Good morning all. Thanks for the new thread Steve Thanks also for the report on "our' eagles LOL. Glad to know they are busy like the eagles we are watching at kent. Must be fix up the nest time for eagles. Breakfast time here. Little bit of a late start and busy day ahead.

Good late morning all - great to have the update from Steve on our Liberty & Belle. I so wish we could watch them as we are the Kent eagle couple. Did not get back on yesterday - so I read all the comments & I have checked all the cams. Was goo to see the BW eagle.

The Kent camera lens needs to be cleaned off! So blurry!
No one home at Africam; Pete's Pond is too dark to see anything; nighttime in Brisbane, so can't see Frodo & Frieda; BW osprey nest empty, CT nest empty.
Have chores to do, but I'll try to check in later!

Birdgirl are you on Kent Cam 2 mine is great clear as can be. Cam 1 never watch that one it is blurry.
Ahhhh this is the cutest (I keep saying that don't I lol) of Buta Buta laying there alone. I just want to pick her up and cuddle her.
Vicky from IL and her hubby are due at my house on Fri someitme on their way back from visiting friends in IA. I will be very excited to meet both of them. She has already asked to go over and see the Marina where i enjoy the eagles in the winter here, so we shall make that quick trip while they are here as well. I
ll keep you posted BUT I might let her tell you here own Buta Buta story from here if we have time or when she is finally home from vacation. I don't think she is bringing any extra cookies from open house at NCTC though LOL

Lun Lun really has a time rolling around holding onto to Buta Buta to get comfortable.
Buta is getting to be quite the handful (or should I say mouth full) for Lun Lun!

TIRING!!!, but fun, well over 300 kids today, and the first group was 45 minutes late which just makes everything crazy. ANd the weather... well, the weatherman said it would be breezy, I call that WINDY! Today I was wind burned, sunburned and wind blown! Glad to be home.
I agree, thought it was more than a little breeze out there today.

Steve thank you for putting up with my calls, emails and others emails about the cam. Sorry we just couldn't take it. lol It was so great of you when I called to say a piece of equipment just came in today. My heart started beating even faster. THANK YOU NCTC's BEHIND THE SCENES WORKERS OF THE CAM.

I'm very glad to hear the still camera will be up very soon...now if they can just pick a time when the parent eagles aren't rebuilding and shinny up the old sycamore to quickly wire the nest for sound, we could be in eagle heaven next Spring.

Good Morning all. Danaand Suzanne seem to be doing the morning show so far. I see that even though we couldn't post much about it last nght, the news is spreading and everyone is so happy about the Still cam report. Got to clean my house now the next couple of days as I will be needing a minimum of the the next 8 months to watch the Eagles at my computer, NOT do housework.
Reminder: event hough its not there yet, the newsletter is on the way to your mailbox My guess is they have lots going out now that some are thinking holiday etc. They send them out of the queue in the order theycame in yesterday. I sent mine in around 4 your time, so it is probably down the list a ways in the order they are sent out. Its coming.
I am up early to walk dogs and beat the rain LOL. Then off to coffee and dog treats, will bLOG at you off and on over the day.
OH Yeah Suzanne Glad to read the info about the Brisbane falcons....that is great news.

They have snagged Buta Buta again. They are showing Yang Yang on the camera now. This is for her Thursday checkup I guess.
My screen at Atlanta has changed from Buta Buta. I am seeing a nice panda bear outside eating bamboo.

Ok SEAGULL at CT
I think this might be a different seagull. This one had markings on it's tail feathers. The markings are really pretty.
Oh that was pretty. He spread his wings a couple of times. Then he flew off. You could see him flying a long ways. Even though it was a seagull the flight was awesome.

I did a pic to myself and used the zoom in and can't see exactly what is under the feet. So I will stick with my guess a fish.
Suzanne my thoughts are he just had a piece of something in his mouth. I am thinking with this 30 second load we aren't seeing it. I think they are eating the fish. I think he had a piece of fish in his mouth that last time he turned towards the camera.

Wow that fly back in pic close up was great. Tummies full for now.
