Hi, I'm getting ready to shut this operation down... It's coolish in So Cal and has been raining gently for 3-4 hours, which is not forecast on the Weather Channel. They were saying it would rain this morning, but they removed that prediction this morning....

Have a great weekend. It's the first one of a great New Year.

***GOOD NIGHT***

Good Evening Everybody. Almost time to say Nighty-nite!
Been doing email and working on pictures. Today's are not great, but it's the beginning of a new eagle year. Will probably post in AM.

Wanda, I always liked her....of course, she was just a teen back then! Have watched ATWT since childhood, and Y&R since it began!!
G'night, Jim! I imagine the rains are okay with you all if it prevents the fires!!

magpie said...

Good Night Jim, good to see your Bright Blue posts...
and you're always full of information!

Sounds like a pretty nice day, quiet and peaceful and full of wonder in the outdoors and at the cams (except for ours...but I'm sure that will get taken care of...)

Saw the three planets and the Moon tonight...Everything is moving farther and farther away from each other.

And I do plan to get up in the morning to look for ISS !

Good to "see" folks, but sure miss the ones we haven't seen today. :(
Thinking of them, all the same.

Glad you got an M&M Fix, MITS...☺ ☺

Thanks, Jo, for checking in....know you are probably too slam wore out to read us talking about you and encouraging you on...and missing you. Prayers for YOU being said too, dear one.

Hedgie, I got Christmas packages mailed to siblings! and then went up to visit James. I am not due back to work until Monday morning, but this week-end is still fragile....hoping to make Mass at Saint Bernadette's in Hedgesville in the morning, then have a few belated Christmas visits to make...☺ Nothing like being right on time with things, huh? Good to see you ! xo ♥

Blogger ate my post!

Just got back from dinner w/ brothers, SIL and neices and nephews to exchange presents. Had nice Chinese food dinner. Mom was pretty tired, so I didn't do her presents tonight...will do later in the week when she is up to it.

Sure hope Ceil, hubby and MM have a better trip home than they did going out.

My dear Megan, I just got around to the Utube video you sent us for our anniversary. It made me cry, because it was as if he was singing about us, personally.
I have posted a photo of our wedding day, 50 years ago, on Wanda's Wishes. Remember the prom gown? Well this is it with a jacket made by GeeGee:)

Good evening! Have not been on all day. We went to Denton tonight to Laurel's. She had a college friend visiting with her baby who we had not seen. It was fun. Got my baby fix as well as grandson fix.

Wanda, glad you are feeling so much better. Now to get Jo well.

We are having unusually warm weather. It got to 80 today. Do not like that, but it is supposed to turn cooler tonight. Low tomorrow of 28 and high of 48. That will be much better.

Guess I better start taking Christmas decor down. Have been sufficiently lazy this week. LOL

Quiet day all around...not a bad thing! Hope you feel better tomorrow, Jo.

Jim, glad you are getting some much needed precip.

Lolly said...

Paula. like your snowman. Guess I need to change mine.

magpie said...

Great photo, Wanda...what church were you standing in front of? Kind of looks like something in Shepherdstown to me...

I thought, too, after watching the Alan Jackson video that Megan sent...that the beauty and love in it sure seemed to be what you and Gene are all about...

xoxo ♥

magpie said...

Paula, great! Christmas is alive and well in your family...late celebrations can be so much fun...will be happy to hear about when your Mom gets to have hers!

magpie said...

Hi Lolly ☺

Lolly said...

Wanda. love your wedding picture. We are at 43 1/2 years. Got just a few to get to 50.

Costume Lady said...

Margy, that is the Church of the Brethren on Moler Ave. Same one we attend now. Built in 1939-40.

magpie said...

I won't be able to jump and down at the Martinsburg Train Station if they come through on the 6th as Ceil had said they probably would....I will be working ! :(

Lolly said...

Hi Margy! How goes everythihg?

magpie said...

I have always thought that is a beautiful church, Wanda...need to get inside it sometime! God Bless You Two, as He already has for 50+ years...

xoxox ♥

Oh, Lolly, pretty much same old same old, insomnia sometimes, which will lead to insanity if I don't get a handle on it! Am switching to dayshift next week for two months...then will work 6 AM to 6 PM - will miss a lot of the Eagle Action at OUR Nest on the days I am working....:(

But I am happy for everyday's miracles, and sometimes it comes in the words of my young grandson...☺

Costume Lady said...

Tried to find one of our 40th Anniversary for comparison. Can't remember which album or where??:):)

Lolly, my daughter said she doesn't have any friends whose parents are still married. 40-50 years...we must be an oddity!;)

Lolly said...

Wanda, have you decided on a laptop or a camera? I am loving the laptop. I am on it right now, sitting here in my comfy chair. :)

magpie said...

Lolly - working nights, the long shifts, I sometimes get too much caffeine coursing through my system...I think I can start working on correcting that, I just have to switch to more water, so that multiple trips to the Ladies Rooms keeps me active and alert! ☺

magpie said...

On that note, there is always a slight chance I might get called in to work in the morning, so I guess I will batten down the hatches and say Good Night and Sayonara to all...

Peace, Love and Prayers...xoxo ♥

Aren't grandsons the greatest! Jacob, 4, got up after being put to bed. Had to go to the potty. I went upstairs to take care of him. (Wiping a cute little bottom) I picked up his pajama bottoms from the floor. "Grandmommy," he said, "I put them there for a reason. Put them back where there were."

Lolly said...

Night Margy!

Lolly, Gene and I went shopping today and looked at a gazillion cameras and lap tops. I have chosen a Nikon something, something with 20 zoom something. And, on the other hand, I found the cutest little red lap top Acer or something like that, with a web cam. Don't know...which it will be!

Costume Lady said...

Was Jacob's underwear wet, Lolly? They are sooo cute at that age. My Karla use to go behind the door and wet herself and then blame it on her sister:) She was 2.

Costume Lady said...

Look at the time!
Glad Jo was able to check in with us. Hope tomorrow is a better day for her.

GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL

paula eagleholic said...

Sounds like a great camera, Wanda.

Have a good night, all.

Hugs to all.

hedgie said...

Goodnight to all turning in. I won't be far behind.
Loved your wedding pic, Wanda and Gene!! A lovely couple then and now.
Jo, please get to feeling GOOD soon...we do miss you. Was going to call you today, but afraid that you were sleeping, plus I know how talking can aggravate a cough.
Margy, hope you don't get called in to work in the morning. Is the construction at St. B's finished?
Spreading Christmas out works, girlfriend!!
Paula, glad you had a good visit with your family. Know that your mom will enjoy "her" Christmas more as she gets more strength.
Lolly, if you don't want the 80° days, please send them here!!
Prayers for all, and peaceful slumber. See you tomorrow.

Good Sunday Morning...
Sea Eagles are at the Finey's nest -
Sure looks Cold there.

magpie said...

Now they are gone...the Sea Eagles, for now...time to go check out ISS...

magpie said...

ISS was right on schedule, and nearly as bright as Venus...only problem is that it got gobbled up by clouds on the second half of its transit....every 92 minutes it orbits the earth, that's pretty zippy.

magpie said...

Couple of deer at Pix PA...
no racoons overnight the last few...must be waiting for Jo to feel better so she can watch them too !

magpie said...

Two squawking Eagles at BWO, will see what the next refresh brings!

magpie said...

Headed out to church soon, see you folks later on.
