Thanks Steve! Thanks Paula! Have a great day! So happy for you and the critters having a warmer day!
I am off to read the paper, to walk, and then work in the yard.
Paula, that owl is in the MN nest. lol Looks like a cat! Wonder if the eagle will come back to the nest. They said they usually are working on the nest in Feb. and lay eggs in March.
AT the MN nest, they said the eagles have been there working on the nest, then sometimes they take a "vacation" before they lay eggs. Will be interesting to see what happens.
Lynne - Hope Steve's hand is feeling better today!
Sissy - sorry to hear about Tom's aunt.
Sharon - if you're really lucky, and it sounds like a good possibility, there will be an eaglet or 2 at NBG when you visit! They are saying first hatch date is March 9th.
Thanks Steve aww warmer weather Spring like I hope. Read in comment on this page. You must have had something happen to your hand. Hope it gets better fast.
Thanks Mits for finding the clip that Norma was telling us about. I am glad it hit the news.
Xcel Ft St Vrain eagle is incubating in the snow free nest!
Xcel Valmont owls - looks as though the 3 eggs have been removed in hopes a new clutch will be laid. Need to read the forum to see if Dave was the one to remove them.
Ok read back on last thread for comments about Sharon. Sharon may God keep Tom, Sissy and Family in HIS caring arms. Boy Brandon sounds like a neat boy. Prayers sending to our Lord for him and his family.
Shirley my prayers were sent as soon as I read abut Luna. God cares for his creatures as well. Special prayers for you and family.
I found that cam about the owl taking over the eagles nest in Minn. It's on put I don't see any movement. lol as soon as I wrote that Mommy Owl (I guess mommy) moved its head.
Hi all! Just had a strawberry and yogurt snack. Yummy! Boy am I spent!! Worked in the yard for several hours...raking and hauling leaves. We usually like to take care of the leaves in the fall and be cleaned up before Christmas, but all the rain and snow we have had prevented that. Do we ever have a mess now! Both Derek and Savannah there for the feeding and you can see other eagles in the back ground. I find it interesting that they are there with Savannah and Derek.

Yep, Lynn I knew that but she has been going to a good many GWU games I thought it would have been a good excuse to miss being on our blog! Now just watch what Judie says to my comments! lol

