Got this from Loraine,

Hi Helen,
The main 'WDFW Customer Service' email address (I believe is still) wildthing@dfw.wa.gov. I am on the site occasionally but haven't checked that information in a long while.

Along with many other projects and areas he's involved in, our contact and the WDFW WildWatch Cam Coordinator is Chuck Gibilisco. His email is GIBILCJG@dfw.wa.gov. His boss is Mike O'Malley OMALLMFO@dfw.wa.gov. The last time I wrote to the wildthing address (a year or so ago maybe?) I got a canned response.. You know those kind that say stuff like 'Thank you for writing, someone will get back to you ...." etc etc..

Let us know how the communications go,
Loraine and Garry

MITS said...

Friday,
October 10
Over the last month it has been interesting to see this little cub’s features and markings develop. I have always hoped that one of Yang Yang’s offspring would have a white patch of fur on a paw just like he does. The cub’s paws are still too small for me to tell if he has any noticeable white patches, so I guess I will just have to wait and see if I get my wish. However, during the cub’s most recent weight checks, I have noticed a different marking on the cub’s fur that may set him apart from other pandas, but not all pandas! Just like his mother Lun Lun and his older sister Mei Lan, this cub has small patches of white fur on both of his otherwise black heels. As he grows, it will be interesting to see if they become as noticeable as Mei Lan’s white markings, or if they stay small and less noticeable, like Lun Lun’s.

The cub's most current weight is 1588 grams.

Good morning, Mema Jo and the rest of the crew...

Is that a rabbit the Clouded Leopard is eating this morning??

Maybe it's still frozen, but it doesn't closely resemble any rabbit I've seen.

Good Friday afternoon, eagle fans!
Notice that eagle is not capitalized, so I am not referring to football fans! LOL!! Did anyone know that my Skins beat them??? RAH!!
Norma, I had the same problem w/ e-mail...everytime I tried to forward or reply, 'puter froze up completely. I really don't think it is us or our equipment....I think it's goblins in the airways!

magpie said...

Good Afternoon Everyone -
Gosh it seems wrong to sleep through a beautiful day like this: But I'm up and raring to to and off tonight, so there's plenty of hours to wear RED for the military .

GOOD NEWS ABOUT CANDY, CEIL, NICE WAY TO END OUT THE WEEK

You all have a nice evening, I'm going out to find some kids to play with..

xox

Costume Lady said...

CEIL, so glad you reached Candy. I really thought there was something wrong, because Candy was a very enthusiastic blogger and was on here every morning along with me and Suz. We HAD COFFEE TOGETHER every morning. I miss hearing about her kidnergardners and the goings on at the Outer Banks.

Costume Lady said...

She always kidded about being in Kindergarten for 24 years. I think she plans on retiring after this year.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Good afternoon, my friends of fine feathers and fur!

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

I haven't even looked at today's blog until now. See where Megan gave us a ride on the yellow submarine. Now, I will see what else I have missed today.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

So glad that Candy is not MIA anymore!

Red said...

Do you people who are having "puter" problems have anti spyware installed. If not you might be experienceing slow down and freezes due to spyware.

Red said...

Spybot and Ad Aware are freebee antispyware and are better than nothing but still allow lots to get through.

hedgie said...

Red, my spyware is whatever is in Norton/Symantec package. Do you mean that IT is causing freeze-ups, etc.? And that the two you mentioned don't?
Yea! Glad that Candy is alive and well!! Did she say how the wedding went?

Red said...

Norton/Symantec is probably your antivirus. Not sure if they have antispyware included or not. But it is not the problem.
Norton is probably the best antivirus you can get but it's also a memory hog.

ceil said...

Lynn, she said the wedding went fine.

T-Bird said...

good evening all my fine eagle buds

Nest Update

10/10/08:
Mittark -- the young osprey from Martha's Vineyard -- has struck out on migration in a big way by flying out over the Atlantic Ocean -- all the way to Florida.

T-Bird said...

hello MITS :) I'm here in Bedford this evening-strange not being in Bluefield this weekend

MITS said...

