Just read back as I missed a lot of comments during dinner.
Linda, sorry there was not an easily solution or quick cure today. Pray that the doctor is right and it will just take time. Do not like that you are in pain!
DanaMo, lovely pictures. You look so much like your mom. Our 50th is coming up in 3 1/2 years! Oh, no!!! That is a long time to be with one guy! I have told the kids, no big party. I want a week at the beach with the whole family! I used to tell them I wanted a big reception like we threw for Laurel and Joey, but no more. Like the quiet life better and Jack would never go for the "repeat the vows" thing.
Went upstairs and Hunter reminded me that his bedtime is 8:30. That gave him something like 3 more minutes. He turned off the TV and hopped into bed when I reminded him. Hope he stays there. He has played pretty hard today.
SHIRLEY, snacks ? Actually the best practice is 6 small meals a day rather than the three most folks have always eaten. The idea is to never be completely full or completely empty. It's easy for me as a retiree living alone, but is often hard for younger people to do. I eat something light at about 7, 11:30, 2:00 and 4:00. Dinner is at between 6 and 7 and my dinner plate is half salad, a portion of meat/protein about the size of a pack of playing cards and a few tablespoons of whole grain rice or pasta or some steamed veggies. I had to adjust to whole grain breads, pasta and brown rice. I loved pasty white bread and all the wrong things. Now I love the healty stuff, learning real quick when it was the only thing in the house to eat ! For me, meat means mostly chicken, no pork and red meat a couple of times a month. Kathryn will experiment and decide what's best for her---the weight will come down pretty fast at first. I lost 20 pounds in the first two months after receiving the diagnosis and stalled there until this kidney infection came along.
I was certainly a Chatty Cathy today ! Will be a little more quiet tomorrow as I'll have the granddog all day and Seth after school.
Heading for G's Anatomy and Mentalist then to bed. Will be saying prayers for all in need and thanking the good Lord that so many of you got to see our eagles today and for other blessings we've made note of.
♥L♥I♥B♥E♥R♥T♥Y ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Have I mentioned I will stop this practice once our male has a good name, twill be time for me to move on, time for closure. Love you all and hope you have a very good night and a pleasant RED FRIDAY !
Thanks, Jo...I meant to tell last night when Margy (?) asked...TJ it is!
What a great pic Nilla's friend posted.....can't tell where it is, tho'.....too many country roads around here! WOW!!!!!!!
John's ashes will be spread in AZ, Kay---after a service in CA. Only 2 of the kids were here for this one. His Mom doesn't really understand that he's gone. Kathie is running on adrenaline---not doing well. She and his Mom were the only family here....and Kathie doesn't have many friends---most of them are in the WV Council for the Blind (she is legally blind). Apparently the Colorado brother wants to their mother to come with him...but Kathie and the grands don't think that is a good idea......all a mess right now. :(
My grandparents had a mass and renewed their vows on their 50th. SO many people came to celebrate! Gram wore a RED DRESS!!! My grammy was not prone to wearing "loud" colors, but that is what she wanted to do! She was so cute!
I am hoping fence things happen tomorrow. The guy said that they can't do anything until Miss Utility marks where the underground utilities are and that is supposed to happen tomorrow morning. They might come to do the fence tomorrow. They have all of the materials.
I know that there are not any utility lines in the back yard. We had Miss Utility come out when we planted some trees. Lines run across the front near the street and down to the box by the garage. And there is a water line in the middle of the front yard.
It seems that Hunter is still awake. He has been very quiet, though.
This is a kid I taught in the 80's and his dream was to be a sports caster. He got his dream and now won the lottery!!! Good On You Barry!!! Barry Deley wins the lottery on air
This is the second kid from this high school that won the lottery...the first one was a Native American Student who won eight milliion dollars...
Tis the dark of night and the sandperson has arrived to remind me that our dearest Shirley has been so gracious to turn the night light on for everyone.
Thank you, Shirley. I was able to see my way down the hall to the computer.
