Andrew and Kelsey just left for school. She spent the weekend here with us. They seem to get along really well. Just hope they don't get in any hurry and get their education!!

I'm sure you are using the machines. How is your back doing?
I don't use the machines at the Wellness Center. I only use pool for exercising in. Hubby uses both pool and machines.

Sharon and Sissy, I agree: education first. But sometimes those babies come before you are ready. Karla was only married 6 weeks when she became pregnant...I was devistated (did not approve of her husband). She divorced shortly after learning of learning of her condition. She moved in with us and as she progressed along with her pregnancey, I learned to love that little THUMPING thing inside her. When JILLIAN was born, it was I who was the first to hold her and take her to be weighed, etc.
I have never known a greater love (except for Gene). My whole life revolved around that little,precious girl. She is now 24 years old.
You can go on my JUST FOR FUN and see a photo of Jill and Dustin hugging at their Mom's wedding to present husband, four years ago.

There were 12 short eared owls in the Owega Wetlands near Sioux City yesterday, so guess where Mary and I are headed to!! My only sighting of a short-eared was when I was told the bird flying away was one. I could only tell you it was a big bird!
I miss Maggie! But you know we all love Tai too.

It is about 60 miles. I hope so, too. They say they normally don't have many owls there, so we want to get there while they are still there.
I put up a few pictures from yesterday. I think the last one is a rough-legged hawk, but I am not 100% sure. It isn't in focus, but was such a pretty bird I put it in.

Wanda, I do pay my credit card bill online, but that's the only one. My daughter said that with utilities you can only do it one way or the other...wooried that if I was away and didn't have access to a computer, I'd be in dutch!! I can mail from anywhere!
Don't want to be a ggm any time soon...oldest gd is 14....I remember a guy from work saying that "you don't know love until you have a grandchild." I don't think I can say that I love them anymore than my girls....but I think I worry more about them than I did mine when they were growing up because of circumstances that I can't control in their lives. I once told my daughter that if she and her husband didn't get their acts together that I would take the girls away from them legally...and that kind of shook them to their roots. And I think they appreciated that jolt after the fact!
Wonder what whoever is in our nest is thinking/doing/looking at/listening to?? Holding down that piece of leftover it seems, but so little movement!

The photo of Jill and Dustin hugging, is a copy that Gene took with my new camera and then I transfered it from the camera onto here. It works pretty well and is easy to do.
Margy, you can SCAN your photos, probably 4-6 at a time and then post them. Let me know if you need help.

Good morning! Had just finished reading the blog when both eagles came in. :)
Lots of talk about grandchildren. We were with Zach yesterday. We had a really good visit, yummy food, great play time, and I got to bathe and get Zach ready for bed.
Cold and damp here today. A day for staying in!
Those two are really working on the nest...a lot more fluff has been brought in.

Margie, I would be happy to get your photos and do that for you. Just choose the ones that you want to post. GeeGee has a Super Duper Scanner that hasn't been hooked up either. Gene can do only so many things at a time and that is one thing that has to wait. He hooked mine up so he wouldn't have to listen to me whine;)

Lynn, GeeGee won't sit still long enough for me to show her how to use the computer. We talked her into a computer so that she could read emails from us, because, many times she can't hear us on the phone. The night she called me and asked me to take her to the ER was a nightmare! I asked her questions about how she was feeling to determine if I should call an ambulance or take her to ER myself
I think she feels intimadated and overwhelmed and never will agree to use her 'puter.
