Sandi & Denny, Happy Anniversary! Enjoy your evening celebration!
We've had a HOT one here today! It was 99 here, and we've lost our ocean breeze, so it's pretty still outside. Yuck! Supposed to be at least 100 tomorrow and Sunday, slightly less than that Monday, and finally 82 is forecast for Tuesday. Can't wait until then!
I started giving Emma an even shorter haircut last night. Cutting the hair on her legs much shorter. Hope it helps! The trick is getting her to hold still! She's a wiggle worm.
Well, need to water a couple of patio plants in pots. They look like they're gasping out there. Need to make a house payment, too. Will try to check back here later tonight. Have a good evening, or what's left of it. I ♥ us!
Went out to dinner and a movie with Val, Julie, and Doris tonight. I had gotten confused and thought we were going out tomorrow night. We went to the Library of Congress movie theater in Culpeper and saw The Vikings, a movie from 1958. It was very good, as was dinner at the Lake of the Woods Clubhouse.
Hope everyone has had a good day.SED, everyone. :)
Judy, glad to hear you are feeling a little better; hope the same is true for Jo today.
It's 60 degrees again this morning with a high forecast for around 80 again today. My Delmarva Power bill should look nice next month.
I think many Maryland teachers return to work next Monday and schools start on 8/24 - Worcester & Wicomico Counties here on the Eastern Shore probably are a week later. I still have 2 more weeks off - not gloating, just saying.
Thanks for all of the anniversary wishes. Dinner last night was good and the weather for being on the boat was perfect.
Today is the last full day for Rebecca and Jacob - I think we'll probably do the beach one last time. When this week's tourists leave today and tomorrow, we should see a difference in the number coming into town for next week.
Just read this in an article about support for earlier Windows operating systems: "Mainstream Support for Windows Vista would have run out in April of this year. Support for all users has now been extended through to 2017. Windows 7 was originally looking at a Mainstream Support end-date of 2015. All users can now expect support to last through to 2020."
I have been familiarizing myself with Windows 10 on the property owners laptop that I upgraded and have become pretty used to it. Denny has been running Windows 10 for about a month now and notices very few changes from Windows 8. I haven't created a Microsoft account which keeps Cortana from finding out everything there is to know about me and that's just fine by me. I also haven't been using the new browser that comes with Windows 10 - Microsoft Edge. I've continued to use Firefox. I'm thinking I may pull the trigger before long and upgrade my primary laptop.
Sandi, so glad you had a lovely evening for your anniversary, very happy Shirley enjoyed a movie and dinner out, that JudyE is finally feeling better, and Andy is also feeling.
Hope that Jo is feeling better and thinking of her.
Thinking of Glo and her furbabies.
Was checking a view cams and the osprey babes are about to depart - mom began migration a week or two ago. Larry reported on the loon blog that the resident male has died which is very sad. Out nest is empty except for some sunshine.
Scullery duty today. Prep work for into Monday. Weather here is going to be humid again and I do not like cooking in oppressive weather.
Wishing everyone a beauteous day wherever and whatever is on the agenda.
Will be off to practice bowling with my friends soon.
That's very sad about the male loon, Judie. He was certainly a good parent earlier this summer when his mate decided to take off and leave the responsibility to him.
Finally got to read back a bit, and enjoyed all of the comments about Vince and the refrigerators. I don't know how serious he and Susan are about their relationship at this point. This weekend, they're off on another backpacking trip. They are having fun being young and active.
Susan did go over to his house to take care of some cleaning/tidying before Chris and Maeghen arrived. I do know that, between the two of them, Susan and Vince have seven cats. And, I will have to say, that, even though Susan has a pretty traditional set-up in her apartment, she does have five chinchillas living in her dining room. And, she has a stack of seven cat carriers in the corner of the room. However, everything is very neat and tidy, and, since it is an apartment, she does not have much storage space elsewhere. It is a good thing she even has a dining room.
I was especially looking for Sandi's post about Brian's family in Mexico. I do hope they can find more satisfactory accommodations down there, but I am sure they will adjust as necessary. They are young and active, too. Having a baby complicates things, but she's going to have a fantastic childhood with all of these adventures.
