Hope all will go back to the old thread for the morning posts---there are things there you'll want to be in on and too many to bring over to the new thread.
I did just a while ago talk to Janet/Nilla. She is very much in shock. She of course if over in Hagerstown at her Dad's house. Everyone there is in shock. It was very sudden. He felt cold had a coat on in the Hotel room. His wife said she thought he should go to the hospital. He went to the bathroom. There in the hotel room he collapsed. 911 was called....sorry I can't remember if they brought him back once or not. He will be brought back to Hagerstown to the Funeral Home there. They were all a very close knit family. This is a shock to friends and family. May God Be Close To Janet and Her Family During This Time.
Is Virginia Tech close to any of your homes, those who live in Virginia and West Virginia??? Sorry for my ignorance. There is a lock down there with a possible gunman, young lad from the skecth on CBS. If you are close to it stay safe please God...
Hoda, a few years ago, 2007 Virginal Tech (where both vets here went to school) had a crazed gunman kill 33 people. I'm sure this incident is extra frightning for everyone.
Hi, Everyone, Thanks for the new thread, Steve, and thanks, Hoda, for the call over!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BARBARA WILLARD!! Hope you have a wonderful day today!
Just want Linda and her family to know that they are in my prayers today, and in the days to follow. God bless you and give you His peace.
Thank you to the anonymous Momster/Dadster who sent flowers on behalf of all of us! What a nice thing to do!
Haven't really caught up completely here, so need to do that. Hoping that all of you are having a good day.
Lynn, if you weren't so far away, Emma and I would happily puppysit for you! Hope you can find someone you'll feel comfortable with. Prayers! Hope your dental appt. goes well, too!
Lynne2, so habby to hear good news about Bro Cat! Prayers for his continued good health!
Well, need to get busy around here. Have much to do, and so little time! (Story of my life!) Will check back in later to see how things are going.
Oh--did Iris lose her Dad? So very sorry to hear that! Don't remember seeing that post. My most heartfelt sympathy, and prayers for the entire family. (((HUGS))) too.
Noting that tomorrow we'll be honoring Bob Hollinger. There are two Bob's on the cheat sheet, one in Indiana and one in Pennsylvania. Please tell us newbies which one he is and a little background, pretty please !
Back from unloading the truck, loading the van and unloading the van and then unloading the boxes and loading the pantry and the fridge:) Too hot to stand in a parking lot and wait on your pile of goodies to be unloaded. Only a little over 1200 pounds this time:) Lots of wonderful desert items this time...iced brownies, mini cupcakes, apple spice cake, pound cake, blueberry pies and sconces.
Something has gone horrible wrong with my left jaw where it attaches to my head. I opened my mouth to eat my sandwhich and heard cracking. I'm in a LOT of pain, and can barely open my mouth. My teeth are very sore in the back. I can't even talk normally! UGH UGH UGH
I'm listening to a classic rock station called 106.9 The Eagle here at work. They play the sound of a Redtail Hawk on there ID sound byte. LOL! Just like in the movies! All those poor people listening have no idea that an Eagle doens't really sound like that!
Very nice piece about the eagle. Mason Neck. I guess that's the one everyone had been talking about, I just hadn't realized it when I saw it as a coming up story.
Shirley, Puppy Limp, AKA Panosteitis couldn't be what Flash has...it's a puppy thing that they out grow. Dr Baker recommends Lyme test to start, if one hasn't been done.
There will be no calls to the dentist. I will look at this as the answer to my prayer to be able to keep from eating too much....now I can loose weight!!
DAnAmo I was just like you about making a link. After you copy the address: 1.Open < 2.a {leave space} 3.href={Paste the address} 4.Close > The only area with space is between a and href. 5.TYPE THE TITLE YOU WANT TO APPEAR IN RED. 6.Open < 7. / 8.a 9.Close >
Thank you Steve for the fresh thread and Hoda for the call over.
Need to read back and try to see what has happened.
Sincere sympathy to Janet and her family.
Thank you to the anonymous blogger who sent flowers to Linda and her family. Lovely gesture.
Lolly, so glad the MRI showed only normal age-related deterioration. Therapy will help with the pain. I'm sure you and Jack are pleased that he lost his grumpiness.
still didn't work....no spaces anywhere, right? only between a and href, and you can us spaces in the title but not where you start and finish the title.
