GOOD MORNING...
I've been thinking of HODA and her sleeplessness...a problem that most of us have when a big event is about to happen.I have tried just about everything for that problem. Sleeping pills leaves me groggy, the PM with tylenol pills make me extremely restless and a cocktail makes me piddle all night:) My doctor and I have come up with a remedy that works perfectly for me. ATIVAN or LORAZEPAM (generic much cheaper), split in half about an hour before bedtime and I sleep like a baby with NO after affects! I took a half the night before my surgery and I was raring and ready to go when the alarm went off:) If taken only occasionally, no more than 2 or 3 times a week, they are not addictive.
It's cool here, too...59, don't know what the high is to be.
GLO'S Elia is a beauty, isn't she. She looks like she is a real sweetheart. I LOVE the photo of her running toward Grandma in the airport, priceless!

Lovely day here. Returned some extra items to JCP and returned with a sheet set and two new pillows. Not the expensive kind but better than the old lumpy one currently in use. Windows open and nice fresh air.

Tonight we are having one of our favorites. I cook sweet Italian sausage with three different colored bell peppers and onion and serve it over bacon cheese grits. Yummy! If you like bell peppers, you would love this dish! Will share recipe.

Not sure this will work. On my phone. Can't get the can. We went fishing Sunday...in order...Middletown Pond, river, Dam 4 and back to river. Did catch one nice smallie. But on way back from 4 we caught a glimpse of one of the my juvies high in the tree top. Could hardly see best from the road. Hope everything and everybody are OK. On a side note, thanks Menu for e-mail with the doggie...just now saw it today. Wife enjoyed it. Also explained a few other things of you know what mean. Take care all.

They say they are seriously investigating it. We do have MANY gas wells around here. They have eliminated fracking as the cause, but are wondering about injection of drilling waste water. They do that around here
WV Jerry...I have learnt that I can not bring up the cam on my iphone either. At one point I thought I could and I was wrong...was I watching prerecorded segments what was it I am not sure. No camera on smart phones is what I am learning...need to down load something or other and it does not do it on the iphone apple blocks.

BIG PRAYER REQUEST!!!
A month or so back Justin had jumped off a small wall and his leg started hurting. They did x-rays and thought maybe he had a bone spur on his leg. He went to an orthopedic doctor who ordered an MRI. He had that done today and the tech told Becky it was not a fracture or break but she did see a black spot on his bone. They are supposed to hear from the doc Thursday or Friday.
I am very glad I saw Belle and Shep and the two juvies today...I am sure the juvies will be gone by the time I come back in mid July.

My friend Lori who had the big surgery at the Cleveland Clinic had to go back into surgery today to get her wound debrided. She has dead or necrotic tissue in the incision that has to be removed. Her brother who has been up there with her the whole time, was hospitalized with a large abscess that wouldn't stop bleeding. He was supposed to be discharged today.
My friend, Sandy Ford Wilhelm, had a biopsy yesterday on the lymph nodes at the top of her lung to see if the malignancy in her lung is the same as what is in her lymph node. Will find out a game plan on Thursday. Thanks so much for your continued prayers, thoughts, positive energies or however you want to do this.

I am totally packed and everything fit in and I do not think I am over weight for the aeroplane JO. I think it will be alright.
I have my papers for first crossing the border and then have my electronic papers for taking the plane. I have never flown without a real ticket before and apparently I can get my own boarding passes and drop off my luggage...I do not know if I will do that!!! I would rather a real person say "Good morning and how are you and thank you for flying Delta"

You all will laugh, I am not sure how cold Maine will be so I took some long underwwear just in case and some socks and a jacket...you never know always be prepared...maybe I will pack a tuque also...I think I will be pushing it if I do that!!!LOL!!!
The suit case is decieving, it looks compact but it has a lot of room in there...I think I will take the tuque in case we go out on a sail boat!!!
I am hoping to be gone by eleven at the very latest, but if I stay up all night I amight go sooner LOLLY.
I am dancing now!!! Better go get a cup of tea...

GOOD MORNING...
Soup Kitchen was great this evening. We had 71 guests! They said they loved their meal of BEEF TIPS/GRAVY OVER NOODLES, FRENCH CORN AND TAPIOCA PUDDING WITH FRUIT COCKTAIL FOLDED IN.
GG was improved this morning. She ate half a potato cooked in garlic butter and a jar of ham baby food along with a glass of grape juice. When we went back after Soup Kitchen, she was filling her hummer feeder. She does seem to be rallying around:)

My avatar is the Cooper's Hawk that was in our yard. It's sittting on a lounge chair that we folded down to try to keep it cleaner from the herons.
Had trouble sleeping last night--the raccoons were jumping onto the roof from one of the tree branches, and landing with a huge thud. Then they were running all over the roof like a herd of buffalo! Can hear them chattering at each other up there, too! I can't wait for winter, when everything quiets down outside!
At least the baby herons were OK again today. No hawk sightings, either, just lots of other birds.
Thanks LOLLY I will try to post pictures on Facebook and JUDYE said she would do an album and bring here so JUDIE and KAY and others not on FB can see them too...
I hope the raccoons are quieter tonight ANDY. Is KEN better?

Can't sleep, but not because there are raccoons jumping on my roof. Andy, you have the biggest assortment of animals outside your house. It just amazes me.