Yes, Susan does a very good job at keeping things neat and tidy. I had mentioned that she must surely be exceeding the number of pets she's supposed to have in her apartment, and she agreed, but she knows she is providing an excellent life for these fur children.
Hmm, one of my pencils is being killed by Smokey. Good grief, she ate the eraser before I could stop her.
Here is the link to the Library of Congress movie theater in Culpeper. It is a very pretty theater. Movies are free. Security is pretty tight there. You have to go through a metal detector and have your purse scanned.
JUDY, glad you got some good sleep--it's the best remedy for many ailments.
SHIRLEY, loved hearing about your Gal Pal evening! What fun! Susan's and Vince's menagerie is pretty amazing. Glad there are people who can and will give their all for needy animals.
JO, hope you're up to snuff and feeling like spending more time here today!
JUDIE, thanks for the osprey nest update. Wildlife reality is often sad.
SANDI, enjoy the last day with your company. I imagine Bethany is "jumpin" over such holidays as the one coming up.
STEVE, a belated shout out to you for the new thread. Have a great weekend.
This will be the last Sat/Sun time together for Seth n' me. Next weekend he's off to OU. Next Fri-Mon we'll enjoy the company of Eileen, in from MI and my DIL, Beth and granddaughter, Lauren, in from NJ. A good weekend for "the girls"!
Meantime, it's a matter of surviving the Dog Days of Summer---I'm looking forward to my favorite Season, Autumn!
Prayers for all in need and for our Eagle Family of 2015!
Good afternoon to all ♥ My sleep was a bit interrupted with coughing. I'm sure I'll need a nap this afternoon. Too hot out there for any plans even though my VA family is in town.
There are bike (peddle kind) events in Frederick. Grandson-in-low has a team on the 100 mile ride which started at 6:30am. It benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs in Frederick. My granddaughter and their 3 oldest children are manning one of the check points of the race.
Shirley - When you started bowling I bet you never guessed that you would have such fantastic galfriends or that you would become so active with things to do with them. ♥
Sandi - happy you had a good dinner on the boat for your anniversary.
Andy - I was so glad to read the information about Ken's pacemaker and also that you are feeling well.
Kay - enjoy your time with Seth. My grandson is a senior this year and is moving in to his apartment today. He did take 2 summer courses to lighten his credit load for this year. His feelings about his senior year - it is scary since I'm not sure what it is I want to do with my life once I graduate.
My first born granddaughter had a birthday yesterday - 37 years old. Now that makes me so happy to be here to send her birthday wishes.
Lunch is finished so my feet are going up ................ BBL
Judy - Sleep and water are sometimes the best to help cure - I'll be so glad when this cough disappears.
Janet - my body won't let me sleep until 10 - Bummer.
We have a new kitten. A tortie. Kathryn and Hunter adopted her through a cat rescue group at Pet Smart. Right now, her name is Allie. Kathryn said that of all of the kitties they've looked at, Allie is the first one who really spoke to her.
There has been a lot of hissing and back-arching. I probably would have done the introductions a bit more gradually, but these kitties are very young, so I think they will be okay. And Allie is getting to eat her dinner in the crate she came home in. Allie does think that Luna is something to be feared and hissed at.
Well I'm calling it a day SED ♥AOYP See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Shirley, hopefully little Allie and Smokey will adjust to each and become the best of friends very quickly. Poor Luna. She must truly wonder about the seeming invasion of purring housemates. Congratulations. I predict more typing assistance for you. As for daddy loon, yes, he was the hero.
Janet, sounds as if you and yours had a productive weekend. Lots accomplished including extra sleep.
Jo, how did the race turn out? Congrats to granddaughter, grandson-in-law, and the grand kids on their participation.
Kay, a bit late but do hope you and Seth are having a great time together. He may be headed back to campus but he'll be back quickly to see you.
For those still not feeling well, please get as much rest as possible.
Sandperson is slamming around headed for the chariot.
Well I found a Hallmark movie this evening that was new to me - very enjoyable.
Congrats Shirley on the newest furbaby - I hope they bond as Smokey probably feels like her space has been invaded! They should do well as long as Luna keeps them in toe.
