UPDATE ON ROBYN ........Good morning Jo I hope all is well :) We finally made it to Florida Monday (mom said hello). When we were out yesterday we had an osprey fly over the car to its mate. There are also a lot of swallow-tailed kites here which we never had seen before in FL as we did in Mississippi last year. Hugs.......
MEGAN: I experience some of the same difficulties opening up some of the jpegs and attachments..sometimes takes several tries, about half the time I fail...I am not smart enough on the computer and my programs...sometimes get them opened almost by accident...I have a feeling some of the Momsters will get us some clues going.
Short stop here on the Blog, going to see the Grandson in Morgan County. I finally have a day off..

OK so I have to laugh at myself ...really thought no one wanted to talk to me lol
Hi, Dana, It's also partly my fault you didn't get the message.
When I signed on this morning, I noticed there was a new thread with maybe 20 comments, but I checked the later comments on yesterday's thread first...
So, I noticed the "new thread" message wasn't there, but I thought everyone had gone on over already anyway. So I also didn't leave a message...
I just read these comments everyone has made over here. Darn I've missed alot. Would have loved to see the flamingo chick in water with Mom. Also the female otter.
Oh I feel like I was left on a street corner as a child and they never came back for me lol
Vicky I'll be there for your celebration.....why cause I always seem to be somewhere else and don't get the messages" just kidding.....now who would have done such a "smart allick (spelling) thing"!!!! :( Bad person!
GOOD JULY 2ND to all you wonderful people out there. Haven't been on much lately, as have been busy catching things up around the house and trying to read blogs and emails. I have also been keeping an eye on our nest and the flamingo hatchings and now the chimney swift.
Dana, we are so sorry. I would never leave you over there by yourself on purpose. I am kinda glancing in and out. Thought you were with us, kept getting the emails, which is what i look at, so I was with ya.
Sissy I would fall out of my chair laughing if it would hurt me lol
Yep I was checking emails two places and sending emails and just busy as a bee there and back on the other blog lol I'm laughing out loud here can hardly type lol
The other day I called Social Security and signed up for Medicaid. Yes Jim, I am getting there. I kept thinking they would send it to me,duh! Me out of millions that they should know about. :)
Yesterday I was out and over to Manteo to get my drivers license renewed for another 5 years. Some get it for 8, but being an oldie, I guess we get it only for five.
I see where Indiana Dave's eagles have fledged, Vicky is sending out invites and then taking them back lol, Robyn is in Fla? Jo is out to lunch! Dana is being given the run around by all you lovely people and left to sit on the other blog! :) EEsissy wants to be a panda when she grows up. Mits are you still at the ocean condo or home?
I don't think they have the 8-year option on the driver's license in CA.
In fact, I think the 5 years is up from 4 years many years ago.
The good news is that the DMV's are so crowded, they encourage you to renew by mail or on-line, and I can't recall the last time I actually had to go in to the office to get it renewed.
If they still do it, they do it at large intervals now.
Thanks for the update on the weather for Shepherdstown, MITS, our wonderful weather preacher. MEGAN Hope ;you have a nice time with your grandson, and Deb have a safe trip to SF.
I was going to check if the WE adults were feeding the chicks today, but forgot.
Well, I think the male just delivered a fish, but if he did the older chick was lightening fast in grabbing it and getting it to the other side of the nest.
I think she's the one they're trying to force to fledge, so let's see if it works.
Candy, there's no seating at the DMV in CA. There are multiple, humongous lines that snake around the building and never seem to move until about an hour before quitting time.
Yeah, Jim, that feeder has been a busy place. Had a few coati there a while ago. looks like the bees are moving back in though. that runs the hummers away. BOO!!
With my 'puter working on and off since Friday, I haven't seen them very much....sure did miss them. I hope they NEVER leave. They can help take care of Lib O& Belle's next brood.
SHARON Congratulations to your Daniel for getting his learners permit.
Hey WANDA, I haven't seen you in awhile. Good to see you! I read all about your bad storm up there. Glad you and Gene are OK. I take it you have electricity now.
I told you all that I just got signed up for medicade and it should have been medicare. Duh! Duh! I can't seem to get into the swing of this getting old business. Now I get something in the mail today that said that I was not elegible for receiving Social Security. REASON:::: I told them I didn't want to apply for it yet. AND they wasted a mailing to tell me that. I guess the fun with them is just beginning.
WANDA Well, I will claim it next year when I retire at 66. Then I will have waited my full time. I guess I could have had it now, but I'll wait one more year.
