This early morning I had taken 2 short sips of hot coffee and just had the thought that on some mornings my coffee is soooo good and then some other mornings it just isn't - It must be my taster, right? WRONG! I glanced at my coffee cup and floating along the edge in my coffee was the dreaded Stink Bug That sure woke me up! YUCK!

Okay, that was very interesting. Lily was out of the den again and Hope was very vocal. However, she was more than vocal, she was all but out of the den. Was following comments on facebook. Everyone was thinking this was it...she was leaving. Got some cute pics. Lily finally came back. Wonder why she left?????
Sounds like Lily and Hope are reunited and less noisy now. My goodness, that cub can raise a ruckus!! What a wonderful view of that little spoiled brat:)

Thanks, S. Hunter. I don't know if anyone answered your question about the food Liberty brings in when an egg hatches, but he always brings a lot of some food in, yes.
Last year he brought TWO rabbits in shortly after the chick hatched you might recall.

Great pic Shirley and as you say it adds more to our mystery. I think it is the fluff instead of a crack that we see on the egg. Or is it a little bit of both - fluff and crack! lol
I hope we soon know for sure! Just need to see a little bobble head!
Lolly - Dr R was at the den trying to get the mic back in position.
Hope was calling for her Mom the whole time she was gone. Some of us on here were watching and Hope almost did come out of that den looking for her mom!
Hope nursed for a while, but Lily and left the den again!!!!

I have tried everything to get the live feed. For me I do NOT feel it is Outdoors problem. I have NO VIRUS but my computer hasn't been right since I upgraded to IE 8. Has anyone else got IE 8?

I have IE 8 and doing fine. When I first start up the cam, I just have to try and try and try. Once it is up it does fine.

There is just too much to watch! Belle, empty den, and osprey...plus all the little eaglets. This woman's work is never done....always watching cams.☺

I saw a chick and egg pieces. There wasn't any movement, but I'm sure the little one is plum tuckered out! Hatching is hard work!!

I saw a chick! Couple of minutes ago, she happened to move out of the way just long enough.
It plays for 7 or 8 secs and then stops for 14.
Yes my cam pauses and catches up every few seconds. I'm using Google Chrome.

Did someone say they saw a little bobble head in our nest? My pic went and I missed it.
She threw her head back and let out a big call then a few more calls not quite as intense but you could tell she meant business, then she stepped back - that's when it looked like the gray blob was visible
OK Hope is missing. Lily is grunting a dog is barking near their den and we need to see Palmer or whatever is behind Belle. It is time for my heart medication again.

Thank you for all of your input and I apologize if I sounded rude. I am not new to cam watching and I do know the costs and technicalities of bringing the cams to the internet and I was very happy when ODC first took over the cam - it seemed to be running wonderfully. I do have proper protection on my computer and run CCleaner a couple times a day. I did send emails to 3 different addys but never got a response from any of them.
So, anyway ... I just saw a pic posted on the Maine forum that almost looked like a chick. Waiting to get a peek myself.
Think we are all glued to the cam, PattiO!

I think I can at least post a draft and say it is a work in progress and ask for suggestions. That would generate some comments. Last time I looked, only one person had posted. This group hasn't been too speedy about posting assigned work.

Laurel called. She said they had about an inch on snow on the ground, about two inches on the patio table and grill. They have an upstairs covered porch. She said it was covered in snow...the wind was blowing something fierce.
Plano, just a little ways east of Laurel, got 8 inches of snow!

That looks like an eaglet to me, Lynn.
When she got up that time the little gray blob was visible, I couldn't see any white egg shell, so I'm guessing the hatching happened and pieces were broken and the bright white was all facing toward bottom of the cup.
Now she's not doing any of that up and down, antsy behavior that she'd been doing earlier either. So signs are suggesting that Palmer is here. Maybe fishing isn't good today so that's why proud Papa hasn't shown up just yet, and maybe she's waiting for him to arrive.
I know what happened. I was signed in under Sharon's account. I guess I wasn't as crazy as I thought. : ) That is too funny.

PattiO, last year we lost a dear fellow eaglet momster, Deb Palmer, to cancer. The pic on the main blog page of both eagles was one she had taken. So we decided in her memory to name our first eaglet after her.

One very welcomed and already very loved little eaglet. I think I see joyful tears in heaven too. Somehow in my heart I just know that is true.

PattyO, Deb's passing was very sudden. She was a great nature lover and great photographer. She lived in South Dakota but many of us met her at open house 2008. That is when she took her fantastic picture of Belle and Lib.
