EAGLE MOM hasn't come back to the nest---DAD is in nest---calling MOM!---Then HOPE got his attention & he began to feed her again!!---natural behavior--when a chick is lost?--
Hey all:) Glad to hear MM is out of surgery:) So sad about HI, Post from David Hancock concerning HI nest. What a sad day. Our followers and Doug have really said it all. The few calls I have just had were tear laced and provoked the same in me. Sure hard -- bloody impossible actually -- to be an un-compassionate and objective scientist under these circumstances. This is of course a very unusual accident. In fact this is such an unusual twist of fate that I have never heard of it happening just like this before. Here where we have so many viewers, such good opportunity for observation and analysis by replaying the archival cams, and yet no clear answers. How in fact did this accident occur? In the past there are examples of adults bringing string (binder twine left in the fields kills hundreds of raptors annually this way), small fish net pieces attached to a fish entangle the young, and there is even suspicion of a broken egg in the nest acting as a binder or glue to fix feathers to chicks and cause a similar tragedy. But none of this seems to be at play here. So what is a logical explanation? My best guess at this point or suspicion is that either chick excavated (pooped!) while it was under mom. This excrement stuck her underbelly and possibly underwing covets -- a few long trailing feathers -- together and poor Echo had the misfortune of getting entangled in them. Certainly the excrement can be a strong binding agent. I have seen captive reared chicks stuck firmly to the nest with excrement. However, to have seen her fly off with the chick and then return safely with the chick still attached seemed a miracle in the making. The downside was of course that the timing for the chick or mom still did not permit the separation. Life in the wild is not easy and we are constantly reminded in our viewing opportunities of this. The miracle seems more that some survive. I hope for some heavy rains so mom gets her belly feathers cleaned. Maybe others examining the footage will detect something I have missed in my quick replay and we will have a slightly more complete explanation. Best regards David
Yes, I am a birdwatcher Normabyrd. Thanks for the welcome. I've been in here for the past two weeks now watching little Hidey. I am so sad to hear of Echo's tragic event. It so breaks my heart.
Well Ya'll its time for this GA-girl to head on home. I havent been at this long and today just breaks my heart.Hopefully it will make me stronger so that I can continue to join you, I have really enjoyed you and this site.See ya tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good evening!
You all should stay away from the Chats and head for the Forums where people are registered and are serious in what they say and in what they report. No sense being upset when you can flip off of the Chats!
Sharon - thanks for reporting Doug Carrick's findings.
Hi all! Had a eye appointment this morning. It has been a year since my eye surgery. All is fine!
Been reading the blog. OMG!!! Sharon, how awful to be watching. Poor little Echo. I had been worrying about him anyway. Did not think he was getting his share of the food.
Great to hear the children on the cam again. I want to hear lots of laughter when you visit the nest. Surely you can make as much noise as the children. Of course, Capt. Gene can always honk!
Just posted some more pics on Lynns' Lair. Learning new things with my camera all the time! Lolly and Paula, house photos on, too! Don't forget to feed the Frogs!
NBG cam is still down Both Oklahoma cams are up - still have that DUD egg in the nest... 2 chicks hatched in ME nest but I have yet to see them....... Loch of the Lowes expecting osprey egg(s)to start hatching 5/14.
Forgot to mention...This morning while eating breakfast I saw an American Goldfinch in breeding colors at my feeder. I was so surprised! It was beautiful!
Thanks, gals....I love it! I've been here for almost 17 yrs. Added the sunroom in 2000. One of the best parts is that I paid off the house in '05 and the sunroom last Nov.!!!!
Got hooked this weekend on the Eaglecam - I did some research on your blogger thread and by the info I have gathered, Male Eagle is Liberty, Female Eagle is Belle and the baby is Hidey - Please correct me if I am wrong - Thanks!!!
I'm from Youngstown, Ohio - We have a nest ourselves on the other side of Canfield on a back rural road - people park their cars on the side of the road and watch the eagles at all times of the day and night - come out with night vision goggles, zooms on their cameras, etc. - this Eagle cam is great - I am sure I'm gonna get to see the baby fledge - seems to be ready in the next week or two maybe?? Did only one egg hatch?? Haven't got to see either of the adults yet, but have gotten quite attached to this little guy (or girl?)!!