LYNNE so strange all the links here show in red!!!LOL
DANAMO give it a rest and try again later. I find that when I leave it alone for a bit I can catch what I am missing. I know how frustrating it can be becauwse I have been there.
LYNNE, I hope your jaw improves...I always say listen to JUDIE...but do what you can do.
No visit from B & T this morning, sure would be lovely to have one tonight. Think they're listening? Or care? :) Looks a little breezy at the nest.
Where's MARGY? Haven't seen her on yet this afternoon.
The funeral for LINDA's brother Billy was at 3, then I imagine there's an after gathering somewhere. I hope she's held up well and blessings for Billy's family. The pictures did such a great job of showing what a nice family they are.
SHIRLEY and LYNNE - I know when Dalai has had LYME she'll not feel great then starts limping...and it can go from limping in one leg one day to a whole other leg the next. That's my big clue it's LYME. The titer test is easy then antibiotics for a month.
I am very afraid of Lyme and ticks are so prevelant in this area. My brother's dog died of kidney failure caused by Lyme. She was fine on Thanksgiving and was dead a week later. No limping. They live in a subdivision, no fields, no woods. Her fist symptom was she didn't eat a good dinner, then the next morning, she threw up her breakfast. My SIL took her right to the vet that day.Blood tests revealed Lyme, and kidney failure. At that stage, there is little hope.
LOLLY so happy that Jack's MRI show the normal dengeneration for his age. Prayers will continue for him to feel better. I know just him knowing makes him feel better that way and you too. HUGS
HODA, very interesting Lincoln link. You may make some of smart if you keep it up! LOL
Hope it was a good dinner for you Shirley, though my Mom always says it tastes better when someone else cooks it. I believe that.
LYNNE, I'm worried about your jaw. Pleasae be careful.
KAY, I hope you got some rest after your sleepless night.
It's off to bed for me. Thought I could stay up until dark to see if we had an eagle visit tonight, but it's not going to happen...Mr. Sandman.... Prayers for LINDA, NILLA and their families. God Bless ALL of you. Goodnight.
Good Evening Everybody! Hope it was a cooler day! Had appt this morning, after lunch had a Panda nap. Been out this evening trimming dead flowers, etc. One I thought was going to croak made a comeback. Think it was the weather--New Guinea Impatiens. They usually do better in heat/sun than the regular imps, but this year took a toll.
I'll see you all after Dragon Boating...It is a hot day here today but it seems to be less so now...91 degrees believe it or not!!! GRACIOUS ME!!!I will take my water bottle with me...not enough time to take pictures even if I had a camera that allowed for water splashes...they certainly would not think it is a good thing for me to be doing...oh my!!!I still think they are a good and focused group. BBL.
KAY---Mom's place in FL was a fire-ant h--l-hole!!! I hated it!!!! And her gardener attacked them EVERY week......I even got bitten just picking up the dog lead when I would put my Cinnamon out to go potty (no fenced yard). And they got on her, but didn't bite her. I am quite allergic to them--local reaction, that is. AWFUL!
LORI---didn't know you were a golfer! SOunds like your trip is well-scheduled for you!
Thanks, dear friends, for saying that you would keep Liesl if you were close!! Kay, I WAS going to call the foster mom....BUT their yard isn't fenced, and I am just too leery of them not keeping close watch---4 dogs and 5 kids=high risk of inattentiveness in my book!!!
Lynn, Nilla's father died suddenly while on vacation, en route to Maine, died in NYC Janet got the call this morning 5:30 am she is in Hagerstown with family now
God Bless You and the Family, Nilla, prayers for you and your family, I am so sorry ♥
Lolly reasonably good report regarding Jack...therapy can help a LOT, and he can probably do most of what he has been doing all his life, might have some lifting restrictions that's how it was for me... my problems came from differfent things, including several years of baby car seat installations, and working on the Rescue Squad, and probably not enough of the right foods and exercise all throughout that
Lynne2 I second Judie's suggestion...check in with the dentist, even if just a phone call for a consultation if they will do that I am sorry for your pain.... xoxo (( hugs, gentle ones, for you and your jaw ♥ ))
LOL, Kay, I agree about Tom Sweetie and the breakfast menu!!! That's when Margy will know that he might be worth checking out a bit further!!!!
SO sorry to hear about Nilla's father....how very sad for her an dthe family. (((HUGS))) Nilla, and prayers that you willl get answers and find peace through the difficult days ahead.