Judie - not a race - a benefit ride. I'm sure all went well - I won't hear from them until sometime tomorrow - they are spending the night here in Frederick as there are more events tomorrow. It was a 3 day affair.
Judy - the still cam is absolutely NOT working - it is after 11pm and the cam still has daylight.
Glad you enjoyed your Hallmark movie, Jo. Hope that still cam gets fixed tomorrow.
So good that you and Seth had some time together, Kay. I know you'll miss him. He really sounds like a great kid.
Virginia is supposed to be here on Monday. She is scheduled to do another book presentation at the library on Tuesday. This is one of her fiction books.
Smokey is definitely jealous. She was very close to her sister, but then adjusted and had become very loving towards us and has been snuggling with Luna. Now she has to adjust back to having another kitten around. Allie is just four days older than Smokey and a bit larger.
Judy, glad to hear that you got lots of sleep and are feeling better. That cold has got to scram!
Your cold had better make a fast exit too, Mema Jo! Hope no coughing interrupts your rest tonight!
Shirley, congratulations are in order for the addition of another kitten to the household! Hope the little rascal fits in well and quickly.
I'm very sorry to hear about the daddy loon. He was indeed a hero when mama loon left him high and dry.
Boy, we had a real scorcher here today--102! Expecting the same tomorrow. Didn't do much of anything except try to nap our way through it. We did go and walk the mall as usual this morning, though. I need to cook more chicken and rice for Emma tonight, but I'm waiting for the kitchen to cool down more. It's still 90 in there! I must say, though, that it actually seemed a little cooler than it was yesterday, though the numbers don't prove it. Maybe there was less humidity. There are several brush fires, though nowhere near us, and the air quality is hurting because of them. May have to do a rain dance!
Well, better go check on Emma. Have been giving her lots of attention today, and making sure she is staying cool enough. Sweet dreams, God bless, and goodnight. I ♥ us!
Jo, hope you got a cough=free sleep last night and are feeling better today.
Shirley, congrats on the new addition - what were Allie's sleeping arrangements last night? I hope Virginia has a better book talk experience this time.
We ended up taking Jacob out on the boat for an afternoon of riding on the inner tube - Rebecca had a rash on her chest from too much sun and wanted to avoid the beach. He had a blast - said it was the best day of their vacation. Rebecca packed in the evening and they drove up to the beach near sunset for a final look at the ocean. They will be leaving today in the early afternoon to catch their flight at BWI this evening. It has been a nice visit with them and a great vacation for both of them, but I'm ready to have the house back to myself for the last 2 weeks of my summer.
Hope your night was a good one, Jo. No coughing and plenty of refreshing sleep.
Allie slept in Kathryn's room, and Smokey slept in Hunter's room last night. Luna slept in my room. A pet for each of us. I heard a commotion after Hunter, Kathryn and the kitties had settled down. I went downstairs to find Luna pushing around the kitty carrier trying to get at the cat food that was in there. After I removed the food, Luna was content to join me in my room.
More kitty fussing this morning, but it is a combination of Do I want to hiss at you or do I want to play with you?
Sunshine and blue sky are lovely. Humidity is not lovely and is welcome to depart immediately.
Jo, misunderstood. Hope the bike ride benefit was successful. Also hope you had a cough-free sleep last night.
JudyE, if you don't feel much better, maybe a doctor is needed? Hope you do feel better, though.
Sandi, it should be nice to have a couple of weeks of relative calm before the school year begins but so glad Rebecca and Jacob had such an enjoyable time making great memories.
Andy, do try to stay cool in all that heat. How's Kubby? Is tomorrow the pacemaker day? Wish him our best. Is your area having any consequences from all the fires? Smoke moving down the coast? So sad to know of so much destruction of forest and I always feel especially sad for the wildlife. Take care.
Shirley, wishing Virginia another pleasant visit with you and that the book presentation goes exceptionally well and she sells many copies of the book. Please remind me the title. It seems that Smokey and Allie will make friends quickly and soon be a team.
Good morning! Have been busy. This evening Camp Hawkwood begins. Keeping a positive attitude toward the week and hoping Jacob has a better attitude! It is going to be a short week and we have something planned for each day. Also, have some things for him to do here at home. Cute shirts are ready, too. Made them yesterday!
