Good morning all. Now I have to go to IHOP for Swedish pancakes. I pretty much think lib and Belle are aroudn there nest area quite a lot now on a regular basis. Look how much we did see them when we did have a cam to watch. I am sure they will check in for all of you the weekend of open house. If you don't mind getting up a little before the roosters just be there before sunrise. I would almost stake my life on the fact that you would be in for a treat.

That clouded leopard has found itself a nice sunny spot. Its colors are so beautiful.
The sun is shining on the red leaves at the top of the tree across the street (in the northerner neighbor's yard). If he knew I enjoyed it, he would probably cut it down.

ATLANTA CAM is experiencing problems----they are working on it!!
Norma, I am 8 miles from the river, but where we are going today is 35 miles away. I will have to get wet feet, JO, that is the only way to get in the boat! We wear life jackets on the river, flying carp are a concern, although I don't think they would jump in a kayak. Maybe jump at it though.

On one of the DC panda cams (they keep switching back and forth) one of the pandas in laying on the concrete. On its stomach with its hind legs all spread out.. lol
RED, hope you enjoyed your coffee with your Buddies. Did you eat anything? I really messed my diet up....I shreaded Colby chees all over my potatoes. It was worth it, so good! I'll work it off by vacuuming when I have my next break.

Last evening Lun Lun was away from the cub for over 1 hour and 20 minutes. With the exception of a few soft vocalizations when she first left him, the cub was quiet and slept peacefully for the entire period of separation. Lun Lun spent most of her respite simply having some “me time." Those of us who have had children understand the call for an uninterrupted nap, a visit to the bathroom without an escort, or a quiet meal alone.
On Monday afternoon while Lun Lun was enjoying a meal, the cub weighed in at 1409.5 grams, a gain of 41.4 grams since Sunday.
