Didn't see that split coming--I'm just not terribly observant tonight !
LYNN, I truly hate flying now--no fear of flying, just hate the airport, baggage, take off the shoes kind of hassle. Will opt to drive if at all possible. I do fly to NJ a time or two a year, son pays for the tickets. I don't like the heavy traffic encountered once you leave PA and enter Joisey or I'd drive. It's about a 1¼ flight--Julie drops me at the Port Columbus door and Lee meets me in Newark, so it's pretty easy. It is on a commuter sized, about 60 passenger plane and I'd prefer a bigger jet, of course.

Fell asleep! I am now ready for bed and heading that way!
No, Lynn, it is just in the summer that the water bill is horrible and then it is usually only one month that is sky high. However, does not look good for this summer. So far the only water restrictions we have is no watering between 10 AM and 6 PM. However, I am sure it will soon be really restricted. I will obey any restrictions....with a heavy heart.
Right now they are telling us to cut back on electricity. Talking about having rolling black outs. That scares me! Can not imagine doing without AC, not even 20 minutes!
Shirley, saw the bear video the first time you put it up. Wonder why Hoda could not see it?

Good very early morning to everyone stillhere. Have tried to catch up, thus this late post.
Skipped a few days of email too and had that to catch up on. Now that Jim is back to his work week I hope to be here more often.
BTW= The eagle angel(s) sent a beautiful basket to Linda. I would be honored to contribute if someone would contact me. The choice was full of beautiful plants. I did see she was on briefly and thanking momsters & dadsters. Pray she and Dennis have a safe trip home.
I have a question. Did not look it up yet, but do hummingbirds have a sense of smell? I swear if I don't see them for a day or two and replace the nectar they are here lickity split. This happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks.
Lolly, is Jack any good at shooting groundhogs? Saw one go through our side yard and garden today and not happy the have him here. I used to be a good shot but with this metal shoulder not sure I'd be as accurate.
If anyone can get the Hallmark Movie Channel, they have some great movies on everyday and especially on the weekends. If you get a chance, "The Cabin" is a good one. I'm glued to watching "Murder She Wrote" and "Matlock."
Love shows that I can't figure out the guilty person until the end. I get bored with the shows that I can tell how they end.
Must say my prayers for all needs and wants, safe travels, and a restful sleep for those already in dreamland.

Kay, I absolutely love to fly....miss it actually. But they've taken all the fun out of it. And figure that unless I can get a commuter flight out of Hagerstown (only goes to Baltimore or Pittsburgh), I have t0o allow at least 2 hrs. to get to airport for a 2 hr. ahead check-in....seems like such a waste of time!!

The Vienna Ballet did an excellent job with THE SWAN LAKE. Nureyev was spectacular and he coreographed this particular production too. I like DVD's for such wonderful performances can be seen in small towns like Nelson.

Well, think I am going to call it a day. My right foot is bothering me a lot today. Feels like arthritis in my arch. Need to go put it up and give it a rest. Did a lot of grossery shopping today, and that foot is NOT happy about it. Have said prayers for everyone, and all creatures. Making sure the porch light is on to guide latecomers in. spent the last 4 hours watching wheels turn very slowly with my brother in law at the ER.
He has lots of chronic medical conditions, problem tonight included cellulitis in one leg, pretty severe swelling in both legs and also abdomen
Computers were down at the hospital, we (another of HIS brothers-in-law) and I had to spend a lot of time recounting and repeating! lots of info about his past medical history...they almost didn't think they were going to admit but somehow reason and the consult of his regular doctor won out...he needs aggressive I-V antibiotic treatment, always does when this happens, the ER doc considered sending him home with a take at home antibiotic. NOT OKAY!
But Bro-in-law IS admitted...
He should be okay in a couple of days, but he surely needed to be admitted !

Hot dogs in broiler---too wet to grill!
Cleaning the leak spots off the carpet will have to wait until I get back from our little jaunt....I put things back in place on the deck, but will have to move it again in order to clean that carpet off.
Maybe I'll get the railing wiped down this afternoon....MAYBE.... :)