It was 72 yesterday morning and 68 this morning. Loving it. High temps in the mid 90's. I may survive August!
We are about to break records for longest period of time with no rain. Crazy!
We have decided to head to Colorado late Sept for a week or so. It has been an expensive year so decided not to make it a long road trip. We will just head to the mountains, park the trailer and enjoy the view. Miss Skippita will go with us!
Keep us posted, Shirley, on the kitties! I sometimes we had brought home two.
Judie, this book is Secrets at Abbott House. It is the third in a series of mystery stories called the Sandra Troux Mysteries by Crystal Sharpe, a pen name used by Virginia Cornue and Linda M. Lombri.
Hope that your visit with Jacob goes well, Lolly, and that you have a pleasant trip to Colorado.
I had to break up a kitty fight earlier this morning. I think it would be a good idea to keep them separated for awhile. Cannot imagine what must be going through Luna's head, but she might be thinking that she is just as happy that the kitties have each other to attack rather than playing "pounce on Luna."
On lunch Went to chef out the yard sale at Quaker state restraunt Didn't find Angie so came back As I was walking to my truck she saw me. And I didn't hear her I told her I called both their cell No answer. And walked around three time and gave up
CONGRATS STRONGHUNTER on the new furry addition! I bet they will work out their squabbles in now time!
SIS: how ya feeling today?
Seeing a lazy day ahead. Well not completely. Slept in. Tom and I went out last night. May work on painting some rocks. Supposed to go see Mia play soccer this evening, but it sure looks like rain.
Yesterday I pulled weeds from the one flowerbed that needed it. I might work on that? Hope everyone has a super day no matter what you do. Will check in later! ‘ HUGS
MICHAEL GOT MARRIED?? Where the heck did I miss that announcement! Congrats on your new DIL, Jo!
Oh my, new kitten chaos. What fun!
Prayers for quick and successful surgery for KEN tomorrow, Andy! Geez O WHIZ that is crazy hot weather you are having! I sure hope there will be NO brushfires anywhere near you....
Looking forward to seeing pictures from Camp Hawkwood! Hope you get some rain soon Lolly. It's pretty sad looking in these parts with grass turning brown. We haven't had too much in the past month.
Glad you are better now Judy!
Wow Kay, seems too soon for Seth to be heading back to school, but I sure hope you had a great weekend! I got the email about the wild donkeys you sent but haven't read it through yet...but I will!
Sandi, glad you had a good time with your company and that you'll have a couple of weeks alone again with Denny.
Judie, glad you mentioned the osprey mom heading for winter home. I hadn't realized it was getting to be that time again. All signs are surely pointing to the end of summer!
Well, as most of you that are on Facebook know, the barn animals here have a new home. Today was "moving" day.
The new boss didn't bother to contact me directly about them leaving. He also doesn't return my calls. This is annoying. After all, I am the one who has been taking care of them and know them. The resulting fuster cluck could easily have been avoided this morning had he bothered to ask ME the best way handle it. Instead we had 4 people chasing 2 pigs on the loose for half an hour. They were actually planning on putting ALL FOUR animals in the 2 horse trailer which I would have told them was not going to work because the donks are scared to death of the pigs! So THEY finally figured out that they were not getting the pigs on board the way they tried, and that all four were not going together. So the donkeys are gone, and the pigs will picked up at a later date. They decided against coming back today because it was getting really hot. Secretly, I was laughing my A$$ over the pig fiasco! But my donks did me proud! They went into the trailer with very little fuss! I hope the trip didn't stress them too much, I can't even imagine how scared they must be....
But I feel pretty good about the gal who is taking them. Her name is Denise and she is the sister of Dr. B's racehorse farm manager. She seemed really nice and I like they was she was talking to the critters and trying to soothe them. She took my email address and said she'd send pictures, and I really hope she does.
Rebecca and Jacob have departed for the airport - the house is quiet except for the sound of the washer and dryer doing the sheets and towels.
