It isn't deep here at all. It is a very fine snow, I wonder if it snowed itself out. Total snow in Deadwood in 46". The worst snow ever for the month of November.
Deb - I am very curious as to what our new president is going to do about bringing home troops early. I would love to have Sgt Patrick also get orders to return. Ryan has been there 14 months + a day or two.
Yes, Wanda - Sgt Patrick is stationed in Germany and that is where Christine lives with our little gals Samantha & Elizabeth. He is assigned to Bamberg Germany for 3 yrs. SSG Ryan is a bachelor.
Wanda - Sgt Patrick went to Iraq in July when Elizabeth was just 1 mo old His tour is to be 15 months... He does have R & R scheduled for Dec during Christmas and Samantha's b-day
Sorry I haven't been on...little setback for my Mom...she's in the hospital with an infection...but she is much better today than yesterday...supposed to be a couple of days, but I think it will probably be a week.
Paula I know I can say that all of us are glad to hear from you. We were going to send Margy out to look for you! Our prayers for your mom will ever be continued. I was thinking something had come up. You take care!
Paula, good to see you. Sorry about your mom's setback...prayers as always. Thanks, Jo...I thought it used to be on typewriters! Yes, watched ER...hmmmmm...guess we all dreamed that Mark Greene died! Gotta check out Wanda's new pics!
Lynn, I read it is just a series of flashbacks for Dr. Greene....I'm really am not liking these lame-duck shows...ER, Boston Legal...acting has been terrible, guess because the writing has been so bad..JMHO
I loved working there, would work one 12 hour day once a week...but when we got the condo...decided I did not want to come back home every week, with the zoo, only come back twice a month
Well, Paula, I'm glad you found yourself...we couldn't ;) When someone is as ill as your Mom has been, there are going to be set-backs from time to time. She is in good hands with her doctors and our prayers. ((HUGS))
Paula sorry to hear your Mom is back in hospital. Although GOOD they caught it so she can be on the mend again. Prayers you know your Mom, you and family are loaded with from us.
If you're thinking of sending out some Veteran's Day cards...you might want to get them out today... A few years ago I couldn't find ANY and had to make my own, thought what a Great Idea for a small business venture, but now the card companies have captured my idea and you can find some nice ones now.

You and the Capt and our most
gracious host! ((hugs))
Whoa Deb! I hope that isn't a sign of what is to come the rest of the winter months!
That is such good news that he knows he gets to stay here for 3 years.
Snowman Cam - Large deer looking right at ya!
I bet everyone is watching ER....
Deb - His mother sure thinks so!!
Jo, that is wonderful news about Ryan. How about Sgt. Patrick...is he still in Iraq and does he have any idea how long?

Me, too, Jo. There are so many things he has to deal with, I can't imagine anyone wanting to be president.
Is it Patrick that has his family with him...that you get to visit with on the cam?
He has promised to do so many wonderful things...lets hope he can live up to all of them. He is going to need a lot of help, including our prayers.

For some reason this computer won't let me do Blue things. Maybe you were on Safe Travel USA, that is where all the road cams are.
Wow I see the snow now in SD!
Mits - how far are you from Suburban Hospital?
When we went to eat dinner, there were 29 men and 4 women in the part of the restaurant where we were. Pheasant hunters, galore!
They just showed it on the news here...8-10 ft drifts in some places...
500 power poles down, s0 help is on the way from all over the area.
DEB - you should have held up your camera to the hunters and told them that you bet you would get more shots then they would. lol
10- 15 mins...I used to volunteer there, stopped when we got the condo, used to work on the cariac floor
Time to hit the hay
Haircut tomorrow - I look like a shaggy dog......
Good Night Everyone

The Alcoa eyasses look as though they are not far from shedding the last of that fluff and taking off into the wild blue yonder.
I think I told you last night that they are all three male this time.

Hi and Good Red Friday Morning to Everyone..
I think NCTC cam is frozen, and Pix PA is very weird ! Maybe a Gobbler or Chubby Buns collided with the cam!
Checking Posts, be back in a few minutes. So sorry to read of the setback for Paula's Mother....
xo
I think the cam is stuck, the time is updating, but that funky line is at the top and it is much lighter here now than on cam pic.
I agree with you on that Megan, those rainbowy lines are a "dead" giveaway....