Just read back through the blog. Dana, I will be in Norfolk next Thursday, 3/11!! WHOO HOO, CHOO CHOO! Train is kicking off this leg of their tour tonight in Ft. Lauderdale!
I hope to go to Norfolk Botanical Gardens next Friday.
was just watching that on a local station...2 people were taken to GW hospital, one walked in, the other was on stretcher but talking, don't know where they took the 3rd victim yet.
The District's cherry trees are expected to blossom once again during the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival.
That's the word from National Park Service horticulturalist and cherry tree expert Rob DeFeo, who predicts that the blooming period will start March 31 and last until April 11.
DeFeo checked out the buds and said the peak bloom should be from April 3-8. Peak bloom is when 70 percent of the trees reach bloom.
He said if that holds true, this will be the 10th year in a row that the bloom peaked during the festival.
News Alert: Two police officers shot outside Pentagon 07:30 PM EST Thursday, March 4, 2010 --------------------
Two Pentagon Force Protection Agency police officers have been shot, said Chris Layman, a spokesman for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. He said they have one person in custody.
I think the 3rd person, I saw going into the ambo was the shooter, not a victim
The postal service is amazing! ☺ great way to stay in touch with loved ones.... went to Goodwill the other night and added a bunch of neat cards to my collection
Had some turkey vultures soaring overhead near the office too, we are near an old quarry...
Got kicked off the blog... just like that ! Saw the earlier post from JO about that...
some cool news on here today, good way to stay caught up on things
Crazy, a shooting at the Pentagon, that's a story I need to see more details about...hoping the officers will be okay...
Mits, guess no good news yet about finding that young man in Delaware. I have been googling it now and then....just what happened. Feel so bad for his family
I walked in the house and was unpacking my work things, pulled the notes I had made out of my back pocket on the time for the flyoever, and it was Right Then! Had to scramble back outside Pronto and saw it fly over just in time. It was a good one ! I'da kicked myself if I missed it after a week of clouds
This is a really busy time with midterms. Much reading/grading to be done in a short period of time.
UMD? GRRRRR! I would rather be at a Sheetz store.
Sad that MD students seem to have a culture of inappropriate celebrations. Proud the GDub students don't get that kind of publicity. Not the first time for UMD.
Did go to a final GWU mens at-home basketball game last night. It was senior night. Both mens and womens teams are headed for the A10 so that is good.
Jim, I think the Panda nap was the best remedy.
Need to look through newspaper. Really fading fast.
First, I want to say prayers for Tom, Sissy and their family.
Luna got through the surgery fine. Kathryn said that she looks awful now because they shaved the area around the eye and the eye is blood red, but it is okay.
Kathryn said that when she went in to get Luna to go home, Luna walked up to her and put her eye against Kathryn's lap and cried. The vet said that she thinks Luna was telling on them for hurting her.
They put one of those collars on her to keep her from hurting her eye, and Kathryn said that Luna just stopped moving when they did that. When Kathryn put Luna in the car, she would not even lie down. Kathryn had to move her legs from under her.
It has been extra hard for Kathryn because Tom is in Charlottesville. She said that Flash is having fits because she has to keep the dogs separated and he wants his Luna. I'm just glad that Kathryn is tough!
I have been reading all of your thoughtful messages. Thank you.
Parent conferences went well tonight, but it has been a long day.
I told Kathryn that she needs to give Flash a tranquilizer, and she has some Bendryl. She had some thoughts of sending Flash over here, but figured he would just have fits here. He really loves Luna.
I think Hunter is okay. He had told me that he did not want to be there when they did the surgery. Of course, there was no plan for him to be anywhere but at school.
oh sweet Luna, prayers for a fast healing....Margy, no news on him, he just disappeared, I thought maybe they would find him in a snowdrift or something, but all they found was his car and all his belongings in it.
I got a ticket not too long ago for an expired inspection, and the fine was hefty--with court costs and all, it was about $100 as I recall. I was unhappy with my repair shop because they had just done an oil change and checked fluids, etc. They also do state inspections, but they did not notice that my sticker had expired! Not that they're required to do that, but golly gee!
I have a poor plant in my bathroom window that is suffering terribly from lack of sunshine. It was very happy in the summer, but it is really sad now. I have been trying to leave the light on for it.
Speaking of inspections, I have to go do the MD emmissions inspection...what a racket...$14 to have them check to make sure I didn't disconnect some fuse...pisses me off...anyhow, what you gonna do?
Glad to hear Luna is home. Maybe you need to let them together for a few minutes, Shirley, so Flash can see Luna is OK.
I heard about the rowdy MD crowd...they were partying for 2 hours before the police broke it up?
Glad to hear Mason is home too, have to read that post as well.
Margy, we do have to be tough to survive all the things that life does to us. I do think my daughters are tough, sometimes tougher than their brothers, but I think that's not unusual.
