Earlier when Hidey had her back at the launch pad. She scared me to death. Thought she was going to step off the nest. Glad she went and laid now. Like watching practice wing exercises.
Your welcome Ricky. We have many many more!! Mainly the eagle and osprey are the cams we are watching now. Hopefully there will be a new panda cub and we will watch it after all our fine feathered friends make their first flight and stop coming to the nest. Remember though that the Adults stay here in this area all year. Our food from the River is ok as it doesn't freeze over. How is the weather up there in Long Is?
Hi Gang, we made the news!Even Brian Williams on 7PM mentioned it. Blew up real fine! We went out to dinner & went to Applebees at Mall right across the street from mall w/explosion.It was so crowded, we went someplace else, miles away. According to the news, a gas leak had been reported at that end of shopping center, so I think buildings had been evacuated.Wash. Gas & firetrucks were there when the rooves blew off about 3 bldgs. Firemen were injured by flying glass, but no one seriously hurt.It was filmed by firetruck cameras. My VERY favorite lunch pick up place was one of them! Ledo's Pizza. I get their salads all the time to take to work!Their House dressing--creamy parmessan is to die for.All the staff in there are foreign, they call me Lowreeda! Entire Center & all roads in and out are closed! It blew 1/2 hour before I went to dentist & I never heard a thing--couple miles from home.
Lowreeda, glad you are all right. Sorry about your favorite lunch place. I know what you mean about having a favorite. We went to Ryan's Steakhouse yesterday and I really pigged out. It was like "Yum,yum, give me sum." They have 6 buffet bars. Mema Jo, thanks for helping me with the link. MAYBE, eventually, I will get all these links straight.
I know one thing, I have definitely got to make me a cheat sheet with the sites and a cheat sheet with everyone's name on it. I get totally confused sometimes with trying to find the sites on my favorites list.
Back for a few.....still cleaning up and putting things back in place. Bibee, any time you need clarification on names or sites, don't hesitate to ask!!! You'll need a cheat sheet for a while until you get all of us straight, because we call each other by names as well as by "handles".... Lowreeda....I love it, Loretta!!! I was thinking of you all afternoon....Sure glad you didn't go for a late lunch at Ledo's!!!
Gotta get some food! Wish my mommy or a genie were here to fix something for me, so I could keep on working. have some leftover spaghetti---that will work---quick to reheat! And a beer to go with it!
Bibee, I have trouble with all the sites and how many eggs or chicks. I am having trouble remembering all the new people. Helen aka mits is my sister and Sharon and Sissy are sisters. We have agreat time on this blog. I lurked for a long time and finally a year ago came on to the blog. Off to watch some tv.
Thx for thoughts, friends. I had read back a little and saw Hedgie's comment, so needed to report. Just on phone w/daughter in TX.Our trip to Greece is set in stone for May 23, however she has come down w/what we think is gallbladder trouble.Scan showed nothing so Dr. wouldn't do any surgery w/out ruling everything else out. She had endoscopy week ago & no formal report yet, except they said all those body parts looked OK. So it's too late to "cure" her, but she does have some anti-gallbladder trouble pills that have helped somewhat. He only gave her 1/2 strength since she's small. She will see him again & hopefully get something to nibble while overseas. She said she's definitely going!
Love the possible baby panda borrowing story! Helen, you could smuggle it to my house & they'll never suspect you. Or I bet the Bluefield Sisters would like to get in on a heist! LOL
Loretta sure they can help your daughter feel better and you get to go on the trip. I have Magpie syndrome. Leaving and keep coming back. Off to watch tv again.
Got stuff to do--try to get away from 'puter for awhile, too! (fat chance) Bibee, my very first pet was a turtle! Think he was a baby painted--green w/faint spots. Called him Freckles!
Bibee, right after Belle laid the eggs, they had a night of open deer hunting at NCTC. We could hear the guns going off and we were not happy campers at all.
