No, they did not cover the pre game show, but got a glimpse of the band on the field. So happy for them that they had this experience...what a year for those kids!

Hunter got interested in football because of his Uncle Rus. The funny thing is that Rus never played football. He got interested when he grew up. He said that he got interested when he realized that it is a game of strategy, not just muscle.

My Pittsburgh friend--retired English teacher--will not be happy now.
I finished writing my Beowulf test for tomorrow. I was able to take the test I wrote for my regular class and beef it up for my honors class.
The state of Virginia is working on a computer program so they can match teachers with their students' SOL scores.
I sincerely hope that they will realize that high SOL scores do not necessarily mean a good teacher, nor do low SOL scores mean a bad teacher.
You cannot expect a teacher of special education or a teacher with struggling students to produce the same scores as a teacher with AP or honors classes.
Excuse the ranting. Just wanted to say it.

Wanda they have the trail cam - it is way down the hill... this crazy bear came up to the house... it is the same bear they had captured on the trail cam.

Maybe the bear went by the cam on his way to the house. She have to check out her card in the morning. We haven't had much action since this snow, will check ours out in the morning.

Back from a nice time up at John's. I thought the Pepsi Max commercials were funny! And I liked the beaver one. Missed the gas station one.
Gianni is not quite walking yet, maybe a step or two...but she sure can push the baby stroller.
It was nice to get out of the house. Also went over and thanked my neighbor. He came over on Friday night and put Boo in the car for me. There was no way I could have carried him out to the car...he weighed 95lbs.
Nugz is OK this evening, but I made a mistake. I moved Boo's collar, and he heard the tags jingle, and was running around looking for him. I'll have to be careful about that right now.
Just waiting for weather report and then I'm heading for the tub. See you all tomorrow. Hope our MIA's are all okay. Hope Paula had fun at the party. And hope Steeler fans aren't TOO bummed.

Make sure you turn up the volume on the cam when you open it. It is usually not all the way up when it first opens. That will give you better sound.

Glad so many of you took a moment to check out Glo's Glimpses today. The eagles did in fact cooperate. I am sure they had hunkered down during the storm and were very ready for fishing come Thurs. So I think today is definitely egg watch day/night. We know we will all love 1 2 or 3 little egglets in that nest for our new season.