Oh, thanks, Jo for the Barbara correction.....I messed that up! I am not familiar with B. Willard I'm afraid....guess I need to look at my cheat sheet to see what Iris' cousin's last name is cause I don't remember!
The bird-feedin guy....hmmmmm! Guess he got caught red-handed.....but I do agree that the birds and squirrels throw more seed out on the ground than gets eaten directly from the feeders! So guess he would get charged if THEY did it, too, as it would still attract "rodents."
Wow, how great that a Momster sent flowers on our behalf for Billy's services. Thank you, whoever you are! If you want some cost-share, just give me a holler.
I hear screech owls here quite often. Also Great Horned Owls....see them occassionally.....but have never seen one visit a birdbath. How COOL!
Lolly----I still haven't gotten to a post that says IF Jack found out results...but will say while it's fresh imn my mind: you can always go to the facility where he had it done and request a copy of the report and the CD!!
Read back some and forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BARBARA!!
Saw DanaMo's pool visitor pics. Hard to tell the size--but small rodent. If it's real small, could be a shrew. Maybe a mouse, but why does it like water???? HaVen't seen her ID yet. Saw film of the eagle release toray. It was the juvie found in Ft. Wash., MD that had the infected tail base.
LYNN, you're so sweet ! I think I'm often way too wordy and even preachy. It's kind of like our not liking our own voices--I think many of us admire the writing skills others seem to have ! I'm looking for you or Jo to get to my earlier message re:Bob Hollinger.
LOLLY, super news on Jack's MRI. Hope the therapy does the trick !
LYNNE, oh, no ! All you need is trouble with your jaw---it's been just one thing after another for you and Steve. I know we all wish we could just wiggle our noses and make it all better. I apparently missed any late breaking news on the Mazda, did you get it back yesterday ?
DANAMO, you dood it ! I'm going to e-mail you some of the helpful stuff Lynn, Lolly and the other Dana shared with me back when I was agonizing over the links and symbols.
JO, what is the TinyURL, ? Guess I don't need it since I seem to have mastered the link thing, just curious.
Wanda James has a Peterson Guide for "Young Birders" and each page has "Wow" facts posted we have both learned a lot
Barb posted a few times, and used to be on the E-M emails once in awhile, like Jo said, it was a few years ago, she is a great fan of the Harrisburg Peregrines, right along with Jo Ellen ☺
And thanks Hedgie... ... me too, will be glad to share in the cost of the flowers....What a dear and thoughtful gesture from our Secret Angel here ♥
DanaWV---glad that you were able to talk to Nilla and hope you let her know that we have our arms around her, too. A real shock for the family for sure.
I ended up getting two fillings. Dentist found a cavity on the tooth next to the one that lost the filling---hiding behind where the filling had been. So....hope that is all for a long time!!
Got Liesl lined up at a kennel that gets good recommendations from people I know....but she must have a bordotella vaccine--so a trip to the vet tomorrow afternoon for that. ARGH!
Grosseries in.....cold stuff put away, but I still have a lot to carry down and put on pantry shelves in basement. Got some goodies, too!!
KAY----Bob Hollinger is in PA, in case no one has answered yet! He and Doris used to live across the highway from me a little ways....nice older couple...they lost her granddaughter (whose father worked with my ex at the Air National Guard) to breast cancer last year.....young girl....so very sad.
DANAMO, did you get an ID on the swimmer at the Extension Office ?
HODA, thanks for sharing the Lincoln lesson ! One of the things love about this blog is the wide variety of topics we get into. This is a great place to get a liberal arts education and the price is right. ☺
WANDA, what sweet things you received for the kitchen today ! You work too hard---wish you had more help !
I'd be thrilled to share in the cost of the flowers for the Cochran Family, too. Dear Angel, you could e-mail directly to those of us who've offered to help and we'll keep your idenity a secret, if you wish.
home at last, trying to catch up while Steve showers....
Margy, I am so impressed with James knowing about the NOT eagle sounds in movies...HE ROCKS!!
LOL Wanda....COMPOST PILE indeed!
DanaWV, thanks for the MOON link...I'll have to check it out later!
No Kay, the Mazda isn't fixed. The part came but they "forgot" to call this morning. We have to wait til Monday now to take it down again. I'll stop here, I am really PO'd about all of this.
sounds like you are crossing all the t's and dotting all the i's Lynn got your groceries and finding a home away from home for Liesl Let me know if you need anything while you travel, okay ??
Sorry to hear about Nilla's Dad. Prayers for her and Linda's family.
