Magpie, glad you liked the pictures.

The bear story bear was to be tested for rabies as it was totally unusual behavior.

Great Welcome Back gift for Jo - your feather.

magpie said...

I was kind of thinking that,
CarolAnne...about the bear...
let us know if you hear or read
anything else about it...

Mema Jo said...

Good Noon Hour to all.
You are sure to get a feather at this 11:12 or a minute before of after as the automated Blog is posted! Congrats Margy - you were right on time!
Hi CarolAnne!
Being away 4 days means I have a lot of reading to do and pictures to view
No double this will take TIME.....

I notice that our Juvies are at the 4-5:00 position on the n est. That is where in the past seasons the First Flight Launch Pad existed. Won't be too much longer.

Blackwater is about 1 or 2 weeks ahead of us. Talon is now flying. For those who are concerned about Talon when we don't see him, he sometimes sits on a branch just out of view. Lisa does has pix.

Off to my reading ......... ♥

Quick check in from school and I see we have a new thread!

C/A, very scary bear story! I agree that something must have been wrong with it b/c that behavior seems very uncharacteristic!

Beautiful day outside - too bad I'm inside!!

Will check in later!!

Sandi said...

No box to check until I posted once, so I need to post again - later all!

Hello everyone. In not ready for our eagles to leave!!! They need to slow down.

Judie said...

Good afternoon everyone.

Thank you Steve and Lolly.

Welcome home, Jo.

House is not going on the market. Just finally, after 27 years, getting around to making changes long overdue and will be needed when we do decide to move to Solomon's.

Well, today it's all about me. The cardiologist is amazing. She is nice and fun and has no problem saying: "Why did he put you on this freakin drug?" No wonder you have muscle weakness. So, there are many changes in medication, will have Thalium pictures done in a week plus a limited tread mill test. Need to cut back on items with sugar and carbs. So, all is good.

Need to get some things done around here this afternoon. Kennedy Center tonight: Showboat.

Margy, I saw three Kestrel bobble heads so don't know if the other two have hatched. Isla is still sitting. Bears are staking out their territories, RTH babes are really beginning to look like hawks, and our babes are at the original launch pad.

Getting on to say Adios Amigos!

Annie has gone to camp and we leave in an hour...last minute things to do.

C/A oh my, the bear story!! Really scary and yes not typical behavior, but bears are wild animals. Let us know if you hear it had rabies.

Gotta run! See you Sunday!

Judie said...

Noooooooooo! I will NOT enjoy healthy carbs! My "palate" only appreciates the good stuff -- you know, brownies, brownies with ice cream, brownies with whipped cream, brownies with birthday cake and ice cream...

Oh, and #1 Jimmy.

Scary bear story, CarolAnne. Sorry it happened.

Going to put my feet up, peruse the newspaper, stare at paint colors. BBL

CarolAnne said...

Hi all,
A bit of bear story follow up - a DNR official said it appeared to be a yearling male out on his own for the first time. Actions could have been caused by hunger. Late spring & very dry conditions have made their typical spring foods scarce.

Man attacked said he was angry at himself for letting his guard down & that he would be teaching his wife how to load & shoot a gun.

Rabies test results will take awhile.

CarolAnne said...

Oh and one other thing. The bear in our yard bypassed the bird seed feeder & the hummingbird feeder. . . but found the garbage can and littered the contents around. Ick!

stronghunter said...

Good afternoon!

Happy anniversary, Megan and Russ.

CarolAnne said...

DNR has already announced bear DID NOT have rabies.

Just a weird bear - pics showed him chewing on the garden hose & the man's hat.

Lori O. said...

Good afternoon, all!

Yes, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Russ & MEGAN! And, many more!

Lots of travelers this weekend. Safe travels to JANET, KAY and LOLLY and PAULA!

JUDIE, good news from the doc! Glad you're getting your meds straightened out. What changes are you making to your house?

C/A - scary bear story! Imagine!

I got my official notice, today, that I've been accepted to nursing school! My bank accounts will soon be depleted!

