No wavy lines on my still cam, but it goes to a black screen periodically---then have to refresh. Very discouraging to have all these problems NOW with egg-days imminent. :(

Been thinking and praying a lot for Tori. I know God has HIS own timing. I keep talking with HIM asbout that timing. I just want the transplant, Tori's body to except the lungs and good recovery. Tori to be well and in the BEST of shape she has ever been in and HOME. I always start my prayer (not on candle site) with "Thank You God".

Morning again all,
Bubby eating & dogs have been walked - so a moment here.
WVDana - B.day party is for 8 yr old grandson. This year it is going to be held at their Park & Rec Center and include school friends & family. More room for boys to use up energy while adults sit & visit. Harry Potter theme!!
Sure was nice to eat breakfast without any hesitation or reservation this morning!! Yippee!!
Now on to some vacuuming...:(

Yes the dinner experience was not a good one.
I forgot to mention when the steaks first came, we had to send both of them back.
The second round, Dennis'steak was acceptable, but not mine. Mine was a charred piece of super well done meat.
Dennis ate his and I waited, and waited........and waited. The waitress felt so bad when I told her we wanted to go home sometime that night. She checked in the kitchen and found my steak on the grill with no ticket, so it was more like a lump of coal........another charred mess!
I told her I was good with my salad I had and wanted to go home!
She gave us some carrot cake to take home for free and the manager gave us a $45 gift certificate plus a free bloomin onion card to come back. That was nice.
Like I said, everyone has bad days........

CarolAnne, my sister had a BF once who nitpicked at EVERYTHING in restaurants in a most obnoxious way. We went out with them once...and refused to ever go again. Wanted to hide my head in shame. And this jerk was a West Point grad, son a of Pittsburgh cop, and a GM supervisor.......CRUDE!!!!

I get embarrassed when I just witness that kind of behavior, even if I don't know the person.
Can hardly wait for last weekend in Feb. Bubby has taken days off and we are going to go to Eagle Days over on the Mississippi. There will be an eagle nest at ground level to see, a live eagle presentation, a raptor presentation, guided eagle spotting tours . . .. I'm so excited.
C/A---sure wish we could all join you for that adventure. Of course, we will live vicariously through your pictures!!!!!
Oh, yeah---he was entitled, alright! Yikes, she almost married him!!! He was basically raised by mother, 4 sisters and 2 aunts as Dad, the blue-collar cop, was always at work. Would think that many women would have taught him manners!!!
Some year we will have to plan a Midwest Eagle Days trip.
A Fall or Spring trip east and a mid-winter trip to the Midwest - if someone can't make it to one, maybe they can make it to the other.
Will see how successful this trip is.

I just spoke with Daddy and he said that Mother was in physical therapy and hadn't seen the doctor yet this morning. Hopefully she will be able to come home today once he checks in on her.
I was concerned about the steps at the house and offered to go over and help her in, but Daddy said they are working her on steps in therapy. Amazing how well she is doing. I am so excited for her to be able to get around without the pain and the cane!!
She promised to walk down the beach with me =)

Vacuuming done except for upholstery. Moving right along.....no word from Bill and crew yet. I will do loft/bedroom tomorrow. This is enough for one day!! Laundry can wait a day, too! Need to get back on the taxes this afternoon. Need my brain sharp!

Low 40's this morn and overcast. Do enjoy the sunshine so I miss it today.

Hopefully on Monday they will have live cam working!!!!! We need that live cam grrrrrr
Sunny and not too windy here today, not too awfully chilly (upper 40s). We're gonna take a short road trip to Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge - only about 35 minutes away. Denny can try out his camera and I can look for some eagles. Bob Quinn recently went there and put some magnificent shots on Facebook!
Maybe by the time I get back, there will be something in the nest besides eagles. Watching this still cam drives me crazy!! I've said it before, it's like watchin' grass grow!! Plus, the image gets all fuzzy and then comes back again - GRRR!!
Will check in later today! LYNN, we'll drive right pas a Bob Evans and a Cracker Barrel on our way there and back! Maybe I won't have to make those biscuits and sausage gravy after all! =D