Lynne, see your dentist, plz! ☺
Glad to hear Jack has no serious problem w/neck. Pain is a problem, but hopefully the therapy will do the trick. Fixed a shoulder blade for me & I was just at the hosp. that AM of the 911 incident!
Lynn, I'll also be glad to donate for flowers sent to Linda's brother. BBL--need a cold something!
MARGY Thanks for the info on the pillow I also have on of those contour one but hasn't done anything for my memory LOL I thought it was something different DANAMO Cool beans your critter came back He is so cute MARGY we got two smurfs today when I took Jordyn there she loves them blue is her favorite color too
Just home from Angies gonna take a shower I had typed the above earlier when I tried to read some of the blog but on the days I have Jordyn she comes first now I have 225 comments to read from 930 am this morning YIEKS I now I will not get it read tonight as I am heading to the shower and to bed I am tired long day in the sun at the park did me in LOL

I just had to stop in and say good night to all my favorite eagle buds
LYNN and MARGY, thanks for the background on Crunch Bob ! Hope he and Doris make it to the Open House next Spring. I'm making notes on the cheat sheet as the months unfold.
LYNN, what the heck is Bordotella ? Glad you've found a good place for little Miss Liesl. It's good that the filling fell out before the trip and now you're all fixed up ! Be very careful on those trips down to the pantry !!!
Oh, happy day, Lolly. Tell Jack I am so relieved that it is just age!!! Hoda, VA Tech is about halfway between here and where Sharon/Sissy/Thelma live. About a four hour drive for me. Don't think we have any Hokies here, but all Virginian's tend to call ourselves Hokie's in our hearts---it is a favorite school! I know lots of people who went there!!
DANAMO, I can't e-mail you from the profile--get some weird message. Go into my profile, e-mail me and I'll send you a bunch of blog message codes, symbols, etc.. Unless you've already received them from another Momster, that is.
LORI, yes I did get some more sleep this morning. Can't say if I'll be up and at em' early again in the morning, but I loved chatting with you today !
It's that time for me again. Will look the TV situation over and if it's no good will head for bed with a book.
Will close my day out with prayers for all in need---we have travelers, grievers, people in pain, people recuperating from surgery and some animals on the list. God bless them all !
Hoda, how cool that you found the piece about the assassination witness! Good ol' Gary Moore!! Amazing that they actually have preserved that tape!!!!! Love it! I'll have to remember to ask my Mom if she remembers seeing it! Bill Cullen....Jayne Meadows.... Poor old fellow took a tumble and got hurt...:( Big pay-off! $80!
Well, I've been trying to catch up and this is what I've discovered:
Lori is headed to Orlando to show off her wax job, Alexis has apparently eaten all the meatballs from Lori's avatar, Lynn has filled her mouth with new silver and is headed to the OBX and is leaving Liesl behind, James the Wise has demonstrated his wisdom regarding hawk versus eagle sounds, Wanda and I have the same problem with critters eating our composting leftovers but Lynne2 does not believe us.
Jo, you don't need to use the tiny url to make a link.
When we first started doing links, we thought we had to condense the website address....that is what tiny url does. You can go to www.tinyurl.com and put in a huge website address, and it spits it out in 6 letters (I think it's 6)....so we would put the tiny url in the first section, just like we are now putting the full web address there.
Any yup, DanaMO had href spelled herf....I saw that too.
Lynn, Jack says to tell you that it is NOT good that it is age....by the time he reaches middle age he will be in bad shape! See....his attitude had already tremendously improved. Back to being a smart a__!
Lynne----I'm surprised you didn't catch the sconces, too!!! Kidding you, Wanda!!!! We all know you meant SCONES!!!! Yummm!!!! I made scones from Chrissy's British recipe last year----they did NOT turn out well! Was going to bring them to our spring gathering.....did NOT happen. I haven't tried again. :(
Nighters to all turning in. Guess i will turn now to the Hagerstown paper---still need to read it! I saw DanaWV's article about the moons in local paper today.
Cooked a delicious dinner tonight...Italian Saugsage with peppers and onions over parmesan cheese grits. Gotta like bell peppers and grits to like this one, but it is so good. We really enjoy it. Then after dinner we did another rolled flank steak. Jack picked up two today, so we will prepare another tomorrow. Wish I could serve all of you this dish. It is out of this world!!!
Oh, I think I could plant a few trees as soon as I get this fence thing straightened out.