Did we get a food drop in the nest? Speaking of fook, we are taking my neighbor out to dinner tonight, So.....have to get ready. We like to go early and beat all the crowds that are down here now.
Just checked and no live cam. Rats. What is going on, I wonder? Oh well, later gators.
THERE THEY ARE AGAIN! I, also would think that Pearl is the one with the food, Middy is the one with Tourettes Syndrom and Tiny is in his favorite spot....They haven't changed a bit.
The chimney swift just got off the nest and there are four eggs in that little nest. I don't know how they will all stay in the nest once they hatch. Sometimes the parent has to hold on for dear life.
PAULA Two of the didn't get the first course and I hope the one that did was Tiny. The one on the nest is patiently waiting for the next course to be served so he/she can eat it all up by herself. Come on Lib And Belle, he/she is being very patient
his mama thinks if she tells him enough he will keep his snout out of the trash instead of putting it where he can't reach it or putting him out to potty in the back yard but know I guess we are both too hard headed
Hi everyone. Looks like you have been enjoying the live feed. glad it was on when 3 were there to enjoy. I try it once or twice a day but well it is great to see all 3 there.
Mostly I just stopped in to say Thank You to those who stopped by Daphne's Tribute page. It meant a lot to me.
Good evening fowl friends! Been lurking, but busy w/ a lot of other computer stuff today. Sissy--hope you have a great holiday weekend at the lake. Deb--thanks for the rest of the pics! Wanda--glad you are back on line! Glad to see everyone back! Hope Magpie and Norma had good days with their activities. Jo...couldn't get Challenger to play--it kept reloading every 2 seconds. Will keep trying!
Got some things to do around the condo....heard from Ceil today, not much change, but she still has 2 days of meds to go, says it is beautiful out there, says ,Hello, and thanks for prayers.....GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
Evening again! Was cracking steamed crab legs in front of TV. Very time consuming! And Yummy.
Jo, Suzanne sent me that lady's pic who went osprey banding with us. In fact she made a dry run to the Park when I was there last TU and I don't remember her name. Melanie would know. I go to Park tomorrow & Sat., but don't think anyone there would know.
I haven't read every word from tonight, but wanted to know if the problem viewing the photos Suzanne sent to Momster Yahoo had been resolved. I think Dana couldn't view them & when I checked, they were the squares w/jpeg,etc. that wouldn't open. If she saved those emails, she may be able to send to indivual email addresses.
Good Late Evening Everyone. Sure sounds like some good action in OUR nest today....missed it all of course.
Had some good kid fun in Morgan County, saw a beautiful little delicate fawn standing on a back road, then it scampered off into a field...also saw a little family of skunks! alongside the road...and heard a lot of Towhees...but haven't seen them yet! Late for me, usually have seen a bunch by now.
Black-eyed Susans, Day Lillies and Wild Sweet Pea are out in abundance, also Joe-Pye Weed sprouting up. Hope to see Butterfly Weed tomorrow.
Love to all, hope all is well in all your nature corners.
Tubby Time! Back on here later.
MITS - we appreciate your attention to Lake Washington Eagles. Sad news; It is What It Is.
Well, I was sure the the older eaglet at West End, Miracle, had fledged when I first tuned in this evening, but she's turned up again. Don't know where they've been hiding her the last couple of days.
At least they got fed a couple of times today, but I'm not sure how much the younger one got.
Maybe tomorrow.
The younger one is likely going to be delayed some owing to the small amount of food she's been getting lately.
Since the camera angle was changed weeks ago, haven't seen the parent roosting at all...and don't watch it enough to see any adult action in the nest...but it sure is a nice site.
There is some very informative and straighforward narrative on the Loch Garten site. I am looking at the cam page, under BLOG, and "Everyone has an Opinion," authored by the staff at RSPB. We have all experienced sadness at the quirks and natural processes (and maybe some man-made problems) resulting in the deaths of some very endearing babies this season.
I hope someone did because they are gone now...will probably be in and out for awhile, the next few minutes maybe. All I can do is save to a document and print it out, I cannot figure out how to send it anywhere ! Aaarrrgh
Good mornining everyone. I haven't seen any action this morning. Found another snake skin in my yard yesterday but this one was small. I'm totally freaked. Can't stand snakes and I imagine a big ole nest of babies just waiting for me to reach somewhere without seeing them. Crazy huh. Hopefully Buddy will take care of a snake if he sees one. I can imagine one of the eagles carrying one off to feed to the eaglets. They do eat snakes don't they? Sharon said I'm going to have to put mothballs down. Well enough of that. I hope everyone has a good Thursday. Got to get ready for the workday.