Restful sleep for all. Will try to catch up tomorrow.
JO THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE LINK GOD BLESS AMERICA Indeed.
KAY Yes the other sites referred to L♥I♥B♥E♥R♥T♥Y♥ when he was at the nest.
SHIRLEY I am glad you had seen the video of The kid I taught. I feel happy for him and pleased for his family. I wonder if he is going to continue to work. His dream was to be a sports caster. He did it for years...he is good at it.
Puddles yurped her breakfast up a little while ago and now is not allowed to have any food. Guess I'll have to take her to work tomorrow. She is acting quite normally otherwise and no diarrhea. Even so, don't want any problems over the weekend.
I want to thank all of you that sent prayers for my daughters drs appointment and for John's drs. appointment for his seizures. Both went very well. John did not loose his license. This dr. Raschida found by asking those that came to have their blood drawn that used this doctor. Found he really knew his stuff about seizures. That is how he got to be with this doctor. John and Raschida felt so good with the input they got from him. He put John on a different medication. Telling her to watch him for any side effects. She would notice them more than he would. So he starts the new meds tomorrow night. She was placed on the Z-pack but her lab is still growing to see what grows. In case they need to change her medication. THIS HAS BEEN AWESOME FROM THE PRAYERS YOU ALL SENT UP. THANK YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS YOU FOR THE PRAYERS. ((((((((HUGS TO ALL OF YOU)))))))))
Kay there is no low impact exercising I can do other than in a pool. Which I had been going to in Winchester Va. when Ed was alive. I need closer now and that pool does not have a life guard on duty. That bothers me!!! I have had times where the lifeguard in Va. had to come in and help me in 3ft. of water. I think it is crazy they have no lifeguard. This is even connected with our hospital.
So until I find a pool close by inside. I can't do any exercising. Which helps the cervical and spinal stenosis.
The Wedding pictures are GREAT DANAMO. You both look BEAUTIFUL. The smile is a winner I would say...You wore the same dress I read you wrote...both petite then...
Good Late Evening Eagle Pals... seriously doubtful I am going to catch up my "reading" since signing off the blog this morning... I'll give it a try, but in the meantime:
Prayers for Wellness and God Bless This Nest, and God Bless Us, Every One "See Ya' Tomorrow"
Yawns from here......caught up, but too pooped to say much. Great vids, Jo and Hoda---so cool that your former student is a winner, Hoda!
Shirley, fingers crossed that fence work will commence tomorrow! Clouds have rolled in here---no star or moonie....but weather map looks like precip tomorrow will be pushed even south of you!
Margy, hope you had a nice evening with James the Younger.
Lynne, sure hope Puddles is okay. Love your avatar---wedding shot, right??!!!
Good for John that Dr. has tricks in his bag for treatment.
Alarm set for 6:30, so goodnight dear friends. Prayers for all.
yep, that's the wedding. I wasn't really kissing him, I was giving him mouth to mouth resuscitation because he passed out from nerves in front of all those people.
I'm heading for be too. Miss Puddles will NOT be sleeping in the bed tonight! I really don't think she is sick. I think she is upset that her daddy isn't here. She is SUCH a daddy's girl!
Watched tv tonight. Now time to shower! Listening to weather, frost tonight and a good chance of a freeze. Glad we moved plants to the greenhouse. There is one impatient out there that is still so pretty. Think I am going to rescue it and admire it for a while!
Mouth to mouth resuscitation, I like to practice that now and then. lol
Hope Puddles let's you sleep tonight, Lynne.
Night all! Sweet dreams!
Oh, Lynne.....drank my water today. Spent a lot of time in the WC. lol Walked 2 miles, too! Thanks for the challenge!
