Waking up with a cup of coffee and watching the early morning squirrels and birds finding their breakfast out back by the fence.
Got some new goodies for them yesterday at the feed store, including some meal worms.
It is so funny how Shep ask Belle for HP. I have to laugh each time lol

You all know my daughter in Colorado works at the Hospital in the lab. I think she should have been a doctor. We were talking yesterday. She ask me some questions about when I was younger. She said that when I was younger did they do this certain testing on my blood work. I said, "yes". She said, "Well they should have did the other test too. Which they had back then. Which she said most drs. don't seem to do but only the one test". I ssk her, "Why?" She said, "If they had done the other test they would have seen an elevation. They could have treated me back then. She said that the degenerate disease I now have. If they had treated me back then I would not have this degenerate disease I have to put up with now." I am so proud of my daughter♥

It is only 1 pileated woodpecker. I got a picture of him. Was watching him fly to different places to peck on. In the picture I don't think his red shows up real well. I will send out the picture after I see if I can get another. Since he is till hammering away. LEAVE OUR TREE ALONE!!!! GO AWAY NOW!!!!

DanaMo, if you are not familiar, the pre-cancerous skin thing is not a big deal. Usually have several places "frozen" with liquid nitrogen once or twice a year. Makes a blister. Have had two basil cell skin cancers. Biopsy in the office took care of those. Your 40's? Ha! The best is yet to come.
Wishing everyone a really good day. Raining a little here. Checked nests. Richmond was being decorated, NBG had male and new female, Jordan babes having breakfast, Decorah dark and MT, Honey and Lucky snoring, Jewel with one motor and one squealer, Lily cam looks really weird.

Oh yeah, the sedative they gave me for the surgery had a delayed action again... I got home, walked over to the mall and got a much needed haircut, tried some wings from Pizza Hut (very good with the dip), came back to the apartment, and did quite a few things around here. And then I suddenly felt I NEEDED to lay my bones down for a few minutes, did lay my bones down and slept like a baby for 4-5 hours. Hahahahaha.

Well, I had my left cataract-ridden lens replaced today, and everything seems to have gone well. I'm wearing a patch and eye guard now until the Doc takes a look tomorrow, but I can see a bit around the edges... It looks pretty much like the right one did at this stage... that is, everything looks much brighter and more colorful, and in general things look more like they naturally do instead of like an impressionist's blurry smear.
Well Margy I probably messed up. I have Alexis's birthday as yesterday.
Wonderful news about Jim, thanks Lynn and DanaWV.
He'll be ready and rarin' to go for this Nest Season, and all the other ones he likes to watch

Been to breakfast already and its raining here again. Still have flood waters from earlier in the week. Guess they will just get deeper today as we expect another 1 to 3 inches.

I have to tell you that I had waffles for breakfast this morning. Yes, I got syrup into all of the holes. I like the real maple syrup. Got sold on that when we saw maple sap dripping from the trees in Ohio and purchased some of that delicious stuff. Yum!
Since I put it in the refrigerator, I do warm it a bit in the microwave before using it.
Just had to have waffles after reading Lynn's posts.
Hunter had cereal. Go figure.