Oh, I finally got to watch the eagle whisperer...cool.
And remember the female eagle in FL that got into a battle with another female who invaded her territory? The intruder had plucked out her chest feathers....she was released today. The intruder took up with her mate and they have chicks...not sure where this female will go...
Judie and Shirley: hope you are in dreamland now. Sorry you both are so worn out. Teaching isn't easy..... Glad your teams are doing so well, Judie, and that you got in another game. Shirley, report on Luna sounds positive....did they put in t he prosthetic? when Cinnamon had her eye surgery they wanted to send her home in an Elizabethan collar, too. I just laughed....couldn't have gotten her in the carrier to take her home, and she wouldn't have been able to get in her crate here. She did fine without it!
Back from TV - I don't do that very often but it filled the evening. Judie and Shirley - Hello Sorry I missed being here when you were on. I have a granddaughter complaining of all the hard work she has been doing on 3 midterms this past week. I told her she could Ace them - just like we tell Andy. She just isn't gun-ho about on line courses..but what do you do if you're in Germany and want your degree?
I am going to close down.... Need to play some solitaire and chill out. Also straighten up some papers on my table..... Checking cams quickly before I go
YAWN .... sorry everyone I'm extremely tired tonight so going to bed. Too much pain today and too many pain meds. Off to my recliner. Will check with you tomorros.
Shirley so glad Luna did well and sounds like home.
Eagles females can really put a hurting on another female. Like some women pulling each others hair out over some man that he has been running both women. lol
I did watch some cams this morning for awhile. Had to get busy. Just stopping now. Been putting books in order by author and Harqualine (sp) sets with each other. Plus westerns in author order and number order. I've done over 100 books today. Plus other things.
Did stop once to go to store for boxes. No not moving. Community yard sale in here in 1st weekend in June. Trying to get things I want to keep and what I don't want to keep. Also I have to move a few things out of living room (too much of my dear sweet hubby and it causes me to get depressed). Can't have that cheers and smiles is what I need and laughter good medicine.
Well since I wrote my book and still have a list of things to start with in AM. I better close for now. I'll be glad when I get things more settled where I can be on here with you GOOD, WONDERFUL, NICE AND CARING SWEET FRIENDS.
Well, we are home. Went to the basketball game....they won! Then, of course, we HAD to go to Braums for ice cream! Just had to celebrate. We are going back up there Saturday. The BIG game is at 9:00 Sat. morning. Joseph is so excited because the game will be played at the high school. So exciting! Then at 11:00 he has a soccer game. We were asking, "What will Joseph do for excercise Sat.?" lol
Wow! Now when I got on, some of the avatars were the dreaded little red Xs. So tried to refresh & it said the "web address was not available"!!!! Getting late~~~I was supposed to be cleaning downstairs guest quarters, but fixed up other stuff & when I got down there---Yikes. Fubby said he vacuumed?????He did the stairs, Not the rooms! He went to bed early, so I'll have to do it in AM before work! aarrgghh Saw some were talking about geese, etc. yesterday and finally at work, one small area of the pond edge melted & we saw one goose & 2 mallards who would swim & then step on the ice like they had a platform! The front fields were full of seagulls. At the Park TU snow had melted over chipmunk's holes & durn if he didn't come out & head for the bird feeder!Don't know how he survived all that snow. Well, I better play some solitaire, too & close up shop. Tomorrow is another day. Good health to all & Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Hi, Gang! Just dragged in from school--got all my homework turned in OK. Gosh, the school is having computer problems! Had to use 3 different ones tonight to get everything done! One wouldn't recognize my flash drive, another wouldn't go online to look up definitions in a medical dictionary, and that one wouldn't print stuff, because it had no connection to the printer! I'm slam wore out from ricocheting from one to the other! Did manage to get everything done, though, so guess I shouldn't complain too much.
Guess what?! We have an Audubon's warbler coming to our yard to eat our suet! He's really cute! The Band-tailed pigeon was back again today, too--several times.
Shirley, glad Luna is home and on the mend. Prayers for her continue.
Sharon & Sissy, prayers for you and your family for your loss. Special prayers for Brandon, too!
Lynne, prayers continuing for Steve!
Judie, looks like I got home too late to talk to you--hope you get a really good, restorative night's sleep, and maybe I'll catch you tomorrow.
Saying prayers for everyone's needs and for healing, and making sure the night light is on. The porch light is on for lateniks, and the eye scanner's ready to go. Have a fantastic night's sleep, everyone, and will talk to you tomorrow. G'night, and God bless! Love all you guys! :o] P.S.--My new avatar is a picture of my new pal, the Band-tailed pigeon.
going for car inspection soon last year, had to have all the oil lines replaced, that was pricey $ $ $ hoping for no problems this morning, IF I don't get caught on the way to the mechanics
Norma and Lynn Sounds like your Wonderful WV magazine project is moving forward to its enjoyable goal.... This is GREAT that you two teamed up on this ☺ ♥

