Thanks, Steve:) And thanks, Rob. The cam is having some technical issues this morning, maybe cause it's so cold... Only 18 here now, very cold morning. I'm headed to the bus stop and then back to bed for a couple of hours. ALready been to DC and back this morning, left at 3:30 am to head down to the wholesaler, leaving that early is the only way to beat the traffic. LAter-
Good morning all. New cam is very exciting although I only caught a few glimpses of it yesterday as I had to work last night. Hoping to enjoy it today once it is back up and running again.
I thought we might be able to see our eagles if they came into the nest, even though the cam needs some adjustments...but realize now that it is also, FROZEN...Spidey's web is still visable and the sun is shinging here.
Now, I wonder what they had to do to make the cam work again? If they would teach me, I could run right down the road and do it myself. lollololollol!!!!
OH, WOW! I just was able to move the nest all around. This will let us see Lib's feetsies when he is on the edge of the nest!!! This is an early Christmas present for ALL of us!!
Some feeders are empty need filled. I just saw some deer and they have a table out with tons of bird feed on it. All kinds of birds. Cams keep switching so stay there awhile and it will get to the table full of seed!!
Thanks, Steve:) I think the main thing is, Wanda, the reset button is at NCTC not out in Denver, so if the live feed has a problem, they can fix it here instead of waiting for someone else to fix it.
Good morning, everyone. It is a beautiful, sunny 43 here this morning, headed to 52. I will enjoy it while it is here, tomorrow back to November temps.
Good morning everyone. Good to see the live cam is back to a good picture.
Jim, you were asking about deets here. Yes we have them but they are small. I get some in my yard occasionally. Most I have seen at one time was 7. Usually one or two though. Here is one walking by
Megan - There are still a lot of cars on 270 at that time of the morning...I was surprised when I had to go down to the hospital this last time w/ Mom how many cars there were already...but still much better than later in the morning.
I keep forgetting to tell you all; we gave our minister a trip on the Eagle Train ride for Pastor Appreciation Month. (Same one you all take) He saw many eagles and took many photos (he is very involved with taking photos and showing them to the congregation). He said, the man in charge of the train excursions saw one particular photo that he took and wants to have it on the next Brocheur they put out to advertise the train ride. He hasn't shown it to us yet, but I will pass it along when he does. He was also given a free pass to take another ride whenever he wants. COOL!
Yes Magpie Dex and I now go to work at the shelter together. He puts a hsine in a lot more folks eyes than I do; especially the younger ones but some of the moms too and dex just soaks it all up.
He has even been invited to Christmas with Santa party where he can see Santa dn enjoy seeing some of his favorite little ones again. It will be so cool!!!
WHEN YOU COME BACK ON, MARGY... When I lived in Pennsylvania, we said You'uns instead of youall. I was a Freshman in High School at the time when we moved here and was really kidded about saying YOU'UNS....so it didn't take me long to remember to say "youall".

Oh this is cute: Day Care Center out back, kids all bundled up, look like little stuffed sausages...I love that squealy little sound they make when they play....got my own Kiddie Cam....
"I seen that" - is common here, Red...don't let me get started...
Capt. Gene just called me and said he saw and EAGLE fly past the vehicle and land in a tree. Couldn't get the camera out quickly enough. He has it out now and will be looking for more. He also said, there is snow on the sides of the road, but the road itself is clear.
That is a sweet sight, Margy. When I worked at the bank, there was a Day Car Center in the nearby church, and I loved to watch them taking their morning walk. They would join hands and walk single file up the sidewalk and looks like a parade of ants. :)
I am off to SF to do a little shopping. I want to find a dress for my niece's wedding before everything gets picked over and stores become madhouses. I am not a dress person and have been dragging my feet, so today is hopefully the day.
I forgot to tell you that Gene sighted the eagle just outside of Moorefield. CAROL...IF YOU ARE READING THIS...LOOK TOWARDS SENECA ROCKS SOON. GENE IS GONG TO WAVE AT YOU AS HE GOES BY. ;)
Good morning! WOW! Was so surprised this morning with the new, up and running cam. Does it have sound? I have not heard anything.

