Good Morning Eagle Buds !!!

HODA, hope you made it to the bottom of the split in good shape ! I love the sounds of that beautiful staycation spot and hope it works out for you !!!

6° here right now--no relief in sight, but kids did brave the elements with their 4WD and Seth and I had our usual Sat. evening together. He returns to college this afternoon and will no doubt be home many weekends during this 2nd semester.

Thanks again for filling my heart with great joy yesterday ! I love youse guys ! I heard from our dear Linda on our mutual day, by the way.

BBL, just you wait n' see.....

Goodorming Kay and all my eagle friends. It's cold outside ... AGAIN. Nuf said.

Nest is MT.

Lori, how goes the prep for the presentation?

Kay, glad Seth made it to see you one more time before heading back for semester 2.

Laurel Beth, glad you have the RV all Lollified, now when's the christening party and the first trip?

Shirley, did Kathryn & Hunter make it to Arundel Mills for Midievil Times last night? Many years ago, when both boys were very small, I went out somewhere while Denny watched the kids. When I got home, the boys were fine but the house looked like a bomb had gone off - it had only been a few hours. I asked Denny why he hadn't picked up any of the mess. he said, "Because you told me to watch the kids!" yes, you have to be VERY specific with boys!

Tennis for me this morning at 9am.

Have a great day all - stay warm!!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday Wishes to All....

Hoping little Jordyn gets well and warm, fast, JudyE....
Very happy that you saw and reported on the Royal Eagle Visit this morning, Thank You...

stronghunter said...

Good morning,

So nice to see you back, Linda. We have truly missed you.

Hope that Jordyn will recover quickly, Judy.

Kathryn and Hunter made it to Medieval Times last night. Hunter says it was "OK." Kathryn says he enjoyed it, but doesn't want to admit it. I've been several times with groups of high school kids. It was a regular trip for the senior honors classes, so I was perfectly happy to stay home.

I am being scolded by blue jays. I think they want more peanuts. Such noisy birds.

Hi Margy!!!

Happy Sunday to you!

HAPPY, HAPPY Late BIRTHDAYS TO KAY AND LINDA ☺ ☺ ☺

Yesterday was a stellar day for me too! First time in all year that I've seen any special wildlife at Park. I hadn't been there for 2 weeks. Was a crummy gray day, but we still had a juvie eagle sit near the office in AM. Then around 3:30pm, there was SUN!!!!! After work, I took a ride around the whole area and was happy to see some interesting sites! I wanted to get on blog last night and show some pics of my mini-adventure, but there were 44!, so editing continues.
Have a wonderful, sunny Sunday & I will be back. ☺

Lolly said...

Time for a quick goodorming and then off to church!

Welcome, Linda! You have been missed. We have some creative minds here....someone should give a quick review to Linda on the days of our momster's lives. LOL

JudyE, sending a prayer for Jordyn. Hope the dr. can offer quick relief.

Hoping for a peaceful day for Sandi's mom and Dana's mom.

Hi Lowreeda. Happy you're better and look forward to some pictures.

I am sooooooo jealous! I wanna go to Dutch's. Wonderful place. Jo, wishing Ed another terrific birthday celebration. Have fun.

Ah, the trailer is Lollified. Didn't take long to get the lolly treatment.

Margy, enjoy the day. Hope you don't get called in.

Hope Lori gives us a presentation update.

More coffee.

magpie said...

I'll say Dutch's, Judie!!!

Oh how grand that would be,

Heading out to grab up some James time.....I could get called in, but it would be much later in the day...
Expecting some snow showers hereabouts pretty soon!

Good morning my friends.
I’ve done nothing much this weekend.
I even slept in just cuz nothing in particular HAD to be done. And I felt lovely as I woke up.
THEN I got this text from Michael. And he is fine. He is in New Mexico doing laundry and showering. Said he misses me, misses home, etc. AND THEN, I heard dad say in my head “chin up” as I am missing my son and realized its dad’s 91st birthday. Didn’t the tears just roll on down. I am still misty, which isn’t helping the cold any. Nice and snotty now.
Why does raising children have to be so painful?
At least I am feeling human today.
I have accomplished nothing, but feel human.

