We will wait and see how long a year or two and ACTOS won't be sold as a diabetic medication any longer just like AVANDIA.

On some things you just have to go by your gut feeling. I know what my gut told me about AVANDIA. Thank God I PRAISE THE LORD HE helped me help other people get off of it and get another medication from their doctor. I will do the same as God is directing me now and their doctors can put them on another medication. We all have the work of the Lord to do. When HE SPEAKS WE ARE SUPPOSE TO LISTEN...HE HAS SPOKEN TO ME AND I AM LISTING AND HELPING JUST LIKE I DID WITH THE AVANDIA...PRAISE GOD THE ALMIGHTY!!

wvgal_dana said...

Hoda I like your joke that was cute LOL

Lynne2 said...

Dana, I understand your concern over the potential problem with Actos. Bladder cancer is a very nasty cancer...my former landlady died of it. Lynn is right, every drug comes with warnings and without very long term use by many people, the long term problems are often not connected til much later. And you do have to weigh the benefit vs risk factor. Look at Darvocet....50 some years on the market and now gone, although taken off in Europe several years before here. BOO HISS! Anyway, you must make the decision that is right for YOU, until and unless they remove it from the US market. But as Lynn also said, there must be an alternative, and don't stop without talking to your own Dr first!

Lynne2 said...

LOL Hoda!!!!!

Lynne2 said...

Look at the NSAID meds....I take Aleve, 2 pills, twice a day most days. Have been for over 10 years now. But there are cardiac risks associated with ALL NSAID drugs, especially over long term use. I ask the Dr every year at my physical if it's still OK to take it at that dose and frequency and he says yes. What's my alternative? To not take them would mean I wouldn't function. Period. The alternative would be higher end opiate drugs and I am NOT going there!

paula eagleholic said...

Lots of good chit chat today.

Kay, hope you continue to feel better each day!

Loretta, please continue to keep us updated on Sherry and Jimmy!

wvgal_dana said...

Lynne thank you but I threw my AVANDIA down the toilet. Called my doctor and when I went in. He said, " I did the right thing. Now let's find something else".

I know all medicines have side effects. I worked at Baltimore Veterans Hospital. Taking off the orders the doctors would write for the patients. Including the medications. But when it comes to the FDA saying that a person that takes ACTOS for 1 year is more susceptible to getting Bladder Cancer. That is a need that definitely needs to be questioned!!!

I can only do as I feel God directs me to do. That is what HE did with the AVANDIA. HE wanted me to spread the word and I did. HE/God got many people onto a different medication instead of AVANDIA..but a lot of people already had problems. Whether it be 5% or 95% people need the BEST HEALTH care they can get. Without become more sick.

Hopefully that is all I will have to say on this medication. Remember we are not talking about all medications. We are only talking about ACTOS.

I have done something to my poor toe. This evening I realized that my toe was hurting. Looked and realized that it was bruised, scraped and swollen. Then I remember stubbing it earlier today. Hurts a lot.

Got a cold pack and am trying to elevate it, but it's not easy.

Lolly said...

Good one,Hoda!

Yes, Jack and I are oh, so ready to take off...just the two of us. We do enjoy our trips tremendously and as much as we enjoy the trips with family they are not as relaxing.

We are also trying to figure out our trip next spring. Thinking about heading up to the northwest once again. We love the Oregon coast. Living in the middle of the country makes it so far to get to either coast. However, if we were on the east or west...we would never make it across the country! lol

This will be our 4th trip to the Fiesta.

Hoda said...

LYNNE2 Your weekend sounded good. I am glad. This week you work four days,am I right? I feel very pleased about that too...what happened with the flooding and wet floors, did the landlord ever come to clean the mess?

LOLLY your upcoming trip sounds wonderful. I love New Mexico and Colorado...Texas has ten old fires and only 2 new ones today...they are making progress today...I am happy about that.I check your map every day. Thanks for posting it.

Lolly said...

