I did get a reply from Outdoor Channel on the cam in firefox...they said it should work...not sure why my won't at times...I think I did get it to work the other night when we were having issues, but can't recall if it finally worked in IE or firefox.

It looks like Deb's Vikings nearly won a ticket to the Super Bowl. And the Colts will make the trip too.

Well the games are over for the day and I"m wiped out. Had a good bit of pain today in fake shoulder and knee.

Watched the Eagle show on PBS--hadn't seen it before. Had a bit of a short panda nap, too.
Feeling a little better--think the Mucinex DM is helping. Not coughing as much.
Lynn, Big Bear does often get snow, but right now they have SO MUCH snow, that yesterday skiers were unable to get in or out of there! One degree is a lower temp than usual, too. Has been in the teens there lately, and next week should be a low in the 20s.
Well, I'm pretty tired, so think I'll say goodnight now. Prayers have been said for everyone. The night light is on, the porch light is movement-sensitive, and the eye scanner is enabled. Sleep snug and warm, and have sweet dreams. Talk to you tomorrow! Goodnight, all, and God bless! Love you guys! :o]

Finland is up and running, Finney still shows the 2010 calendar on its home page, Finney should be up and running late March early April.....Loretta, the address I posted is the Finland winter feeding grounds, and sea eagles aka white tail eagles are there at times, along with ravens, buzzards, magpies, hoodies, fox, squirrle, etc...

What a night here, power has been on and off since 2am, it's on...it's off...winds came thru here, sounded like a train was passing by. Very little sleep, but so happy to have power right now.

Helen, you mentioned that you would like to go to New Orleans when Jubby retires...I think I mentioned before, after we were there, that the parts of the city that most tourists visit are virtually untouched by the hurricane. The poorer neighborhoods are STILL devistated...blue tarps everywhere. Debris still pilled up and very unsanitary looking.

Lori, I have often thought the same thing about banding of our eagles. Wouldn't it be interesting to know where they have been and where they are now? It was fun watching the trip that the California eagle took, although he did end up dead on the side of the road...that's nature.

Jan 25 Strong Storm Raging – Camera feed DownThere is a very strong storm crossing southeast Virginia this morning. The camera feed to WVEC is down again. Camera is working. As of 7:35 the eagles have NOT come to the nest. Must be sitting tight in their roost tree this morning. Me too. Have not gone to end of driveway to get the newspaper and risk getting conked in the head by a falling tree branch.

wow- what a downpour that was that just passed over us. Bus was 30 minutes late, sat at the bus stop so long,the road back to the house had started to flood.

Well, my roof is leaking, and not to be outdone by that, the basement has now begun flooding... and I would run away from home, but I only have a quarter tank of gas.

Yeah, sump pump is working, probably became ovewhelmed when it was pouring, basement has a bad habit of flooding....
just found a GIANT tree in the woods that fell, probably what was hitting the power lines all nite, it has crashed the neighbor's fence. that is gonna be fun to deal with.
There is a pigeon here walking around on the roof, must be somebody's pet.

Good morning everyone. I hear your rain. We have snow again. Haven't seen the sun in like 2 weeks. Back from coffee and dog treats. Think i will head to the shelter today for a while since this is definitly not a day for photographing the eagles that are there. Hope your day goes OK> Wish I could make the heavy rain and winds move out to sea quickly . Glad lib and Belle are hunkered down elsewhere besides sitting in the middle of it in the nest.

Just watched that pigeon come zooming up the driveway, quite a beautiful bird, he was really fast, and now he's gone. Hopefully back to his coop. Must've gotten lost in the storm. We've had one in our yard before, someone nearby must keep them.
