Unbelievable amount of twigs and branches on the ground this morning from the wind last night. Have already been out cleaning up.

I was supposed to have my Jeep washed and waxed and shampooed and vacuumed and shined and spiffed up today. But it was drizzling as i drove to work this morning and the guy called school and said he didn't want to come an pick it up and clean it on a day when it might rain. I appreciated that! New date is Friday. It hasn't been cleaned inside and out (other than when it rains) in about 5 years! I take care of the engine but really am not vain at all about the body. As long as it5 gets me where I want to go, I'm good!
Lolly, stay safe - not sure I would be able to leave my home under those conditions and have a good time wherever I was going. I think I would just worry - that's why we didn't evacuate during the hurricane.

Windy day here. Got a lot done!
Meeting errands, ticket is paid. They laughed at City Hall as many were issued tickets for assuming that there is no need to feed the meters on Victoria Day weekend. Only Sunday and Monday not Saturday. I can not say it was my excuse though!!!
Thunder storms later tonight...after yoga...I bought some Arugula and some chervil. I love arugula in salads and the plant will grow. I do not know chervil but wanted to rescue it. I bought one and got one free and they were going to throw the chervil out...so I did rescue it.It needs lots of TLS and I started by fertilizing the earth in a pot and watered it well and then planted it in a bigger pot after loosening its roots. I hope it makes out alright...
OH C/A I agree with PAULA I am glad it was just the windshield. Glad son is alright. I had a deer attack my car once. It butted the side door as I drove rather slowly and she did not like the eye contact that happened. It surbvived I had a huge dent and went on my way!!!
Forestry told me to stop phoning as I was worried I had caused it some damage they went out looking for a week and did not find anything so they said it was safe to assume it was OK.

Laurel and Joseph 's classrooms are in the basement of the middle school. Jacob's classroom is not and do not know about Joey's.
Went to a winery, tasted, then sat outside with a glass. :). Back at the trailer now, getting ready to grill steaks. Talked with a neighbor. We just had a thunder storm and a little less than an inch of rain. C/A.... I am really worried about that rain stick! :). Working too well!

Have been working on a student's IEP all evening - DONE!! Thats 3 down (2 last week) and one more to go this week. next Tuesday I have 2 IEP meetings and Wednesday I have another 2. Then I will be finished writing IEPs for this school year!!! IEP writing is less time consuming than paper grading and lesson planning, but it still gets old!! And writing IEPs this late in the school year is torture!!
OK, off to soak in the bathtub and do a little reading! Goodnight all!!

good evening to all. had some nasty wind earlier today; anticipating some storms tonight. blach.
my oldest was driving home today and a gust of wind came up and blew a tree over in front of the car directly in front of her! its one of those first you say it then you do it moments....thankfully noone was hurt. the car in front of her did hit the tree (it went completely across the road)....but not a lot of damage....chelsea said she missed his bumper by about 2 inches.
on the other hand....i decided to take the wagon (ford focus wagon) thru the car wash and it popped the side mirror off my car! thankfully tom put it back on!
took seven to the vet...5.25 lbs of puppy!
i posted some pix on my blog...so if you want to check in, esp those not on face book, feel free.
hope everyone has had a good day...getting into a routine aroudn here again.....a new one with a puppy.....a very busy puppy! lol

Our big wind storm with rain added uprooted a tree four blocks away and it caused the power outage and I am not sure why the internet went out.
Both are back on now.
I went to a Peruviaqn Shamanic rituals of the Four Directions as part of the Yoga practice tonight. It was very powerful and the winds have died down. I am not taking credit that it was the action of our group or any thing like that. I just felt better.

Having a hot cup of tea. I am off honey!!! This is my third day and I am having withdrawal symptoms no question about it.It does not help that I have 3kg of honey sitting in the cuboard!!! I put it in the top shelf where I can not reach it till I get a step ladder. It is working three days and counting. My goal is to go for a month without honey!!! I do not use sugar and I will permit myslef maple syrup if I become desperate!!!
Want to say good night to everyone. Really time for me to call it quits for the evening. Guess the sandperson skipped Fredericksburg tonight.

Tomorrow 8 a.m. I have some cardio tests. Will not be home until sometime in the afternoon.

well, today and two more half days and olivia is out of school. and the great news is NO SUMMER SCHOOl for her!!!!! :) :) :)
she was so thrilled. she worked hard to make that happen. we have however, had to postpone the testing for learning disability as the psychologist got sick (strep throat). that will be next tuesday.
today is her student lead conference where she show cases her work for the 2nd quarter and the year that is at 11. chelsea will come with me as tom will be busy with the bus route.

Good morning my eagle budlets. Today is Justin's Baccalaureate service. Friday, June 7, is his graduation. I cannot believe it. Becky is having a surprise party for him on Saturday. Love that kid.

Lori, my health is pretty good. Still working to get my meds right for the narcolepsy. Right now I take 20 mg of Elavil a night and Provigil twice a day. Still getting really sleepy in the afternoon. He is hoping the increase in the Elavil will help me sleep better at night and not be so drowsy during the day. Last night, I didn't sleep worth a crap so we will see.
I was thinking that maybe Ashley could hire someone to come in and help. :-)

Do you remember my 2 dear friends who were trying to get pregnant and both went to fertility docs, oh about 10 months ago. Andrew Douglas Gordon was born on November 16 to my friend, Erin, in Bedford. Logan was born I think after midnight to my friend Kim (she used to live in my Nanny's house). God is good all the time!
I have had the oven on all morning. Starting to feel a little warmer now.
HP takes care of us always! I just have to move out of the way and let him.

A girl that Justin graduated with last year, Sheila "Coko" Hopkins, was found dead in her dorm room at the University of Charleston's Beckley campus. She was a basketball player. So sad. No idea what happened yet.

Prayer request for my brother, Ronnie. He had a hip replacement yesterday and is having a lot of pain and nausea today. :( Mommy blessed us with her bad hips. I love inherited stuff. :)