Glad you enjoy it, Hoda. It is interesting and I did notice the fires were down today. East Texas is getting rain this evening, so maybe more fires will be extinguished.

Think I am going to go bathe and get comfy. Just had some ice cream so my tummy is full!☺

wvgal_dana said...

Lynne I am happy you can take NSAID like Aleve. I have to suffered with the cervical and spinal pain I have. Due to MSAID make my stomach bleed. I wouldn't tell you to go off yours because there is no problem you have had with them. I just hung two sets of curtains yesterday. Today I have pain shooting out from my neck down my arms and out my fingers. I have back pain that shooting down my back into my legs and fire out my feet. Moving around is a struggle. I will not take Narcotics...so I manage as best I can. CVS tylenol does not help so I stopped taking that. I move and I rest and I ask God to get me through another day. My doctor knows what I am going through. Sometimes the patches he gives me help alittle...so that is some help.

wvgal_dana said...

Lolly your get away with just Jack sounds so inviting. It is nice to just sometimes get away together. I am glad you two do that. Memories just made by the two of you for years and years to remember ( : HUGS ♥

Hoda said...

...and the fire map from Texas reports that the two new fires today are 100% contained. Most of the others are 95% contained, some 90% some 80% and one only 60% contained near Kerrville...they are gaining for sure...

Lynne2 said...

Hoda, I'm 5 days for the next 3 weeks!

Sorry about your toe Shirley....sounds pretty painful.

Dana, I love that you are so passionate! You have done the right thing for you. And I pray that if this medication is dangerous that they will remove it from the US market before too many people become victims.

And though you speak of this particular medication, it is true that there are many others with dangerous potential side effects as well. I think perhaps the real bottom line is...if we all took a little better care of ourselves, maybe we would depend less on medications to fix our problems. I myself have been warned that I am pre diabetic, and have not taken steps yet to prevent it from going full blown. MY bad. If I would get serious about loosing weight, I might not need so much Aleve every day. I am guilty, as so many of us are, of looking for a "quick easy fix" instead of taking better care of my health over all. It's so easy to take a pill, not so much to give up chocolate!

Good Evening again Mystery theater was really good-Inspector Lewis and Sgt Hathaway... great team and this one was a 2011 show so No rerun! Very entertaining.
Welcome home Paula and Nick! I sure hope the pair of eagles stay nearby

Hoda - sounds like a perfectly beautiful day. I think I would like
Nelson!
Someone tell me it's true that the new season's show will be starting this week. Yeah!

hedgie said...

Lynne, so glad you had a good weekend. Was it cold up there??

Wanda...so sorry your pastor felt so badly, but also glad that he was there to comfort the pilot's poor sister. And you and Gene sure deserve those kudos the visiting pastor bestowed!!!!

Lynne2 said...

and Hoda, no the landlord didn't come and clean up the mess. Steve and I did. The answer he got to the water in the boiler room was, "we don't have the right filter for the wet/dry vacuum to clean it up, but you guys have a carpet steam cleaner and you can use that". Hmmmm. They didn't offer to use THEIR new steam cleaner. I was not about to use my carpet cleaner, meant for cleaning my carpets in the boiler room to suck up mud and dirt from a concrete floor. So we soaked it all up with rags which we rung out into buckets and dumped outside.

Lynne2 said...

BOY WAS IT COLD!!! Once the sun went down and with the wind....BRRRRRRRR!!!! But during the day it was nice and very refreshing!

Lynne2 said...

Hey Paula, how are things "downey oshun, hon?"

hedgie said...

Lolly, sounds like a fun trip!!

JudyE--yes, race will be on ESPN at noon.

Hoda, just saw that joke recently! Good one!! Poor guy--apparently doesn't learn his lesson, LOL!

hedgie said...

Paula, good to know you are home safe. Yeah---tomato soup with that grilled cheese would be delicious!!

Lynne2 said...

can't remember if I shared this the other day

Stinkbug vs Praying Mantis, a curious reunion

warning, contains graphic feeding video! LOL!

wvgal_dana said...