Just Pooping in to say hello, check nests and I'm off to run a gazillion errands today. Hoping to be back by noon or 1.
Check my blog, I got the cutest picture from BWE this morning!
Steve has his follow up with the Dr this morning. He's been on 550 Naproxen and wrapped up and not allowed to use it so guess what....I FEELS GREAT!!! I'm hoping the Dr will recommend rest to continue til Monday so it gets a good chance to heal.
Have a beautiful morning all! Anxious to hear how Luna is doing today!
Yes Norma you are right about that. I'm getting "as the world turns" at the nest right now. Had been working fine. Refreshed not help. I'll keep trying.
Norma kept him up late last night. Now after going out he is all tuckered out and back to sleep tee hee. Usually wants fed as soon as he comes back in. lol
Oh I want to hear our nest !!!! Please...OMGoodness I typed that and bingo it came on. That must have been the magic words. giggling Oh it wounds so so so so GOOD ty God
Back at my desk this morning. It seems like I was just here.
Lynne, your Daisy stories remind me of our German shepherd, Ingrid. She flunked obedience school. It was way back in the 60's that we had Ingrid. Got her just after my husband and I got back from our honeymoon.
In those days, I hung clothes on the clothesline in our backyard. Ingrid loved to come barreling across the yard, take a flying leap, yank something off the clothesline and run away with it. She would stop and shake it and wait for me to come chasing her, then she would drag it in the dirt and take off.
Must get back to the tasks at hand--Canterbury Tales, the Seven Deadly Sins, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, and the rise of realism--what a mixture of stuff! Also need to get started on Frankenstein.
DAVIN had a dog & when she took her to obedience school---They told her not to worry if she didn't graduate HEAD OF THE CLASS! ho!--1st time I took her for a walk--opened door & she pulled me at least 50 ft---scratched arm too!---BUT--we all loved CAPON!!-- BEAUTIFUL SHEEP DOG!--
SHIRLEY---I meant to say I know what you mean--when you were talking about the wash on the line----ho!---But I got carried away with CAPON'S story---He was exactly like your dog!!---We never forget them do we?