Good night to all Send that Sandman my way Judi! Prayers for the many needs that we have. Praying you can take pain from our bodies! Prayers of Thankfulness being said. Hugs for all ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Hi, Everyone, Darn,I missed seeing the eagles tonight! Sure glad that all of you did, though. When Kubby got home, we got busy bagging up leaves. We got almost all of the leaves off the neighbors' driveway and side walkway. They still have a bunch on their lawn, but their gardeners come on Friday, and will mow them up. We got all the leaves off our driveway and front walk. There are still a LOT by our side gate and in the back yard, but tomorrow is another day. Oh--we can't use trash can lids to pick up leaves, because we have HUGE trash cans, provided by the City, and the lids are attached to them by hinges. We do use a dust bin to pick up the leaves, though. It goes pretty quickly with 2 people working at it.
I'm ready to hit the hay too. This was Food Bank truck loading and unloading day... We had a total of 2tons! I didn't think we would ever get done...had to put ev erything away in the Food Pantry. We were all so exhausted, we left many cases of produce in the back of our van..will unload it Monday
Glad so many of you are getting to see Belle and Male:) JO, you don't have to beat me with a wet noodle for using the name that I prefer:)
I see that Linda's dentist wasn't much help today. Heavy-duty prayers for some pain relief!
Prayers for Shirley's Kathryn, too. I found out in Dec. of 2007 that I had type 2 diabetes. I take 2 oral medications, watch what I eat, eat several small meals a day, drink lots of water, exercise, and try not to get stressed. It seems to be working!
Think I'd better call it a night and go watch Grey's and PP. Prayers said for everyone, and for all our critters, too--especially those not feeling 100%. Making sure the porch light is on, (thanks, Judie, for the night light) and enabling both security systems. Sleep well, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! :o] (Emma & Kubby say,"ZZZzzzz...SNORK!...zzzzz.")
Yes Kay those good forums used Belle and Liberty. That is another reason why after the winning name is announced. We all here use that as the males name. ( :
I guess being up this late I won't be up early to see the eagles.
I am having a problem with my left eye. What's new since the cataract surgery right?????? I never had any floaters before. I think this is what you would call a "floater". It sure is driving my sight crazy.
By the way that doctor John seen. There was a young girl age 20 that had seizures. No medication would work for her. This doctor due to the type of seizures she was having. Went in and did brain surgery. She told Raschida that she has been 15 yrs. now without a seizure. WOW what miracles God can work.
Night everyone prayers for all those that need them, those on my prayer list and if someone is not on there ... God you know who they are please add them. Prayers also for the different animals that are having health issues.
D-Mo, four hours is a pretty long class....like Traffic School I went to in California every time I got a ticket, that way it didn't go on my record. I've slowed my wild driving ways since then.
It's awful Lori. Today we are going to be "assessed" on what we know about our Catholic Faith. That should be interesting! A test! They just use the word assessment to make it sound better! LOL
Hey I posted a picture on my blog of a centerpiece I made for my parents dinner party. Tell me what you think. She had basically given me a sample that she saw but it wasn't gold and I couldn't find any in gold so I made this myself. Is it too gaudy? Take a look. Thanks friends.
Watching the news.I think Cain is dead in the water. What do you think? I think just the accusation alone makes it impossible now for him to be the candidate. The general public is not going to get past it whether it's true or not.
Go ahead and post about politics, D-MO, it's a lively subject, and you were only commenting on the results of the coverage not the man. Me? I think it's amazing that he still leads the polls...BUT when they ask who will be the ultimate nominee, most people say Mitt Romney.
I think there is too many people with preconceived notions about the Mormons. And I certainly don't know very much either, but I know how the Catholic faith is misunderstood and I think the Mormon faith may be the same way. It will be interesting to say the least. I was just over on FB and saw a friends post with something Obama and wow did he start a storm. Always interesting, but I always stay out as I am not a well informed party. I certainly have my opinions but there is no way I could survive a political debate!
Good Morning Eagle Pals... Light approaches the Nest
Like the centerpiece DanaMo !