Sharon, I would have been very upset also if I heard those guns. Hedgie- I meant to tell you that a tattoo would probably cover up the marks you were talking about the other day. I have 7 - all in the places that could be covered. I wanted a small one on my hand and the guy wouldn't do it. He said he would not put one where it couldn't be covered since I was a professional. Wonder if he would do it now since I am a bum? Ha, ha! I'm glad I listened to him. I love my tattoos. Now, I would like to have a small eagle one. Yes, I am addicted to this site and I love it. My husband thinks it's great too. This illness makes me so depressed sometimes and he is glad that I am keeping up to date with Hidey and all of you.
Bibee, I have considered tattoos before but am skeered of the pain! My daddy had several. He had Joann tattooed on his ankle but then when he married Mommy (Betty), he put her name on his chest. Too funny! I have a friend who has an eagle all the way across his back. He is the one that started me on this eagle journey! :)
Sharon, the pain is not too bad. It is kind of like getting bee stung. The guy would work a while and then take a smoke break. I have a big one across my back at the bottom. I didn't know that people called that a "tramp stamp". I thought that was funny when I heard that!! Start out with a small one. Then, you will know if you can take it or now. My first one was a big one above my right ankle. It is a flower with a butterfly on top of it. I also have one on top of my foot-now it hurt because there's no meat there!
The concert was awesome. The elementary students did 3 songs. Mattie said she was intimidated because Andrew was in the audience. Thought that was cool. She is playing the same snare drum that Daddy got Andrew in the 5th grade. I love it!
7 tattoos - no infection for me. This place had been checked by a nurse and she told me that it was really a good, clean place. I just kept the ointment on them and they were all fine! I would love to get a small eagle tattoo somewhere on the bod!
I'm done, except for putting knick-knacks back on top of fridge. It will have to wait til tomorrow...I am totally pooped. Heading for tub--not a hot one, either. Whew, burning up! Peace and prayers for all. Talk to you in the morning.
I figured I would miss most everyone. I went to a presentation that Roger (birding friend) gave at a Sioux City Audobon meeting. It was very interesting and his pictures were beautiful, especially the Whooping Cranes. He and his wife took a trip to southern Texas in March to bird and golf.
Hi, everyone! Haven't been here much today-- got lots of housework done, though. Then after dinner, hubby got a call from his best friend at work. Seems a mutual friend of theirs who's been with the company 38 years got let go today! My hubby's been there almost 44 years, and he was upset about it, for sure. Had to do some damage control (prayers!). Well, better go now. Grey's will be on in about 30 min.-- almost afraid to watch tonight! Worried about Izzy-- she's always been my favorite, and I sure hope they don't kill her off! :o[ Mema Jo, thanks for the websites. My 'Favorites' haven't worked right for over a week now. Some kind of software conflict or something. I can get them to work, but it takes a couple extra steps now. All those software updates are a pain! Well, Hidey looks like she's sleeping peacefully, so I guess I'm off to TV land to watch Grey's and the Michael J. Fox special.... Prayers for everyone to feel better and sleep well! Be back in the AM. G'night! :o]
Lolly I am not a regular follower of Grey's, so I was very confused when it was Izzy who got married, Thought it was supposed to be Merideth? Did she postpone her wedding so that the day would belong to Izzy?
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!!---WOW!----CONGRATS!!---BLUEFIELD SHARON---our #1 EAGLE MOM -- today & everyday!---MORNIN' SHARON---Are you folks on your way to RIPLEY this am---Don't forget your UMBRELLA!!---You all will be near my home town!---Will be a beautiful drive with all the RHODODENDRON in bloom!!---ENJOY!--ENJOY!---LIFE IS GOOD!!
Sissy and Mattie are going about 1 and Becky, Justin and I will wait on Thelma to get here from Bedford, probably around 5 or so. Where is your hometown, Norma?