Good Morning Everyone in Eagleland.

Great eagle story, Mits. Thanks!
Whoops! Commercial back for me. Interesting. Wonder if I will time out after 10 min.
have to give Norma, all the credit, she is the one who alerted it to us this a.m. on the blog, saw it on GMA.
Sissy - thinking of you and Tom and family - Read her obituary and she was quite a family lady!
Luna - Really hope her eye can be taken care of - Thinking of you Kathryn,Tom and Hunter and Shirley too!
I viewed the MN owl in the eagles' nest Could be a big battle happening there when eagles return.
Thanks Mits for finding the clip that Norma was telling us about. I am glad it hit the news.

Need to go out for awhile bbl
Sharon when you going to be near Norfolk?
Hello all!
Took Daisy for an early and VERY long walk this morning...such a pretty morning to be outside!
Jo, I still see the eggs at Valmont...please tell me I haven't been looking at videos all this time thinking I had the live feed!
I still see the eggs on live feed, but if you look at early a.m. pics, the sun is shining on them, so you can't see them
Hello Eagle Friends!!!
I forgot I about using my computer at work. I can stay in touch to day and tomorrow. Ye!!!
Took forever to get our nest up today.
Prayers for Tom,Sissy and Family. I am so sorry for you lost.
Shirley, I pray for you, your family and Luna. I pray that God will direct the vets hands for a successful operation.
Mits, thank you for the video site. That was amazing.
Lynn, I pray for Steves hand. I also am living with health ins. issues. Stinks!!!
wvgal_dana, I also found the owl to be still and moves very slow. Fooled me for a minute. I wouldn't want to be that owl when the eagles come home
Stopped cleaning and was checking email---Jo has been unable to get on the blog since noon. She'll see us when she sees us!
I'm having trouble too....very slow and hard to post
How is Steve doing today, Lynne?
Good afternoon, everyone.
Sissy, condolences to Tom and all your family and heartfelt prayers for Brandon.
Shirley, am wishing the surgery for Luna is successful and all will be better soon.
Paula, hope your DIL will soon be without discomfort and able to gather strength for the little one's arrival.
Also hope all have had a lovely day without any mishaps along the way.
Ooops, Lynne, wishing a quick and full recovery for Steve's hand.
Hi, Judie! Are you in classes today? Missed you yesterday---hope it was a good take-it-easy day for you.
Sure is nice to see 2 fish at BWE nest
Shirley - hoping all goes well with Luna's surgery! Pets are part of the family, too!