Also, getting ready to go down to Maryland tomorrow. I'll stay until probably the end of July and get in a little "HOME" time before I have to start school. I have a healthcare providers CPR class and orientation at the end of July, after that I'll probably go back to MD for a few weeks before the start of school.

Hope everyone has a great day!

CarolAnne said...

Congratulations Lori - we all knew you'd do it.

Sandi said...

Good afternoon - yay, it's my weekend!!!

Lori, best news of the day!! Congrats to you on making it into nursing school!! Of course, none of us are really surprised to hear that you were accepted!!

I see 2 eaglets, side by side, just checking out their world.

QUESTION : What are gas prices by you?
$3.95 in southern Wisconsin

Lynne2 said...

OUCH CarolAnne....that hurts! I paid $3.25 on Wednesday, up in PA. We are close to the line and when I have occasion to cross, I get gas. The gas taxes here are crazy.

How to tell when the gas prices go up...stock market up $3.52 in MD. Stock market down now, gas down to $3.45 this AM.

Good evening all, and beauty it is indeed!

Lynne2 said...

Dragging Andy over....

Ms Bookworm has left a new comment on the post "Wednesday":

Hi, Gang!
Gotta make myself presentable so I can go grossery shopping ASAP, but have a quick story to share:

Squirrel on small table out back eating seeds like a piggy... Cooper's hawk does a low fly-over, but decides mid-flight that our fat squirrel is too big to pick up and carry off. Flies to top of cinderblock wall. Squirrel keeps on eating, but flattens himself out like a furry pancake for a while. Local songbirds scold the hawk for about 5 minutes. Squirrel runs around all over the back lawn, leaving an interesting trail for Emma to find later! Note to self: better buy LARGE (20#) bag of bird seed this week!

OK, gotta run. Back later with another gripping tale about our goofy squirrel, "Rocky"! Prayers for all. I ♥ us!!!

Lynne2 said...

Trying to read back....

CarolAnne, wowser that is a scarey bear story. I hope they'll release the Rabies results to the public. There was a rabid black bear in Western MD a couple of years ago at our campground area.

Lynne2 said...

Judy, the dreams are about SOMETHING...Hoda will have some ideas on how to determine what and why, I think.

That would be cool if Angie gets to live closer to you!

JUDIE....dang, missed my guess! LOL! Glad you'll have some stress testing and changes in meds. I'm sure you will enjoy Showboat!

Lynne2 said...

oh, catching up....glad the bear wasn't rabid. I was thinking HUNGRY. The winter has been so bad up there. A rescue group I follow is having all kinds of birds migrating in and it's too cold for the bugs they need to eat. Loons are literally falling from the sky needing help, so much so they have been asking for the public to help rescue. So sad....

Lynne2 said...

oh, Judie, I've been put on WARNING about my bad carbs and sugar. Life will never be the same....I feel for you.

Lynne2 said...

of course, I cheated today. One of our clients brought us some death by chocolate decadence this afternoon....GRRRRRR!

PA Nana said...

Hooray for Lori! We had no doubt and you'll do well in school.

CarolAnne, that was a scary story. It was not normal behavior for black bears and hope all tests are normal. But, wouldn't they have to kill the bear to test it? Lynne2?

Best wishes and rapid recovery for Delphia. Had 2 myself and it wasn't as terrible as it sounded.

Welcome home, Jo.

Must tell you I have great neighbors. One brought me a hanging planter las night and tonight the other brought me a pretty pink geranium. I am blessed.

Wanda, having the same trouble as you. Can't read my mail from Internet Explorer and had to download Firefox and read the Comcast mail from there. Maybe that'll work for you with another provider. Let me know how it works for you.

Time to watch some tv. If I don't get back safe travels for those on the road and goodnight to all.

magpie said...

