slept in til 7, have had all the dogs out to run and do their thing.

have had an issue with scout,but only one. all my other furbabies respond to a NO and a squirt of the water out of the water bottle. she plays with it. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i found her nemesis! a tiny soda can with coins in it. (tape over the top). a sharp NO from me and a shake of the can and she stops/changes behavior.

dry here this morning. trimming the maple tree in the front yard as it is quite tall and i am concerned over it loosing branches in a storm and taking out the red bud tree.

Good morning....although I have spent much of it in the bathroom. UGH! I FEEL much better overall, but how in the world can you feel sick and hungry at the same time! Thankfully, no vomiting. No fever. No aches or pains. I'm generally functional. I was worried about the Nororvirus possibility but I think this is just "DI" (dietary indiscretion).
all men and the women they love....my fellow coworker Sharon who is also my birding mentor and the other half of our singing duet (we are only working at the vet til our music career takes off)....well, she is about 5 feet tall. Her hubby is 6'8"!!!!!!

Got a phone call an hour ago from Zach. All he was doing was playing loud music for me. I listened for a while but when I got him to talk told him I had to go. He wanted to know did I want to listen to 7 or 11. I said I had to go and he hung up on me. He was on the house phone and I bet his parents were still asleep.

Well I totally missed yesterday's thread, so I must go read what's been happenin'.....
Very busy day yesterday with not a lot of definitive answers on the ear thing. Trying a different inhaler with an oral steroid medication (medrol dose pack) to try to reduce swelling in th sinus and eustation tube to see if that helps. No bubble and no fluid. Hearling test shows a little loss in hearing on the right side, but minimal.
If that doesn't work, we go to plan B, whatever that is!!
Must go read back!

The feeling I have could resemble tinnitus, but yes, I have the same with chronic sinusitis.
He thinks that because I started using regular nose spray at night, I may be having those rebound symptoms that could contribute to the problem. He thinks the eustation tube could be opening and collapsing causing the sensation I am having.
And sorry for misreading your post. A good ENT is good to have.
I had to use one for scopes in FL for nodules on my voice box. Didn't have heart burn that I felt, but lost my voice. Now I have to take Nexium daily and get checked for that as well. Strange.
I don't hear constant ringing or high sounds, but I do have occasional high tones or beeps that I hear.
You'd know if you had tinnitus. It's so aggravating. I hear it all the time and interferes with "real" sounds.
Oh, just read your last line again. Def sounds like tinnitus, also.

sUSAn - You won't like this one, but I started out in my young years smoking since I came from a family of smokers and it was cool!! I actually became allergic to the smoke, which was a blessing in disguise. It made it easier to quite at the ripe ole age of 24!!

My tinnitus is 24/7 and so many causes that it's difficult to treat.
I was just going to say I wish they'd clean up the nest and put some of those sticks back up on the rails...but today probably wouldn't be a good day for that!

My ENT said sometimes, if it kind of pulsates, it could actually be from your carotoid artery being so close to something in your ear, that you feel it there. I don't think mine is that regular.
A cat scan would probably reveal more, too, but hopefully I won't need that.
He said things I couldn't even understand for if this does not work. The good thing about that for YOU is there are many avenues to pursue to find the underlying cause.
When is your appointment??
Linda, Feb 19 for me. I had a CT a couple yrs ago, just showed the chronic sinusitis. Hopefully, this ENT will have more to offer that antibiotics. I'll be sure to let you know.

My son has the same thing with the chronic sinusitis and recently is having anxiety problems. His ENT said they could be related. When he can't breath, he could be getting anxious.
He is going through his second round of allergy testing, since he stopped taking his shots over 6 months ago.
He also has a deviated septum as do I.

I have cousins in Boston and in New Hampshire and a brother in Syracuse. I am sure they all got more snow than my piddly little 8".... LOL

We looked at the 2 other apts and I liked the second one. Only THEN did the guy say i had to fill out a credit app. UGH. For FORTY DOLLARS!!! I alread paid THIRTY FIVE for the one yesterday! I was honest with this man as well, about our situation. But he said that he didn't make the decisions. He gave the apps to the credit whoever they are and THEY tell him who he can and can't rent too. WHAT?? The other man didn't say that!!! He said HE made the decision. I'm so frustrated.....and I am going to be very disappointed if we end up not getting that place from yesterday.....

We also called about an apartment on a small farm today in Littlestown. And while it sounds HEAVENLY....not attached to the main house but rather an addition built on to a barn, 15 acres, dogs and cat OK, washer dryer hookups and front yard, it's in the boonies. Too much so for a one car family.

We lived in town in Fredericksburg for awhile. I liked it. I could walk to the college campus and to nearby restaurants.

I think it is cool that CRC is on Sample Road. Sample is my father's middle name--his mother's maiden name. And Huntersville is his family homeplace. Would love to go there and do some family research.

Shirley, 6 years ago, it used to take me about an hour to write an IEP. Now it takes me about 6 hours b/c of all the new regulations - so much bureaucratic BS!!
