starting this treatment.. Machine was delivered & home health was there & got her started.
Norma back blogging big time! Ho! That has made us all happy !
And now that I know Gee Gee is also a happy camper - I'll be able to rest easy tonight.
Only have to get the wireless router fixed on Hedgie's lap top!!
Wanda, glad to hear that GeeGee is doing better. Mmmmmm...crab legs! And glad to hear that Sharon is started on her new treatment. Hope it works FAST! Goodnight to all turning in. I won't be far behind....frustration makes me tired! Oh well, tomorrow is another day---and my name ain't Scarlett!! Prayers for all. Talk to you tomorrow!
Capt. Gene is frustrated this morning...furnace is not working and for the first time in our married life, he had to call a repairman. He use to repair furnaces, but he is not schooled in these new electronic furnaces:(

Hey JO- they are throwing your beads at the MARdi GRAS PARADE CAM
I have an update on the San Jose Peregrine Falcons. Clara is back, but sadly Carlos is MIA. There is a new male this year who just showed himself the last couple of days. He has been named Esteban Colbert, after Steven Colbert. Some people on the site are not happy. Maybe they don't realize he is a big bird person.
WHoo Hoo! I best grab my 4 pairs of purple beads before I look for more.
Thanks Megan
Thanks Deb for info... I have not gotten through all my cam checks yet!
Mainly incubating eagles or MT nest so far.
I am going for the beads
Well I'm out of here. Mrs. Red is on her way home and we're going Mexican for dinner.
Have a good evening everyone. ♥♥♥
Wish that NO cam had sound, I'm missing all the bands...
I get the e-mails from their site, that is I keep up on San Jose.
Megan, I didn't know your site had commentary at first. I about jumped out of my chair when they started talking.
I hear them, Megan!
The new Orleans site? I have no sound
Here comes a float- better get ready to catch some beads, Jo.
Cool! Neat cam. Wear the beads Jo, don't throw them!
High Stepping marchers
Don't see Happy Faces.....
Put up earth cam - New Orleans
Watching the crowds on the
Bourbon Street Beat
2 eagles at PH...4th fish delivery for K26 today!
Float #5 the Birth of Dionisis. Probably spelled that wrong.
Float #6 is The second birth of dionysis.
Float # 7 is The Infant with Hermes.
my Mardi Gras has sound...I also watch earthcam.com Bourban Street.
Do you know why the parade has stopped?
I like the beads that young man has right down there.
They haven't said, they are interviewing people in the crowd to fill time.
WOW! Look at all those beads
Full screen on parade - just double click
People will show you their shoes, they say the best way to get shoes is to hold up a sign that says Booze for Shoes!
Did you all catch any??????
Wish I could hear that
Eagle Band
Throw shoes, not show shoes!
lol....some of the eagle band look lost, just climbed the fence and are running down the street
I know of a guy who threw his shoes
(at the Pres) He's going to be spending
time I think!
I thought he got off...?
The commentator got 9 pairs of high heels last night.
God help us, this is the youth of America:)
Wow is it Mardi Gras time already...
The shoe thrower's trial just started a couple of days ago.
Up date on shoe thrower:
THE Iraqi journalist who became an icon for critics of the US-led invasion when he hurled his shoes at former President George W. Bush went on trial today, facing up to 15 years in prison.
I googled it.
yes Paula, these parades last for a couple of weeks, last one on Tuesday, Ash Wednesday on the 25th
I'm surprised they are punishing him.
Bourbon Street is getting crowded.
Got notice of next month's Allegheny Power bill - seems to be increasing monthly by at least $10. I am wondering when it will hit the limit? on boy!
Yeah Mits - Did they ever think he was just practicing for Mardi Gras activities? lol
Raccoons in the woods early tonight
Looks to be snowing more at the Snowman
Burrowing owl was outside today
On their website, Allegehny has a long explanation of why they need more money from their customers....
But you know that doesn't help your pocketbook...
I think I would enjoy a hot tub soaking without bubbles..... Maybe I will even thank Allegheny for the Hot Water!