Margy.....come back!!!! That was sure a quick visit! Did you catch or tape the Turtle piece on PBS last evening??? It is on again tomorrow at 11AM....I'll go ahead and tape it on VCR for you, in case you miss(ed) it! Have a good shift.
we were all new once, Beaux63..., parents do more when chick is younger he/she has to learn to ride out the bad weather, parents are close by, usually in the branches above the nest.
Good evening, everyone! I've been trying to catch up; haven't been on the blog in a while. Been really busy, and Hubby's home from work today on vacation. First of all, my heart goes out to Dana and her family in their loss. You will all be in my prayers!! And I am SO sorry to hear about your loss too,Jo! You and yours are in my prayers as well. So very sorry to hear about the loss of little Echo!!! Has the mother returned to the nest yet? I'm afraid to look. She's in my prayers, too. Talk about a crying shame!!!! Some people (NOT any of us!!) think that birds and animals don't have the same feelings that humans do, but they are SO wrong! There is one good thing, though-- sounds like Mary Margaret's surgery went well. Thank God! Many prayers being said for her speedy recovery. Say, it seems our camera has its sound back! That's fantastic! Well, gotta go now. BBIALW. Take care, everybody! Catch you a little later. :o)
Hidey has some really big feet! My daddy would say and really ugly! He spotted ugly feet quite readily and was not afraid to let you know if he thought you had ugly feet!
Little eagle Hidey seems to be asking the parents to feed her/him. Parents just stand by, with fish at Hidey's feet. One parent moves a stick around, then flies off. Hidey chirps away at other parent, turns head sideways and sticks beak toward parent's. Nuthin'.
Then Hidey bends down and starts picking apart the fish. :)
Yeah, Itl, Hidey likes to act helpless when Lib and Belle are there. I remember times when Lib would laze around the nest, not really doing anything, until about 30 seconds before Belle shows up and then he is up and moving sticks. So funny!
Hi everyone. I am new here. How old is this eagle and was there always just one of them?? Does he/she have a name. Thanks for any info you can give me.
Thanks for the welcome, everybody!! I keep seeing condolences to someone who had unexpectantly lost a family member? Please accept my condolences as well, I truly feel for you - I am bracing myself for the loss of my father to cancer soon & I know it's not gonna be easy.
I finally got to see a parent today - not sure which one it was, but it just kept moving sticks around!! Baby was yakking at it seeming to be asking for food - where do they put the food when they bring it??
Hidey is being fed on a regular basis, parents bring food in, sometimes they feed, other times they want Hidey to feed itself, and sometimes Hidey finds the nestovers itself
Hi Mits, yes I was on the site today and saw the tragic happenings. So sad. Especially when we allow ourselves to get so involved. I cried most of the day, so started looking for happy things tonight and ran across this one. Also found a hummingbird site really cool
Hidey is preening - Just have to get rid of those white downy feathers! I remember back in '06 that Ms InBetween helped BigBoy or Spunky to pick off the white downy feathers on their backs!
Glad you found us bebidance! So far our season has gone well with the exception of not have 2 of the 3 eggs hatch. We have been a "3 eaglet nest" in '06 and '08! I guess we are used to all the commotion! We sure love our Lone Eaglet this season! In about 3 or 4 weeks we should have our First Fledge! Named it Hidey due to the egg well being so deep and the fluff being brought in that we couldn't always find the little one!
Hello again from SC. Been watching for about 2 weeks and finally got the nerve to jump in after I saw the short and ungainly flight this a.m. I thought he was going to flap himself right out of the nest before he finally took off to the other side. Not quite ready to soar with the eagles yet:) So sad about Echo - are there other sites for watching nests? Adopted the eagle as my "symbol" while going through divorce (grace, beauty, strength and freedom). Been a fan ever since.
Beaux63 - she is ok - I think the circuit is overloaded - Here is a link to get you through - I also cannot get the DC zoo link to open...... Link to Daniel's Multiple Panda Cams
I keep seeing these little comments that tell me something horrible has happened and I'm lost!! Where can i find these sites that you all are talking about - what and where is "HI", I see there's a loon nest and an osprey nest - I feel so left out!!! LOL
Thanks Eagleholic! Checked out some of the links, but back here watching Hidey for now. Makes me nervous to see him sit on the edge of the nest. Never knew watching would be so addictive. Even has torn me away from the House season finale!!
