I've had a mockingbird that goes after my cats. They are brave little birdies!

Good Morning in Eagle Land to All and to lurkers.

I heard a noise outside my home just awhile ago. I opened the door to find a robin looking at me. No the noise was not the robin. It was the trash can moved. Think someone ABOVE was giving me a chance to see that "robin" ( :

I have to catch up on comments.

Lynn I did vote for Mai and left a comment.

Sad we will have to wait and see what goes on with the bears. Thank you for posting.

No, Lori, Capt. Gene is good, but not that good:) We get he canes at the gift shop at NCTC for $14. Well worth the money for me. I have a knee that wants to do it's own thing, so I use the eagle cane to make it do what I want it to do...at least until I can get a knee replacement!

Hey Dana, good morning!

I was once a lurker until I got the courage to "come in." ☺

So if you're just hanging around and want to be a part of this great Eagle community, step on in!

Lori O. said...

Thanks Wanda - I'll have to keep that in mind and take my cash to the nest trip in May...once I find a cure for the common tick. lol

Hey, DANA, we're going to try to take GG to China City Friday. My kids are all going to Nags Head:( So, I thought that would be a good time to try to get GG out of the house. You know, she does love crab legs. It's like dangling a carrot in front of a rabbit;)

DANA has been with this group since day 1, Lori. She is an 'old timer'. Tee Hee

She has some medical problems that makes her uncomfortable and she has to rest and prop up often, so she is not on here as often as she used to be.

Lori O. said...

DANA how far are you West Virginians from Conowingo Dam? I just saw your "I need a new camera" pictures.

wvgal_dana said...

Hi Lori Wanda and Gene can tell you better than me how far we are from the Conowingo Dam. They are the ones that took the group there in the Eagle Express (their RV).

I did get a camera. You will never believe this one. Those of you that know the problems I had after catract surgery. Well sometimes in taking a picture. If I sure the zoom it "affects my eyes" terrible.
Ain't that a grap!! Oh well life moves forward. That is my new thing---"Look Forward".

Wanda the birds love dog and cat hair. I did see Shirley had mentioned that. I put out light blending colors of strings and thread for the birds. They love it.

Prayers for Luna's surgery today. God one of your doggie creatures need you Helping HANDS.

Prayers for Lynne Soper I am very worried about her condition.

Good Tues. AM!

Just got an email from Lynne----they are on their way to the ER. She will try to keep me posted. Sure glad she is finally going!

I am trying to get hold of my dr. I now have a full-blown (punny!) sinus infection, so I will need to be seen tpday before it can move into my chest.

hedgie said...

Turns out that this vote for Mai is like so many others we have done: 24 hr. time cycle for voting! So please don't forget to vote again LATER in the day!!!

glo said...

Good morning everyone. Yes I tried to vote for Mai first thing while I was remembering and see I need to wait for 24 hours. The good news is that right now I did think of it first thing so hopefully I will rethink of it again. LOL

Dex and i will be off to get the oil changed in a couple of hours. First time I have actually put 3000 miles and less than 3 months on this car between oil changes.

Enjoy your day. Anxious to hear how Lynne makes out at ER. Very glad indeed that she is going there.

hedgie said...

Lori, Margy was off last night and returns to day shift tomorrow, so your nighttime bud won't be anymore! But with an 8AM shift start, I'm sure she'll pop on a few times before she heads out the door! But it sure is nice to have you spending so much time here!!!

NO-NO on using the sparkly yarn!! It is metal-based......I would be afraid of entanglement that could be dangerous to a little foot or beak!!!!

Got an apptmt. for 3:15! Yea!

Costume Lady said...

OK, Lynn, no sparkles:)

Lynn,my friends can't find a way to vote. The site says, the page is not available or something to that effect??? HELP!

Morning, all.

Looks like Belle in the nest...think I just missed an egg roll.

OH, as an FYI, osprey are on their migration move! Some have already been spotted in Virginia!

Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful day in the beautiful sunshine we have now.

