Hey there JO. Just checking blogs before going in. My son and friend finally arrived and are now out on the screen porch talking to my husband.
I cleaned, shopped and did washings all day. Finally got some more rain today and should finally get your cooler weather tomorrow. The air conditioner just keeps going and going.
Good to see you on, but it is kind of late for you. You should get your rest.
I'm going to talk to Josh for a little bit and then turn in myself.

White water rafting sounds a little much for me. Hope they have fun. Sounded as if they all had a good time watching the Monterey Aquarium cams today. Have to look at them tomorrow if I can get on.

I am on Sidney Eagle cam and heard the eagles vocal. Love that the sky in background is just starting to lighten. Colors are beautiful.

Well I did make a detour to Blackwater Osprey and what a BIG fish that osprey has....a whopper

Good Morning... Well Dana i could have joined you this morning at 3 and 4 and 5 lol i could not sleep finally feel asleep and its tiem to get up and get ready for work at 8am.. Oh well i am excited as i hope to have Jasmin today for awhile and planning a baby shower with her mom for next Sunday since we could not have her 1 since she was in the hospitol the last 4 months of Jennys pregnancy... Morning Mits have awonderful 1st birthday party with Maggie... Paula there are alot of donkeys out on the donkey cam and people setting on the deck having breakfast and enjoying the morning sun and sea... Letsss Goooooooo..lol
Those pandas want to get every lick of the honey off the box... Isnt it amazing how we smile and calm we feel watching these beautiful animals..Ok Tai is getting a drink of water and mom and dad are resting after the bout with the cartons...

Cheetas are in the litter box ... Elephant is outside... No Flamingo's on cam...Golden Lion Tamarin monkeys not in the box...No Tigers... Now they seem to be on the hunt for Tai in the bushes....
Mei and Tian are in the smaller yards together and Tai is in the big yard alone... Moms back to sleep with baby in HER paws after a bath.... Seems Tai likes to sleep down by the big window we sat at Mits near the grate.. i think it has a water mist near by??
Hey mits there is a girl on the Slothbear cams either putting out treats or picking up poo...
Amazon River cam has big cat fish or barble fish on it.. Looks like the kind of fish.. Fatty the croc got ahold of last year and ate the tail off of it...
probably picking up poo and leftovers.

FROM SD UPDATE....Our new panda cub is now a week old and it has changed so much already. One of the most striking changes that we see during the first few weeks of life is the development of the pandas’ trademark black-and-white coloring on the skin. Well, at about 12:30 p.m. today we got a great view of the cub nestled calmly in the crook of Bai Yun’s neck and there they were: the first signs of the black ears, eye-patches, and limbs! Look closely at the cub the next time Bai Yun gives us a peek. The black coloring should intensify dramatically over the coming week.

Just went over to my space page i have and afriend sent me abunch of things and could not resist coping this: I have gotten that dreaded furniture disease.... that's when your chest is falling into your drawers!
Now how many can relate to that?? Ya'll know i can....lolll I was thinking about old age and decided that it is when you still have something on the ball but you are just too tired to bounce it.

An OSPREY CHICK is alone in the CT nest----I keep thinking one of the KENT DUO will check back in---but--NO SHOW!!----Same at the STORK NEST!!
Things have really quieted down in the nests....tried to get up the Florida nest, but no luck. Hopefully they will have a successful year this year too.

Norma she is beautiful and growing and healthy... Hahaha dont tell my son she has red hair...lol actually it is dark alburn and very thick at the back around her neck...But she has his high hair line and hid long fingers and toes and eyes and forhead... lol yeah i am a proud granmaw just like all of us... Cant wait to take her to Disney.. This April i am taking my sister who died grandaughter to Disney Emily she is 7.. My sister wanted to take her to Disney so bad when she was old enough but died before she could.. So i am taking Emily... I know Linda will be watching from above...smiles

NOT MANY GRIZZLIES!!---Just as I typed that----This "HUGE" GRIZZLY was standing on the rock facing the cam----HE WAS BIG!!!---usually when they are wet they look smaller!-----AWESOME!!

WOW thats great Norma i cant get that cam here at work.. Those Polars bears are just swimmin around there is ahuge window under the water that people can see them swimming... That would be awsome to watch...

Osprey chick at CT just squaking like mad. Looks tired like he/she wuld like to go to sleep. Yet something is possibly around flying overhead bothering it. Poor chick.

Just got back from doing more grocery shopping while my son and friend guest took off for parts unknown. Thanks to all of you for finally sending us some cooler air down here in N. Carolina. What a difference today has been.

I got up fairly early, listened to one of my favorite "Swing era" programs with Chuck Cecil on my favorite jazz station, ate my bowl of instant oatmeal, drank my cup of coffee, opened my computer and the cams, opened this blog and read a few comments.......
Then I decided my back was kind of kinked up and I should lie down for a minute... Boy, that felt gooooooodd...
You guessed it, I woke up again after 12 noon!! But my back feels a lot better, and I'm more relaxed generally.
If anyone else is interested in jazz and blues, we have the best station out here: KKJZ 88.1 FM