Lynne2, I'm so sorry that you are losing your farm animals but am relieved to hear that you got a favorable first impression of their new owner. Does she live close enough by that you could visit? When Brian and Lynnis were living in Africa and Posey & Sir Bryan were being boarded at PIGS in Shepherdstown, they would visit the animals when they came home for R&R. Posey never seemed too impressed by them coming to visit until they let her smell the Dunkin Munchkins they brought. But Lynnis said that she could call Sir Bryan and he would come running from the far end of the field at the sound of her voice and would rest his furry nose on her shoulder and nuzzle her while she hugged him. I bet Wesley and Buttercup would be delighted to see you every once in a while.
Lolly, I hope Camp Hawkwood is a great success - it sounds like you have a solid plan to keep Jacob busy. When does school start for Joseph, Jacob and Zach?
Shirley, Lynnis emailed me that they took a tour of the outside of the building they will be living in once they are able to get out of temporary housing. It's still a highrise but the street is tree lined so there is grass for the dogs to do their business. There is also a playground as an amenity of the building, as well as an indoor pool and a fitness center. She thinks they will be much happier once they get there. Lynnis says she continues to be impressed by how polite the people are - always helping her with the stroller or giving up their seat for her on the bus b/c she has a child. She also said little children are fascinated by Freyja's blonde hair - they come up to her gently and pet her head! :) Brian was away traveling this past week and Lynnis is doing her best to get out and about, even without a car.
Shirley, checked the library system up this way and none have Virginia's books. Will try a Barnes & Noble soon. How are the furbabies this afternoon? Very important also is how is Luna?
Lynne2, I would be very sad to see the donkeys and pigs leave but would also be overjoyed if they get the care they need to have good health and a happy place to live. Visits would be wonderful, I think.
Sandi, quiet can be a nice thing. Glad that Lynnis is making adjustments and that there will be a grass commode for the critters and a playground for Freyja. Not surprised that the children are fascinated by Freyja's blonde hair. She is going to be a star attraction for some time to come.
Hope those who are fighting colds and tiredness are feeling better today.
Made a stop at the farmer's market. Tomatoes and peaches. Staying in away from the heat.
Boy oh boy! I have been AWOL This morning hours were with my daughter Jenny and then this afternoon/dinner was with granddaughter and 3 great granddaughters.
I did have a restful night's sleep - I guess my meds are finally kicking in. Judy just like you this cough has some of my ribs aching.
As usually, if I am lucky I can find a Hallmark movie that is new to me...one should start at nine. So there is my evening entertainment. I'll be happier whenever the new shows start - I guess in September.
No plans for this week so far. Be nice to have a full week without appointments!
Going to relax (play solitaire) for a while. Enjoy your evening friends !
JO, JO, wherefore art thou, JO? Hope your absence means a good time is being had by the Lennox family!
SANDI, you and Denny are super hosts, but I'm glad you're getting a little time to yourselves as summer comes to a close--and before you report to the new job. Lynnis is a trouper. The home they'll soon enjoy sounds great!
JUDIE, homegrown tomatoes and peaches, my mouth is watering!
LYNNE2, I guess the new owner revealed the kind of boss he'll be. How thoughtless that whole situation was! Hoping the animals will thrive, however, and I'm kinda glad your work and worries have been lessened a bunch!
SHIRLEY, those kittens will make peace as one of them establishes dominance and the other decides to accept it! Quite a dance they're doing right now. Luna is a dear to put up with the little imps!
ANDY, hope youse guys get some relief from the heat soon and LOLLY, hope Mother Nature sees fit to send more rain your way soon.
Had a great weekend with Seth and now switching gears for a "girlie weekend" coming up. Two daughters, a beloved daughter-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter to enjoy makes this heart of mine very happy!
Aha, there you are, JO! So good to see I was right---there was much Lennox family fun going on! So glad you've no appointments this week. That doesn't happen very often. Enjoy!!!
Good Sunday evening. Time sure can fly. It's been a busy but good weekend. Gosh new kittens, missing donkeys but hopefully in a good home. Lynne I think in time your new boss will settle down and get to know the staff just fine I bet he was ticked off at the mess he was left. I hope you can visit BUT I am definitely glad if those donkeys are where they can be fed and cared for.
MeMa Jo I am glad you got some good rest.