I also dream about
winning the powerball,
retiring,
normal kind of things like that ☺

Lynne2: some things are just
too irresistible...like that chocolate decadence thing you mentioned

But for example, I LOVE the oatmeal creme pies....but I had to put the skids on them (i.e. slow down my consumption) after
reading the Sugars in "just one," and
the very long list of chemical additives...
Home-made always takes precedence
over "store-bought"
Ice cream is just about a must...
small portion in a small bowl, and eat it with a small spoon!
Okay, enough about my personal
habits ☺

Lynne2 said...

I will have no sugar added ice cream on the weekends! Small portions, of course....

I won't eat or drink anything with sugar substitutes.

Have you noticed how we have more foodlike diets rather than actual FOOD? Changing that as well.

Lynne2 said...

Margy, can you get a short shepherd hook and hang a small feeder in your garden? If you hang it, they will come! Just use the slightly more expensive but oh so worth it sunflower seeds already shelled to avoid mess and too much on the ground.

Lynne2 said...

Hey, has anyone been in touch with Chrissy? There has been no emails from her on the momster emails, which is so strange considering it's ISLA season.....

I tried 2 emails I have for here but haven't gotten any response...

magpie said...

Lynne2:
I have not been in touch with Chrissy for a long time...
and of course, not on Facebook with anyone....

and about a feeder: I could hang one, BUT - that is how Mr. Squirrel made himself unwelcome in my apartment a few years back....he liked the sunflower seeds, and found a way into the apartment through an opening in an eave..it was pure HE%# for 18 months......
the best I could safely try is
a finch only feeder with the tee-tiny holes

at "the other place" I had lots of feeders, lot of birdy visitors, and
lots of fun !!!

magpie said...

and "gotcha" on the foodlike diets, not of interest to me...
I have gone to mostly organic
everything....a bit more expensive,
but "it's only me" to feed so
it's worth the cost and the effort
and I enjoy what I eat so much more now

CarolAnne said...

Yeah Delphia - amazing, surgery & leaving all in one day. Hope its the miracle she needed.

PA NANA - unfortunately the bear was killed. It charged the sheriff that came after they called to report the incident. The bear had spent about 30 minutes trying to get into their cottage after attacking the man, and roaming around the yard biting on things. No rabies but I 'm sure it gad some kind of problem.

Diets? - I 'm on the seafood diet. I SEE food & eat it.

C/A Sorry they shot the bear but it was scary indeed. I liked your pictures.

LORI PRECIOUS PRECIOUS LORI...Good on you! I am so proud of you and pleased for you and it is only money and it will build up again...
Congratulations.

Had a terrific day...one meeting that got a bit tense as one of the group was under som much stress she sobbed and we stopped the meeting and stayed present to her. Things are not going as well for her and some family issues came up and my oh my is she stressed. We will all have to do something to let her know that we have got her back...

Summer is coming and a lot of the volunteer things slow down and she will need to keep contact so she would not isolate with her problems.

HAPPY QUEEN VICTORIA DAY WEEKEND one and all...it is a long weekend here and the markets are in full swing and there is dancing in the streets.

Very happy to see WANDA on here. I miss her posts and I miss hearing about the soup kitchen. LOVE YOU WANDA.

MARGY that was very gracioius to gift JO with your feather. You have class lady.

Yoga class was good and I went for a long bike ride afterwards and feel really good. Beat the rain today.

Bird Girl said...

HELLO MOMSTERS AND DADSTERS!

Your very own Bird Girl here!

My surgery was a success, I was home the same night and this morning I feel pretty good - still hurts enough to take a percocet, but not anywhere close to what it did before!

This injury will slingshot me into an exercise program that is long overdue to strengthen my core muscles, and my family is going to do it with me so we will all be more likely to actually do the work.

I had a decompressive lumbar microlaminectomy. I ruptured the L5-S1 disc and the insides of the disc was pushing into my spinal column, compressing the nerves and causing excruciating pain. I've been able to lay only on my left side for about a month now. Last night, I lay on my right side and my back and it felt so wonderful!

I had been in a bit of a state of shock Thursday because that was the first time I'd seen the surgeon, and was expecting to have physical therapy for a while before even contemplating surgery. However, after a quick exam revealed I had no reflexes in my right achilles' tendon, and extreme pain barely raising my legs, and looking at my MRI, he said only surgery would fix the problem.