Hornby Island nest is at the Hancock wildlife foundation...and eaglet died there today, very sad. It somehow got stuck to the underside of the female...when she flew off, it finally fell off.
Just google minnesota loon cam...
And there are various osprey nests...Blackwater, Puleston, Connecticut Audobon, Hilton Head, Kentucky, Wild watch (Washington State)
Echo was the second chick to hatch at Hornby Island this year...
Hornby Island was one of the first nests that many of us watched - they had 2 infertile eggs in 2006...the same year NCTC cam online in 2006. The HI nest finally came back online again this year
Isn't it amazing how many new bloggers we have gotten in the last month??? Cool! Thanks, Paula! Sent you an e-mail. Re: HI---I only saw the forum posts, and had wondered what Mits and Sharon were talking about nasties....never noticed a seperate chat room!
I love all these newcomers on our blog. And yes, Paula, the forum is so much nicer than their chat. They get pretty ugly on there. I did have to let them know what a wonderful blog we have, that we love each other through stuff, not jump down throats!
I am wondering if Mary Margaret wanted an evening snack? I sure hope she may have felt up to it! My surgery was different and after being bumped 2 times from the op room that day I was starving that evening! Of course I didn't have general anesthesia and that helped me keep an appetite! CHICKEN FINGERS & HONEY MUSTARD!
Morning Dr appointment tomorrow - blood work results - esp. blood sugar level! Well I feel great and that means I can get up & go! (where ever I want to)
MARK & ALL NEWCOMERS Go to this blue link & look at all that is available for the different bird cams we watch. Mainly the eagles and then the Osprey nest - also there are so many more.
Yea Jo! That sounds so good! So happy that you are doing so well!
Lynn, each day I am better. The major thing is I am not feeling so light headed. When I cough you can hear all the "stuff" but like I said it is better.
Paula...last May I had a cataract removed and then my eye got an infection. I was laid low for a month! It was horrible!
Margy.....our fantastic MAGPIE! Received your card today. What a joy! So neat to receive it! It really brightend my day. Thank you!
Good Evening Everyone & Pleasant Dreams to those hitting the hay. Real busy day & I didn't go to work even! Just spent some time adding pictures to blog, but one disappeared & Blogger wouldn't let me add it again!!! Deleted whole thing---will try again. Haven't had time to read comments, but see it's been a busy day here, too.
While scrolling down on this page, I read Megan's post of David Hancock. OMG,I posted their pic yesterday & even went on their Chat after someone said they thought eagle's wingspan was 16 ft!!! I couldn't take it! LOL
Glad to hear MM's surgery went well. And today I had Xray (you know where) and passed!!No biopsies this year!Whew!
Will say goodnight to all. Hope for a better day tomorrow all around! Prayers for all, especially MM, Mits, Lolly, Dana and family, Jo and family....and for all who loved Echo as much as we love our Hidey.
No bears at Snowman. I'll really be checking for 3 cubs!! Thx, Lolly. Lynn, yes, those were the bulbs from Amsterdam w/BLUE pics on bag! Oh well, possibly it's our soil. Night all, Gotta get off 'puter---early work tomorrow.
Well Lolly, looks like it's just you and me left to bring up the rear. I got a "new knee" today and it's feeling so good I don't want to put it to bed! LOL How's yours feeling? I am getting sleepy and if I don't go to bed now, I will get silly:) Nite, sleep tight.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE SWEET DREAMS PRAYERS FOR ALL CONDOLENCES TO DANA AND JO PRAYERS OF THANKS FOR MM SUCCESSFUL SURGERY
GOOD MORNING SISSY...I don't know what you and others saw, but I got the jist of what happened from DAVID'S letter. I must need to go back and read some more. So sorry you had to see nature at it's worst, but from what I read, also saw nature at it's best, with Mom trying to rescue it.
Good morning Wanda!! Yeah, it was an image that is going to be awhile getting out of my head! But, it is nature and we have to embrace it all if we truly want to enjoy the full experience! But, gosh, that was tough!