Becky goes back to school tomorrow. I hope she will pace herself. I know she is really glad to be heading back to "her kids".
Got lots of photos to be taking care of from this weekend. Have a restufl night everyone and hopefully a good upcoming week for all.
Shirley, thank you. I will look online tomorrow for Virginia's books. I love mysteries. Thank her in advance for me, please. Hope the evening will be quiet and all critters find companions for the sleeping hours.
Jo, glad you found a new Hallmark. Only a few more days before some new PBS programs arrive for our viewing pleasure.
Kay, can't wait for you to find a few minutes to keep us posted on the wonderful times with daughters and daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Give a momster send off to Seth for us.
Glo, how are the critters? How's Zoey doing now? All good wishes for Becky as she returns to school and for complete healing.
Sandperson is packing and will be departing soon. I am headed to the pillows before I get a face full of sleepy dust.
Good Very Early Morning, Eagle Buds!!! Sleep is alluding me---Sandperson was stingy on the trip through here.
Didja tot u taw a putty tat, SHIRLEY? Aren't kittens more fun than a barrel of monkeys?
JUDIE, I'll try to check in now and then when The Girls are here. I'm so excited for I've not seen Beth and Lauren since May of 14' last year. Lauren is leaving for a year at London University soon as she seeks her Masters Degree in Art History. There's a long haul ahead before she achieves her dream of becoming a museum curator, but I've no doubt she'll realize that dream. Beth, a political science prof at Rutgers, takes the reins as dept. chair in a couple of weeks. I'm so proud of them!
ANDY, looks like Lauren got out L.A. just in time to miss the scorching sun. She was at Pitzer U. in Claremont for four years and employed by L.A. County Museum of Art for the last two years. She loves CA and will perhaps end up there again some day. Stay hydrated and cool and make sure Kubby and Emma do, too!
Guess I'll go in search of some news stories and then give the zzz's another try.
morning to all. it is foggy and rainy here. we need the rain and it is august, so I am not complaining.
busier day ahead than I would like. livvy's allergy shot. she wants to join the gym today. and I have a staff meeting at massage envy from 1 to 3. going in @ 12 to help the boss set up.
went to soccer last night. 2 games. they won the first, lost the 2nd. then we grabbed dinner at a Mexican place. very tasty.
JUDYE: glad you are doing better.
LYNNE2: dear sweet friend, my heart aches for you and those furry babies. I have read somewhere, (a bookof course) that since animals are more adept at reading energy than we are, (we think too much) that simply thinking specifically of them and sending them calming energy and love can help....sure can't hurt!
STRONGHUNTER: watching kittens fuss and play can be delightful. enjoy!
I keep telling myself this is a day off; but sure doesn't feel like it! I guess the staff meeting??? we only have one a year so I can't complain.....used to be quarterly. (which in our profession is ridiculous!) but still feeling lazy today.
I froze two more pint bags of tomatoes yesterday. I have at least one more out there if no one claims tomatoes. I can only eat so many at a time!

Thanks for the call over JudyE.
And thank you for the new thread Steve.
Thank you Steve for the fresh Friday thread to begin the weekend.
Congrats to JudyE on another feather. Wear it happily.
Foraging was completed. Dinner has been consumed. Scullery is restored to order.
Headed to put my feet up while Sandperson packs a satchel. Meanwhile...
Restful sleep for all.
Hi, Gang,
Thank you for the new thread, Steve!

I haven't been on much today - I am ready now to hit the sack!
Thanks Steve for the fresh Friday thread - I'll be sure to use it well tomorrow

Good Morning Eagle buds
feeling somewhat better this am I think sleeping so so much may have helped
Goodorming my eagle friends.
Have agreat day all.
Just read this in an article about support for earlier Windows operating systems:

Good morning,
Will be off to practice bowling with my friends soon.
Um Shirley? Neat and tidy is a good thing. Have fun at bowling practice.
Hi Judie!
BBL. Must get ready to bowl.

Here is the link to the Library of Congress movie theater in Culpeper. It is a very pretty theater. Movies are free. Security is pretty tight there. You have to go through a metal detector and have your purse scanned.
Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!

Hello on lunch 1237 punch time
Good afternoon to all ♥
My sleep was a bit interrupted with coughing.