I was in imminent danger of becoming permanently incontinent (at only 40!), among other things. So when he said, TOMORROW, I wasn't prepared for the concept but I knew it was my only choice. Boy, am I glad I did! Modern medicine truly is amazing :))

I still have to take it really easy for a few weeks while everything heals and the nerves start functioning normally again; then I begin an exercise-ball program to strengthen my core muscles. I'm only allowed to walk on flat surfaces, and no stairs, right now, so that means wandering around and around my kitchen/living room and the deck, but I'll be able to go back to my mile walks with Lily in a month or so!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of your positive thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes. The Power of the Momsters is truly great! Thank you all for being my friends :)

As always, I remain
Your very own Bird Girl

Lori, congratulations! I am SO proud of you! I knew you could do it. You go, girl!!!

Lynne2, thanks for dragging my post over to this side. Didn't make it here last night, so must tell the other squirrel story:

A week or two ago, our squirrel was shoveling in bird seed on the small patio table, when a raven (probably one of the two now nesting in our big tree) came down to check out the birdy fare. They both ended up on the table in a sort of "Mexican standoff." Neither one was particularly fearful of the other, although they both seemed a bit cautious. Pretty amusing! (The squirrel lives in the front yard under our big Lantana bush. He runs from there to the back yard to shovel in birdseed.)

I was extremely happy to hear that Delphia's surgery went so well! Prayers for a SPEEDY and complete recovery!

CarolAnne, that bear story really had me going! Glad to hear that the bear did not have rabies!

Hoda, wishing you a fabulous day paddling the Dragon boat and doing your many other pursuits--how do you manage to do SO much in one day?! I think I need a class in time management or something!

Judie, I'm glad you like your new doctor, and will have some major adjustment to your meds. Will be thinking of you next week, as you have the tests.

Well, need to go get some things done around here, so will say bye for now. Wishing everyone a spectacular weekend!

Sounds like food was just delivered. Both eaglets started peeping, then Belle arrived and one eaglet immediately grabbed whatever she brought in. Still can't see it but it appears to be edible.

Lori, glad to hear that your dad is doing well enough that you feel comfortable going home for a few months.

Delphia, wonderful news about your surgery being so successful - and in and out of the hospital in one day!!?? Terrific!!

Whatever was brought in looks furry, not scaly.

Back to work for me!

magpie said...

Yes it does.
look furry.

magpie said...

Whew, Delphia....Wow,
talk about being taken by surprised and saying YES to "tomorrow" !!

Hope recovery goes superbly smoothly and you can do all your favorite things and be in your favorite places in no time flat !

Hello.friends!

It's been a busy couple of days...we are finally Boston bound. We are taking a duck tour of the city when we arrive and will also go to QUINCY market. Tonight we have a motel in PLYMOUTH and will see plymouth rock in the morning before we head to the Cape.

Will try and read back now while I have time

Love and hugs to all

Saw Birdgirl was doing much better!

Wheeeee
Nice report, Paula...

weather for the week-end...
sounds like you are having a real nice time !

Back with food for a few days.

Hope the weather stayed reasonable for Vincent's birthday party.

Delphia, I had the same area ruptured in 2007. Difference is I suffered that pain for 18 months. Neurosurgeon was finally consulted. Surgery three days later. Took life easy for a few weeks, a Percocet at night, not one problem since.

A funny exchange with the surgeon. He said he would not use sutures to close the incision but would use glue. I looked at him and said: "Well, I hope to hell it's stronger than Elmer's."

A funny exchange with the anesthesiologist. He came in and asked if I was nervous about anything. I said yes - him. He asked why -- because you could kill me when I'm asleep. He assured me he would not kill me and I said thank you. Last thing I remember before waking up alive.

If you are glued, it will simply peal off in the next few weeks.

Okay, off to put my feets up for a few then to the scullery.

What a nice trip for Paula. So happy she is able to get away and enjoy some new scenery with family.

