Kay, They usually show up as I'm walking out the door! Then I fly down the back roads of Sussex County DE to school hoping they'll still be there when I log on at school! I have to administer state tests to my kids 4 hours a day for all 4 days of this week - SO BORING!!!! Not looking forward to it - weeks like this make me wish I was a coffee drinker!

Yuck State testing-We don't do our standardized testing until Feb. or Mar and of course I don't have to worry with it. Second grade and up!

I was worried about what would happen with the cam freeze at the 14:47 mark, but it started right up again when I hit play. Big sigh of relief !

Oh my, just watching the ad from Carnival Cruises--the one that shows the couple enjoying the nice, peaceful cruise and saying how much better it is than the one they had the year before when they went to a park and had a bad encounter with wildlife.

Lori, your tug for Liesl is holding up very well. Her Redskin color one froma local rescue has bitten the dust. She has un-knotted it!! It was a large one, so not as tightly tied.

I had posted a blue link yesterday about the Crusise Ships wreck and the captain.
Terrible Lynn when the girls (one was Martha Manuel) US Citizens get to the US Embassy. Now this makes a lot of sense. Your telling them you have NOTHING LEFT after the ship wreck. They tell a US Citizen, "You have to pay $200.00 for duplicate passport and other documentation." NOW THAT IS JUST WRONG!!!!! Nice Senator Joe Manchin had already called that US Embassy. So they would not charge them.
My question is what if Manuel would not have call the Senator. What if it was just any regular US Citizen without any monies after a ship wreck?????

a dead female BUT they saw the couple at their nest and mating since finding the dead female. I wish their cam would come on soon.

Jo I have been watching the Richmond Bald Eagle cam. They have been in the nest. They move the cam around. Beautiful area there is a house near the nest. I think a train track also cause I heard a train. They are a pair of beautiful bald eagles.
If you read on the page it tell you they had another nest on the Janes River Island. They started that nest in 1995 and moved from there to this one in 2001. 18 different chicks.

Going to visit the vampires this morning. Time to give them a taste of me. Then visit the doctor next week. Regular check up.
Jack however needs to get to the doctor. His neck is bad again. He has been doing his excercises but it starts hurting after getting up in the morning. Not good as we have lots of leaves to dispose of.
Lolly hope Jack can get to the dr. Is his necking only hurting after waking in the morning from sleep?

Critter Cam Red-tailed Hawk had to be euthanized, due to a severely compromised elbow joint. We hope to learn more from the RTHA upon further examination, but the injury was one that was not getting better -- rather, it was getting worse with each passing week. This type of injury would not have been conducive to a life in captivity.

Forgot to mention that yesterday morning I saw our 3 resident adult Band-tailed Pigeons for the first time in a while. They flew in for breakfast with about 2 dozen of our local Mourning Doves! Good to see them again. Haven't seen them yet today, but haven't had much time to be looking for them. MTBR.
Good to see that Red will be getting one hip replaced next month. Put that on my prayer list.
Good to see Jim, too. It is fairly chilly here today, but the sun is breaking through today, so will be tolerable. Gotta go now--Emma is such a Drama Queen!LOL :oD BBL
