Aw Sandi, so sorry to hear about the changes in Bandit. How old is he?

Bandit is 14. True, it's sad to see them declining but in this case, it's also disturbing. It bothers me that we may have to make a decision about him b/c he is becoming so aggressive. I have a house full of company from June thru August - sometimes kids, sometimes another dog. I'm worried about that for this summer. Plus, we're going to Tanzania for 2 weeks in July and I'll need to find someone to watch the dogs - they've never been kenneled. Not sure who I would ask to watch a dog that just might bite you!

Yes, it's SHEP, DMo.
I think it is as painful for us to see our pets aging as it is for us to see people aging that we love. It is heartbreaking especially when they can't tell us what is going on and how they feel.

Well maybe you will be able to find someone. My son sat for a the dog across the street who attacked him all the time. It was a given, he knew it. He would go over with boots and gloves. He tried hard to get Simon to warm up to him, it wasn't the same cause I don't think it was an aging problem, but he used to get "hazard pay" from the owner. Maybe you can find someone who is understanding enough to take on the task. Start looking now ☺

Still cam visits are better than no images or no visits.
Has anyone googled their screen ID?
I think it is some of the new "google privacy" stuff. I don't like it!! If I put in "CarolAnne" and scroll thru what comes up there is a section of "images" for CarolAnne and they are from my desktop 'photo' folder. Some are images I HAVE NOT posted anywhere. I DO NOT LIKE that invasion of privacy.
Magpie or Lori might be different as there are lots of Lori's, and Magpie is a bird, but if I put in DanaMo or WVDana and scroll thru it brings up past blog entries where their name is used.
Maybe its always been like that and I just never checked.

Good Morning (again Lori), DanaMo, Sandi, Margy and other I can't see till I publish this comment and get over the split.
LORI, "Sausage and biscuits" and "biscuits and sausage gravy" are 2 completely different things! As I discovered yesterday, biscuits and sausage gravy are MUCH better than sausage and biscuits! =D
LORI - the bug (or but) has been shown the door for the most part. Saw my Mom (87) at the birthday party, and when she discovered I wasn't feeling quite up to par, she shook her finger at me and said "I told you to eat more vegetables". lol
She is a very conscientious eater (like Hoda) and at 87 still has all her teeth, is on no medications, and still has a full head of hair that has much of its original color (only a smattering of gray/white hair), so I guess she knows what she's talking about. :o)
I bet RED has a different menu for Sundays. Something a bit fancier than his usual.

Yep, my Mom's a wonder. Comes from good stock I think. She is the youngest of 10 and still has 3 older siblings alive and well.
Bubby is starting to stir, so our day is starting. Snowed again last night, shoveling or brooming on the agenda.

Sandi I just want you to know that I am sorry about Bandit's change in attitude. At age 14 which is a great age to get to. He is sure a lucky doggie to have you as a parent. Does he only try to bite you when you try to pick him up?

Want to wish everyone a blessed Sunday! We're about to start our day here. Had hot multigrain cereal & cherry scones for breakfast.
Sandi, sorry to hear about Bandit's personality change. Is it possible that he has some sort of chronic pain like arthritis that makes him grumpy? Lynne2 may have some ideas that might help. Prayers, for sure! Hope an answer to the problem is found.
Will check back in later today. Hope Belle gets busy in the egg department soon. HAGD, everyone!