As of now, I have only two in the front yard. The HOA requires a minimum of two, and I probably need to plant another one there just in case. I have lost three front-yard trees already.
So, keep the suggestions coming. Maybe I will end up with a forest. We did have a small forest in a previous house because we just left one section wild. Susan considered it "her woods."

Thanks PAULA for telling us the information from "little bird".
LYNN Good luck in finding a place for LIESL...I wished I could dog sit her...
Hello! Peeking in from work....SHHHHHH!
funny how much I depend on the avatars to ID who is here! With everyone honoring Bill today it's harder to tell!

Oh--sorry! My bad--I guess it's Janet who has lost her Dad. So very sorry!
yes Andy, Janet/Nilla's dad. Iris has been absent for some time though and we are hoping all is well.
Thanks Hoda for the news about Va Tech..terrible another incident there!!!!
Noting that tomorrow we'll be honoring Bob Hollinger. There are two Bob's on the cheat sheet, one in Indiana and one in Pennsylvania. Please tell us newbies which one he is and a little background, pretty please !

HOW RUDE OF ME THANKS FOR THE NEW THREAD STEVE

Back from unloading the truck, loading the van and unloading the van and then unloading the boxes and loading the pantry and the fridge:) Too hot to stand in a parking lot and wait on your pile of goodies to be unloaded. Now have Jack's MRI report....all is well. Prayers work!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
There is some deterioration, but no more than would be expected for his age. They are lining up some therapy for him.☺
I see a big change in him. This plus the MRI was really getting to him.
Thanks for the update, Lolly. Nice to know that the news is good and that Jack is in a better frame of mind.
Virginia Tech is not too far from Bluefield, West Virginia, Hoda. But I do not think anyone on here lives close to the campus.
And Bluefield is not that close.
VA Map
Va Tech is in Blacksburg. It is a very large school. I do know a number of people who have gone there, including my daughter's boyfriend.
Thanks to the anonymous Momster/Dadster who sent the flowers to honor Linda's brother.
What eagle are they talking about on ABC7 news being released back into the wild?
Thanks Steve!
I think there was a release at Mason Neck State Park, DanaMo.
http://wj.la/nF1ySk
Eagle link
Hmm...how do you do a link. I thought I could just copy and past, but it didn't come up blue like a link should.
Eagle Release
Something has gone horrible wrong with my left jaw where it attaches to my head. I opened my mouth to eat my sandwhich and heard cracking. I'm in a LOT of pain, and can barely open my mouth. My teeth are very sore in the back. I can't even talk normally! UGH UGH UGH

Very nice piece about the eagle. Mason Neck. I guess that's the one everyone had been talking about, I just hadn't realized it when I saw it as a coming up story.
Just watched Ed Clark release the eagle at Mason Neck on Channel 7.
Shirley, Puppy Limp, AKA Panosteitis couldn't be what Flash has...it's a puppy thing that they out grow. Dr Baker recommends Lyme test to start, if one hasn't been done.
Gotta run again...
Okay giving it a try.
Thanks, Lynne.
No, Flash is not a puppy. Will talk with Kathryn.
How is your jaw?
now I feel stupid. I can't do the hyperlink even with the directions.
IT HURTS REALLY BAD!!!!!
Don't worry DanaMo, you'll get the hang of it!
Sounds like TMJ disorder, Lynne. Maybe you should call your dentist.
I can't get it!!!
BBL. Need to take Hunter to football practice. Thank goodness it is a bit cooler today.
Will explain more when I return, DanaMo.
There will be no calls to the dentist. I will look at this as the answer to my prayer to be able to keep from eating too much....now I can loose weight!!
Dana, start with
<a href="
tag is not closed?
<a herf="http://www.wjla.com/articles/2011/08/rescued-bald-eagle-takes-flight-64673.html>
grrrr
then past the web link, the after that do ">
your forgot the " after you pasted the link
so you did it right, just need the " after html but before the <
Then type your tile, like Eagle releas,
followed by < / a>
but WITHOUT the spaces no spaces
then, Hold down the X key on your keyboard and repeat 3 times
I AM SMARTER THAN MY COMPUTER
you've given up, haven't you??
LOL~
BBL
DAnAmo I was just like you about making a link.
After you copy the address:
1.Open <
2.a {leave space}
3.href={Paste the address}
4.Close >
The only area with space is between a and href.
5.TYPE THE TITLE YOU WANT TO APPEAR IN RED.