Janet - my body won't let me sleep until 10 - Bummer.
good afternoon all.
slept til 9. it felt good. I could have snoozed another hour, but determined I probably should get up.
by 10 I was outside. I had a small flowerbed that needed weeding and some outdoor chores. tom burned out a stump. I was very quickly hot and sweaty.
tom worked on the downstairs bathroom...getting the trim fixed so niki can paint it.
and I upgraded my computer to windows 10. so far so good.
we had a thunder shower come thru. I am very glad as we needed some rain. august tends to be very dry.
tom and I are having date night. looking forward to going out for a bit tonight.
everyone have a great evening. !
still cam is back up but I don't think it is current in the live feed I have shadows but not in the still image
Hi,
We have a new kitten.
Allie does think that Luna is something to be feared and hissed at.
congrats on the new addition SHIRLEY
Well I'm calling it a day

Good almost time to dent the pillows.
Restful sleep for all.
Well I found a Hallmark movie this evening that was new to me - very enjoyable.
Congrats Shirley on the newest furbaby - I hope they bond as Smokey probably feels like
her space has been invaded! They should do well as long as Luna keeps them in toe.
Judie - not a race - a benefit ride. I'm sure all went well - I won't hear from them
until sometime tomorrow - they are spending the night here in Frederick as there are more events tomorrow. It was a 3 day affair.
Judy - the still cam is absolutely NOT working - it is after 11pm and the cam still has
daylight.
Goodnight to all ♥
Glad you enjoyed your Hallmark movie, Jo.
Time for me to turn off the light.
Wishing everyone a good night's sleep. SED, my friends.
Hi, Everyone,
Judy, glad to hear that you got lots of sleep and are feeling better.
I ♥ us!
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDS
Goodorming my eagle friends.
Judy, I hope you are continuing to feel better.
Have agreat day all.
Have agreat day all.
Good morning,
Hope your night was a good one, Jo.
Good morning everyone.
Kay, hope you and Seth are enjoying the weekend.
Wishing everyone the best day possible.

HUGS
good afternoon all!
But boy...I am sure going to miss them.
Hi all.
Hope everyone is staying cool!
Later.
Good afternoon.
Boy oh boy! I have been AWOL
This morning hours were with my daughter Jenny and then this afternoon/dinner was with granddaughter and 3 great granddaughters.
I did have a restful night's sleep - I guess my meds are finally kicking in.
Judy just like you this cough has some of my ribs aching.
As usually, if I am lucky I can find a Hallmark movie that is new to me...one should
start at nine. So there is my evening entertainment. I'll be happier whenever the
new shows start - I guess in September.
No plans for this week so far. Be nice to have a full week without appointments!
Going to relax (play solitaire) for a while. Enjoy your evening friends !
Good Afternoon, Eagle Buds!!!
Prayers for all in need!!!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Judie, I found Virginia's books at Amazon.
Restful sleep for all.
Late evening - Hallmark movie was really good.
Time now to get another night's rest
Goodnight to All ♥
I hope you enjoy the books, Judie.
What movie, Jo?
I think there is a kitten under my bedside table. Or maybe under the bed.
SED, everyone.
Prayers for all in need!!!

Good Morning eagle buds
KAY Hope you are able to get some rest Have you ever done the sleepy time tea?
You will be needing a nap
Goodorming my eagle friends.
Kay, I hope you and Penny are sleeping soundly. Your upcoming weekend sounds wonderful! Good luck to Seth in his junior (?) year.
CarolAnne, how is your mom doing? How is rehab going for her - improvements in her memory?
Tennis for me this AM and at some point, I have to get to the grocery store.
Have agreat day all.
morning to all.
it is foggy and rainy here. we need the rain and it is august, so I am not complaining.
busier day ahead than I would like. livvy's allergy shot. she wants to join the gym today. and I have a staff meeting at massage envy from 1 to 3. going in @ 12 to help the boss set up.
went to soccer last night. 2 games. they won the first, lost the 2nd. then we grabbed dinner at a Mexican place.
I sure had a good crop this year!
hope everyone has a lovely day! hugs to all!
Good morning