I have to get ready now to go see Mattie perform in the Princeton All-City Band concert. She is the newest drummer in the family. :) BBIALW.
Hidey is so pretty. I just love to watch her. Sure will miss her when she starts flying. Going to look at the panda cams.
Five little kestrels are visible!
Kestrel CamClick on picture for live feed.
Deb-thanks for the kestrel cam. They are too cute. Well, gotta cook some supper. Yuck! I would rather watch the cams!
Earlier when Hidey had her back at the launch pad. She scared me to death. Thought she was going to step off the nest. Glad she went and laid now. Like watching practice wing exercises.
When Margy said she was making "mud pies". I was thinking she was truly outside making them lol
Bibee read on another thread where you felt dumb because you didn't know how to get own pictures on.
Boy we all at one time had to ask the one that put their avatar on to help us. Everyone is so much help.
I'm not on as much as I use to be. I miss so much of watching the cams. I really enjoy the time I get.
About the SOUND last week I contacted Outdoor and they said it would be on Steve's end. They were contacting Steve then.
the kestrels are really cute, Deb, thanks
Mei is sleeping and Tian is chowing down
Hidey is awake and near the launch pad.
Mema-jo,
thanks for the web sites. They are great.

Hey, I still can't get the Finney Water site. Also, what is the BWO site? Thanks again!
it is dark in Finland now, B
B I love you turtle avatar.
Dana, I collect turtles. I even have a turtle tattoo on my side. I have tons of turtle things all over my house.
Parent just flew in nest and flew out.

glad you are ok Lowreeda:)

Bibee, my very first pet was a turtle! Think he was a baby painted--green w/faint spots. Called him Freckles!
Yes, the Bluefield sisters would love to take part in the heist, except it really will be just borrowing! :)
I thought I saw a flashlight just now on Hidey's nest. Did anyone else see that?
It was probably a car headlight you saw, Bibee.
cars go by all the time at the center, Bibee
Howdy, all. Got part of my lawn mowed...and college kid showed up - he has a couple of days off before his next final...watching Greys...BBL
I thought someone was trying to disturb our Hidey. Glad it was headlights. Scared me at first.
Couple raccoons in the PA woods. Been waiting on something to show up there.
Looks like Hidey is settling down for the night! Think I'll do the same soon....goodnight eagle lovers!!
Oh, I see our new people are getting beautifully hooked just like us! I love it! Good night, Sherrill.
Bibee, right after Belle laid the eggs, they had a night of open deer hunting at NCTC. We could hear the guns going off and we were not happy campers at all.
Unless there's another clandestine permit hunt going on...maybe that's why we have no sound.
dawn has arrived at the Finland osprey sites
Sharon, I would have been very upset also if I heard those guns. Hedgie- I meant to tell you that a tattoo would probably cover up the marks you were talking about the other day. Hidey is up and about!
nope, Sharon is not aloud to have a tattoo, just her luck it would get infected..
Lowreeda - glad you were far, far away! Shame about Ledo's, though, I love their dressing also. Get some to bring home!
Dana - glad you got a response about the sound!
Hedgie - I had spaghetti too!
Mits, you are exactly right. Guaranteed infection!!
Oh, and LOlly, hope the meds kick in quick for ya!
lol...yep, we are not going thru that again, I send you some stick-ons
how was the concert?
LOL Bibee, have to tell that 'tramp stamp' to my gf...she's thinking about getting on there too.
Off to do paperwork!
The concert was awesome. The elementary students did 3 songs. Mattie said she was intimidated because Andrew was in the audience. Thought that was cool. She is playing the same snare drum that Daddy got Andrew in the 5th grade. I love it!
Would love to have seen & heard Mattie! So glad Andrew got to see her!
I am about ready to call it a long day

Good Night All
Peace to you & yours

Bear is at the snowman cam.
Think I will call it a night. I have enjoyed talking to everyone today. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. Good night Hidey!

good night everyone...take care...Bibee, Sharon is prone to infections, so we will not let her get a tattoo.
Here comes the ferry! I'm hopping on!
I am off to bed, too, tired tonight.
Lolly, hope you are feeling better!
Not really better....bored!
Hey, Paula. What did you think of Grey's tonight?

Nite all
Sweet dreams!
Hey Paula, how about me hiring a tatoo artist and bringing him to Open House and we all get a tiny eagle on our big toe or even our little toe?:)
Nite Lolly, sleep well.
Grey's was good, I was surprised....and that's all I'll say for now...forgot about Mrs B, glad she hopped on, don't want to ruin it for her!
Hope the meds kick in soon, have a good rest, Lolly.
Gnite, all.
Hugs to all ♥