Prayers for your Pastor Wanda. Bless him for coming to look at the clothes closet. I am sure he is so delighted with all you and Gene and helpers have done.

paula eagleholic said...

Nope, no tomato soup. Don't like it!

The oshun is good, Lynne! Eagles are back! One osprey still around.

paula eagleholic said...

Oh, and cute joke, Hoda!

paula eagleholic said...

Oh, I saw a couple of mantis' today.

And a hummer! He buzzed me, LOL

hedgie said...

OUCH, Shirley! What did you stub it on?? It IS hard to keep ice on an elevated toe!! Hope it feels much better in the morning.

Lolly said...

Very well said, Lynne! Now give up that chocolate!☺ And, the smokes!!! You know it all, Sweetie, now act on it! We love you! We want you to feel good!

Before I lost my weight I was having trouble hiking. Gave up some great hikes. Used the excuse I would care for the kids. Not now! I hike with the best of them!

Lynne2 said...

Bring those mantis back here, Paula! I need about 50 of them to get the stinkbugs!

hedgie said...

Jo...I answered you a few days ago...most of the CBS shows are new starting tomorrow!!! (CSI's, Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods, etc.!!!!) I am so glad!

Lynne2 said...

Lolly, I was actually doing pretty well since not going to MILs for 3 weekends in a row! But geesh, she keeps a LOT of candy and cookies in her house and dang if she didn't hide some in our bags to bring home! UGH! I do so much better when it isn't in my face....

hedgie said...

Oh, Lynne---you need to send that video to Megan!!!!! Good mantis!!

Lynne2 said...

I have already increased walking times with the dogs now that the weather is cooler! That's a good start, albeit a small one.

Lynne2 said...

I shared that on FB Lynn, and Megan saw it there!

Lynne2 said...

speaking of FB, what the heck is the new LIST thing? Good grief.

Lolly said...

Faye, Joey's mom bought junk and had it around. She also had a weight problem. Laurel would get so mad as she was feeding the boys junk when she kept them. This is why Joey developed a weight problem. However, he is learning to eat correctly. His biggest problem though is quantity.

Lynne2 said...

good grief look at the time, I've got to get to bed.....good night and prayers for all!

hedgie said...

I wonder how many SB's a mantis can eat in a day??? Looks like they eat the WHOLE THING!!!!

Lynne-ie---take that candy to work to share!!!

hedgie said...

WHOO HOO....Michael Vick got hurt in the football game....could not finish playing! A small bit of justice!

hedgie said...

Lynne, don't know what new list you are referring to on FB....????

Lolly said...

Calling it a night. Just east of us is getting a load of rain. Guess I just am not living right.

Night all! Sweet dreams!

hedgie said...

Is Joey still on the same diet, Lolly? Seemed So restrictive, calorie wise. He's a big fellow....stature wise....so needs more than that diet allowed.

Lolly said...

On the left, Lynn. They have added "lists". They have family, retirees, etc. listed.

Lolly said...

He is still under a doctors care, Lynn. He does the diet for a while and then goes off for a while. He has now lost 50 lbs. Has a little more to loose.

Lolly said...

I do not agree with the way he is doing it. He says it will stick and he will not gain it back. We will see! He still needs to learn not to eat vast amounts.

Mema Jo said...

Well, I am ready to get tucked into bed.
Everyone take care
Prayers for all your needs
Hugs for all ♥♥♥♥♥♥

hedgie said...

Well, it's a wrap for me for today. Have my RE-SCHEDULED lunch with work pal tomorrow...I will NOT forget this time!! Will need to set alarm and get up earlier than normal. Gotta be out of here by 11AM!
Prayers for all in need. Hope Diann checks in---I've seen her on FB, but it's been a while since she's been here. Guess Margy is sawing logs---she's not returned since she went to snuggle with her blanket!!
Good night. Peace.

Hi, Everyone,
Have finally managed to get caught up here!

There are a number of prayer concerns that I have added to my prayer list! Won't list them all here now, but rest assured that I am keeping on top of the situations!

