To anyone who might get lost from the current page: If you get stuck and can not get back to the right place, like happened to me, click on the name of the blog and it will bring the newer post sign back up again...this from experience.
Think I am going to depart for a while. Maybe get another tray of slides completed. I have done 4 so far and also burned them to a disc. Yea me! Glad I am doing this as I have found a lot of slides that have faded beyond recovery. Some are great and then others you can not tell what is in the picture. That makes a total of 28 trays I have done.
Approx 140 pictures per tray...three slides at a time. Groan! However, it is fun to look at the pictures.
Had to sign in and I hope this goes over to the 200 page

For some reason, my wireless keyboard suddenly stopped working - grrr!! Am on Denny's lap top now. I've tried uninstalling the keyboard software so I can reinstall it - it won't uninstall. I've tried shutting down and restarting the computer. I've tried new batteries. I've tried Alt, Ctrl, F12, then reconnecting the receiver, reconnecting the keyboard, and then ESC - didn't work. I've even tried doing a system restore. I'm dangerously close to using a sledge hammer or opening the sliding glass door and pitching the damn thing out into the street to be run over by the next car that goes by!! Tomorrow I will try to scrounge up a wired keyboard at school to use until I can get a new wireless one. If you don't see me on the blog tomorrow morning, it's b/c I can't post anything!!! Prayers and positive energy for Wanda and Jim tomorrow. Lynn, feel better!! Goodnight all!

I realize that I don't post her often because I am what you consider a O/C chatter. I have always been here. I think most of us here are for the eagles we love so much. Well, that is why we are at O/C. We love, we care, we pray!!! I don't know how the group ever got divided and it does not really matter to me, because you see I am the kind of person who cares about everyone. I read your posts and I either laugh or get tearful, but mostly I pray... I also realize that you are a prayerful group and that brings me to this post. I am asking that you all please add Kathleen and her son to your prayers, She is grief-stricken, Her Son, Donald has been diagnosed with cancer and is scheduled for surgery. I pray that everyone has a happy and healthy life free of stress and sickness, I hope you will pray for us the same. Thanks Sue

BTW, the dark at the end of the strangers beak was the gray coloring...the beak hasn't fully turned yellow yet....I would guess this eagle is probably turning 4 this year.
