Really cannot see the eagle. Eagle is snow-covered, too.
Pouring rain here now. Having a cup of tea.
Belle and Shep both on the nest trying to protect the eggs.
He came in and snuggled up next to her.
Now he is sheltering her.
Tough night for our eagles.
I hear sleet here. About to turn to snow according to the map.

Goodorming my eagle friends. I see snow in the nest. It's doing something here - sounds like sleet (30 degrees outside) - but no snow yet. The whole state is shut down - state of emergency - but no weather event yet! No school for me - TODAY I WILL get the tax stuff organized. Lugged it all the way to Mom's and then didn't do anything with it.
Only 1 eagle sitting on eggs in a snowy nest - will have to check out Shirley's pics on FB of both in the nest during the night.
Lolly, are you and Jack still leaving today?

SNOW SNOW I see snow in the nest and our poor eagle in it
and on the news all the delays all over the US

SHIRLEY LOVED the pictures on facebook what a good daddy he was in the middle of the night
Just saw a second eagle land in the nest - actually, it looked like Belle so maybe they had already switched this AM. Both are there now - looks like one is covering the other - keepin' those eggs warm and dry! What a great pair!

Slept in a bit after the sleepless night.
Woke up to birds hollering at me because I did not put the feeders out last night.
Just got a glimpse of all three eggs. They're still there. I think that is Shep. Not sure.

Snow at the nest and snow here. Snow here is still heavy.
Looked like Belle eggsitting. Shep has become a good mate learning he needs to help protect Belle and the eggberts.
Don't see anything inappropriate on the blog. Shirley must have meant facebook.
If roads are still unsafe, hope Carolyn accepts Margy's offer. What fun - a sleep over.