How is MM? I have had a chance to read back over the blog, saw where she went into surgery but never saw the outcome.
Good morning ya'll. its a sunny day in Ga. I'm with you .. thought about Echo last night and the site that I witnessed. But just knowing that s/he is soaring away in Gods heaven makes my heart a little lighter!...Hope everyone has a great day and your flowers grow!
Good morning GA Girl! Have a great day yourself. It is foggy here in Bluefield this morning but I think we are supposed to have a nice day (for a change!).
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!----WOW!---I still can't get the ECHO tragedy out of my mind!!----When MOM was back in nest---with ECHO still attached---She looked straight at camera & screamed & screamed!----But HOPE is well--& we have a GLORIOUS SUNNY am here in WILD & WONDERFUL WV---'BIG BIRD' is in the planning stage--I think!!---Don't you LOVE her!!---She LOVES LIFE!!!---& 'all of GOD'S children love those BIG FEET!!----ho!------MORNIN' SISSY & WANDA!!-----TODAY!!---IT'S HAPPY THOUGHTS & HAPPY BIG FEET!!!
That's right Norma! Leave it to you to come in and brighten up the place!!!! Hidey has been showing off for me this morning. She is really something else!
Panda peaking out the window of the door at NZ this morning, wanting out!!!
Ive been here 10 min and the sky is now a complete overcast. looks like rain any minute. (hmm i come inside, sun dissapears, maybe I should go back outside) anyway, most flowers in the ground, but, all this rain may bring them out of the ground. OH WELL... THERE IS ALWAYS TOMORROW!!!!
Sorry, I wandered off for awhile. Good Morning Ga-Girl and Miss Norma. It is just a tad foggy here and a COLD 44°. Last I heard about our MM was that she came throught her surgery OK and that the Hernia was a BIG one. They are keeping her overnight, and I think she will go home today with Ceil Nightengale;)
So glad to hear about MM. Bless her heart. I know Mits wants to be there with her, but she has gotta take care of herself too. I bet Ceil has it all under control!

Bless her heart. Thanks Mits for letting us know. Just one drain?
Hey all:)
Glad to hear MM is out of surgery:)

Just today, Ricky! Cool, huh?
Gotta re-download FlashPlayer again....can't get cam up, and then will have to reboot....argh!
Yes, I am a birdwatcher Normabyrd. Thanks for the welcome. I've been in here for the past two weeks now watching little Hidey. I am so sad to hear of Echo's tragic event. It so breaks my heart.
Norma mom has been on the nest with hope
Oh, Helen, so relieved that everything is over. Now we can call MM Drano for a little while. (((HUGS))) to her, and one for Ceil, too!

Lolly, I saw two in the driveway last week, but couldn't get a close-up of them that showed well.
Time for a nap. Keep closing my eyes!
BBL
whoops! Hi Lynn. I started to get a picture, but it flew away. It was one of those moments when my mouth dropped opened I was so surprised.
Well, If I was not walking in the woods, I would be in that sun room. I imagine it feels like being outside!
Ok, now off to rest the eyes!

Sounds as though the rain storm will make it across the mountains this time.
Headed to get some dinner -
BBL
Welcome Beaux63!
Thanks for the welcome Mits & Sharon - I'm kinda new to blogging, too, so be patient with me -
I'm assuming that it is stormy at the nest site - doesn't mommy or daddy protect the baby during storms???
Helen Thank you so much for all the reports on Mary Margaret.
It is good to hear that things seem to be progressing along well.
Ceil Thanks for being the Florence Nightingale for your dear sister and our friend
Prayers continue for all of you, and the doctors and nurses.
xo
thanks, Margy
Dana My sadness is paired up with prayers for the entire family on your niece and nephew's sudden shocking loss of their baby.
Mema Jo sorry to hear of the loss of your distant family member too.
Heaven is filling up with yet more special angels.
Nasty thunderstorm, almost past us. But there is more rain coming behind it.
we were all new once, Beaux63..., parents do more when chick is younger he/she has to learn to ride out the bad weather, parents are close by, usually in the branches above the nest.
Lynn, could not watch last night nor tomorrow either, would appreciate a video, thanks.