6.Open <
7. /
8.a
9.Close >
and voila you have a link.
I hope this helps.
Hoda, your links are RED? I've only ever seen BLUE!
<a herf="http://www.wjla.com/articles/2011/08/rescued-bald-eagle-takes-flight-64673.html"<
I do not put the " and it has turned out for me...let me go see a link I want to post here.
Take care of your jaw LYNNE 2
Talk to you later SHIRLEY
LOL! It won't work!
OH NO I messed up...after html it's >then title
then< / a >
<a herf="http://www.wjla.com/articles/2011/08/rescued-bald-eagle-takes-flight-64673.html> eagle release </a>
OMG I must be driving you guys nuts!

Hello everyone.
Need to attend to dinner. Will return later.
I am writing sympathy cards...this is a welcome distraction!
YAY!!!
How much is too much!!!
WHAT IS THE CORRECT PORTION?
So I hope this works as these are the steps I wrote out for DANAMO
oh that post didn't come at the right time, not yay to writing sympathy cards :(
ok, you have a link but it's not connecting....make sure you don't have any spaces between htlm">and the title
Lynne2, please see your dentist. Not a good way to lose weight and you really do not need the pain.
It didn't work?
I'm just going to have to ride it out Judie. We just dropped a lot of money into the car and we don't have it. Hopefully will be gone in a day or two!
still didn't work....no spaces anywhere, right? only between a and href, and you can us spaces in the title but not where you start and finish the title.
yours worked Hoda
LYNNE 2 all the links on the blog show up as red here...do they show up as blue there?
The instructions I posted DANAMO are the steps I took to post the portions link. I hope it works for you.
Yes Hoda...they are all BLUE links! Wonder why yours are RED?? Too funny!
shucks, gotta go, BBL
That's exactly what I did and it didn't work.
LYNNE so strange all the links here show in red!!!LOL
DANAMO give it a rest and try again later. I find that when I leave it alone for a bit I can catch what I am missing. I know how frustrating it can be becauwse I have been there.
I can't make musical notes either. Maybe its something in my computer.
Good Evening Eagle Family!
Lolly, great news on Jack's MRI that it's not more serious. You will probably see his mood lighten up. Ahhhh, relief!
Prayers for Janet/Nilla and family.
Thanks to anonymous Momster for the flowers - Linda will appreciate it.
KAY, thanks so much for emailing the link formula this morning. Seeing DANAMO go through that reminded me!
eagle release
I have to tell the truth...my 20 year old had to help me.
which REALLY pisses me off!!!
HURRAH for your 20 year old and for you DANAMO, you asked and you got the help...
THANKS for the link it worked.
I appreciated seeing the video.
GREAT NEWS LOLLY for Jack's MRI report. Thank you for sharing and I wish him and you the best always.
I agree, I would love to have a visit from our eagles!
YAY DanaMo!
Pretty quiet day here for a change!
But I must go now....BBL
Thanks DanaMo for continuing to get the link up. The other page did not have the video that your link had. Thanks I love seeing that video.
Good team work!!!! Even from the 20 yr old. ( :
LOLLY so happy that Jack's MRI show the normal dengeneration for his age.
Prayers will continue for him to feel better. I know just him knowing makes him feel better that way and you too. HUGS
I see you got the link thing, DanaMo.
Glad they have put the video on now.
OMGosh I had no idea that Lyme could hit so fast in dogs!
Lynne2 How are you feeling now?
WANDA sounds like the soup kitchen got some nice items.
LAST SURVIVING WITNESS OF LINCOLN ASSASSINATION
I thought this was amazing, I do not know why it was published today but it tells about history which is why I post it.
The chap died two months after this recording in 1956.
Very interesting link, Hoda. We always watched I've Got a Secret. Can't say I remember this particular program, though.
Time to get dinner ready. BBL.
Goodnight.
Too many typos there - definitley time for bed. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I know on here how some are always talking about the MOON.
Earth once had 2 moons and Saturn and Jupiter have more than 60 moons each now
Good Night Lori !!
xoxo Sleep Sweeeeetly ♥
Good Evening Everybody!
Hope it was a cooler day!
Had appt this morning, after lunch had a Panda nap.
Been out this evening trimming dead flowers, etc. One I thought was going to croak made a comeback. Think it was the weather--New Guinea Impatiens. They usually do better in heat/sun than the regular imps, but this year took a toll.
