Good morning again everybody!! It is still 28° here and so cold. My sparrows are really eating this morning, trying to stay warm I guess. Still spitting snow here.

Tai is sleeping up in the tree. Buta is sleeping in the crook of Lun's arm. Eagle gone at Kent but I expect it will be back.
Now that was really cute. Lun Lun was laying on her back sleeping and Buta Buta was curled near the wall but beside of Lun Lun.
That was the cutest picture yet of Lun Lun :).
Well mommie left for a bit now she is back feeding the growing chubby panda.

Jefferson Cam: If Jefferson Cam wanted to make money for the town, they would install Red Light Camers there like Frederick has. That would slow them down to a halting stop.
LOL MeMa Jo Was thinking the same thing about that stop sign Thought "maybe I'll see if they need another traffic cop there to bring in the funds LOL. Looks like a gorgeous spot to live!!! As long as you drive defensively down town anyway.
If you watch long enough, I am sure you will see police cars doing the same thing!
What about a 4-way stop sign???

The road that you turn onto there is a main thoroughfare. It is College Avenue and about 2 miles down the road you run into Virginia. You can actually see up the road before you get to the end of Jefferson Street and I guess that is why it is just slow down and go most of the time.

From the best I can find on Google, it is an African Fish Eagle, if it has a white tail too but I can't see its tail at the moment.

Sharon I don't think there are any other cros in the pond. I think that is why they put "fatty" in there. Where he was at the other cros wasn't getting to eat.
I if he is HE I don't think that eagle will be eating any of his cros..

DANA, right now pete's is at 7:49p.m......the cam at wavelit is 5:49p.m. I e-mailed Trevor of Wavelit and they are going to adjust that clock to the correct time..they are both 6 hours ahead of us at this time.
Keep your eyes open Mits "fatty" likes to catch food at night. He will at daytime too, but crocs eat at night more.
Norma I was expecting Nilla at the Open House. She didn't come. I don't know why. Hope she shows up on here.

There is some kind of cat at Pete's Pond and it is not your average tabby cat!!
I don't know if a cat on the prowl is a good thing to be watching. It is drinking water now. I can't even tell what kind it is but it is big!
Okay, I quit watching Pete's Pond because there were deer-looking animals that came to the pond and I really didn't want to see what that big cat could do with them.

LOL Sharon I know at least one of us that spends VERY Little time at Pete's Pond and even less now that I saw nillas film about Fatty. .I am the one that turned of Grizzly cam with the graffic fish dinner going on..long before any news of a hunt etc. Please give me back "our" eagles" ASAP

I'm back:):):) Tai is not coming in..those eagles out in Kent sure have some big sticks there, thanks Sharon for the pics..knew they would arrive the minute I walked out the door.
Came back and read comments. Ok just alittle strange. We watched and maybe didn't see the kill of the squirrel, rabbit and fish (they were once alive, some still alive when they came to the nest). Our eagles killed and fed our special 3 eaglets.
If there is a cat of the wild drinking and it does get an animal. It has to eat and feed it's family too.
The bears that are at McNeil Falls doesn't have a Long John Silvers to get their dish from.
Remember Pandas were once "meat" eaters before their availablity of meat shortened and now they eat bamboo.
Not hitting on anyone for what they don't want to watch :) everyone has their preference.
It's nice we are now civilized so we don't have to eat uncooked meat anymore. Oh that would be yuckie ): some people like it quite "rare". Not me. lol

Dana I have absolutley NO problem with survival and how mother Nature does it. I don't find it entertaining however to watch the catch OR the kill....JMHO. Oh I like my meat med. rare tooStrange mixture aren't I .
Glo We "all" are a strange mixture. That is why it is so neat hearing from each other. That is why I wanted to make sure it was unstood I wasn't putting Sharon or anyone down.

Mei is so cute with Tai these last few nights, hugging him and trying to get him to nurse, but he only nurses when he wants to.
The Chinese Resturant we go to has a Sushi bar Mits you would love that..I couldn't eat that. See different things for different people. That is what I was tring to get across.

I have Pete's Pond up, Buta and Lun Lun, Kent nest, Frodocam. What else do I need to have up? Oh yeah, Tai and Mei. BRB!
Well, a fat lot of good that did me, they are in front of either camera!! (Tai and Mei that is).
Getting dark quickly at Kent, you won't have to keep that one up long, Sharon.
Kent nest MT, Frodocam nest MT, Pete's Pond MT (or nobody is there that I can see). Africam deserted, no Tai and Mei, Nest Box full - Buta Buta and Lun Lun!!
The picture was a little darker than that this morning when I first saw them there. That white just shines!!

When I was in the kitchen tonight I thought, man, the crickets are loud outside...I had left pete's pond on the puter.

I'm totally headblocked with one of those damn "change of weather" colds [or a reaction to the flu shot I got last Thursday].
Anyway, odds are I will survive...
Not too much action at Frodoville or Afrocam...because I'm still on a modem (hopefully not for long), I have troubles X 10 getting either of the African cams to load, and when I do, there's usually a small pond in the middle of nowhere with no animals in sight!
Once I saw an elephant suck up a couple of glurgs of water and a heron (I think) wading nearby, and then the thing stopped loading....
Well, enough sad tales. I'll try to do better tomorrow.