Megan.....right now, I have having technical problems with my e-mails and out-look express...so not a happy camper right now...just trying to find some time today to call verizon and see what I did wrong....Ceil works on Wednesdays:)
Ugh.. the dreaded customer service phone call.. better pack a lunch, it could last a while...ha ha.... Did Norma ever get the sound to work on her computer??
Oboy, some more people back on. Megan - hope it was a real "power nap" - I bet your body (and your mind) has a very hard time slowing down! ♥
My house is as clean as its gonna get and the "Boss" said I can take a break now...time to eat, then try to make myself look Not Old... Grandson has a way of introducing me like this: - "This is my Grammy, she might be old but she's Mine.." I don't mind whatever he says, as long as I can Hear It !
I'm wondering if Norma's computer is working, since it went kaplooie over the week-end, cable that is..
Yep! He is intelligent. Never, I say NEVER play trivial pursuit with him. Nope, like I said, he is intelligent, never stood in the wind tunnel with it going. LOL
Just took a break to get beautiful. Or, just say I put my face on! Going to run an errand then work in the yard. Jack is out completing my new picket fence around my herb garden. Gorgeous day out....want to get out myself!

Good afternoon everyone. Just read through a little bit of the blog this morning. Preparing to make a trip to Bedford this evening and go back to my plastic surgeon at UVa tomorrow. No Paula, I wm not working yet. That is going to be a while yet. Been feeling up and down today. Belly hurting worse at some times than others but I guess that is to be expected. I will be so glad when I get all these drains out. They might take 2 of them out tomorrow but I would say that the other 2 will stay in a while longer. They are still draining quite a bit. Well, drat! I thought to come in and watch the cam at the right time. Then took a moment to see a dumb email my brother sent. Missed the eagle!!!! All my brothers fault, ya'll!
And missed a visit...boo! Megan, can't believe how much energy you have to get up so early and still be at it--don't think your nap would be enough for me!!
I am home, dress-less, of course. I did make progress though. I always thought I wanted a "little black dress". I found out black is not my color. No matter what style, yuck. So now, I will check on line to see if I can find any colors besides black. That is about all any store had, except for Macy's and I didn't want to pay their prices for something I will probably wear once.
I thought of that, too, looked a little but didn't see anything I liked. Next trip I will look at them more. I thought there would be more to choose from, but there really wasn't a lot to look at.
Paula..my Tai disappeared...:( Having lots of problems with my follow-up post coming to new e-mail address....have 3 different passwords for goggle, sometimes one works, sometimes none...how can I just cancel and start over?
Mits, the old google may not work - the one with your Tai, because you changed your email address...maybe the other one is gone already...from comcast.

I suspect the temperature has something to do with the problem.
GLO...anyything new on your GLIMPSES?
You are probably right, Steve...the same thing happens to me when it is cold! :)
Good Morning Glo...
Still CAM is working!! ( :
I hear an eagle at Maine
Squirrels and blue jay on Deer Cam
Oh, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
Norma Lots of Donkeys out and it must have rained very wet.
Look at all those sticks they have picked up and put in Our Nest!!!!!!
Now, I wonder what they had to do to make the cam work again? If they would teach me, I could run right down the road and do it myself. lollololollol!!!!
It does look pretty deep, doesn't it,Dana? Now if they would just learn how to put a roof on there, we would all be happy campers.
OH, WOW! I just was able to move the nest all around. This will let us see Lib's feetsies when he is on the edge of the nest!!!
This is an early Christmas present for ALL of us!!

BIRDS DEER CAM MICHIGAN
NEAT it is on a feeder on a tree...squirrel inside!! This place has all kinds of feeders...and the cam stays awhile then moves to another place.
We have watched this cam before..
Thanks, Steve:) I think the main thing is, Wanda, the reset button is at NCTC not out in Denver, so if the live feed has a problem, they can fix it here instead of waiting for someone else to fix it.
On it is on the table now
Morning Megan I thought you was "catching some more shut eye"?
Thank you all and Steven GREAT LIVE AND STILL CAMS!!!!!!
Now I bet this person goes through A LOT OF BIRD SEED!!
I thought that was the case, Megan. Now if they could show me or you where that button is, we could push it and not have to bother them. ;) ;) ;)
DANA, that is a neat site, I have never been there before!
Wanda You should have gotten a feed I think monday on Glo's Glimpse's with an update on the Lone Pelican.
I will be posting again at some point this week but am very busy on good size project for the For the Love of Eagles Blog for tonight.
Off to coffee and dog treats.