I keep getting an error from OC to access the webcam...Are you able to see it? I have the still cam up..
Here I am-----finally! One tired peep, I'll tell you that! Don't know if I'll ever get caught up with y'all!!!! I'll start and see how far I get!!!!
Welcome Home Lynn
Hope the tooth doctor treated you well
Good Evening - we've returned from a delightful dinner with daughter and hubby. Now we're home and relaxing.
Question: Do any of you when making the
blue link use TinyURL?
Lynn hope your dental went well
Lynne, sounds like you need dental!
BBILW
Lynn,
Nilla's father died suddenly while on vacation, en route to Maine, died in NYC
Janet got the call this morning
5:30 am
she is in Hagerstown with family now
God Bless You and the Family, Nilla, prayers for you and your family, I am so sorry ♥
Lovely gesture from one of our Momsters...who sent flowers to the funeral home for Linda's brother Bill, from the Momsters ♥
Thank You !
I, too, enjoyed the slideshow of Billy and his family.
KAY---you are NOT an unlikely friend! We don't tolerate/abide your presence---we love it and EXPECT it!!!!
You can tell, I'm still on the old thread!!!!
Lolly
reasonably good report regarding Jack...therapy can help a LOT, and he can probably do most of what he has been doing all his life, might have some lifting restrictions
that's how it was for me...
my problems came from differfent things, including several years of baby car seat installations, and working on the Rescue Squad, and probably not enough of the right foods and exercise all throughout that
Prayers for a complete Restoration to good health
JMHO...but the car-washing lad from WV on America's Got Talent is a better Frank Sinatra than Russo is!!
Lynne2
I second Judie's suggestion...check in with the dentist, even if just a phone call for a consultation if they will do that
I am sorry for your pain....
xoxo
(( hugs, gentle ones, for you and your jaw ♥ ))
and glad to read that Brother Cat seems to doing okay these days
Good Evening Eagle Pals
xoxo ♥
Lynne
James read in one of his nature books that movie scripters sometimes use the RT Hawk sound for Eagles...he knew right away that was NOT right !!
Hey Loretta
I took a nap too
glad it sounds like an OK day for you, yay on the resurrection of the plant
Sure would be nice to see an eagle or two at the Palace
too cloudy here to see baby moon which I know is out there in the West somewhere
Jo
I don't use tiny URL, I don't think
I see it on my blogspot but never researched what it means !
Glad you enjoyed your evening earlier and hope the rest is good too
Okay Wanda, hope you are resting up also, that's a lot of work organizing all that food
God Bless You and your Church Cohorts xoxo
bbl ttfn xoxox
Oh, thanks, Jo for the Barbara correction.....I messed that up! I am not familiar with B. Willard I'm afraid....guess I need to look at my cheat sheet to see what Iris' cousin's last name is cause I don't remember!
Hmmm, wonder how James knew about the RTHawk and the Eagle?
Barbara Willard once in awhile once upon a time
blogged as
Greymare
Happy Birthday once again, Greymare !! xoxo ♥
The bird-feedin guy....hmmmmm! Guess he got caught red-handed.....but I do agree that the birds and squirrels throw more seed out on the ground than gets eaten directly from the feeders! So guess he would get charged if THEY did it, too, as it would still attract "rodents."
Don't feel bad, Lynn, I thought it was Iris's cousin, also...B Willard must be from long ago.
Hooray for the memory of our 911 operator...important in that particular positin!:)
Wow, how great that a Momster sent flowers on our behalf for Billy's services. Thank you, whoever you are! If you want some cost-share, just give me a holler.
What, me feed animals? No, I just throw left-overs in my COMPOST pile;)
Animals keep eating left-overs and now I have no compost:(
I hear screech owls here quite often.
JIM---can't believe that you were up so early again today!!!! I hope you are going back to bed mid-morning when you get up at the crack of dawn!!!!
Lucky JudyE to also have a Squadron!! Get your son to take you there---all guys like the atmosphere!!!!
WHEW---made it through the old thread!!!
Now to start on this one!!!
Howdy Hoda! Thanks for the callover, lo these many hours ago!
Wanda
James has a Peterson Guide
for "Young Birders" and each page has "Wow" facts posted
we have both learned a lot
Got some goodies, too!!
someone correct me if I am wrong
but Birthday boy coming is our crunch bob...and he would be from PA not Indiana
He and Doris came to Open House last year, and I think the rainy year before that also
KAY----Bob Hollinger is in PA, in case no one has answered yet!