JUDYE: hugs and healing for JORDYN> I remember being a kid, being sick and being that cold…thought I would never be warm again sometimes. Remember how mom used to rub me down with rubbing alcohol and cold cloths….
Not a lot going on. Hope everyone has a great day. Cold temps heading our way yet again. No snow though. A layer of pristine snow would most certainly be lovely….alas and alak, such is not the case! But we do have lovely lovely sunshine. I’ll take that.

Hugs, love, smiles to all

Best wishes for poor little Jordyn, JUDY---glad she's getting the meds now.

JO, that food sounds so very good ! Glad your family had a good get together !

LORETTA, thanks for the greetings ! I look forward to you photos when you get them sorted out.

LORI, where are you ? Practicing I'll bet. Good luck with the presentation. Like others have said, after all your years in radio you are a natural performer---it will be great !

MARGY, hope you don't get that call from work, so you can take it easy and rest up !

Hugh brought his Whovel over and cleared a path to my garage and those of two neighbors. Just in case. Hope I don't have to go anywhere because folks have been struggling to get up the little incline just east of my place. He and Seth then went on their way. They'll have to stop by on their way north for the dorm move in because Seth left a required reading book here. He's about 3/4 of the way through and will need to finish it soon.

Prayers for DANA and SANDI's moms, and prayers for all in need !!!

Good morning all.

Mild here again today.

Brain Dead Texas Paramedic was taken off life support two hours ago and her body was released to her family for funeral arrangements. Even the hospital agreed the fetus was not viable!!! So what was that about???

All the talk of snowy owl sightings makes me feel guilty!!!
Did I tell you all that I ate one!!!
Yes indeed in the 70's in the wilderness of Northern Canada!!! I had no idea they were on the endangered species list.

Now you know!!!

Off to yoga!
Tension this morning from Dragon Boat Team.
A member lost her husband.
A member is in danger of becoming homeless and sent out a distress message which I forwarded to the club.
Three members continue to spread their poison!!!
I am very sad!!!

Healing thoughts for all in need.

Unfortunately, she is having issues with the pain meds making her really dizzy. Not sure if she is still taking it during the day or just dealing with it until bedtime.

Can't see Belle and Shep now :( I think they are still there, just out of view.

I finally got pictures in the NOOK! I live for a good nature day!~~few and far between lately.
Please enjoy!

Well we finally also have repaired plumbing as of Saturday! Fubby had to call a pro with superior roto-rooter. Nice to use water again!
Now F got a cold, but we now know what to do & have all the meds!
Gonna have some coffee~~~~

Dinner over. Darth cooked Popeye's. He's a good cook.

Dana, earlier I mentioned your dad. I also meant to include your mom in my wishes for her to have a successful "blast" at the hospital. Take care.

Hoda, are there other dragon teams? Is there a leader who can quietly suggest a cease & desist? You don't need the agitation.

Loweeda, glad the plumbing is repaired but sorry Fubby has a cold. Quick recovery, please. Need to check out the Nook for pictures. Thank you.

JudyE, hoping Jordyn is already feeling better.

Jo, will be watching Downton Abby.

Hello all!

Loretta, thanks for sharing your pictures in the Nook. I could look at pictures of eagles all day long. And, that juvie is just beautiful all perched in the tree.

JudyE, hope Jordyn is feeling better now that she's got some meds in her. I've heard from a few who have had that flu that it's nasty. Poor little thing.

Jo, so happy you got to go to your favorite place, Dutch's! I know you had a great time with family & your favorite food.

LINDA! Welcome home, honey! It was so good to see you on here again, today.

Kay, I'm so relieved that Hugh and Julie's gang take such good care of you. More snow here tonight and tomorrow then it gets really cold again. Just brutal. Glad you and Penny can just stay inside and stay warm without having to go anywhere. Big hugs!