So Long everyone, it's time to head to work.
Have you ALL in my thoughts, and prayers, and welcome to all our newcomers today.
xoxo ♥
things seem suddenly quiet at our nest again....
have a good one, Margy
Hidey is up
Mits, have you heard how Mary Margaret is doing this evening?
I love having sound again. I also love how Hidey turns her head completely upside down to try to eat.
last I hear she was still in recovery, Sharon, sure I will hear something soon
Ms. BW, the mother has been back to the nest at HI. It was a horrible sight to watch today!
it was just a very weird incident at HI
Little eagle Hidey seems to be asking the parents to feed her/him. Parents just stand by, with fish at Hidey's feet. One parent moves a stick around, then flies off. Hidey chirps away at other parent, turns head sideways and sticks beak toward parent's. Nuthin'.
Then Hidey bends down and starts picking apart the fish. :)
Storm has passed over but like Megan said There is more to come!
Yeah, Itl, Hidey likes to act helpless when Lib and Belle are there. I remember times when Lib would laze around the nest, not really doing anything, until about 30 seconds before Belle shows up and then he is up and moving sticks. So funny!
Lib back with a stick.
Kind of looks more like a pole than a stick!
Belle just arrived with another stick and Hidey thought it was food I think.
feeding at RTH site
Our Nest Adult is eating the nestovers!
Hidey is interested and is being fed some of it!
Both adults at the Hornby nest.
Hope is sleeping.
Mits and Lolly, how are you both feeling??
Goose time above our nest.
after housekeeping practice, with Hidey playing along, i guess the little one earned a little feeding from Mom, baby-style. :)
Lisa - did you take any pics of the nest when you visited?
Brought in another branch. Wonder whey they are bringing in so many sticks?
Nest building lessons
Checking out panda cam - had to go in on Daniels Cams - couldn't get my DC up.
You just got to get it in the right place
I'm doing better, Lynn, thanks, still a slow process....
Hidey is chirping for food and just getting sticks!
just took my trash out, could not do it last week, HAD TO DO IT this week...
lol....Hidey is looking like....what the h$#%? where's the beef?
I hope you took it out on Wheels!
only wheels are on the big recycle bin, dragged out the can, and little recycle bin was not heavy
Going in to watch some TV national news
BBILW
Mits, Jay should have done that before he left!!!! Hope it wasn't too heavy.
Hi everyone. I am new here. How old is this eagle and was there always just one of them?? Does he/she have a name. Thanks for any info you can give me.
no it was fine Lynn, was going to let him but didn't want the trash out on the street before it was time
Thanks for the welcome, everybody!!
Hi Bebidance...Hidey is 8 weeks old, there were 3 eggs only this one hatched, were you on the Hornby chat today, your name looks familiar?
we will keep you dad in our prayers. Bea
Hidey is being fed on a regular basis, parents bring food in, sometimes they feed, other times they want Hidey to feed itself, and sometimes Hidey finds the nestovers itself
and Hidey is learning how to do nestorations too.
forgot to mention, to newcomers, we had 3 eggs this season, only Hidey hatched successfully
Mei Xiang is finally awake, and, looking for food
Hi Mits, yes I was on the site today and saw the tragic happenings. So sad. Especially when we allow ourselves to get so involved. I cried most of the day, so started looking for happy things tonight and ran across this one. Also found a hummingbird site really cool
Mits, Thanks for all the wonderful info.
have to be strong sometimes to watch these cams....it is raw and uncut nature.
And now, just in case your boots are getting dry, and the mud on your jeans has dried...some more rain................
Hidey is preening - Just have to get rid
of those white downy feathers!
I remember back in '06 that Ms InBetween helped BigBoy or Spunky to pick off the
white downy feathers on their backs!
Glad you found us bebidance! So far our season has gone well with the exception of not have 2 of the 3 eggs hatch. We have been a "3 eaglet nest" in '06 and '08! I guess we are used to all the commotion! We sure love our Lone Eaglet
this season! In about 3 or 4 weeks we should have our First Fledge! Named it Hidey due to the egg well being so deep and the fluff being brought in that we couldn't always find the little one!
Megan - no more rain dances I promise!
