Lolly, I just know how you feel, having Jack back. Like a mini-honeymoon isn't it? Forget your diet, just for today, and have a wonderful, decadent, meal on the patio tonight! Don't forget the wine and candles;) Don't forget to tell him how hard you worked being an eggwatcher:):)
not yet, Paula....jubby is out doing errands, since he has been gone all week,I'm still fighting a cold I have had for 2 weeks, guess it depends on how I feel, may see the M&M's girls, but not sure yet...
Capt. Eagle is fighting something, too. Threw up this morning and I sent him back to bed...with much effort and back-talk!! He is like me, NEVER get sick:( Don't think he caught anything from me, because it has been 6 weeks. I gave him some ginger ale for breakfast:)
Happy Birthday Helen "Mits" Congrats to our 2009 Eagle family.
Thanks to Deb and Paula for your work in sharing. Without sharers there would be nothing to see for those of us who can not be on the webcam or in a certain spot at a given time. Many who share our eagle family or thier personal love of wildlife through their camera lens are appreciated by me. I think I have told all of you that on your own places but if not I will get there to do that. Just been crazy here for me for a couple of weeks now. Its not that I don't apreciate the added time it takes for you to share so others might enjoy.
Now I am going to try to refresh my live feed and hope for the best. Worked overnight so will be sleeping some of the day but hoping to be able to watch some also.
Paula Dex's left eye is looking very good. It was the pain in the right eye that actually got us to the vets. As it turns out the right eye inflamation is gone but the pupil is nonresponsive at all to light etc. Vet says time for untrasound this wed morning. I think a good report would be he is blind but infection has cleared, he did mention ruling out torn retina or mass...which I surely hope we rule out. He is not in pain now. Plays some and has his bark back. He always wants to eat except that one emergency day LOL. Thanks for asking.
Glo - I hope you can rule out anything else...and glad to hear he is feeling better. Sorry to hear he may have lost the sight, but glad the other eye is OK.
my surprise guest just showed up, the M&M girls with flowers, and of course my son....my d-i-l is in Hershey PA, with a her friends at a weekend baby shower....so later...I'm not even dressed yet..
Morning Glo--Glad Dex is back to his bark. ( : Still keeping you and him in prayer. Hope test come out good. My Brittany went blind from cataracts. Being blind didn't affect her at all. She still ran through the house (DON'T MOVE ANYTHING) she must have remembered where everything was. She would get a toy and loved getting on her back. Work her back wiggling until she was onto the toy and would just rub and rub. She did the same with her blankie on her back and rolling in it. Vet said no way we could have caught it. She had been going to Vet on a regular basic due to Cushing's Disease.
Beautiful shot at NBG! Love that cam! Bet there is an egg there soon if not already!
DEB.....thanks for the diver pics. I have never seen the divers. Never there at the right time.
WANDA.....I will take one bite of the cake. This diet is working and I am going to stick with it! I can turn away from sweets...it will be the pizza that will drive me crazy!
Yes, so good to have the jubby!!!
Ashley just called, we are going to spend the day in Dallas, baby sitting tonight. So, will not be on at all after early afternoon. Watch NBG for me!! Put on a report! Thanks!
What a special gift Mits I can't think of anything else that could make your birthday any happier. Have fun and come back with the stories :).
I am perfectly OK if the answer is Dex is blind in that eye. Any other news of course scares me MTBR on that one. At least it did not rupture on him over that awful weekend. That would have been excruciating for him and a nightmare for me trying to get him to the Animal Vet ER should that have happened. So that part was prevented too.
Enjoy your day folks...beleive it or not our Staff has their Christmas lunch today so I will leave for that soon and then come back to sleep. Take good notes LOL.
Oh how I wished I could eat salads....and veggies...I tried again but nope. One day just one little bite of this one. No good. Another day try another NOPE...corn yes, some cooked only carrots, a little cooked green beans. That's it....
Hello Sharon! Check out BRS - Mits said he could be riding by on his way to NC on this trip. I hope you are not home working this beautiful morning! But if you are just enjoy the sunshine outside of your window.
Going to do my walk before going to Dallas. Had to check in first1 Yea! Mits....wonderful way to start the day. Love and kisses on the girls!!!

Going to do my walk before going to Dallas. Had to check in first1 Yea! Mits....wonderful way to start the day. Love and kisses on the girls!!!
Just decorated the second birthday cake (no licking of the beaters. bowl or spatula!) I had frozen it without icing it. Anyway, what I did was print out a cute picture of Zach, put it on a popcycle stick and stuck it in the cake. Ha! It says "Happy Birthday Zach
You are our Teddy Bear" A little dopey but what the heck! Goes with the Elvis cake!
Didn't even lick the beaters!
So proud of your determination!
Enjoy your grandson's special event!
Lolly, have a wonderful Elvis B'Day!
And our lucky Deb is at the Eagle Fest.
And we can feast our eyes on our eagle nest! Finally got Live feed to open. Think it's busy?
Oh drat! No eagles at NBG! But, it won't be long! Off to walk with my DVD. Man, it gets my thighs a burning! Go away fat!
Hi Loretta - It took my Live feed a really long time to open today. Still cam pops right up! It is a good relaxing Saturday here in the Valley! Blog isn't too busy so I am hoping mostly all are outside enjoying some fresh air.
Egg Roll our nest
Egg roll
Takes awhile to get all 3 rolled
Has to move that corn stalk right next to egg well. Now Sitting Pretty
Jim - that's Wray, not Dianna at WE...Dianna hasn't been seen since March of last year...
Wow! fresh air is right, what a beautiful day outside here.
Watching eagle in the NBG nest
Could be working on the egg well
Stepping very gingerly around in the nest
Both in nest now at NBG
Hello Sunshine Flower Girl Megan!

Beautiful "swinging" eagle at NBG.
My OK cams won't open. Guess it's busy there.

shhhh, babies sleeping, Maggie on the bed in guest bedroom, and Molly in the living room on the eagle blanket...she went out fast, Mags took a little longer...going to try to finish my lunch, wish he had brought clothes they could have spent the night.
Well, then it sounds like the perfect excuse to buy them new outfits...shhhhh.....
I guess I have about 9 active eagle cams to be keeping track of so far.
Megan - you're back! Check your mail
Dana - You start keeping your charts so when we ask you will have our answers right there in front of you!
How many days are you going to count ahead on our incubation before hatching?
I took the survey at Atlanta
lol....I was just designing their dad's attic bedroom in my mind, a do over, make it a little girls' room instead of a teen's room, and of course clothes in the closet
If I can keep up with these charts (more cams). I am going with 35days of course we know it can be more.
WHEN IN DOUBT! Strip them down tonight for bath time - wash/dry their outfits for the morning - let them sleep in oversized T-Shirts
Do you have diapers on hand - Send Kevin & Jay out to get them!
Ok Dana - sounds good
35 days So from March 6th to the 12th
might be our egg hatchings! Give or take a day or two either way..
I know he will want them in their own beds...by then so will I, NOT,....wonder how many calories they burn in a day with all the walking they do...glad I kept the snowman room up
It takes the eagle group not just me. Of Course great information from other sites like Maine is a big help with keeping up.
Remember there is the chart already started by judyb you can go by:
EGGS LAID WITH POSSIBLE HATCH DATE
Send Kevin home & kidnap them -
I know that they must be a handful when
in new surroundings! I know you are just thankful they are all there
BETTER GET THAT B-DAY CAKE & ICE CREAM OUT BEFORE THEY GO HOME! And the camera!
On Live Feed - down by the wing
