Norma, gestation for a Giant panda is 3 to 6 months, she was AI'd in January...if she has a cub, she will not go back in December, if she does not have a cub, who knows, up to the Chinese.

I have a question: Is there a problem with sound at our nest?
I have the video, but no sound and a continual circling arrow. I've downloaded everything I can think of and some things I never heard of, still NO SOUND. I guess I can live without sound, as long as I have movement. Would be nice to hear the peeps of our little Palmer when he/she comes.

Sharon, hope you have beautiful weather for your trip to Norfolk. Enjoy your TRAIN ride, but I am most jealous of your trip to NBG. Jack and I enjoyed it, but we only had time to run in, see the nest, take a few pictures and leave. Hopefully you can really enjoy the gardens as well. Of course, I am not sure how they will look this time of year.
I got to BW too late to see the feeding, but wow, look at all those fish. The pantry is well stocked! No hungry eagles there!

My girls are still feeling really puny. Jenn (11) apparently the worst...most of the night with vomiting and diarrhea. Carolyn feeling so weak. She kept Jess home from school to not only nurse the sickies, but so that she didn't have to go pick her up from school if it hits her, too. Charlie okay so far, but busy trying to get his truck back on the road---having to replace the rear end.

Joseph had the yukkies a couple weeks ago, Laurel got a touch of it, but thankfully Jacob never did. However, one morning after Laurel and Joseph left for school, Jacob told his daddy his tummy hurt. Joey, who takes him to school, kept him home. He was then fine all day. Later, when talking with Laurel, he told her "I faked Daddy today." Oh, was he in TROUBLE! A five year old did that!
Well Good Morning - I haven't read all comments but Lolly's Jacob comment has be belly laughing. He couldn't help but brag! lol
I have been looking at pics from Germany of SGT PATRICK. He re-enlisted for 3 years today. They are awaiting orders about their departure from Germany to North Carolina. I pray and ask for prayers that they will be home for Turkey Day 2010!

Have walked and now off to get beautiful. Need to run some errands today. Thankfully bright sunshine, 63, and no more rain chance until Thursday. I think I will even have the van washed. What a novel idea!
That reminds me, Jo. The other day I mentioned hp to Chrissy. She wrote back that she did not know what hp was. I forgot to educate her! Need to do that.

Hello all! Been outside all day enjoying the weather! Took Daisy for our exercise walk (almost 4 miles, much of it uphill, and NOT a gentle slop either) early, and have been out putzin' around in the yard getting things cleaned up.

I have been drastically changing my eating habits and exercising every day and I am happy to say that in just over a week I have lost 5lbs!! And I have just about quit smoking too!!

coming to my house soon
The tulips are up out of the ground at least 2 inches.
In for a water break....who knew so many weeds could be in my flower beds already! My crocus are blooming like crazy, the hyacinths are up, the tulips are up, the pansies are coming back and some are already blooming, my day lilies are up, the shrubs are budding and the daffodils are up! And the bees and hornets are out! Got the windows open and I'm "Weeding to the Oldies"!! I LOVE SPRING!