THE MICHIGAN BIRD DEER SITE I POSTED at 8:02am this thread. "IS NOT" THE SNOWMAN CAM
I guess Stay Warm probably sounds a little silly to Jim and maybe even Red...and maybe Delpia...but I guess it applies to most of the rest of us....
Wonder how much snow Norma got? Hope it don't kaput the computer again!
Megan - that is amazing, making your trip that early in the morning...
Glo : are you still working at the Shelter? I bet everything brightens up when you are there for those folks.
Time to get back to work on house-cleaning, have a visit here from the grandson coming up this afternoon...gotta make room to Play!

Michigan site was very slow coming up for me but eventually made it. I'm on cable modem too so Deb it might not have been hung.
Good luck Deb.
Wanda - Cape coral eagle nest is down, they are checking on it. I couldn't get the osprey one to open at all yesterday.

Sharon, have you tried zooming in and placing your cursor on the nest and move it around?

Still having problems...can't open e-mail w/ attachments. Argh!!!! Giving up for now....think I'll shut it down for awhile and see what happens!!
Sharon, have a safe trip and a good f/u visit!! Know that Alex and Thelma will take good care of you. Be a good girl!! No dancing yet!

Dancing is still a day or 2 down the road! ☺

Coons at pix
Color is beautiful on the Michigan cam. Deer at feeder eating. Lots of food in feeder and on ground.
The pool felt so so good today I didn't want to get out of it. The stretching felt good.
Raccoons at PA cam
Missed the deets, was feeding the dogs
Pool sounds nice Dana. Glad you found one.
Chipmunks at the extreme MI cam
Do you have a Dress Barn out there Deb?
Deb, how about a nice dressy pantsuit?
Deets up really close at snowman cam
funny Deb, Macy's around here is considered more of a bargain store....always have 20% off coupons:)
Mamma hummer off the babies
looks like deer have dandruff..
5 or 6 deets now
Bald baby hummer heads!
got a pic of hummer a little while ago feeding little ones
Awww little orange beak poking out!
2 of em!
Deb - a pair of black pants or a skirt and one of any colorful tops makes a great outfit especially for more then a one time wearing.
Yepper - The Deets are up close on
the snowman cam.
Mits - do you think it is very large snowflakes on the snowman cam?
couple of bites and back on the hummer babes
Good suggestions Mits and Jo
I thought of that, too, looked a little but didn't see anything I liked. Next trip I will look at them more. I thought there would be more to choose from, but there really wasn't a lot to look at.
I hate shopping.....Yes, Jo either snow or sleet on deer
I wonder who took that pic of Liberty on our new NCTC page?
Anyone else notice some people now have capitalized names....didn't notice it before...I thought some weren't but now seems they are?
The names just seem bigger to me in size for some reason.
waiting for verizon to call back...nice you don't have to sit on the phone waiting
Paula..my Tai disappeared...:( Having lots of problems with my follow-up post coming to new e-mail address....have 3 different passwords for goggle, sometimes one works, sometimes none...how can I just cancel and start over?
My name is capital now and it wasn't before. I have the puppy cam on and the dogs are really listening to them play.
I love it when the deet look into the cam. However, I wanna see a bear there, again!
Aha, that's what you meant..I see he is gone now!
Thanks, Deb, now I know I'm not crazy...I think mits and floralgirl have caps now too
Mits, looks like you are on your new profile...says you just joined in Nov...
Paula - Mits
I had suggested because Mits has a new email address to create a new blogger account when she couldn't get in.......
That's why she doesn't have her Tai
Mits, the old google may not work - the one with your Tai, because you changed your email address...maybe the other one is gone already...from comcast.