I just got into a nightmare fight with one of the foster kittens as I was determined to put her into a crate, which she wanted to part of with all four legs splayed on the crate door. I've got more than a dozen scratches and claw punctures that are welting. I already put on the peroxide and Neosporin. I feel so bad for Andie, the kitten. We're back to square one again.
Sandi, do stop and get some biscuits & gravy. You will love it! Even Lynn likes it! LOL :)

Oh, Lori, sorry about the cat scratches. Not good! Do you know to put the cat carrier up on end and to lower the cat tail first into the crate? That is what we have to do with Annie. First, she has to NOT know what we are about to do. LOL One of us gets the carrier ready and the other holds Annie. Then we surprise her by lowering her into it! Still a struggle for two. Again...not good, so sorry!

DANAMO I am glad you are better. The idea of the buttons is GREAT for open house...I so wish I could afford to come this year, but I can not. Carol, my American sister, wants us all to meet in Maine. We have not been together as a full group since Dad died and she wants us there over the 4th of July celebrations...I am saving my pennies to make this trip.

My iron is low normal...no cause for concern according to my doctor, but want to do the preventitive measure stop and keep it from dropping any further and raising it a bit is my goal for the July health check...IT IS ALL GOOD...no cuase for worry KAY and JUDYE DANAWV.Thanks Hugs...
I remember clearly the day The Challenger went down!!! GOD it was one of those moments where my mind refused to believe what my eyes were seeing and my ears were hearing. I am sure my heart stopped for a second or two in disbelief...I felt numb to watch it and still see the curly plume going to the right...sad so sad...
The following day we had a student of ours,Our Valadectorian, a freshman in University of Alberta, he disa ppeared off of the face of the earth. had gone drinking with a bunch of his buddy, they walked him back almost to the dorm, within feet of it and no one has seen him since. The town was shattered and his bank account was never used and the RCMP did a heat scan and an extensive search and went into the river with divers and dragged the bottom, nothing...only his baseball cap appeared in an old woman librarian's back yard...so it is not such a good memory of that year for us...disbelief describes it best.

Lori, sorry to say that it is scratches that cause the cat scratch fever. Watch out for low-grade fever and any knots developing in areas of lymph nodes.....Christie's was under her arm. Keep washing areas with soap and water and using the Neosporin. If symptoms arise, get to clinic fast. Need antobiotics, and sometimes the nodes need to be lanced. And "cat" is a misnomer because it is kittens that pass it!

Jumping for joy over SWEET PEA's report on WANDA's condition and homecoming ! Is WANDA an only child ? Just curious. I have a bit of envy for any of you who have a close and warm relationship with a mom. My own dear mother died at age 45, in 1965, and I miss her still ! What a beautiful family WANDA and GENE have, from GG to Jayden and everyone in between !
I see posts about our Belle spending a lot of time in the nest cup, but right now I find the nest MT. :( Don't let our eagles drive you nuts ! They are doing what comes naturally and we must be content to watch nature take it's course. :)

Hi Guela! What's new? Well, the live feed is down. Been watching on the still cam. Eagles have been in the nest most of the day up until now. Wanda is home. Lynn is feeling better. Lynne must be fishing, Lori is all scratched up, and me....just sitting and not doing much! Whoops, eagle is back.

Jack and I were doing our walking and I was watching the cam. We skipped walking Thurs and Fri. That is a no no, so now we walked on our usual no walking Sat. LOL
We were also watching the Jewel cam. They were asleep most of the time we were walking. Then they woke up and squawked. LOL Now I hear drinking and bear purring. Love that sound.
I'm so disappointed that we don't have the live cam. I do not like that still camera, but I guess it is better than not getting to see what's going on.
Hi Kay, and Lolly! Wish it was warm enough for me to go do a couple of miles, but it's not. Maybe we should move to TX! I keep trying and eventually I think I will have Monte convinced to move somewhere warm!