Hubby is glowing as he was able to mow early afternoon hour before the first storm hit!
Evening, all!
Busy day at work...finally home and had dinner.
Not caught up on the blog!
I did catch 2 videos of Hidey eating at lunchtime! Will post on the blog in a few minutes. Sure is nice to have our sound back!
it has been raining here too...
No rain up here, just a couple of sprinkles, but it poured in Frederick!
Lolly - what kind of eye surgery did you have?
Lynn - I just love your cabin, and the sunroom too. I'm looking to put one on next year.
HI - such a shame...glad to hear that Mom is back on the nest.
Jo - sorry to hear about the loss in your family.
Welcome to all the newbies! Please jump right in, there's plenty of room in the nest...er blog...er nest!
And glad to hear MM came through her surgery in good shape.
Late evening sun at the nest, Hidey is peering off the back of the nest.
And got the videos posted to the EM blog...
Eaglet Momsters Blog
Just read they found Echo...RIP little one.
You can visit the Hornby forum...much better than chatroom.
Hancock Forum - HI thread So nice to hear Hidey again!!
Thanks Steve and NCTC crew!!
Hidey is standing on the back edge in Lib's favorite spot...don't look!!
Light rain here now, guess no dog walking tonight...guess I'll have to clean :(
SC eagle lover...
You can find eagle nests and more at
www.beakspeak.com A lot of the links we follow are here
www.eagletmomsters.com/links Sure would love to tape Hidey flapping across the nest!
Did something happen to Mei Xiang?? I haven't been able to load the page -
DWTS is on!!
Beaux63 - she is ok - I think the circuit is overloaded - Here is a link to get you through - I also cannot get the DC zoo link to open......
Link to Daniel's Multiple Panda Cams
Nice to hear the geese, too.
I keep seeing these little comments that tell me something horrible has happened and I'm lost!! Where can i find these sites that you all are talking about - what and where is "HI", I see there's a loon nest and an osprey nest - I feel so left out!!! LOL
Parent just landed...can hear them above the cam...now calling out!
Thanks Eagleholic! Checked out some of the links, but back here watching Hidey for now. Makes me nervous to see him sit on the edge of the nest. Never knew watching would be so addictive. Even has torn me away from the House season finale!!
who was Echo? I am new to this.
Hornby Island nest is at the Hancock wildlife foundation...and eaglet died there today, very sad. It somehow got stuck to the underside of the female...when she flew off, it finally fell off.
Just google minnesota loon cam...
And there are various osprey nests...Blackwater, Puleston, Connecticut Audobon, Hilton Head, Kentucky, Wild watch (Washington State)
Who was Echo? I am new to this.
Echo was the second chick to hatch at Hornby Island this year...
Hornby Island was one of the first nests that many of us watched - they had 2 infertile eggs in 2006...the same year NCTC cam online in 2006. The HI nest finally came back online again this year
OH NO!! Is there a link to this nest??
Hey, SC I watch TV and the nest at the same time...
Very nice dances by Gilles and Cheryl!
Here's the link for the Hancock cams, Sidney, Delta and Hornby
They also have various forums...
Hancock Wildlife
I am finally home, had some errands to do, so grabbed the dogs and off we went. We got a nice long walk in and the errands done.
I have made it as far as MM safely leaving surgery and have read all about poor little Echo.
Hidey is finally moving off the edge towards the bowl, hopefully.
Hidey is now on the nest, roaming around, down into the bowl, now over to 3, now at 2ish...
Watching DWTS....guess next week will be the end.
Just signed back on
Thank Goodness for ugly big feet!!!!
Took me a while but I found Hidey around the 2:00 position...
Love the big ugly feet remark, Mema Jo!
I love all these newcomers on our blog. And yes, Paula, the forum is so much nicer than their chat. They get pretty ugly on there. I did have to let them know what a wonderful blog we have, that we love each other through stuff, not jump down throats!
Hidey is back in the bowl!
Lynn - emailed you back!
There is a chat site on the other HI cam feed, not on the one from Hancock. Wildearth tv maybe? I don't use that one.
Both parents have been in the nest with the remaining eaglet, and
Dad has brought back a couple of fish.