My parents renewed their vows while in the nursing home together in 1983...on their 50th anniversary...Priest did the servie...it was very nice, we had a little ceremony afterwards. ♥ ♥
I wrote last night more about that doctor that John is seeing. About what he did for a girl that was having seizures. He is a really good doctor/surgeon.
DanaMo I checked out that center piece -- excellent for the ocassion. Very good work!!!!
I am grateful for the still cam but I would sure love to have our live feed back! Wish we had a set up like Decorah, only at our nest with our eagles!!!!
Good Friday morning to all you Momsters and Dadsters out there. I see our regular cam is now working again with both in the nest. I can't believe that I am really on here again, as I have been having trouble logging in. Right now I can't tell you what my password is. I didn't realize I was on.
Nurse Lynn why am I having a "floater in my left eye"? You know I had the cataract surgery both eyes did not have any floaters at the time they wanted to do it. Said the cataracs were ripe.
I have enlarged can't find the blackish place so I am going to take a guess and say. The one that has been in the nest all this time is Belle. The one that flew out was the male. Guessing remember.
Our eagles are gone, but what a great visit it was. Now the birds at my feeders are pouring in this morning, chickadees, cardinals, bluejays, titmouse (titmice???), etc. Oh wait, Belle is back! (I think it is Belle!)
DanaWV---floaters are a fact of life....nothing to do but put up with them and try to ignore them. Sometimes worse if in sunshine, or if not getting enough sleep. They tend to get worse with age.
Paula---JudyE is computerless for a couple of days! Maybe she'll check at Angie's when she gets Jordyn!
Thank you Thelma for telling them to play nicely....that was great inspiration from you. Yes am and have been doing as you are telling the others ....spread the love....thank you again for those wonderful words and for not taking sides.
Not saying that I am leaving forever, but I am definitely bowing out for now. It has taken me a long time to get to a place that my heart didn't break when I thought of this new male eagle and our Liberty. A little name shouldn't cause all of this. For whatever reason, God blessed me with a calmness with the name that I like.
I have friends that I trust completely on here and others not so much. I can, however, go to Facebook and call whoever whatever name I choose without fear of reprimand. So, for now, my eagle budlets, I shall bow out. For those of who you care, you know where to find me.
Sharon, I hope you'll reconsider any time away. Everyone I know here loves you and your wonderful sense of humor. I'm praying you'll feel different tomorrow. ♥
We're back online!!!!Out since Wed. My Georgetown Dr. appt. lasted so long, didn't bother going to work Wed. PM. So worked long day yesterday, am working today and Sat. at Park is the Annual Jug Bay 10K run & walk for Wildlife!I need sleep!
Have to read back asap & hope everyone is doing fine! ☺♥ BBL (unless I fall asleep!)
Back from breakfast. Food was good and fellowship was better. We had a big crowd today---4 tables full of folks---and I was the only female!!!!! Of course, when I was working, our male:female ratio was only 12%....so I'm VERY used to being the belle of the ball, so to speak!!!
Loretta-----everything okay???? Didn't know that you had gone to GT. Did you hear that I can't go to GT this time? They don't take my current insurance. But Fairfax does and they are great, too----it kind of IS "my" hospital a nyway, so....all will be good. Sorry about your puter issues, too. What a PIA!
I feel so very sad that the naming of our new Male Eagle has turned slightly UGLY! Personally, I loved the name ******* because Capt. Gene enjoys the eagles and our group so much that he wanted to participate in the naming. Replies to this name were quite a few of saying, "That name sounds too old for a young eagle"...I don't agree, but 'so what', lets go on to another name****,Oh, I don't like that because it reminds me of a dog,****Oh, that reminds me of a dance I used to go to!****sounds like we are praising the new male for chasing Lib away. My suggestion would be to look at the names and vote for the one that YOU like, for whatever reason without comment, just to keep peace in our wonderful family!
I honestly hope that SHARON, stays with us as the new Breeding season begins, so that we can ALL share the JOY that a new family will bring to us all. SHARON has been here since day 1 and will break my heart if she doesn't stay with us. I love her as I do all of you...let's not break up our Sister Family because of a NAME!

