I watched American Idol last night and was watching for Christian Lopez to sing. Was sad they did not show him. I don't like when they put people through and you don't get to hear the song they first sung to get through to Hollywood. Happy though that Christian made it through.
Hoda the information for the children's party sounds so wonderful. I love that the gran kids are doing this and you all are just helping. For those young children to enjoy such craft making, cupcake decorating, games, and etc. Is such a kindness and I am sure you are excited for them. Loved how you put the blue link up for the "cupcake walk". I was wondering also what it involved. So neat and that will be a fun part too. It sounds so much like a Blessing for the gran kids and the children coming.

I did have a chance to look at the Oklahoma Sequoyah Eagles. The one is laying on the eggs and the other flew in with food and is eating.
The one laying on the 3 eggs turned them. You could see the one egg is not the right shape anymore. So a hatching must be starting. She/He would not move so I couldn't get you all a clear picture.
Loretta I agree with you the boy from the coal mines. He sang good in the mines in front of his co-workers. I think he choose the wrong song to sing in front of the judges though. Maybe he'll come back next year.

JUDYE, if that is your winter electric bill, what the heck do you pay for A/C season ? Is your place all electric ? We had power bills about that high in July and August in Bullhead City. It's on the Colorado River, but only 300 ft. above sea level and with Death Valley temps much of the time. Of course, that meant low bills for our gas heating with only a couple of months of "winter" there.
My elec was 1700 KWH they charge extra if you go over 1000 and it can average from 100 to what it was all depends on heat and AC I have had elec at 86 duing spring and no AC or heat I just looked I think 275 is highest it been also that waas last dec I keep a book with bill written down I and just looked

With all the talk about the OC forum lately, I took some time and read back through the posts from the past week. Like all of us, it sounds like they are a group who "came for the eagles, but stayed for the friendships." One lady posted a very heartfelt comment a day or two ago that said, "I use to think it would be great to be a Momster but not now. I know that I will never get invited and that is okay. I would say no." It saddened me to read her comment b/c I have never met a more welcoming group! I even tried to find a way to send her a PM (didn't want to post and risk stirring things up) asking what caused her to form her opinion, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it. LYNN, I agree with you that it is unfortunate when misinformation is posted on that forum b/c, since it appears just below the live feed, people finding the cam may (incorrectly) assume that the comments are being made by moderators at OC. Do I hear someone/something in the tree?

EXCELLENT Yoga class. I feel very energised and a sense of my own foundation...we did several poses where it was so very important to establish my foundation and I was aware how I sometimes am not aligned...a challenging class and I loved it.

JUDYE, if that is your winter electric bill, what the heck do you pay for A/C season ? Is your place all electric ? We had power bills about that high in July and August in Bullhead City. It's on the Colorado River, but only 300 ft. above sea level and with Death Valley temps much of the time. Of course, that meant low bills for our gas heating with only a couple of months of "winter" there.
My elec was 1700 KWH they charge extra if you go over 1000 and it can average from 100 to what it was all depends on heat and AC I have had elec at 86 duing spring and no AC or heat I just looked I think 275 is highest it been also that waas last dec I keep a book with bill written down I and just looked

In from working in the yard. Would you believe it is 75!!! Finally have the back patio cleared of leaves. We even sat out there for a little while. I need to go clean up now. Two hours of working is about our limit.

With all the talk about the OC forum lately, I took some time and read back through the posts from the past week. Like all of us, it sounds like they are a group who "came for the eagles, but stayed for the friendships." One lady posted a very heartfelt comment a day or two ago that said, "I use to think it would be great to be a Momster but not now. I know that I will never get invited and that is okay. I would say no." It saddened me to read her comment b/c I have never met a more welcoming group! I even tried to find a way to send her a PM (didn't want to post and risk stirring things up) asking what caused her to form her opinion, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it. LYNN, I agree with you that it is unfortunate when misinformation is posted on that forum b/c, since it appears just below the live feed, people finding the cam may (incorrectly) assume that the comments are being made by moderators at OC.

EXCELLENT Yoga class. I feel very energised and a sense of my own foundation...we did several poses where it was so very important to establish my foundation and I was aware how I sometimes am not aligned...a challenging class and I loved it.
It is a soup kind of a day so I will have French Canadian pea soup with cheese and crackers and then get a roasted yam for desert...

He is a disability lawyer and I was going through my files and the other lawyer I saw is Dave Anderson and he know him so he can see if he has some files since McFarland died I hope so He wants me to push to open up my WC file and get reevaluated also I couldn't remember the dates of my accidents but I have all the papers lucky me I save stuff I guess so I found both dates I just can't tell anyone outside the blog about this seeing a lawyer He will get hold of them once I am evaluated
OK BBL gonna get a early shower and figure out what I want to eat haven't ate again today at all again nerves are a PIA at times HUH

Sandi - temps are now at 6° - has been snowing since 9 am-ish. Thankfully its light & powdery. Unfortunately at these temps road salt does not work well. Evening commute for folks is crash, after crash, after crash. :o(
Oh, and the one cat loves the dog food as much as the dogs. Each time they're fed, she comes & begs for a pinch of it. Darn good stuff!

WOW!!! It is dark now because it is snowing so hard!!! Good thing I was not planning to go anywhere tonight...it is totally shut in with the weather and I can not see the mountains on either side of the flat!!!They have till nine in the morning to clear it off as I have to go to CFUW meeting tomorrow morning...We have two guest speakers tomorrow...an automechanic on idling and winter driving and car maintenance and another speaker from Mental Health Association in British Columbia....dealing with diagnoses and the stigma attached to depression and Mental Health issues.I will have my lunch with the CFUW group..It will be a full day tomorrow as afterwards I go to yoga...I need a break in the weather though!!!
