Looks like the big cornstalk is mostly gone!
I know our eagle parents know what they are doing. I think they know more of the weather than weatherman does. Instincts in them!
They are always building up the nest. Whether it needs repairs or not. Additional living area. Tell Gene the fluff is (1) rugs (2) covers lol bbl

I am home, caught up on blog, e-mails, ate some lunch and saw an egg roll.
Eagle Days were good, we only got to see 4 of the birds. The TV was new to shows, so they are breaking it in slowly. It was nervous after the first show, so they kept it in for the second show. I will probably go back tomorrow and see if they bring it out then. It sounded like all the kids made it nervous.

I took a pic of OK Mom and egg 1 hour ago & looks like she is still off of it. I hope that is leaf material on it & not broken.It must be warm there as she has been panting at times for 2 days.

I have return from the great Burger King dinner with family! Thirteen yr old likes to get us there after Mass - no waiting and we're all hungry. I can take those fries ever so often. I like the company best!

Belle is awake noticing something.
Should be an egg roll soon. Takes her awhile to accomplish it with all 3 eggs and then she has been having slow time settling down comfy on them.

haven't watched a lot today, after watching almost nonstop for the last two.. so pretty outside today, had to get out in it...
I thought maybe she just needed to stretch her legs and wings a little, maybe even a poop shoot.

Megan - It sure was nice outside, though I could only go our for very short breaks, wanted to see some Robins today! But I didn't - I have seen them this early, esp when it gets warm early in February...but I always look for any and all birds from our parking lot at work.....

I can't believe the spider in this weather---isn't warm yet. They must like it up there. Perhaps the leftover food attracts insects that they can dine on in their web.

We have robins year round, here. The gather together in the winter in large flocks.

Haven't seen any robins in my yard yet..my friend in NH sent me a pic of one in her yard, she was shocked to see it.
Son wanted them home, it really is much easier, but I have a project now, to turn his old bedroom into the girls room. And my son and daughter-in-law, can sleep in the guest bedroom....it would just be nice to have them do an overnight sometimes
Sometimes I have had a few over-wintering robins here close to the apartment, but have not seen them this year , DEB - a truly beautiful bird with an incomparable morning and evening song....♪ ♫ ♪ ♫
yes Deb, it was heaven.....I see Robins here in flocks all winter, they come for a few days, then they leave for a couple of weeks then they are back.
That is a good idea and it will be fun to decorate the room for girls!
I'm thinking, too, that Spiders must lay thousands of eggs.....don't know much about their life cycle....would make a good research project! (at NCTC that is....)

Have caught up on blog and mail several times today, but have also spent time outside....beautiful day...with more to come...a real harbinger of spring! Hope winter DOESN'T last 5+ more weeks!!
It has been quite a week for us, hasn't it? Time to relax and concentrate on other things for the next 30 days or so!! And then maybe not feel so guilty for indulging this pleasure of ours!!

NOTEBOOK was GeeGee's favorite book. I really liked the movie.