A few of you mentioned the fact that your clothing seems to be shrinking while being stored in the closet. I, too, have that problem! Some of it can be explained by the fact that Kubby has occasionally put stuff in the dryer and forgotten to put the drying temp. on "delicate"--thus nearly torching my stuff, and making the items more size-appropriate for our 5-year-old GGD! (He did apologize.) I AM trying to watch my portion size and exercise more, though. Hope it helps!

We took Emma to the dog park today, and she had a great time getting her feet all muddy, clear up to her belly! When we got home we put her in the tub and washed the dirt off. The grass was all wet this morning, and there are large areas of plain dirt that need to be reseeded. They are talking about closing the park for 3 months so they can redo the grass and make other improvements!
Not sure where we will go instead, but we'll need to find another dog park, for sure!

Well, need to head off to dreamland earlier tonight. Kubby will be up early for work tomorrow. Have said prayers for everyone, and every creature. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sleep tight, everyone! God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you!

Oh dear, wee nap, equalled almost five hours.

Hoda, lovely report of your time at the Fair...

Wanda, that is unimaginable and terribly sad about the sister of the pilot who crashed...announcing during the very event; It is a blessing that your Pastor Eddie was there for her;
I can understand his being overcome and not being able to continue at the church services....
it's great that he came down to visit you and Gene and the Clothes Closet, bet that soothed his spirit

stronghunter said...

Stopped to say good night. Gonna take my poor toe and go to bed. See you tomorrow.

magpie said...

sure sorry I missed just about everyone while I was snoozing.

Lynne, I take it YOU saw some NE Asters....
It is TIME to find them here, but with the different weather this season, nothing surprises me with the wildflowers.
I have two places to go to check on them and will do that this week sometime

stronghunter said...

Yes, very sad and touching story about the pastor and the sister of the pilot.

Happy Monday! I hope there is such a thing.

Sounds like NICK and EMMA will be getting baths! As long as they're playing in the stink / mud, not suffering smelly skin afflictions, I think dirty dogs are happy dogs! FloBear is in the latter group and loves his bath. He'll walk into the bathroom sometimes and just rest his head on the tub!

I just got caught up on the blog and I should be picking out something to wear today. MARGY, I wish you had a color for Monday to help me make up my mind!

LYNNE sounds like filly Jade and family are beautiful horses! Love the smell of a horses muzzle!

JO, love robins but hate that they eat so many of my worms. My yard needs all the help it can get.

JUDIE, was it a huge process having your yard dethatched and seeded? Does your gardener do it? My weeds, not much grass in there, need some serious help. I vowed I was going to do something and have beautiful grass this year. Didn't happen yet.

HODA, volunteers and gets to see an eagle. Maybe there's a lesson there.♥

LOLLY, I would do back flips to see an owl anywhere! How cool, one in your bird bath! Did you get pictures when it happened?

KAY, I think I'll need to come over and serve you up some ice cream to make sure you keep the weight on you!
{{BIG Hug}}

WANDA, you and Gene deserve the accolades for all your hard work. I'm glad someone takes notice. Prayers for your Pastor and the announcer.

Gotta run! Here's hoping we see an eagle in the nest later this morning!

magpie said...

Safe travels, Morning GLori....
I am sure your adoring audience will be happy to hear your Happy Voice again today!

How's Paul? LOL!

JudyEddy said...

LORI I did go to the beach Paul didn't say anything about it being a nice sunset but I went anyway and it was a sort of pretty one there was a ribbon of clouds along the horizon so the sun set early in the clouds I did get a picture and a video on facebook the funny thing is the video I was walking and taking the video because of it going down behind the clouds it didn't want to wait for me to get there so if you watch the video you may get dizzy for the walking LOL

JudyEddy said...