Hi Andy. If it isn't bees it's a standoff between a squirrel and a Raven. Maybe put out two personalized bowls -- Raven and Squirrel.

Lori is home safely. Rest and enjoy. Maybe start reading Gray's Anatomy just for fun.

Hi Sandi.

Still wondering what Shirley is up to. She's been quiet, too quiet.

Okay, I'm leaving. Really. Bye

Well I am now officially a true Nelsonite!!!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Don't tell anyone!!!

I was on my way to the Cottonwood market after an awesome Paddle on the lake and beautiful geese who kept racing with us and weather was clear. Stopped to watch some Belly dancers as I came out of the co-op and a friend wanted to chat.

Well there was this small matter of a parking meter! I did not feed the meter!

As I was talking I saw the Yellow Jacket!

OH NO OH NO OH NO!!!

YEP INDEEDY it was a YELLOW JACKET for sure!

I am a true Nelsonite!!!

I got a $ 10.00 Parking ticket!!!

He was very gracious and friendly and smiled nicely as he passed me.

What to do what to do...

Drive on to the market and it is all good and Life is full of abundance and there is nothing to do...

Two days of no tea and muffins at a café!!

I will live!

Hoda said...

Raining now and huge black clouds descended on the market...colourful umbrellas friendly people lots of laughter and we all stayed dry and talked.

Life is good.

Thank you LORI.

LAUGHING so hard JUDIE on your two responses to the medical folks.

Good to hear from you PAULA.

DELPHIA very happy that you are well enough to write on the blog. Glad the family will join in with the exercises.

C/A I love your wisdom as reflected in your reading. Very true.

Glad to have STEVE back from being off grid. There was a video on racing in to shore to beat bad weather. They were going at a good clip! Living on the edge I suppose.

Happy Victoria Day Weekend to you all. Tip a cup of tea for Her Majesty's Great Great Grandmother!

Lolly said...

Sitting outside watching a hawk nest right above us. See two young about ready to fledge. Saw a snake delivered. Really cool. Zach is already asleep. He was exhausted!!! He did great today until he was so tired he crashed!

Hoda said...

So happy you had a good day with ZACH LOLLY. What great Grand Parents you are.

Lolly said...

RS hawks! Feel right at home. There is a large branch that angels out and up. When the snake was delivered one of the young ran up that branch and got the snake. Watched it eat and then it ran back down to the nest. Other folks camping do not know about the nature show going on!

Hoda said...

Sounds good LOLLY. Often many are not aware...Enjoying a glass of wine I hope.

magpie said...

Lovely, just lovely...what I read about since I last posted and read.
Yes, Judie is a Stitch....

Hoda, "the check" cleared and it was truly a delight to see your signature as I can "view" the check.
I'll have to do that again sometime!
Pay the parking ticket as soon as you can.....Please !!

magpie said...

Lolly...I love it the Zacharooski report, and yours as well...
I checked the Red-Shouldered Hawk's at Swinging Bridge....
:(
No Action whatsoever....
So I am sure they found a better nest somewhere...
I DID hear but now SEE,
Wood Thrush (one of Lynne2's favorites) and also Indigo Bunting...
and saw and heard some wonderful
Eastern Meadowlarks ☺

magpie said...

did NOT see I meant to type.
Blame it on the hands and fingers, oh yeah, good excuse !

magpie said...

Two tomato plants IN the ground,
caged, staked, and one little cloth tie on each to help them stay "connected" while they thrive.
I'll get one more and then just wait until BLT Season !
I am so happy!
Broccoli plants are looking good!
How fun this would be if they actually produce food !

chasertv.com to see a LIVE tornado!

magpie said...

Weather here threatened rain all day, but I only felt one drop after work on my Field Trip, but wow the clouds were impressive!
I am hoping that Jo's party day was rain-less!!

I thought she said HOT DOG instead of HOT HOT picnic earlier, and I was salivating!

Lolly said...

LOL. HODA, you know us too well! Yep, enjoying wine

Lynne2 said...

the weather channel is now showing the same tornados...they are chasing as well. This is so AWESOME!

