Did you see the pictures on the BW site from this a.m. where one of the eagles was eating a DUCK?
Keep an eagle eye on Maine, someone usually makes a visit between now and sunset.
Looks like maybe a pintail duck that they ate this a.m., carcass still might be there.

There is a new video of the 1 month panda cub exam on the Atlanta site.
I wish there were some way to send them the ones Glo frapped - especially the "Where's that kid now". I really laughed at that one - almost as much as the one we had with the sneeze.
Buta Buta really does hiccup or cough alot at times. Might just be a twitching in fear of falling on her head out of her mother's arms....
LOL Jo Glad you liked it, it was a cute one especially because she idn't end up sitting on poor baby or anything, otherwise it wouldn't have been so cute LOL. Have no idea how you send those kinds of things. I think they probably tape the whole thing just like our eagles were taped all season. My guess is they did see that piece but maybe not.
Still just enjoying the Eagle at BW hoping to see the eagle from ME but no sign as yet.
Doesn't look to good for seeing an eagle in Maine tonight, they usually shut off the cam between 6:30 and 7:00p.m.

My BW cam has frozen since they put up the other picture about 5 minutes ago.
Weather report for Bluefield on Friday - Sunny - high of 39°, low of 35°. I will freeze my tutu off at that ballgame Friday night! TTFN!

Jo I've been busy watching these wonderful eagles, have not looked in on him tonight yet. Let's see have to take my shower and decide, getting hungry. Was on the beach this afternoon, my a/c is still running.

& wear 2 pairs of socks.........cotton ones & then wool........ Don't forget your hat & GLOVES.
Haven't watched it yet but evidentally there is a video of Freida's chicks practice flying the length of the ledge. Their counterpart Buta buta is still pretty much right where mom leaves her except for some rolling overs...strange ways of nature..

The are about 3 new comments on the Forum & about 7 new short videos..Those chicks are really beautiful with their dark feathered markings. When asked about 1st flight, the response:It takes about 6 weeks from hatching to fledging for Peregrines, so we can expect the first flights in the next couple of weeks.