UPDATE FROM LAKE WASHINGTON
Dear Ms. Kalis,
As many of our viewers have noticed one of the young bald eagles has
not moved over a period of several days from the prone position in the
nest. To complicate things even further the tree trunk protrudes through
the center of the nest behind which the eaglet is laying. The other
nest sibling is very active as it moves in and out of the nest
apparently very close to fledging.
We do see the same pictures that you see and those images serve as one
of our most critical pieces of information on the nesting success of
this family of bald eagles almost 100 feet near the top of a large
Douglas fir. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife have no
dedicated staff to observe continuous images but we do appreciate and
frequently depend on your individual or collective observations on the
events recorded by the WildWatchCams.
What this WildWatchCam and other are depicting are natural processes
and we will strive to interpret for you and often with your assistance
what is going on in the life and death struggles that our cameras
record. As we gain more information from our wildlife biologists,
people on or near the nest tree or from you the viewers we will bring
you those updates.
As of July 1 at 6:30PM in Washington it appears as though the Lake
Washington bald eagles have successfully raised one fledgling bald eagle
and the other may have died from unknown causes. There is no reason to
retrieve the suspected dead bird since it might further jeopardize the
healthy about to fledge bird. We may consider a climb after the one
bird fledges and at that time a necropsy could be performed for possible
cause of death.

I've got to take care of business for a while... Be talking to you eagle lovers later.

i don't know though. Don't look like the bees are keeping the hummers away right now.
I haven't had the live feed at all today.

AND they wasted a mailing to tell me that. I guess the fun with them is just beginning.
Oh WANDA, I forgot to thank you for my beautiful facial. I am finally tall and thin! :)
Sorry Sharon. You don't have a Daniel. Way to go ANDREW!
Just got back from the pool and my brain is still fried from the sun. :(
That chimney swift is sure a wiggly bird. Does anyone know if she has any babies in her nest or just eggs?
Its all good, Candy. I knew who you meant! :)
Hi CANDY...Glad you liked your FACIAL. I have had SS for 2 years now and find it a great help.
Boy,the nest emptied right out. Off for more adventures I reckon.
off to do a few errands...bbl
Parent in nest!
LIVE FEED IS UP
Someone just flew in.
Thanks Deb, been trying it all day!
Seems like when the sun goes down
the cam comes up !!
Really clear pic now of the MT nest.
BBL
Saw a parent come in for a food drop, then one juvie chased the parent out of the nest, now 2 babies in the nest!
One is being a little ugly towards its sibling! Fixing to get a time out!
All three in the nest.
All 3
Present and accounted for
Hi Sharon
I came back for the show
IT'S STUCK
I can't move too well...
Hi Deb
Glad you're here
You know there is enough there to share!
I think those 2 have an attack plan
Wow! jUst in time for live cam of our juvies. All three in our nest! How lucky are we!
Who just bit who?
Hi Candy
Yep! You timed it just right.
Doesn't look like there is any sharing going on. Maybe we need another food drop or two. :)
I will have to replay that part, it looked like another beak grab.
I'm not certain. When they get into a different camera range I have to change my mind.
They all must be really HUNGRY !!
Hey Jo. How have you been? From what I read, you are very busy with all your family and that is good.
Do you think that Tiny just got up on his perch?
Maybe that is Middy who was pecking!
More than likely that it is Pearl who is eating.......
I am assuming it is Pearl with the food, but not sure on the other two.
Maybe they put the live cam on when they think that the family will be in the nest.
The other juvies all know to give Pearl her space when it comes to food. :)
Did anyone see what she is eating?
THERE THEY ARE AGAIN! I, also would think that Pearl is the one with the food, Middy is the one with Tourettes Syndrom and Tiny is in his favorite spot....They haven't changed a bit.
Parent delivered it, but I didn't see what it was.
Pretty sneaky, but it worked and one eaglet stole a couple of bites.
Looks like one snuck in there and got a piece; brave soul.
Uh oh. Touchy, touchy. Now we have a free for all.
I think it's Tiny with the food!
In their respective corners again. It looks like another sneak attack getting ready.
I liked it better when Belle and/or Lib fed them - bite by bite! lol
Whoo Hoo! You were right Candy!
Sneakkkkkkkkkkyyyyyyyy!
But he has to be faster then that!
Oh Boy! All 3 & they're moving!!! YIPPEE
LOL, nothing like being watched while you eat!
good evening everyone-looks likes like the nest is barely big enough-I agree-when the parents fed them it sure didn't make me as nervous
Looks like tiny gave up the tiniest scrap!
what a beautiful sight
Hi T-Bird - Hope you had a good day.
Loretta - what is the name of the lady that took the picture of you 3 Ospregy banders
POOF goes 1
You think there would be some
nestovers to go after...
The chimney swift just got off the nest and there are four eggs in that little nest. I don't know how they will all stay in the nest once they hatch. Sometimes the parent has to hold on for dear life.
I think the last two juvies are waiting for the next course. :)
That was Tiny that flew the coop - guess the poop shoot helped!
Thinking about leaving.....
Just can't find the right spot for
TAKE OFF!
Poop Shoot
LOL Candy - how about their main course!
POOF 1 to go
One left. He is the smart one and will be there when the second course comes in.
I did thanks Mema Jo. Sure is good to see the eaglets live an in person this evening.
had to go out and get Buddy out of the trash-came back and there was one-still a mighty beatiful sight!!
PAULA Two of the didn't get the first course and I hope the one that did was Tiny. The one on the nest is patiently waiting for the next course to be served so he/she can eat it all up by herself. Come on Lib And Belle, he/she is being very patient
gone to hunt i hope
Oh well, that ends that. I guess the other two will have to go to bed hungry. :)
Just to look at that empty nest and imagine all the living and the heartache that has taken place there is truely spiritual.
ALL GONE
They should be hunting soon on their own down at the river.
What was Buddy doing out in the
trash!??
his mama thinks if she tells him enough he will keep his snout out of the trash instead of putting it where he can't reach it or putting him out to potty in the back yard but know I guess we are both too hard headed
Hi Tbird. Who is Buddy and what is he doing in the trash?
while i was out there I saw one of bev's favorite birds poop shoot on the car :)
Buddy's favorite thing to do is be elbow deep or nose deep in trash! She probably carried him out with the trash. Might have been hiding there! :)
I sure do miss that bassett hound!
Oh, question answered. Buddy must be a dog.
Candy, Buddy is an adorable bassett hound and he is my nephew!
I am going to guess it was the poop shoot of a lovely mockingbird, right?
Buddy is my Basset Hound who likes to look at the eagles
Hi everyone. Looks like you have been enjoying the live feed. glad it was on when 3 were there to enjoy. I try it once or twice a day but well it is great to see all 3 there.
Mostly I just stopped in to say Thank You to those who stopped by Daphne's Tribute page. It meant a lot to me.
yes it was the mocking bird poop shoot :) just for beverly
Well there was a poop shoot before that last takeoff...Pearl has eaten too!
and then there was silence
Hi Glo
Daphne's Tribute page is beautiful.
I was there a day or so ago but plan to go back. Hope you and Dexter are
doing well! ((hugs))
I need to be off line for about 2 hrs
I'll check back then
BBL
Hope everyone has a good evening and we all get to see some more action in the nest or some sleeping. :) I'm going to veg out-later.
Ok all, I am also out of hear for the night. Want to read some more of my book and just relax watching tv.
You all have a peaceful and restful night (That means you too JIM). Tomorrow will be a new day with a new beginning.
Good night all!
Yell if we have any more visitors - I too am going to try to relax a little this evening...
Well, I missed all the action, darn the luck. Thelma, you should shoot them mockingbirds, they are evil!! :)
Everyone have a good weekend, I will try to check in at the lake if I can get a signal.
BBL, Gotta burn a CD.
Sad news; It is What It Is.
xo for now.

