Hoda, the student was female and had no knowledge of human sexuality or reproduction. After my stunned silence, I explained that sperm are naturally produced in men as a way to produce babies. Lordy, what could I say? Feared I would violate a cultural taboo of some sort. Uneasy to say the least.
Know this is late but it has become very dificult to maneuver through the blog.
Am thinking of Wanda and how she is flying the halls of the hospital. Hope for a speedy recovery seems in the works.

Ah LOLLY, great pics and memories for all of your kitties. I had a pony and a horse named Misty when I was a kid. & I think Laurel and I had the same pajamas as kids!

There's no white head that I can see in the nest, so no eggs yet.

Have adopted Judie's method of seeing new posts, and it seems to work.
I was SOOOO busy today! Made split pea soup, per Kubby's request, so spent a while in the kitchen. Have been trying to clean up my Earthlink e-mail. Keep getting a message that there's no more room!
Never had that problem on the old laptop that crashed. Have been deleting a lot, and putting stuff into folders, but have still used up 90% of the space I'm allowed. Have no idea what else to do.

62 tomorrow is great. Usually the first day of Catholic Schools Week it snows. I can remember going to the pancake breakfast with snow coming down.
I guess we aren't going to get any snow this year. The forecast temperatures are all pretty good! Just checked the 10 day.

Had trouble getting the cam up, then it ran for 35 sec. and froze.
Outdoorchannel page loads, but the live feed doesn't. I just get the gray screen w/ the arrow circling in the middle.
DAMN - keep getting "the selected item is not currently available." Grrr!! And, since I don't have kids today, this is a morning that I can stick around for a few to try to catch a morning visit!

JudyE there use to be a wonderful Eagles Nest Live and they would move the camera around a lot in Florida. That we use to watch. It went off line cause they could not find a backer..really miss that nest. Last time we watch it they had laid the eggs but the eggs were not fertile. That Mother stayed on those eggs for 55 days crying.

Oh, yeah....night light.....by moon only. Then what is the point of even having a light? Never heard of a night light dependent on the moon's glow. Another rip-off.

I just found out that my vitamin D level is 7.8 and is supposed to be around 30. It can cause bone pain, depression and fatigue, of which I have all 3. Started vitamin D3 this morning.