We're making plans to start work on the Osprey Cam maintenance that we discussed in our web log. If the weather cooperates, we hope to do it sometime in the next ten days
Looks and sounds very windy at the nest.
Watched the BWE feeding. Those two should grow fast at the rate they are being fed!
I know they look like twin bobble heads
close up at NBG, sun shining on eagles' feathers
Oh, wow! That is a great close up!

Jim
He or she is ready to leave for a while. Looks like she is calling out.
Two our nest!
you can see right down her nostrils, was just calling out for dad
self medication, huh, Jim...
Hello my fine eagle momsters and dadsters.
hey Thelma, both in the nest now..
Here for awhile. Gotta finish guest area of house downstairs. Been doing this & that but slowly. I'm so pooped---probably from eating soup! I did cook a tiny steak late last night, cut in 1/2 & then small bites.Boy was it good!
I did go out & tried some splint tricks on azalea branches w/electrical tape.
At Chelsea where the snow melted, bulb leaves are breaking thru!!!Think they're hyacinths or jonquils! Amazing!!
Sorry to read about Sissy's Tom's aunt. Prayers for them & Brandon & little Luna.
Back to the mines...
Savannah is feeding her eaglet. Boy has it grown!
Belle eating in our nest
Both Derek and Savannah there for the feeding and you can see other eagles in the back ground. I find it interesting that they are there with Savannah and Derek.
OMG What a full crop that eaglet has. lol
well darn she didn't share and left
that is one happy eaglet getting all that food
Jim, glad the panda nap did the trick. Not so sure about the contortions!!
Loretta, enjoy your company. Hope you can start to eat better soon!
Time to clean up and get ready to go. My sitting time has ended. Darn!!!
Have a pleasant evening! Anxious to hear about Luna.
from NZ....
March 1
We recently heard that Tai Shan is very well and happy at Bifengxia. He has fully adapted to his new surroundings, and is eating lots of bamboo, "panda bread," and fruit every day. At the end of the week, quarantine will end, and a celebration will be held to mark Tai's move into his new home, often referred to as No. 1 Villa.
Stopping in to say HI. The days are passign and hopefully soon a little fuzz ball in our nest. So nice to hear of warmer weather. I have to admit I am quite lost with all of the names and places you are reporting about but I did want to say Hi and very much hoping for our little one to arrive on schedule. Its Camera club for me tonight. I love this night. Dex will go to visit the neighbors while I am gone. He does fine over there getting spoilin. :-)
I made it back on here - I really hadn't tried all afternoon as I had made multiple trips to garage transporting Hubby with the Honda.
I see those Owl Eggs now at Valmont..
You're right, Mits that when the sun was on the nest box you couldn't see them.
Missed you yesterday Judie - I would have put money out that you went to the Terps and Duke game. Thought you may have had VIP seats.
Live stink bug in sunroom....argh!
Next week snow forecast has been cancelled.....we shall see how long that lasts!
Happy that we have those reports on Tai. Really do miss him. Sure hope we
get a new cub soon.
Mason is Home
#1 Villa for our baby boy! VIP!
Jo, Judie teaches at George Washington, not MD!!
Yep, Lynn I knew that but she has been going to a good many GWU games I thought it would have been a good excuse to miss being on our blog!
Now just watch what Judie says to my comments! lol
So very very good to read that Mason is home. Thanks for that info MeMa Jo. What a very long haul all of this has been. What a very special family.
I guess within 2 good days of high 40's or low 50's that all the snow
will have disappeared - Except the mounds in front of my house.
Is Luna have surgery today or Friday?
Luna's surgery today...good news for Mason.
Enjoy your Photo Club this evening Glo.
Does the club have all ages participating?
Good evening everybody! Mason is home, thank God for that.
As far as stink bugs go, kill at least 1 or 2 every day. They are hiding in notebook binders, behind pictures, wherever they can find!
If I disappear again it may not be by choice - I have just been knocked off 2 times when I try to publish my comment. But I will be watching some TV this evening.
I guess most of you will watch Grey's
Anatomy and PP. I'll be watching my
Mentalist and before that I think there's a CSI or one like it.
I see our night light is own - Belle needs to rest as she knows how much time a little fluff ball takes.
Well that one posted in a split second
Just read back through the blog. Dana, I will be in Norfolk next Thursday, 3/11!! WHOO HOO, CHOO CHOO! Train is kicking off this leg of their tour tonight in Ft. Lauderdale!
I hope to go to Norfolk Botanical Gardens next Friday.
Okay, Jo, understand. UMD fans did themselves real proud last night after the game, huh? What a bunch of jerks.
Got my first birthday card today. Thanks Mema Jo. I love you too!
Yes Mema Jo pretty much college age through oh late 70's maybe even early 80 for a couple of folks. 80 members. great folks