The evening has slipped away somehow!

Good Night All.....
Sea Eagles are looking real active right now....
http://www.smp.no/templates/scripts/orneredet_live.php
Since the camera angle was changed weeks ago, haven't seen the parent roosting at all...and don't watch it enough to see any adult action in the nest...but it sure is a nice site.
'Night NATURE NUT and everyone turning in right about now...will be watching for some late-night lurkers....
xo God Bless Us Every One...
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SLEEP TIGHT
PRAYERS
There is some very informative and straighforward narrative on the Loch Garten site. I am looking at the cam page, under BLOG, and "Everyone has an Opinion," authored by the staff at RSPB.
We have all experienced sadness at the quirks and natural processes (and maybe some man-made problems) resulting in the deaths of some very endearing babies this season.
Two Jackdaws (if that is what we have decided they are) at Ferry Boat Finney's..please, someone tell me they are seeing these beauties....
I hope someone did because they are gone now...will probably be in and out for awhile, the next few minutes maybe. All I can do is save to a document and print it out, I cannot figure out how to send it anywhere ! Aaarrrgh
Feeding Time for Three Chicks at Finney's Nest....Nice !
Got to get ready for the workday.
live feed up:)
all three babies in the nest :) they are going to make me late for work again have a great one guys
Morning all, and early bird T-BIRD !
I see one Child in the Nest, and Live Feed is UP, and the Morning is Beautiful...
