Such fun, DanaMo!

Kay said...

Dana, bet you are as cute as cute can be ! Hope you have a fun day with your little charges !

Shirley, thanks for the "in service" explanation. Can't remember our having, or my kids having days off for that. A couple of times Seth and I have lunched at Bob Evans on those days, running into tables of teachers on their break. He'd always get hugs from several of them !

Dana, you got wax--maybe you can convert it into a nice Christmas candle.

DanaMo said...

Very fuzzy, Annemarie took it, but I blame the camera those point and shoots are hard to keep steady because they are so small. Anyway she even got the shoes! Have a great day everyone!

Kay said...

Yep, just as I suspected. Cute as cute can be DanaMo !

Color/colour arrives at the nest, please to the same Belle n' Shep !

Kay said...

Don't blame you a bit for funding flights home for Aric. Roads can be iffy in the winter and the time saved is worth a lot to you and Monte, I'm sure. Yes, someday we'll meet and make up for that lost opportunity in August !

Well we got color all right, the nest, AND DanaMo !

time to make like a baby and head out...

Hello to whomever is out there honking the horn at the nest!

Morning Eagle people,
My favorite Christmas song has a memory connected to it. Years ago, midnight mass was at an old, old church with massive ceilings & alter. A huge tapestry/banner was put up on the back of the alter for the season, that hung from ceiling to floor (about 20'). As the choir in the balcony at the back of the church sang "Do you hear what I hear", . . .there was this tearing noise . . .as they got to "Do you see what I see" . . . the banner started to fall down from the ceiling. There was a collective gasp from the congregation as the banner slowly curled down to the alter filled with lighted candles. God was there and prevented a disaster, as the banner curled up nicely as it descended and missed the candles.

Have a great day all. Continuing prayers for those in the most stressful medical situations, and all others with needs known & unknown.

Hello, eagle dudettes and dudes!
Not currently raining, but it sounded hard during the night. It is already snowing in Wheeling.....so I guess heading this way. Hoping it is just a skiff!

Pearl Harbor---my Uncle Guff (Gordon, but I couldn't say that when I was a wee one) was at sea in the South Pacific but fortunately not at P.H. I don't remember the name of his ship...I think it was a destroyer, tho'.

Christie had a bedbug episode in NYC. And she did get bitten! It was probably about 10 yrs. ago...at this time of year. Not a pleasant experience.....and then she had to deal with the NYC Health Dept. because the hotel just brushed her off.

hedgie said...

My favorite Christmas song is O Holy Night......and for a modern one it's Christmas Eve in Washington by Maura Sullivan. See if you can find it online----Lori, do you all have it????? It was originally for WMZQ!

stronghunter said...

I think I hear rain at the nest.

Lori O. said...

Yes, we have the Sullivan song, Lynn. It's gets played so much we try to hold off on it as long as possible. I would be happy to never hear it again!

magpie said...

"What Child is This" is way up near the top too...
well, there really are LOTS of favorites...

returning now to all the other computers and monitors here now...
and Telephones !

Lots of favorite Christmas songs for me, too.

Got Hunter off to the bus awhile ago. Rain has slacked off a little, but is still coming down.

stronghunter said...

I heard lots of hard rain coming down in the night, too, Lynn.

Kept thinking about whether I should worry about something outdoors it was pouring so hard and wondered if the trash can was okay. For some reason the trash people did not show yesterday. Fortunately, the can did not blow over.

stronghunter said...

Beep-beep.

Another car horn.

hedgie said...

DanaMo, you are as cute as a pixie! Know the kiddoes love it!!!

Thelma, poor Buddy. Hope he feels better soon----and that you don't have too much mess to deal with. :(

Yikes, CarolAnne! How scary---and thankfulness that it wasn't a tragedy! That WOULD stick in your mind!!!

Cool, Lori! I have always held off until Christmas Eve to play the song, but this year I already have it in the CD changer and have played it once!!!

T-Bird said...

My favorite Christmas song is Kenny G's version of "Auld Lang Syne." The next would be "Blue Christmas," by Elvis.

T-Bird said...

I also love the Charlie Brown Christmas album.
