Looks to me like Mom is fixing up nest bowl and area around it, probably ready to lay eggs. Don't think she would want to mate again at this point. When in April is open house. I can't find it on the website.
I know Paula has it somewhere, but to save me from looking for it, hasn't Belle tended to lay eggs in early Feb, not Jan? When I think about WV's weather and the year the eggs were laid/lost in a snowstorm, it makes me want to tell her to wait a bit (not that she'd listen and not that she lays eggs by the calendar date!) =)

Wow - great morning visit! Eagle sex, eagle housekeeping, good company - what a way to start the day!! DanaWV, I agree that it is incredible news about Tori!! Also, I will not be able to get to WV ny the evening of 4/20 - that's a work day for me so I won't even get on the road to Balto until about 5PM. I'll have to wait til Sat. to meet everyone!

DanaWV, it was me who bought the Thundershirt, not CarolAnne. CarolAnne already has one and was one of the people who encouraged me to try it! I'm just sorry I wasn't on the blog this past summer when you all obviously started talking about them! Bandit would have already had one. Now I'll have to wait to see if it works during a thunderstorm or on July 4th.
Sandi...we convene around 6:00 or so, sometimes 7 or so...and then we schmooze for quite some time, you might be able to catch us...

Dog story: The one here (Pooh) that needs the thunder shirt, is also afraid of that "as seen on TV" RediSetGo cooker. The little ping at the end of the cook cycle will send him out the doggie door to wait in the yard until someone gives him the "all clear". The show/commercial for it was on and they had 7 different ones cooking things. We were watching out of curiosity to see what all they claimed could be cooked in it. Just about the time we'd get the dog back in the house, another timer on TV would go off and back out the door he'd go. LOL Poor ol' fraidy cat dog!!

WooHoo....Tori is #1!!!!! In a 5-state area......isn't that something??!! The advantage of youth, I would think!!!! Praying that it doesn't take long!
Here's a thought.....just never know when an accident victim is airlifted to DC/MD, it's always possible that that person could be saving Tori's life, or Margy's co-worker's brother's life.