Hoda, I'm so excited for you about the house-sitting. I used to care for a friend's animals and house while they traveled. It was a huge place on a hill outside Santa Barbara - 10 acres and I had it all to myself with 12 long horn cattle, 3 dogs and lots of cats. She used to say she didn't care what I did or didn't do to the house, she just wanted to know that it was me caring for her pets.
AND, so sorry for your Dragon Boat teammate who lost her husband. Her world will never be the same. Prayers for her and her family.

Margie, hope you had a swell day with James. :)

Shirley, love the jousting place that I can't remember the name of now. lol. Nice that Hunter really did enjoy it.

Janet, hope you get to feeling better. Sorry you had a sad day, but happy to hear Michael is alive and well.

I finished the presentation/report today, but it's still too long. I made 2 posters for visuals and have one more to do. Also finished a Nutrition project - Diet Diary.
Tomorrow, Cindy and I report to the Wound Clinic, and we don't have to be there until 8:30! It'll be nice to grab some sleep.

Speaking of that, I'm making my way to the bedroom, yawning all the way.

Hi all!

Linda, welcome back to the blog!! Please check in more often - we miss you!!

Judy, sorry to hear that Jordyn has the flu - poor baby! Hope the meds work quickly!

Hoda, too bad about the Dragon Boat drama.

Lori, when is the presentation?

Dana, good luck to your mom tomorrow - hope they can blast that kidney stone and give her relief from her pain. Thankfully, I have never had a kidney stone but everyone who has says the pain is horrible.

Speaking of pain, not a good night for Mom last night and not a good day today. She's still having a lot of pain, even with the heavy duty pain meds. Plus, she still says she has no appetite. Hoping and praying that tonight and tomorrow are better.

Bath and then bedtime for me - ggodnight everyone!

Well, I really thought I would get back to the blog before now!

Shortly after church Jack and I went back to church and worked in the prayer garden. It was in bad need for attention. After that we worked in the trailer. Surprise! Then it was dinner time. Jack grilled steaks and with it I prepared potato risotto, and prosciutto wrapped asparagus. Yummy dinner!

Have also been watching recorded TV. Watched Sean and Catherines wedding. I am a sap when it comes to weddings!!

Would you believe it got hot today. Never looked at the thermometer but I am guessing 75. When learn on the news in a little bit.

Cold front arrives early in the morn and will not get out of the 30's tomorrow!

Jo has too great an influence. She says she headed to the pillows and I begin to do some serious yawning.

Watched Downton Abby. Enjoyed. Glad Bates knows what happened to Anna.

Have a good day tomorrow Lori. Safe travels. Congrats on the progress.

Dana and Sandi, prayers for both moms.

Margy, did you and James the Wise have a great adventure?

What? Oh good grief! Just hold on a minute! Sandperson is all in a dither trying to get into extra woolen clothes. Says he's going to be late and then catch he!! because my friends won't get to sleep. Okay, headed off to help.

Night light is on. Sandperson will depart soon. Restful sleep for all.

Good Monday morning!

It's freezing and very windy here. Just read the forecast and it says blizzard like, white out conditions with freezing rain that will be a FLASH freeze, then snow. Great, all the dangerous elements I hate being outside in. Glad it's not my week to drive. Cindy is much better than this than I am. Cindy and I both have assignments at the Wound Center from 8:30 - 4 today. I'm sure it will be slow (boring) with a lot of cancellations because of the weather. OOOOOOH, maybe they'll let us go home early. :)

It's blowing so hard outside the house creaks when there's a big gust. Cats are all in their custom Polar Vortex housing.

Janet, hope you're feeling better.

Sandi and Dana, prayers for your mothers for a pain free day. Sandi, check with the doc about the Megace appetite stimulater.
It's worked wonders on the 3 people I know who had to use it.

Lolly, bless you for taking care of the prayer garden. Your description of dinner last night makes me hungry!

Oh, the presentation materials, etc., are due tomorrow. I won't have to give it until mid - late Feb.

Hoda, good for you! I don't do drama either. Can't understand how people like to create it - selfish, I guess.

Kay, stay warm in your new coat and don't take any chances on ice.

Everyone remember the rule: No Falling!

Wishing a great, safe, warm day for everyone.