Good morning. Today I have my horrible religion class...4+ hours of boredom.
Morning DanaMo!
D-Mo, four hours is a pretty long class....like Traffic School I went to in California every time I got a ticket, that way it didn't go on my record. I've slowed my wild driving ways since then.
IT'S FRIDAY !!!
Paula,
so glad you got the tug!
I hope Nick loves it.
It's awful Lori. Today we are going to be "assessed" on what we know about our Catholic Faith. That should be interesting! A test! They just use the word assessment to make it sound better! LOL
Changing my avatar - I'm thankful it's finally Friday! I'm off Monday and Tuesday, too! WoooHooo!
Hey I posted a picture on my blog of a centerpiece I made for my parents dinner party. Tell me what you think. She had basically given me a sample that she saw but it wasn't gold and I couldn't find any in gold so I made this myself. Is it too gaudy? Take a look. Thanks friends.
DanaMo - I think your centerpiece is beautiful ... that's not an easy thing to come up with and you did a fabulous job! Your Mother will love it.
Thanks Lori.
Watching the news.I think Cain is dead in the water. What do you think? I think just the accusation alone makes it impossible now for him to be the candidate. The general public is not going to get past it whether it's true or not.
Maybe I shouldn't post about politics? It's not a post for or against. Just an opinion about the publicity.
Still too dark at the nest to see anything....
Go ahead and post about politics, D-MO, it's a lively subject, and you were only commenting on the results of the coverage not the man.
Me? I think it's amazing that he still leads the polls...BUT when they ask who will be the ultimate nominee, most people say Mitt Romney.
Which of the 3 Flying labs is up with you this morning?
Ya think, Mitt? I'm not sure about him because of him being Mormon. Right, he is Mormon?
I've got the two "kids" here with me. Boomerang is being annoying ringing the bells to go out. He rings loud. Java rings soft.
I gather Frisbee is still sleeping?
It's not that I think that Romney will ultimately be the nominee, that's what the polls say.
Yes, D-Mo, Romney is Mormon.
I certainly have my opinions but there is no way I could survive a political debate!
oops sorry for the grammar error...there "are"
Cold wet black noses. So sweet.
I'm wired this morning. I stopped and got a huge cup of dark roast high octane and have refilled it once, too.
Good morning,
DanaMo, I think your table decoration is very pretty.
Think I may doze a bit here in my chair.
Raining here.
Accident on I-95 already. Kathryn will probably take back roads again.

Good Friday morning to all you Momsters and Dadsters out there. I see our regular cam is now working again with both in the nest. I can't believe that I am really on here again, as I have been having trouble logging in. Right now I can't tell you what my password is. I didn't realize I was on.

Just sitting there looking out from the middle of the nest.
Liesl's awake...gotta let her out.....bet Belle will be gone when I get back---long visit!
Nurse Lynn why am I having a "floater in my left eye"? You know I had the cataract surgery both eyes did not have any floaters at the time they wanted to do it. Said the cataracs were ripe.
What a long visit. I'm glad I was present for it!!
The nest is really such pretty colors showing up now. Still sitting in middle of nest looking around.
Turned facing us and back some from middle. Now turned to look out right side of nest but up. Like something it up in xky or tree.
xky is suppose to be sky
Sitting in middle of nest looking up.
Still there!!! Light is off...colors now!
I have enlarged can't find the blackish place so I am going to take a guess and say. The one that has been in the nest all this time is Belle. The one that flew out was the male. Guessing remember.
Over half-an-hour! Amazing!
Nurse Lynn check out my comment at 7:38 please.
both in nest
both
I'm (we)so blessed this morning.
And BOTH again!
Believe male on left and Belle on right (guessing) blown up and looks like blackish on one on left
Both are sitting together now they are apart some really stretching heads out to look around
This is AMAZING! So happy they're both in the nest again this morning. WOW!