Lolly said...

This is totally awesome! Watching one of the young branch. This time it "flew" back to the nest!

Lynne2 said...

are you able to get pictures Lolly?

Judie said...

Well, I had planned to settle in and do some reading but I just got a call from Interpol so I need to go to work. Seems the RCMP are putting together a poster offering a very large reward for the location and apprehension of a woman who is more active than a teenager but disguises herself as an older woman who goes about doing nice things for her community. It seems this "person of interest" has an outstanding $10 parking violation. I have been asked to develop a criminal profile.

Lynne2 said...

hoping someday that all of this technology will finally result in that magic ingredient that will give much more warning for tornadoes, and someday things like what just happened in TX will be no more....

Lolly said...

Where are the tornados?

Lolly said...

Amen! Lynne!

Lynne2 said...

central Kansas

Lynne2 said...

very open and very sparsely populated area. Thank goodness...

Lynne2 said...

guess what....I got another LIFER today, a RED HEADED WOODPECKER!!!!

and I saw a WOOD THRUSH too Margy!

Lolly said...

LOL. Judie! You are right on! Hope that person is apprehended!

Judie said...

Margy, your garden will be terrific in a few weeks. We, Darth, has yet to get tomatoes planted. Oh well, sigh.

Lolly, how cool to have a hawk nest right there to watch. Pleasant dreams.

Did I miss a Jo report on the party today? Hope it was a good one.

Lynne2, makes me nervous to watch tornado chases. Always fear the worst. You can enjoy for us both.

Lynne2 said...

Is there a reward? Cause I want to go on a Tornado Chaser Vacation and I need some money. LOL!

JUST KIDDING HODA!!

Lynne2 said...

Been watching the Weather Channel guys review the 2 tornadoes.

Judie said...

Ah, Sandperson is bouncing with anticipation of being on the way to visit you all. Bag is brimming with sleepy dust and happy dreams.

Restful sleep for all.

Lolly said...

Lynne, just saw your question. Nest is too high in a pine tree to get a pic.

magpie said...

Don't Go Yet Judie !
I need some of that GLUE of which you spoke...
I just dropped and broke the handle of my favorite LARGE mug for
Butternut Squash Soup !!

You are too funny! We did not KNOW you back in 2007 but you are doing a GREAT job bringing us up to date on all that that we missed at the time ☺ ♥

magpie said...

oh I sprinkled a little Holy Water on the tomato plants...not sure that is acceptable...but I DO know it will help the Tomatoes!

magpie said...

You did not miss a JO party report..I suspect it will come along a wee bit later, Judie

Oh, the ground has not really been
"Warm Enough" for the right number of days, that is ONE WEEK, but mine were itching to get into the ground and it had to be on MY schedule this time not the ground's !

magpie said...

Another way to make money
is to have a company use your personal vehicle for
ADVERTISEMENTS !
I have always wanted to do that, but I really think it is MY TURN to wind Powerball tonight $$$$$

Lynne2 said...

quite dark in the tornado areas now. still watches in effect. Tornado and dark are not a good mix....

magpie said...

I apologize for not being tuned in to all the Tornado things, am sort of drifting between things right now...
we had a tornado in Berkeley County several years ago....at night...my man pal at the time and I bailed out and went to his daughter's - Scary it was !!
I grabbed my toothbrush and pocketbook and out the door we went...we lived in a mobile home aka "trailer" at the time, no safe place to go there !!!

Lolly said...

HODA, we are laughing at your earlier post. Jack says to tell you to rejoice at the opportunity to contribute to the city paying it 's bills and to continue to enjoy tea and muffins. And, have a glass of wine, too!!!!!!

Lynne2 said...

how scary Margy!

magpie said...

Yah, Lynne....I had said "I think I better get to the office"
and he said
"No, that's the direction of where the tornado is"

Worked for me !

Lynne2 said...

we don't have a basement here, either. YIKES. This bottom floor is all stone. But the second/third floor is all wooden. They'd get ripped off of the house, and then we'd get sucked up into the tornado. :(

Lynne2 said...