Buddy must be wondering why you are home:)

MITS said...

I hear the loons up in Maine

T-Bird said...

Yeah-MITS-Buddy is lost. :)

hedgie said...

Yes, Red, the menu shows "Spyware Protection" and is marked Secure.
I guess memory hogs slow things down, right? But it wouldn't cause freeze-ups would it, when I still have 70+% free space?

hedgie said...

Helen, can you link me to Maine, please? If I had it, I can't find it!!

MITS said...

Lynn it is on its way....going out for chinese food..bbialw

MITS said...

its getting dark there Lynn, so you might not see or hear anything except the ocean

Red said...

No Hedgie, yours sounds ok. Sorry I can't help you . It's hard to troubleshoot without being there with hands on.

I WAS a computer technician in my last life. Just been retired 5 years. Lose it in a hurry.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Let me guess, everybody else has a life and are out and about on this Friday evening, right? :)

T-Bird said...

now Sharon you sound like staying at home means we don't have a life :)

T-Bird said...

I still haven't seen Baby Luney roll over

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Hey, T-bird, did you see my beautiful pic on here?

T-Bird said...

forgive me but i don't know what ROFLMAO means

T-Bird said...

what pic? oh yeah, I sure did-he is handsome!!!

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Well, really it should say ROFLMBO - rolling on the floor laughing my butt off!

T-Bird said...

Hello Megan

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

That is Andrew's "teacher" look. He has to dress up to observe a class.

T-Bird said...

What class is Andrew observing Sharon

Red said...

I have observed something.
Andrew is a BIG boy. lol

T-Bird said...

Yes Red he is a manly man!!! A fine looking young manly man I should say.

Red said...

I can almost remember when I was a young manly man. :)

floralgirl said...

Andrew looks very tall.

T-Bird said...

I bet you can Red :)

T-Bird said...

luney's trying to walk

Red said...

I would guesstimate Andrew to be at least 6'6". I know I would have to look up to him.

T-Bird said...

Andrew is 6'2''- right Sharon and what size show does he wear-a 16

Red said...

If he is 6' 2" then the door he's standing in is short or it's not as close as it looks in the photo.

Mema Jo said...

Hello everyone.
Raccoons are out in full force at the PA woods.
Little Luney is squirming around
I wish we had sound for him.

T-Bird said...

I wish we had sound too Mema Jo-have you seen Baby Luney turn over

hedgie said...

Red, even tho' 5 yrs. is a long time in tech advances, I believe that once you have that knack, you can pretty much keep up w/ the new stuff! You are lucky to be so talented!
Hey, Bedford Thelma....do you normally go home every weekend??

Costume Lady said...

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE...
Shop is closed. Dinner is over. time to get comfy. Gene watched the shop while I went to dinner with GeeGee, Karla, Denise, Dustin and Brandon. Crab legs were super good. I only had one plate full...so proud of myself. No dessert. Dustin came home with me and will be with us til Monday evening. I wanted to catch up on the blog before I turned the 'puter ovet to him.
Have a good evening...BBL

Mema Jo said...

T-Bird He hasn't turned over yet
If he does it is going to be accidental and not intentional!
His little feet have to dig in more
in order for him to flip. I remember when Buta Buta first did - at least before she did - we would all holler and try to coach her to do it.
It will be great fun watching -

Red said...

Hedgie, I didn't keep up with Windows. I had heard so much about Vista problems when I bought my new computer I ordered it with XP installed. From all I have heard about Vists I think that was a good move.

T-Bird said...

Hey Wanda and Hedgie-yeah I normally head to Bluefield every Friday-I keep trying but no one will agree to move to Bedford yet. :)

T-Bird said...

Red-I've got Vista and I have problems but I'm not sure if I'm causing them or my computer is or Vista. I don't know enough!! :(

Mema Jo said...

Well it's that time of the month for
bills to be paid...... I best get
on it. I will return...

BBL

T-Bird said...

hedgie said...
