Name selection will be interesting and a Prez name does seem the most obvious. The holiday honors all past presidents now, I believe. The only one I can think of that might avoid any political party controversy is Ike. He seemed to soothe feathers as the first post WWII president. Oh, and then there is the great conservationist president Teddy Roosevelt. Just thinkin' out loud and will not get any more involved than this posting in the process ! ☺

We're headed for high 30's here today and right now it's an icky mess of slush on the streets and sidewalks. Still a lot of snow and ice to be seen. Just over 50" here this winter and 70" up around Lake Erie. Most since something like 1910.
Small birds flitting around. Thought that was making Shep nervous, but see that Belle was up in the NHZ. She must want her "seat" back, as he's now moving over.

Wow, Belle shook the whole tree when she flew down from an upper branch. Now settled in after having a good stretch I guess.

No visible action yet as of Tuesday morning.
The other day they posted picture of their egg cup - The Lord and Lady Blackwater are very neat nest eagles.
It was perfect and really really deep for those 3 eggs.
SHAR, thanks for that "hey there" back a little over an hour ago ! I was getting lonely and I took a break away to to tend to some household needs. Have had the sound up and could hear the wind a blowin' like a son of a gun ! It sounded like someone was outside my windows shoveling ice. Sunlight is pleasant there anyway.
Yes, JO, I know whatcha' mean re:presidential names---Pres would be good and steer of clear of one those "can o' worms" things ! I'll be happy with whatever the rest of you choose--I'm just going to revel in our having at least one eaglet and hopefully two or even three ! Prayer needed! Jack fell and cut his arm badly on sheet metal. He narrowly missed a major nerve, but needs surgery. If he survives I am going to shoot him! :). Hair just washed and no make up!

Tom went to an ENT doctor this morning because he fell the other day and broke his nose. They were working trying to get a CT scan precertified and found out the company he works for messed up his insurance. Hopefully they will get it straightened out before tomorrow. He may need surgery but won't know for sure until they do the CT scan.
SHAR, do tell SISSIE she and Tom have Momster prayers backing them up ! Hope all gets straightened out, including his nose ! We need to remind our Dadster's that we have a NO FALL rule !!!
JO, as one who toted 02 along for many little trips with Stan, I understand the reluctance. It's so nice that the newlyweds will have a celebration much closer to home !

Okay, they did not put him to sleep. They are discussing airplanes! Dr still working. Grossed even the nurses by watching his muscle work as he wiggled his fingers. I left for a while. Ate, fixed my hair and brought Jack different shoes. He did not like the way he looked. Lol. His outdoor shoes are gross.

Larry got his PET scan done today. Done with all the pre-op stuff.

Oh no PAULA I will be up for LARRY's surgery 6:00AM Eastern.
This is major surgery and the more of us lift him and his team up the higher the vibration the easier the healing.

I wanted to buy a new laptop bigger than this one and give the other to Jordyn to use for school work They have the desktop but when it rains can't hear it because of the tin roof and no insulation it will be hot and cold in that room But I would love to hang on to it for our upcoming vacation and I need a passport and that is a pretty penny from what I hear
I told them they were silly to put the puter in that room but they want to get a roof with insulation also eventually down the road

Lolly, so sorry to hear about Jack - glad they were able to stitch him up in the ER and send him home rather than admit him. Who knows, beer may work as well as tylenol for killing pain! :)

Home health care nurse came to see Mom today and Mom was honest about her amount of pain. The nurse called all of the info. in to a doctor at the hospice center who said they cannot try different pain meds with Mom living alone b/c of possible side effects. So Mom agreed to be admitted until they can get her on the right meds to lessen the pain. She has gotten settled in and has eaten dinner. I think this will be a big relief for Lisa.
I ate ice cream for dinner - figured I deserved it after my periodontist appointment today! Novocaine has worn off and my mouth feels fine. I go back in 3 weeks to have the other side worked on.