Long gone are the days when I could RUN somewhere.....

magpie said...

Well, Lynne...maybe that's where your Guardian Angels will step in and help you do the running !

Okay, before I start waxing emotional here....

Good Night, Precious Pals !!

Prayers for Wellness, Healing,
Safety and Joy...
and for Sweet, Restful Sleep

God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo ♥

magpie said...

oh, PS

Baby deer should be "being born" right about now...keep an eye out for the Spotties ☺

Hoda said...

Well LYNNE would sell her friend for a reward to chase tornados!!! THANKS A LOT there Kiddo!!!

JUDIE would co-operate with Interpol and is opening a file on me???

Now I know who my friends really are!!!

LOL!!!

All is well though...this weekend we are all sipping tea in honour of HER LONG DEPARTED MAJESTY QUEEN VICTORIA...
JACK must be part BRITISH because he recommends drinking tea...this weekend it will have to be tea and scones for High Tea with elegant sandwiches to celebrate!!!

MARGY since everything is all shut down here for Victoria Day I will ride my bicycle to City Hall on Tuesday and pay the fine...you see I have "friends" who said they would co-operate with the RCMP for an outstanding warrant!!! Tsk Tsk Tsk!!! so I can not risk driving...poor poor poor me!! Oh sigh how I must suffer and life is so so so rough...a whole ten dollars...as a good friend said, Hoda do not spend it all in one place!!! But alas I will have to spend it at City Hall Tuesday so I would not be reported!!!

Yes LOLLY I agree with JACK continue to have tea and muffins and life is way too short.

Don't sweat the small stuff! It is all small stuff!

MARGY thank you very much again for the donation and while I was with the Grans today in the market they told me today to make sure to have said thank you...

Sorry about the squash soup cup...yes I think MISS JUDIE should send some of her famous glue.

STAY SAFE LYNNE AND STEVE.
MARGY too is there a tornado near you too??? Please God I hope NOT

Lynne2 said...

HODA...no no no! I am watching online. or I was, it's too dark now. No tornadoes in the east.

Hoda said...

YAY that is good news LYNNE. Thank you I will not worry then!

Hoda said...

I read back again and MARGY was talking of a past experience. Yes indeed scary...

When I go to City Hall on Tuesday I will take JACK'S words with me LOLLY: I am helping Nelson pay its bills!!!

SHIRLEY has not been on here much lately. Miss you SHIRLEY. I see her periodically on FB so I know she is alright.

Good late evening!
Birthday party was well attended and there wasn't any rain. BUT there wasn't any sun either and there was a slight wind that made jackets and socks feel great.
Vincent was over whelmed - mainly with so many people talking to him. I'm sure his most favorite part was all the cousins being with him.

Time for me to head out of here -
the pillows are calling my name.
Good night Friends. ♥

Make it a great day all!

Ugly day here with drizzle and a 70% chance of showers all day! Won't get caught up on any gardening, for sure!

Have a great day all. BBL

Good morning.

Did anyone ever tell JudyE that if she won the lottery it is required to share with eagle family members? Well, that is the rule! Seriously, hope whoever won is someone who needs the $.

Isla is doing nestorations, bears are quiet, one of the RTH babes is standing strong looking very hawk-like,AND Hedgie and Shamrock were at the 4 spot looking over the edge.

Hi Thelma, Next year we'll see all the nest.

Hi also to Sandi and CarolAnne.

Jo, glad everyone had fun yesterday. Vincent will have tons of pictures to remind him of his first party.

Hi Shirley, nice to see you stopped by. Wondered about you.

Okay, now that I know what paint colors look like in gloomy overcast light and artificial light, maybe the sun will come out so I can see what they look like with sun in the rooms. Paint colors always seem to tricky for me.

May go to the Mall later today. Have some other items on my agenda: new guest room mattress/box springs and replacing upstairs carpet. House is all hardwoood but need carpet for the upstairs.

Have a lovely morning.
