Good early 'morning for me' to everyone. MITS: so thankful you are feeling better. Sorry you had to postpone your trip to OC, but I guess you missed all that traffic and that pothole on the bay bridge!
Nest looks a little wet - we had rain throughout the night here in the valley-I guess FLORALGIRL will let us know if her flower garden in Shepherdstown got a watering. I still can't completely absorb everything wvgal Vicky was able to see yesterday - Awesome.

Hi! did anyone see them this morning? I mean, like I'm a mother and I worry! Were there fireworks in the area? I mean like that kinda noise would scare the feathers off any bird. lol

Good morning everyone! Equipment for work messed up so I had to make a 2-hour round trip to get new. Glad to be back. Feel kind of lost today. Really grateful the live feed is up!! THANKS!
I stopped at the store on my travels this morning and found a Bic lighter with an EAGLE on it! Yeah. My sister said it was perfect for me since I am so obsessed. I said "not obsessed, just really interested!"
I will have fraps standing by for any activity.
12:28 p.m. Nothing moving but the leaves on the trees!
12:33 a.m. There were just a couple of dumb little birds in the nest. Couldn't tell what kind though! That might not be the safest place for them!!

1:31 p.m. There is a fly on the tree right below the camera. Only movement I see except leaves blowing ever so slightly!

There is actually a parent in the nest eating! No eaglets have arrived yet!
I KNEW THEY WOULD START TO COME THE MINUTE I WANTED TO LEAVE, EAGLET IN THE NEST, PARENT FLEW OFF, THINK, THEY BROUGHT THEIR OWN FOOD IN.....
Parent brought the food in and actually got to eat a little bit of it. Was in there for about 1 1/2 minutes before eaglet arrived. Eaglet looks to be getting ready to take off. Must not have been much food. Eaglet just took off - 2:06 p.m.
I just saw the Panda Cam.....UH OH! Tha's dangerous for me...LOL

JanetM, there was a parent in earlier and then an eaglet, but not much activity so far today. More will be revealed!
sigh, only the little lunch time action and they're off and soaring the skies again. LOVED the description from the 4th. Made me feel like I really was there.

Good Afternoon my Eagleholic friends..lol MT nest at 3:05 pm and even looks like the turtle shells are gone,, Hmmm perhaps Jo did climb the tree and get 1 for me..lol Well i hope to see alot of the kids in the next 2 days, then i am going to Upstate NY to visit my brother & family for the wknd.Even a visit into Canada since he lives less than an hour from there. So listen up Kids be on live cam alot for me!!! Oppps and everyone else to!!!

Done eating, and doing a little tidying up....Belle must've been pestering the kids about keeping things picked up....and outta here!

That has got to be Spunky eating, remember her favorite spot was over by the limb alot..3:37 took off from 12 o'clock but look like she was yackin to someone..lol
Hummm re-arrange time at the old home place...now viewing the outer limits. 3:38pm and a slick take off from around the 12 o'clock spot. Myabe Spunky has good bit of white still there.
Definitely a turtle. Saw Liberty bring it in and flipped it over on its back! Guess that keeps it from running away?
Eaglet (I think probably Spunkster) at 1 o'clock position, just took off. 3:37 p.m.
I frapped the incoming food, the incoming eaglet, outgoing eaglet and flying away!
Yes it is Paula; this was the third time we have gone there. This time my husband really enjoyed himself on the way in seen deer. Then since the eaglets are so big he could see them without using the glasses. His comment was, "boy there's feathers everywhere!" Then on the way we tired to find a back road (been to dam) was looking for another to come around so we seen more deer.
Of course like I said the BEST was the 4th of July show they put on. Each time we've gone we've seen them but nothing compared to that display.
MT nest,, Mits Tai is in a tree i think sleeping outside i know moms sleeping inside where its cool..
It would be neat if somehow we could make like a book for 2006. Putting all comments and pics in there. That way when Liberty and Belle come to fix nest for next time. We can always easily have this time in like a book/album form we can go relate back too.

Been watching the pandas for a while. They are enjoying their fruitcicles right now!
Sharon they sure are enjoying those fruitcicles...lol Remember Tia Shan's 1st birthday is Sunday.. they are having him abirthday party. Was watching the BC eagles nest i dont like where the cam is now , to far away..lol But i saw 1 fly in and out so i guess they have fledged??
Nilla, by the way, the only way I knew they were fruitcicles is because I remembered you saying it one day!

Eaglet flew in shortly thereafter. I don't know which eaglet this is in the nest but he sure was mean to Belle. Was squawking in her face and she was moving her head back away from him. Then she flew off. Survival of the fittest I guess.

Changing eaglet - don't think is Ms Inbetween, really white shoulders, looks to be Spunkster....and who was worried about Spunkster getting enough to eat...he is turning into little piglet. And not sure it is a fish now....maybe I should just watch!

Whatever they are eating the rain falling is not stopping it..lol Really raingin hard here in Martinsburg and i am 20 minutes away from nest. I hope we have sound next year if you havent heard the sounds they make it is sometimes scary and very loud!!

Appears to be lightning around the old sycamore tree! Spunky still eating. Those turtles are some tough work!

Pretty good view of how nicely those tail feathers have come in. he is doing great with whatever it is. Think this littlest guy is gonna be fine too...well if he learns to hunt and catch his own anyway. He certainly can hang in there to tear it apart and eat it!!!

BigBoy just flew into the nest. I think he brought his own food in or maybe not. Can't tell but it looked pretty nasty!
Wow - a great view of Big Boy flying in from the noon direction -stole whatever spunkster had, but then dropped it and they seem to be sharing the left overs?

Spunky gave up the leftovers to Big Boy, he should have, I think he was eating for darn near an hour.
That was a pretty good landing by Big Boy!
If they are eating fish i am amazed they can catch them as the river is so flooded and muddy right now..

Spunkster is getting so big, guess he's had more than one 'pig out' recently. He shows no desire to fly off. You're right, he probably knows his wings wouldn't hold up that belly!

A PLACE CALLED HOME FOR SPUNKY:.. Is abig Ole' Sycamore tree.. thats where life began for me.. I hatched from a lil egg.. With parent's who love me.. I was so lucky you see for being the runt life want easy for me.. i struggled and set back while other's ate... But then i took control and now i am strong and independent.. BUT always return to home that big Ole Sycamore tree is home to me.. One day soon this i can not do.. for them its time for me to fly and in time have my own brood.. ( well it rhymed..lol)

Hoping for "live feed" when they get into NCTC today.
I would like to be able to see what happens after the Parents stop feeding the kids. That should be the 12 of June would be 4 weeks for Spunky; they said Parents feed for 4 to 5 weeks then eaglets have to get on their own.
So I loved to have the "live feed" to see what happens after that time period is up for our eaglets.