Can just picture the scene of those dogs greeting Mason!
Hi everyone! I want to be an eagle whisperer. What a facinating story.
Continuing to catch up, bbl
Just saw that the Pentagon is in lockdown after shooting at Metro. Two victims may be police!
Your welcome, Sharon. I know your real celebration will be the week after your b-day! Choo Choo!!!
was just watching that on a local station...2 people were taken to GW hospital, one walked in, the other was on stretcher but talking, don't know where they took the 3rd victim yet.
here is a sign of spring...
News Alert: Two police officers shot outside Pentagon
07:30 PM EST Thursday, March 4, 2010
--------------------
Two Pentagon Force Protection Agency police officers have been shot, said Chris Layman, a spokesman for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. He said they have one person in custody.
I think the 3rd person, I saw going into the ambo was the shooter, not a victim
but like they say on TV, too early in the investigation.
Come on you Cherry Blossoms!
The 3rd person appears to have been the shooter and he was hit and more serious than the 2 officers.
Did you get to look at Lisa's newest photo of the little fluff ball climbing out of the nest cup! Yikes!

Listened to a crow and a Red-Tailed Eagle more or less calling to each other today, could only see the crow
I am heading into the TV hopefully for some not to violent shows.

owl in the box at Valmont
This is a really busy time with midterms. Much reading/grading to be done in a short period of time.
UMD? GRRRRR! I would rather be at a Sheetz store.
Sad that MD students seem to have a culture of inappropriate celebrations. Proud the GDub students don't get that kind of publicity. Not the first time for UMD.
Did go to a final GWU mens at-home basketball game last night. It was senior night. Both mens and womens teams are headed for the A10 so that is good.
Jim, I think the Panda nap was the best remedy.
Need to look through newspaper. Really fading fast.
Time to get under the Sheetz soon Judie...
glad you got to see your team last night, hope they keep on going towards the top Judie
week-end's coming soon, hope that means some rest for you
That was quite a self-heal Jim did...rolled up like a Panda
Hello everyone,
First, I want to say prayers for Tom, Sissy and their family.
Tomorrow is
Red Friday folks
Remember our Military Folks, here and abroad...
I'm headed for some reading...
getting car inspected in the morning, have been dodging the cops all week because it expired on Sunday...
Good Night to all
Prayers and (( hugs ♥ ))
God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥
Shirley
Well, hoping that the worst is behind Luna, and Kathryn and all of you and that healing will be swift
How is Hunter doing through all this?
I told Kathryn that she needs to give Flash a tranquilizer, and she has some Bendryl. She had some thoughts of sending Flash over here, but figured he would just have fits here. He really loves Luna.
Kathryn is tough....she gets it from her Mom ♥
Take care, Shirley, get as much rest as you can...
Good Night xoxo
I think Hunter is okay. He had told me that he did not want to be there when they did the surgery. Of course, there was no plan for him to be anywhere but at school.
You all are so very kind. I told Kathryn that you were praying for Luna and the family. She really appreciates it.
oh sweet Luna, prayers for a fast healing....Margy, no news on him, he just disappeared, I thought maybe they would find him in a snowdrift or something, but all they found was his car and all his belongings in it.
Margy, get your car to the inspection place!
Evening, all!
Whoo Hoo the Mount won their 1/4 final game...we'll see who they play next.
Grabbing a bite to eat and catching up...
Just trying to read back a bit . . .
Too bad about the young man in Delaware.
Shirley, thankful that Luna is home with Kathryn and continued prayers for recovery. So very difficult with animal family members.
Must say goodnight. Am more tired than I can express. Need sleep and quiet -- and maybe retirement.
Turning my light off but leaving the night light on for others coming in later. Please don't slam the door. Wishing pleasant dreams for all.
Oh, so tired I forgot. Andy, please set the alarm for us.
I have a poor plant in my bathroom window that is suffering terribly from lack of sunshine. It was very happy in the summer, but it is really sad now. I have been trying to leave the light on for it.
Good night, Judie. Rest well.
Paula, Kathryn did let Flash check Luna out, but he got so excited that she had to separate them.
Going to head upstairs and crash. I am very tired. See you tomorrow.
Nite Shirley and Judie...
Margy, glad you aren't working tonight....very busy evening. Hope you sleep well, too.
Paula I hope Ajay gets her situation straightened out to her benefit with the time she has spent on the course.
I will see all y'all tomorrow. Retiree breakfast in the morning, so up and out early. Y-a-w-n! Prayers for all.
Well Luna made it through. Hope the healing is fast!
Prayers for all needs/wants.
God bless all
Usually I'm not the one in this late.
Lights on dim. Night and prayers.
All eagle's heads are tucked under wings
Little clouded leopard cubs are asleep
Good Night All
Prayers for everyone being said
((((hugs)))) ♥ ♥ ♥
Well, we are home. Went to the basketball game....they won! Then, of course, we HAD to go to Braums for ice cream! Just had to celebrate. We are going back up there Saturday. The BIG game is at 9:00 Sat. morning. Joseph is so excited because the game will be played at the high school.
So exciting! Then at 11:00 he has a soccer game. We were asking, "What will Joseph do for excercise Sat.?" lol
So, glad Luna is now on the road to recovery. Hopefully, she will heal fast.
Looks like our SIL is headed to surgery. Went to the doctor today, has a sonogram tomorrow. He has an abdominal hernia. YUK!
Looks like most folks have headed to bed. Think I will get comfy in PJ's and then read. Jack is watching hockey.
Miss Wanda!
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Wow! Now when I got on, some of the avatars were the dreaded little
red Xs.
He went to bed early, so I'll have to do it in AM before work! aarrgghh
Saw some were talking about geese, etc. yesterday and finally at work, one small area of the pond edge melted & we saw one goose & 2 mallards who would swim & then step on the ice like they had a platform!
P.S.--My new avatar is a picture of my new pal, the Band-tailed pigeon.

Steve has his follow up with the Dr this morning. He's been on 550 Naproxen and wrapped up and not allowed to use it so guess what....I FEELS GREAT!!! I'm hoping the Dr will recommend rest to continue til Monday so it gets a good chance to heal.

A few seconds ago at BWE it showed the one chick. In position where you could see it beautiful black eyes and it big feeties.
Good morning!
SHIRLEY!---I wasn't on much yesterday---Sending prayers for LUNA & your family--Pray you stay well!!
Thank you, Norma.
DAVIN had a dog & when she took her to obedience school---They told her not to worry if she didn't graduate HEAD OF THE CLASS!
ho!--1st time I took her for a walk--opened door & she pulled me at least 50 ft---scratched arm too!---BUT--we all loved CAPON!!--
BEAUTIFUL SHEEP DOG!--
SHIRLEY---I meant to say I know what you mean--when you were talking about the wash on the line----ho!---But I got carried away with CAPON'S story---He was exactly like your dog!!---We never forget them do we?
I checked on LILY BEAR!---She is SNORING & LITTLE HOPE--- is making sharp noises now & then--but LILY SNORES ON!!---ho!--