I'll stop here, I am really PO'd about all of this.
sounds like you are crossing all the t's and dotting all the i's Lynn
got your groceries
and finding a home away from home for Liesl
Let me know if you need anything while you travel, okay ??
Sorry to hear about Nilla's Dad. Prayers for her and Linda's family.
Lynne, see your dentist, plz! ☺
Glad to hear Jack has no serious problem w/neck. Pain is a problem, but hopefully the therapy will do the trick. Fixed a shoulder blade for me & I was just at the hosp. that AM of the 911 incident!
Lynn, I'll also be glad to donate for flowers sent to Linda's brother.
BBL--need a cold something!
and yes Thanks DanaWV
for extending the Momster arms and hugs out to Nilla
Wanda---I've never eaten sconces! Crunch, crunch!!!
LOL!
Speaking of which---Crunch is Bob's name on here, KAY!
MARGY Thanks for the info on the pillow I also have on of those contour one but hasn't done anything for my memory LOL I thought it was something different

I have copied your Gingerbread Man instructions out and will keep trying to find him !!
Thanks for your effort on that
Good Night xoxox
LYNNE----what did you do???? Did you dislocate it?? Or is it a TMJ thing??? Hoping that as I read I get more info!! Prayers for you....:(
Lynn, I prayed to the Lord to help me eat less, and to keep my big mouth shut. My prayer has been answered!
DANAMO-----it's href, NOT herf!!!! In case you haven't gotten it figured out yet!!!!
DANAMO, I can't e-mail you from the profile--get some weird message. Go into my profile, e-mail me and I'll send you a bunch of blog message codes, symbols, etc.. Unless you've already received them from another Momster, that is.
I see she got it!! Hurray, Dana!
It just takes practice. I'll email you the link for directions on the musical notes, etc.!
Hoda, how cool that your links are in red!!!! That would really make them stand out!!!
OMG and LOL,.....good call Lynn, I didn't see it was herf instead of href!! DUH! So sorry Dana.....
Tiny URL--I believe it is the name for the link that DanaMo just learned to do.
♥L♥I♥B♥E♥R♥T♥Y !!!!!!!
Nighty Night ☼HI☼ Sunshine ♥
heading to bed, my early day tomorrow. Good night and prayers for all!
Lolly, happt to hear of Jack's MRI results
Lynne, sorry to hear about your jaw :(
Hoda, my cam is working fine, it's darks, but it's running.
♫♫ HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARBARA ♫♫
Wanda, how is your knee feeling??
That particular Garry Moore has two r's in his name. If you try to Google him, you will find another guy with one r.
and Paula
how is your foot feeling?
Or make that foot ankle
Hello !
Shirley
If you do want a redbud
I have two baby ones in flower pots here
would be happy to share
they are heart leaf trees ☺
Lynn, Jack says to tell you that it is NOT good that it is age....by the time he reaches middle age he will be in bad shape!
See....his attitude had already tremendously improved. Back to being a smart a__!
I read what you posted about not needing to plant any more trees
Yes, I was thinking the same thing, Lynn. Eighty dollars! Wow.
Hmm, so that isn't a tiny URL. Okay.
Lynne2, seems as if the news is positive about Brother Cat.
Positive thoughts for Robyn and Tori as they make their way to Denver and for Tori's improvement.
Candy, good news about the eye surgery. Very happy for you.
Shirley, so sorry about the pet concerns. I really hope things will improve quickly.
Andy, so sorry about Marq and so relieved he was not seriously injured. Wish him a speedy recovery from any aches and pains.
Hoda, you really had me going for a second or two. I mean really, how old would that assassination witness be?
Crunch Bob and Doris live in PA.
David and Alexandra have fledged. No Hornby Island camera next year.
Hi Loly
Hello Smart A.. Jack!
We're roaring towards a SPLIT by the way
okay back to stickers, stamps and address labels
Loly
LOL
You know who I mean ☺
Hi Judie, you are a Stitch
Night Lynne! Sorry about your jaw. Be careful what you pray about!☺ Maybe it just sorta popped today and will be fine in the morning. Hoping so!!!
Paula, how's the ankle? Better, I hope.
Wanda, sure hope you didn't stress your knee with all the soup kitchen delivery.
Also, I would be happy to help reimburse for the flowers.
Going to watch the news. Will return before the sandperson gets me tonight.