One gone...other getting ready to poof I think,,,
Cool, saw the eagle before it poofed!
JUDYE sent you an email!
Poof-poof!
Good morning my eagle budlets.
Yep---gone! Thanks Belle and T for a great show!
I think the one that flew off first was Belle leaving male in nest. Then male flew off empty nest now.
Good Morning Sharon and Paula. We have had a wonderful visit by both eagles. A long visit. ( :
Lynn maybe now you can check out my comment at 7:38
eagle back
eagle back!
Our eagles are gone, but what a great visit it was. Now the birds at my feeders are pouring in this morning, chickadees, cardinals, bluejays, titmouse (titmice???), etc. Oh wait, Belle is back! (I think it is Belle!)
WARNING!!!! Lori and DanaMo---nope, no politics!!!! That's verboten on the blog!
Love the centerpiece, DanaMo! You are SO talented!!! How many will you have to make??? Better hurry!
All of my posts are posting twice for some odd reason. Wonder what the heck??
Ah, come on Lynn...I was just trying to liven up the mornings. LOL!
Of course, that one didn't! LOL! Back to work!
I have enlarged can't tell who it is for sure.
WHooHoo---eagles AND Candy!!!! So glad you finally made it in the door, Candy!!!!!!
I did not mind Lori and DanaMo comments earlier. Sorry she just stated was news said. Oh well who am I but nobody. lol
Thanks Lynn for commenting on my post at 7:38
I am guessing this is Belle that has been in the nest this time.
TIme to go. BBL.
Belle is enjoying some quiet time away from Shep. Oops, I said it again. Sorry for the slip-up!
EAGLE BACK!!!
BTW-----wind is BLOWING hard here now. :(
Belle if it is her has been for a long time over at the right side of nest near limb in nest. Just flew out.
poof
DanaWV---I don't "mind" what they posted either, but many have made it clear here that they don't want or appreciate politics being part of the blog.
I think once again, our male is lighter in color than Belle.
Thank you Lynn, I forgot about that w/ JudyE.
Sharon we do NOT have a name for the male eagle yet. Please don't start calling him by a name yet....give everyone a chance to VOTE!!!!!!
DANA! Be nice.
Here we go...Sissy I am being NICE!!!! Please let's not start this back and forth thing. I am being NICE and will continue to be nice!!!
Dana, I got the message on your first comment. Three of them were not necessary.
Goodbye for now!!!!!!!
Well, outta here! Catch you good folks later. Have a great day!
TGIF and let's make a good day while playing nice with each other.
Spread the love. I will catch you all on the flip side.
Make sure you holler if we get another visit.
Thank you Thelma for telling them to play nicely....that was great inspiration from you. Yes am and have been doing as you are telling the others ....spread the love....thank you again for those wonderful words and for not taking sides.
I will holler if we get another visit. ( :
AND NOW BACK TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAM.....
There are some very brave (or very stupid) Harris sparrows in the Decorah nest cleaning house for the eagles.
Ssssooooo....
What ya doin?
We're back online!!!!Out since Wed. My Georgetown Dr. appt. lasted so long, didn't bother going to work Wed. PM. So worked long day yesterday, am working today and Sat. at Park is the Annual Jug Bay 10K run & walk for Wildlife!I need sleep!
Have to read back asap & hope everyone is doing fine! ☺♥
BBL (unless I fall asleep!)
Good morning! Well, I see that I missed a nice long visit by our eagles this morning. Happy for you, sad for me. lol
Did not freeze....yea! Think I saw a low of 35 and it is sun shiney and up to 40.
What a PIA!
GOOD MORNING...
Today's avatar...two bestest children in the world!! Michael and Laurel.....that is what I am thankful for!☺
Split is upon us!!!!
Watch out!
Since I am all by myself, I might as well enjoy the split........................wheeee!
Well, that was fun! Sorry you were not here to enjoy it! LOL
Off to start my day!
BBL