Something funny when Angie was young she would stand in front of the TV and just stare at Paul on the TV Weather and as she grew up she said she wanted to marry him I would pretend argue with her that she can't marry someone I wanted to marry I have been watching him since as long as I can remember over 20 yrs

I put in for a day of on the 10 of OCT to get my truck a check up before I go on vacation I hope they approve it Its hard to find time to do that I was just going go to work one day then about 8 drive up there and have then bring me back to work in the courtesy van and pick me up when the truck is done But I think I will just take the whole day off instead of that. If they approve my day off The funny thing is that is the week I am on vacation

JudyEddy said...

and if they don't approve then I will have to just take it up during one of my work days or I could go after work but in case something need fixed its best to go early in the morning Ok I will stop rambling now and get ready for work I know I will not be able to see the eagles with the sun coming up later each day until the time changes Unless I stick with the new schedule that is in the system for the next two week

Shirley, sorry about the stubbed toe. Not fun. Hope it's better today.

Jo, I watched Inspector Lewis and enjoyed it also.

Whoo hoo live feed!

Hope everyone's toes feel better...amazing how much that hurts!

paula eagleholic said...

Wanda, don't think Lily will have a cub this year...

Costume Lady said...

Goodness gracious, the nest looks like a grenade exploded in the middle and blew out the crib rails:) A lot of work ahead of Belle and her beau. It will be fun watching them, to see if they get along and who is going to be the boss of the construction:)

wvgal_dana said...

Good Morning Hedgie-Lynn/e (although your gone for lunch date with Ann), Margy (nice you take the lady shopping), Wanda, Lolly, Mema Jo, JudyE, and Paula.

Paula did Nick get his bath yet?

Costume Lady said...

LOL, Paula, might be a good thing for Lily not to have another cub...she would have to get a BIG den for new cubs and Hope and Faith. I wonder if Hope will be going off on her own, soon? And, when will she be old enough to have her own cubs? Inquiring minds want to know:)

wvgal_dana said...

Changing my avatar getting ready for eagle season ( :

That branch with leaves will be gone. When our eagles come in to do nestorations. Their sharpe beaks will break it off and maybe use it.

Hoping everyone has a good day !

Wanda that would be nice. Don't know how old Hope needs to be to start having cubs???

wvgal_dana said...

I am terribly sorry Judie my eyes missed you coming in. You was already there cause I read your comment. Yet I forgot to said
" Hi Good Morning ". ♥ Is Darth being a good boy?

Judie said...

Wanda, so sad for your pastor. I'm sure he is grateful to have been near the pilot's sister to offer comfort.

Loretta, have a good dr's report, please.

Lynn, know you've departed for lunch. Hope it was a good one.

Lori, the workers for the lawn company did all the work. The chore is having to keep the seeds damp so they will germinate (those the birds haven't eaten).

Margy, enjoy the shopping with your 93 year old gal pal.

Judy, congrats on your teams winning.

Becoming anxious about locating Donna bear and her cubs. Don't recall anything being reported on Lily being pregnant.

Wishing all a lovely day. BBL

Hello,

Went to get routine blood work done this morning. Since I was fasting, I did not want to delay
once Hunter was on the bus.

Came home and had a very nice brunch--waffles, with real maple syrup and real butter and sausages. Hate to think how much fat and how many calories that was.

Oh, how nice to see that the live cam is up. The nest does look a mess, doesn't it?

Mema Jo said...

I missed the Decorah eagle in the nest -
I was washing my hair and Dana I got your message - I'm sure they will be back - I'll keep my eyes out for them.

wvgal_dana said...

I have written to Decorah and ask them if they could move the camera back some.

Mema Jo said...

That would be good, Dana.

Shirley - you did good with your brunch!
I know when I fast and then have to wait for my turn to get blood drawn, I am famished! I usually grab coffee and
an egg/cheese sandwich.

wvgal_dana said...

It says Most produce their first litters at 3 to 7 years of age. With abundant food, female black bears produce their first litters at 3 or 4 years ...

Black bear females typically produce cubs every two years once they become mature. The 2-year reproductive cycle is genetically timed to fit the annual cycle of plant growth and fruiting of the region.