Speaking of "happy sunshine" where's Lolly?

I'm off to the eye docs to get some new glasses, YAH!

So sorry to have appeared disinterested in everyone - I got on the blog, or so I thought, and I was on a whole other page so I didn't see the new posts.

Good morning Lynn and Paula!

I'll miss my night time Margy, but thanks for letting me know.

Extra love and prayers for Luna's surgery today.

Dana, I'm so happy you got a new camera! It makes a big difference. Keep "looking forward." ♥

Rabbit! Rabbit!

Lynn, we have four computers, so I have voted yesterdday and today. Mai has to win!

Praying for Luna.

And poor Lynne. She has been sick several times lately and it is worse everytime. Hope their is someone in the ER that will help her.

Busy, busy time in Eagleland. It is great to see all the eggs and already some bobbleheads.

Take care everyone.

paula eagleholic said...

Both at BWE, now chicks uncovered

NCSuzan said...

Paula, read you went "home" this weekend. Sounds like you have found a true sanctuary there. That's awesome.

paula eagleholic said...

Hi Suzan!

hedgie said...

Hi, Suzan! Thanks for voting!!! Please do it every day!!
How are things down your way???

NCSuzan said...

Nature Nut, I just got a new HP laptop and I love it. Think you will be happy with a HP too. Plus the screen is 17 inch and between my old laptop and this one I can have many nests and cams up at the same time.

NCSuzan said...

Lynn, it has been beautiful, warm and very breezy! Sorry you are feeling poorly. My daughter has sinus infections so I know how badly you feel. Glad you are getting to see the doctor this afternoon.

Lolly said...

Good morning! Lori, I am in Texas, an hour behind you. Also, I slept in this morning and then read the paper before getting on. I am s-l-o-w in the mornings....that's what retirement is all about!☺

Chilly here this morning, but already up to 50, heading to the 70's. Tulips will be blooming soon, red buds are starting and seeing lots of trees with green. Hang in there everyone...spring is a comin!!!

Lolly said...

I figured we would have to wait the 24 hours to vote. We have two computers but one email address, guess it is address not computers or am I wrong?

paula eagleholic said...

Lolly, try it from each one and see what happens!

So glad to know spring is starting to arrive for you!

Mema Jo said...

Morning! Is it true about 'in like a lamb - out like a lion' ? Kristen is here with me and said there were about 50 red winged blackbirds in their yard this morning - Now that is SPRING !
So thankful that Lynne is on her way to the ER - Sure hope they completley test her out all over!

Lynn - glad your doc realizes when you call you know what's going on and what needs to be done.

I have pulmonary doc tomorrow - just a sit down visit-no CT or blood work this time.

I also get a new do tomorrow! My head is heavy!!!

hedgie said...

Wanda....Carolyn just told me about your sweet comment on the voting!!! Thank you!!!! Didn't even realize there were comments! Gotta go look!!!

Lolly said...

Wahoooo! It worked! Just cast another vote for Mai on the pc. So, in the mornings I vote on it and in the afternoon on my laptop. She is now at 19%!!!!!!

No, Lolly, it's computer, not email address! I think each puter has it's own ISp or some such identifier. Email doesn't matter!

Jo, actually March is "in like a lion, out like a lamb".....don't know what Sissy meant on FB!

Mema Jo said...

I haven't been on FB yet....
To me the weather is like a lamb - calm
Going out like a lion - wind, rain, snow Grrrrrrrrrrr!

I'll need to look on FB

Costume Lady said...

Mai Yin is #1 at 19%, next in line is Leonardo at 14%. Lolly check out the Leonardo info on you Facebook...Is that supposed to be there? Looks like a solicitation for a vote for Leonardo??

hedgie said...

Jo, Feb. went out like a lion, for sure!!!! But this is MARCH----which is the traditional lion/lamb month.

Mema Jo said...

Love your pic Wanda!

Lynn - has nothing to do with Feb....

“If March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb?"

It is here like a lamb and it's going to go out like a lion I'm afraid