BBL
Belle seems to be stirring, looking around
Good Friday Evening Eagle People ☺
Starr Ranch Barn Owl
New Link
Big Fat Owl at Valmont and a Mess o'Raccoons at Pix
Hi Margy
Just checking out some cams - almost
ready to head in for a Tub Soaking!
Hope your day was well spent!
Norma was on & looking for you while you were at work! She sounded great & it perked everyone up that she was here.
Margy, 10 swans were spotted an hour south of Yankton today. A mixture of trumpeters and tundra. Mary and I are going to see if they will stay there for us in the morning.
Our eagle is up.
RIP, SOCKS.
Oops, the call of nature got Belle up. I haven't seen a poop shoot in a long time, much less a slow motion one. I should have been taping that!
BACK DOWN...going to fix myself a chicken pot pie and watch Flashpoint...BBL
Just saw a Beautiful Egg Roll
in our nest...... I am so
thankful for our great weather so far!
is that what she did...
Lucky cat to be rescued and live such a long life.
I shoulda stayed glued to the view at OUR NEST but was answering an important family email...and missed the egg roll and the Poop Shoot...
Jo : was delighed to ready Norma's posts! She came back ready and rarin' to go, sorry I missed it all!
Deb: I surely hope you see those swans! My friend in NY reports that some seem to be returning. I am still listening for them at night...
Jo and All
Eagle at LW - look quick I don't think it is going to stay long.
Wow - now Two !
Thanks Margy
I have not seen them for quite a while
So glad to see both!!!
Very nice DEEP egg well at LW
I have missed them, too!
I doubt that he flew very far
They have so many convenient limbs on which to perch
Yah - still one in view, dark view on the branch...
that was really pretty, watching them, if she had poop shooted it would have gotten us in the eyeballs for sure ! ☺
Lady Valmont is in the 'nest box'
Can't tell if eggs are still there...
From past experiences I don't think the birds remove them - like the egg left in the Osprey nest on Wild Watch and also the eagle egg at Puget Sound nest. I'm not sure what happened to the unhatched eggs in our nest after the snow blizzard in March.
LW is a perfect cam to keep open, does not give me any problems with my computer !
Belle is still getting settled in, maybe I will those eggs yet !
I was watching ValMont when I first signed on, the Owl was practically face first into the camera, SO HUGE LOOKING, then flew off, eggs still there...
I was hoping for some hanky panky at LW...sigh, no go....
Just saw the Owl eggs again, and maybe still in view now JO
I hope GeeGee is headed home now & getting tucked into bed by her lovely daughter!
Checking weather for tomorrow and praying for a beautiful sunset as the
wedding is at 5:00 for my niece!
Saw them Margy - thanks
Just saw four raccoons at the carcass site....
LW eagle still on the branch, very hard to see, can see its glowing eyes once in awhile.
Have a nice time at the wedding, I probably won't be on until later in the day.
I think I see snow in CO.
Taking an hour break
BBL
Well, I must be seeing things, nothing now.
DEB WHENEVER IS YOUR SISTER GOING TO
SEND YOU SOME OF LAST MONTH'S FAMILY
WEDDING PICS FOR YOU TO SHARE WITH US?
I didn't leave yet!! ho!
I see the one egg behind Lady Valmont
If she does start a new clutch of 2
I guess we'll never know which 2 are the new ones until they would hatch!!
Mits, guess you've found that Flashpoint is a repeat...boo.
I've given up on the wireless router for tonight....so no laptop connectivity yet....more boo!
Don't know why everything has to be so darn difficult.
Sharon...Sissy....update please!!! How is our gal doing?
Valmont's backside is right into the camera !
One glowing eye eagle still on the branch at LW
If Valmont turns around and faces the camera it is going to be Awesome, and Spooky !
Best Weather Wishes for Saturday and the Wedding, Mema
I talked to her this morning and forgot to ask, Jo. I am still waiting for a picture she has from when we went to Alaska 4 years ago. She is hopeless. I will see if my younger sister has one yet.
Lynn, it is getting to be that time of the year, when they show many re-runs. BOOO!

Who's attending a wedding tomorrow?
I am tired, too, for some reason. Early morning tomorrow, so I will say goodnight, too.
