Clarification on my Hernia...
It is my LUNG coming through the rib
cage - I had Open Lung Biopsy Surgery and the hernia is right under my right breast - it is High up under.
Dr and I will keep an eye on it - X Ray if it persists - The hernia is very small and was so glad he keep examining
and found the answer. So I pray I don't cough so much!

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back here tonight, but the vet was right--Miss Emma certainly DID want to take a nap after getting back home! She slept in my lap for 3-1/2 hours, then after dinner, slept in Kubby's lap for about another hour! Guess all those vaccinations at once kind of stress their systems! She wolfed down her dinner, though, and did play with her tennis ball and Lori tug for a while too.
I have a whole stack of notes here, and not sure whether or not I posted about some of them, but will just jump in. Forgive me if some are out of order, or repeats!
OMG, I should have been in bed hours ago. Darn WVU game was too good to pass up. They start those games too late! I must be at the hospital at 7:30 in the morning, for my pre-op stuff, which means I would have to get up no later than 6am. In bed I go:)

My indoor turtle has gone into semi hibernation. Has anyone ever heard of that before? It did the same thing last year. Stops eating, then all of a sudden one day, back to eating and moving around! Weird. I had a student last year who almost every day would announce, "Mrs. Hilmoe, Myrtle is dead". The whole class would panic and we would check and Myrtle would poke her head out and we would be relieved. The next day it would happen all over again. Geez.

Yes it is. I know they do hibernate, but it seems weird that an indoor turtle would go through it since the indoor temperatures don't change or anything. It is funny though. Everyday...Julie would say it. I can still hear it in my head.

I must say great commenting on the eagles visit this AM. Can't wait to see the video. I just knew in my heart. Like I said the other day about Belle's feathers. That maybe they were a mess because of HP. So now we know Shep can do his duty!!!!!!!! Keep it up there Mister Shep so we can have eggs and Lord let their be chicks to grow into eaglets for us to watch.
Sandi so happy Bella is doing better. Yes I think you are right about not letting her still no do stairs or jumping. She will only get the problem back again.

When you go into the waiting room. Don't they have you still sign in? I would think they would to keep people straight even though there are appointment times and they know the people coming in for treatment. I WOULD knock on the glass and say I am here!!!
I so wish there was more scholarships my Daughter could get. To help her for college. Since working at the hospital. She is going to start College. Said she is tried of waiting!! After she gets these 3 semesters under her belt. The hospital will pay for her to go I believe for the Lab Technician courses. She loves the work she does. So I think she finally found her nitch in life.
Not sure of what date she will start.
Would you all please pray that she finds more scholarship monies. Thank You.
Oh yes, Lynn. I had counted out the number of pills I needed until the end of the year. I did allow a few extra so I did not have to go to the store on New Year's Day.
I saw that DanaWV had commented about $1 pills. These would cost about $5.00 each if I had to pay full price, and I take 4-6 each day, depending on what I need. I lost one somewhere in my front seat many months ago. Thank goodness, I do not pay full price.
Oh, DanaWV, I hope she finds the money. Susan got grants, scholarships, and loans. She took longer to graduate because she did not want to go too deeply into debt.
Perhaps she might try talking to someone at the college about scholarships, etc.
Tee hee, I have been watching the squirrels trying to get to my bird feeder. It is one of those squirrel proof feeders that drops down and blocks the access when a squirrel hangs on it. So far it has foiled the rascals.
I put lots of goodies out there for the squirrels, but they can't have everything.
Thanks Shirley she is trying to do that over the phone. She will be taking online courses. With working she can't get to the College to speak to someone. Seems when she calls they are always busy. Plus they don't call back they say.
She does not want to go too deeply into debt either but she is so tired of not getting to college. So she said, "Mom I have tried too many years. I am doing it!!!"
Jordan Lake just turned the eggs but never gave a peak at them.

Asking for prayers this morning. I just got a FB message from a good friend whose husband Robert passed away on Tuesday. Her name is Roseanna.
Roseanna and I were good friends when we taught English at CCHS. She retired a year before I did so that she could spend more time with Robert. We have stayed somewhat in touch on FB, but haven't seen each other since she retired.
I want to talk to her, but just realized that I don't have her phone number, so I messaged her on FB and gave her mine. Hoping to hear from her soon.
Her husband is from South Africa, so I do not know how many family members he has nearby. I know that she has family, though. They usually went to South Africa every summer to see his mother.
Only bruise I have is on my shin. Think that is where I kicked the plastic storage container. However, my thigh is very sore. Last night my shoulder was sore, but it seems okay today. I am so glad I did not fall all the way as it was on the hard tile. That would not have been good.
Not a good start of the year for your friend, Shirley. Question is was it unexpected or had he been iull? Certainly prayers for her.

I am cooking today and then we are taking a meal to Denton. Jack is going to install new towel rods and Laurel and I are going to plant her tulip bulbs that have been in my garage refrigerator. Forgot to give them to her when she left here after Christmas. Going to see my boys!!!☺

Yep, tis' Shep ! Happy to see him. Thanks for rephasing JUDY. PAULA or LYNN, have you ever seen an eagle pair engage in HP twice within one on camera visit ? I haven't. I know they must usually do so many times before it's a "hit". So, since two or three eggs are laid within three or four days, I'm going to guess HP is frequent and ongoing. Anyone ?

Just got a call from the Physical Therapy folks--the gal I was scheduled with for tomorrow has to go to a funeral, so I'll go several hours earlier--11am--and see another therapist. This is being called an evaluation, so am not expecting too much. The pain grows worse each day now, so the injection didn't last long and I can see I have a long way to go. :(
Hope WANDA is back from the pre-op and getting some rest !

Tori is having a rough day today, they are going to bring her to icu to lower her co2 level and I can't be there due to being sick hopefully by tomorrow it will start going away as I feel it is at its worse today.
