Is my math off on the Hummer chick's fledging?? It looks like it will be another day or two perhaps before it flies the nest, but when I count from 1/16, I get 30 days.
They usually fledge around 21-23 days, I believe......

FYI - If you have the still cam on pop up, try closing it and see if you get the live feed any better. Sometimes it seems to help.

Good Sunday afternoon everyone! It is 69, we have the house open and I am listening to my windchimes. Have a lot....I love them! Played hooky from church, have had a headache and slight upset tummy. Can't catch bugs over the blog, right?
Had fun at Zach's party yesterday. It was a riot. I will have to post pictures. Will let you know when I get to it. Quiet a party for a three year old!(not sure I approve, just NOT my style)
It was at a very nice upscale bowling ally. We had six special lanes for kids. The lanes have bumpers so the balls go down the lane. Also ramps to roll the light weight balls on. Elvis was a HUGE hit! Like I said, I will let you know when I post pictures.
Stuck with my diet. One sip of wine and one bite of cake. Drank lots of water. Took my own food to the house to have after the party.
Home today and all week. Well maybe babysitting again Tuesday.

Laughed about the corn cob! A few years ago Bill brought in a truckload of corn-on-the-cob for the deer....squirrels ended up depositing empty cobs up in trees and bushes, all over driveway...I said never again!!

out of all the states I have watched him go thru, this is the worse, constantly freezing and dropping off. Must have terrible reception, on the road he is on

Lolly, know what you mean about the birthday party stuff....I always felt that little one's days should be celebrated quietly at home w/ close family....they aren't going to remember it, and it's an unnecessary expense to do these fancy things!

That Pix cam will play with one's mind! It surely does some kind of a rewind, one moment nothing on the screen, then sometimes you can see what you already saw! There must be a David Copperfield involved with that cam !

There was a mouse in the nest box today, you could see its tail.
I don't care much for the wispy thing that must be part of Boris's empire at our nest, but it does let you know when the cam is frozen!
