GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING TO ALL EAGLE MOMSTERS AND DADSTERS THAT WILL BE ON HERE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY!! Can you believe that we have a brand new blog to chat away on today. Steve was good to us by changing it over early.
I want to wish each and everyone of you a very special viewing and chatting day today as I head off to school.
All is quiet at our nest. Belle is just looking around to se what kind of day it is going to be I guess. Now she is up and turning eggs. Probably getting a good stretch from the long night too. Can't see the eggs as her body is in the way, but she is doing a lot of fussing and now a wiggle wiggle and looks as if she is settling down again.

OK. Somebody is in trouble. I was coughing a bit yesterday but this morning I have a terribly sore throat and coughing up yucky stuff. Now who gave it to me? Fess up! lol

Prayers for all in the midwest this morning, tornadoes everywhere out there. We are supposed to have some high winds here today and tomorrow. It has been so beautiful for the past few days, hard to complain about the weather, but I will find a way I am sure. I have been able to go to the park and walk instead of on a treadmill and it has been wonderful.

I know he is getting older, but he still has some cub in him, even in his little voice....we have our training meeting for the upcoming pregnancy watch on Feb, 25....they are estimating the 24/7 watch to begin around the middle of April:)...keep you paws crossed

Yes, BRS is gonna be in Alabama today or tomorrow. But he's missing the pretty part. Northern Alabama is much more beautiful than the Southern part. We have hills and mountains up here.

the newer Maine nest is supposed to have 15 second updates, but it is more like 15 minutes
for some reason, can't get into the original Maine nest in the a.m.

Good morning all! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Just saw where NBG has an egg! I will go back on the blog to read about it! Wahoo!!!! And, would someone put a blue thingy on for NBG. I am at Laurel's. Joseph is still sick. I am taking him to the doctor later on this morning. It is the usual....fever, ache, sore throat, and cough. YUK! Washing my hands and refraining from kissing the poor little guy. However, he is overdosing on movies....! Ha! He will survive.
An egg, an egg, an egg! That is just wonderful. Yea! For NBG! Now how about Caltrans....have they had another? Boy, you miss a lot in one day!
I see where panda web cam #2 is off line at NZ, they have been working on the cams the last week, so hope it comes back on soon

Well, yesterday was an eggy day and I missed it. It is what it is!
Boy, did we have the storms last night. It didn't last long but it was violent when it went through. Laurel and I stood at her back windows facing west watching the sky. Good view when there was lightening. Had hail and lots of it, but thankfully it was pea size. Tornadoes and straightline winds were everywhere. The sirens did not go off here...it was just a little south of her house and north of mine. Jack said we did not get hail, but heavy rain. He sat on the patio watching it.

My sister told me the other day that she found two rats in her bird feeder!!!Yuk! Traps are going out in her courtyard and the feeder is coming down.

had that problem once Lolly, guy cam to set the trap, and told me, you know some people are against this, the killing of an animal, told him it was a filthy rodent...set the trap...!
I am gonna put a sign on my bird feeders, BIRDS ONLY, NO VARMITS ALLOWED!!!

Oh, that is right. Poor OK eagles. When you see the weather on OK that is pretty much what we are getting. I need to check out the milege difference. Maybe even go search for the nest. Probably be an excellent day trip!

that is what the guy in Michigan does, the cam I watch....puts out a sign to tell the varmints he feeds at night to stay off the deck...I'll send you the link, he even puts a menu sign of what he feeds them at night....sometimes it includes a can of beer???? Not sure why, it has to freeze up there

It is possible with some of the eagle egg laying. If they just went 35 days Sharon (since I got her Month right now for her birthday) Sharon could get a hatching birthday present.

They said there were red tailed hawks in the area, I wonder if that is what is up.
On my trip to Charlottesville and back the other day, I saw at least 10 red tail hawks sitting in trees on the side of the road.

It has been beautiful here for the past couple of days. All that wind is coming in today, though. Supposed to have 60 mph winds today and tomorrow.

Me too Deb. I've never had a sore throat come on this fast. Yesterday morning I was fine. As the day went on I got a tickle and began coughing.
BTW, BRS is in South Alabama now. Where I am is prettier with the mountains. Notice the lack of traffic. Roads are not congested down here. I love it.

Hubby and me love counting hawks as we travel. Groundhogs too when they start coming out.
The skunk population around here should be down. Saw 12 dead ones last weekend on a short ride on the back roads. About the time the smell quieted down in the truck we would run across another one.
We just had another egg roll in our nest. Wind is whipping the tree around in NBG.

Fuji lists at 299.95....got it from Broadway Photo for 200 plus appreciation package of memory card, rechargeable batts w/ charger, tripod, viewer protector plus 1 yr. ext. warranty for 116more...free S&H. Sound good?

Checked out ok except sugar (from the prednisone treatment) is up a little but
he will keep checking it and doesn't at this time see any need for any diabetic medication. We laughed as he told me what NOT to eat - I said OK I can eat fruits and green leafy veggies! He said 'Yes you only eat lettuce the rest of your life' ! I love my Doc!
Deb, they said it would ship w/in 24 hrs., so guess probably the first of the week. Can't wait--wish I had it for tomorrows' outing!

I am oing over the Sierras on 80 and to Winnamucca Nv.Then north To Boise to see my youngest. I have to go at a drop of a hat because of winter storms. I have to clear 8000 feet at the top without a bad storm. As soon as I get to Reno I should be ok.
The neat thing about this little trip is Master Brandon is going with and he doesnt know where we are going. I told he was was a photography shoot.
he got a dig camera for Christmas and he is my shooting buddy.
