GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! Hope all is well.
Looks like a very windy day up in Maine. Don't even need the live video to see that tree sway.
Winds here gusting 20-25miles per hr. later today gusting to 50 mph. Hope when we go to eat the tires stay on the road.
Well it looks like alot of us a vacuuming between yesterday and today. I tried many vacuums finally saved up and got the Rainbow. Boy does it suck up the cat and dog hair. This one when I dump the dirt doesn't starts my allergics going. All the cup, tray ones did when you had to dump then clean them. Expensive yes, through pennies, dimes, quarters back like I did until I finally had enough together. Puries the air too. :)

Hugs Norma! Missed you a lot also! Sure wanted to see you at NCTC last Saturday and give you hugs from IL! I am home and yes cookies did show up at Glo's! Had a most delightful time meeting Glo and her 2 "kids"! I mean doggies! Glo needs one of those baby pouch slings to hold one of her cuties!

I think Vicky was just "plain speechless around that one certain person". Don't think it mattered that Vicky's husband was right there. Sometimes not so close...he sometimes was talking to my Ed.

THANK YOU STEVE! How great to know the adults are getting the nest in shape, and we will soon be able to see them! Wind is gusting here now, also. We are in a high wind advisory until tomorrow morning, eith gusts up to 50 mph. Good day to stay in, had to run out this morning, glad I got home before the wind started. In keeping with the vaccuum theme, I should do some housework for sure. Got to shop vac in the basement first:( ,heavy rain last night left me a mess down there.

Well, I ain't going there with the vacuuming, too much typing to do! :) My internet explorer keeps freezing up with the Kent cam. I just shut down IE and go back at it. Gets a little irritating sometimes though!
NORMABYRD The 1st person to be baptized in it was my father-in-law..Springfield, Illinois..87 years ago. Since then EVERY Kalis baby has benn baptized in it, including my husband and son. It was sent from Poland all those many years ago, made of polish lace. I am so grateful to my daughter-in-law for letting us caring on this family tradition. She could have opted for a brand new outfit for MAGGIE. Will take pictures and send e-mails of them if I can.

Tai is still up in his tree - he really makes himself comfy! With leaves falling you can find him very well.

Anyone in your family make galumpkee (sp). Man, I am Polish and don't know how to spell it.

This is what I mean:
Golumpki is a hearty traditional Polish dish consisting of boiled cabbage leaves stuffed with ground beef, chopped onions, and rice, baked in a spicy tomato sauce; similar to a Cabbage roll.
We have them at every wedding, party, holiday etc when I visit my relatives in Massachusetts.
My other favorite Polish dishes are pierogies and potato pancakes.

I don't think we have to worry about seeing eagles in the Maine nest today. Thank God there are no babies in there right now, they would definitely get blown out!

I am getting live video up at Maine, anyone know exactly where this nest is located...would like to go on weatherunderground.com and see wind speeds.
All of Maine is under a wind advisory, looking at some of the speeds, probably just a plain old nor'easter, which can be quite nasty.
And these are sustained winds, not just coming and going.

Actually Mits I am glad to hear nany sounds at wavelit, was freezing upon me all morning.

Didn't have any problems with wave-lit freezing, but Petes' Pond was awful.
I just saw Fatty snapping at a bird or something so I ain't going to watch that again for a while. I don't like that part of Mother Nature.
Ok Sharon You know I agree with you. So if fatty is hungry today and gets his meal, then it might be safe to watch again tomorrow. We have to figure out this timing thing LOL. Did you get warm and dry yet?

My niece has been checking the mail this week and she kept telling me that there was a box stuck in the mailbox that she couldn't get out. It fit from the back for the mailman to get it in there but wouldn't come out our side. I just went to the mailbox determined to get that box out of there. I tore open the end of it and pulled out the contents. What to my wondering eyes would appear but Floralgirls cookies had come from far to near! (Okay, so I am not a poet). Thanks Paula and Floralgirl. What a wonderful surprise today!!!

I thought that bamboo momma was coming into the nest pad to eat. That was a polite little yawn from ButaButa. I just get so much peaceful pleasure from watching her.

I think it is Tai sleeping on the ledge. Cam keeps stopping at Pete's Pond. Wavelit won't come up. Buta Buta is wiggling around on the floor. That is my report for now.
He is asleep, and going to be spending the night! I just let the dogs in a couple of minutes ago and they usually come down here in the basement w/ me. They weren't down here, so I went to check on them. One is on my bed and the other is on the floor, next to the baby's port-a-crib!

Good Morning Eagleland. This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it This is also Maggies Baptism day. Lets all remember mits and her family as they celebrate this "Sacred" time. We'll be watching for pictures of your special time. maybe a Grandma and Maggie picture will show today.
