Big doings here this morning. I drove in to see our eagle pair perched above the nest.
Steve Wunderley caught me as I came in and said that he observed the pair mating ealier this AM. Steve says that that is a very good sign for another clutch. No guarantees, but steve said it is promising.
Steve also said that this is a very unusual pair of eagles, and we should expect the unexpected.
Update:
If there was some success, we should see an eggs or eggs in about a week.

Paula had put one on Momsters and I saw it when I was putting Iris' pictures up.
Since Spidey is back and Belle & Liberty are at the nest - ALL GOOD SIGNS!
I seen in the Momsters album where one of the two pics I snapped was different than Paula's so I added it.
Probably will have to call it spidette:).

Just read the msg about mating and then read excitedly thru the blog today - How wonderful :) I so hope our pair get to parent this year - the weather should be kinder for sure at least warmth-wise. Belle can take some of my fat, since we have the same name, it should be compatable??? Then she'll have plenty of energy to produce some eggs for Liberty to work his magic on. Spidey looks content to have his protectors back - she/he's no fool - no spider eatin' birds will hang around long enough to make a meal out of the spidey family in that tree! I'm going to try to not have spider filled nightmares tonight. Sweet dreams all

Did either of you just see what was going on in our nest with Liberty and Belle??
They both have been and out a couple of times. Brought in a stick and moving around things in the nest and nest cup! Look very promising :)

Belle and Liberty have been busy in the nest. They too want an eaglet I just know were going to get at least one. Spidey was there last night Suzanne did you get my pic I sent to you.