This has to be one of the most addictive things I have encountered in my life and also has been the most rewarding journey I have ever been on!
Those big ol feet are one of the most endearing parts of eaglets!!
House was really good tonight...
Absolutely on the feetsies!
MITS - Looks like it is Mei eating the evening bamboo. Right?
Morning Dr appointment tomorrow - blood work results - esp. blood sugar level!
Well I feel great and that means I can get up & go! (where ever I want to)
MARK & ALL NEWCOMERS Go to this blue link & look at all that
is available for the different bird cams we watch. Mainly the eagles and then the Osprey nest - also there are so many more.
beakspeak.com
yes Jo they have both cams on Mei eating her bamboo
just talked to Ceil, Mary Margaret is in her room, they were supposed to give her a liquid tray, but it had not arrived before Ceil left.
Thank you!
Watching Dancing....want Melissa to win!
4:30a.m. and it is already light at Finney's nest
I am all caught up, dogs fed, birds fed and I got fed too. Now I can relax. I have DWTS taping, so I will watch it later.
I am glad MM made it into a room finally. Mits, bet it was hard for you not to be there, but it is best that you let those ribs heal!
So thankful that Mary Margaret is doing well, surgery over. Now, to rest and mend.
That dance by shawn was terrific!
How are they going to top these dances next week?
WOW! PA Woods is having a raccoon
get together!
BTW....THANKS, STEVE and ALL NCTC folks for getting our sound back up!
New Mason update:

Would love to see Momma bear and her three baby bears again tonight!
Hi Loretta!
Yea! Glad for the good report!
Yes, the HI ordeal today was really rough. I did not see it, thank goodness!
Wonderful news, Loretta!
I just watched DWTS in 45 minutes. I like the show, but am not patient enough to watch the extra stuff.
Lolly, was that an LOL, or does Snowman cam bear really have cubs?
I can hardly type, can't see for the Echo tears. That poor little sweetie.
Off to read. Have a good night, everyone.
Yes, Momma bear at snowman cam has three cubs. I could not believe it last night when I saw them. Wanda saw them as well.
Join the club, Loretta.....it was a sad morning.
Congrats on your NED!!!
16 ft. wingspan??? ROFLMBO! Pterodactyl, maybe!
Caps won tonight!!! Whew! Took OT to do it.
I'm the same way, Deb.....prefer to tape and then fast-forward through all of the practice stuff! Rest well. Only 4 more workdays this week!
Enjoyed what pics you got up, Loretta! Love the "blue" tulips! Were they the ones straight from Holland?
Don't see any bears there yet tonight and they usually come around 10 pm.
Wanda did put the pic on her blog!
good night everyone.
Won't be any ferry ride tonight
Cam is frozen
Goodnight, Mits.....more healing tonight and feel even "more better" tomorrow!
Will say goodnight to all. Hope for a better day tomorrow all around!

Good morning eagle buds!! Hope today is better than yesterday. I thought about Echo all night long last night!
Lib is trying to do something with that stick and Hidey is justa fussin'!!
I love having the sound back! Hidey is being so vocal this morning!
Good morning ya'll. its a sunny day in Ga. I'm with you .. thought about Echo last night and the site that I witnessed. But just knowing that s/he is soaring away in Gods heaven makes my heart a little lighter!...Hope everyone has a great day and your flowers grow!

It is just a tad foggy here and a
COLD 44°.
Last I heard about our MM was that she came throught her surgery OK and that the Hernia was a BIG one. They are keeping her overnight, and I think she will go home today with Ceil Nightengale;)
I think parent eagle maybe brought in some food? Something has got Hidey squealing with delight.
Suzanne has some pics posted on the Eaglet page, Kentucky Osprey has a chick!
Best wishes for a good day, continued recovery for Mary Margaret, and prayers for strength, comfort, and wellness for
all.
Good Night, time for sleep.
xo ☺ ♥
It is 43 degrees and foggy here this morning! Please sunshine, hurry!
So glad to hear about MM. Bless her heart. I know Mits wants to be there with her, but she has gotta take care of herself too. I bet Ceil has it all under control!
Sleep tight magpie!!
Hidey is a VERY hungry eaglet this morning...spaghetti for breakfast:)