Judie said...

Quick visit.

A late good morning to you Dana. Yes, Darth is doing just fine. Keeping the grass seed dampened.

Jo, I'm with you congratulating Shirley on her calorie-free/fat-free scrumptious brunch.

Hope was conceived when Lily was three, if I remember correctly.

Back to looking up killers. Bye

I miss having the sound button on our live cam. When I have two cams up I sometimes want to hit the sound to see which cam I am hearing the birds at.

wvgal_dana said...

Well I just turn Decorah down and our live feed has no sound at all :(

wvgal_dana said...

Something black was just flying across the Decorah nest or running across the Decorah nest. It was FAST!! Happened twice.

Questions about the incredible edible bouquet--I should have described when sending the pics to Lynn, but better late than never ! The "big white things" are banana covered in white and dark chocolate---very sweet the kids say. Other ingredients are:
Plain and chocolate covered strawberries, honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple and grapes. A nice blend of plain, which I could enjoy and fancy for the kids and visiting nurses. I use the term "are" loosely, for the arrangement is almost gone now. Dear Sweet Unnamed Angel---you gave us so much pleasure---no way to adequately thank you ! She did it on behalf of all you Momsters and I thank you as well ! Moreover, I thank you again for your ongoing prayers ! I'm feeling little stronger today than yesterday and so it's just baby steps at a time, but there is progress. God is good !

Kay said...

Liver, oh, ugh ! I love chicken livers, but don't think they're iron rich. The iron tablets will have to do the job. I am making sure there is protein in every meal, something I don't always do, so hope that will help. Today's nurse will take blood for testing and we'll soon know if the iron is coming up.

Oh, joy ! The nest cam is up ! We are going to have some fun watching Belle as she whips it and Truder into shape !

SHARON, I agree--an abscess hitting any vital organ is very scary ! We're both lucky ours were caught in time. I also agree that Momster prayers are awesome beyond belief !

HODA, thanks for the big and theraputic laugh over the "drunk on the way to the lecture" ! Hilarious !

ANDY, would have to pass on the ice cream---once my favorite food---but your company would be a great tonic ! Wish CA and OH were just a bit closer !☺

wvgal_dana said...

Good to hear from you Kay. I am glad even though it is "baby steps of feeling better". That is what it will be....slowly. So just don't force anything. Let God provide you with HIS NEEDED CARE♥......PRAYERS CONTINUE AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL YOU ARE FULLY RECOVERED ( : God Bless You and the nurse and your family.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Do you all see the face in the nest?

magpie said...

I do Sharon!
the nose looks like it's shaped like a heart ♥

Good to see YOUR face too...

its smile is a little broken up though - hope it is not sticking its tongue out at us, but it looks, well, Happy!

Okay, I am headed to pick up James at school
See Y'all and You'uns Later.
Hope The Day Goes, Very Well

I think our nest looks to be in pretty good shape....

Even though it blocks our view, I am happy to see our Sycamore tree sprouting new branches!

Kay said...

I see that face, too ! It has a gnome-like quality to it, I think. Cute !

Thanks, gals, it's good to be home !

paula eagleholic said...

Kay, good to see you here...hope that means you are feeling better than yesterday! I love those edible bouquets, they are really good!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Good afternoon everyone!!! I sure would love to see an eagle in that beautiful sycamore palace!!! I am missing them terribly! Hope all is well with you guys!!

Hoda said...

Clunk on the live feed and the camera shakes twice!!!

Hoda said...

We are eagle deprived for sure!!! Back to seeing faces in the nest!!! Gnomes, heart shapes, half smiles and maybe tongue sticking out...reliable momsters SHARON KAY And MARGY...the problem is I see it too!!! We need a desperate fix of eagle sighting soon...LOL

Kay said...

HODA, LOL, you are so right, we do need an eagle fix. I see a little brown animal sticking it's head out of the nest at about 7 spot. Yep, this is getting bad !

Lolly said...

Lawn mowed, edged, blown, pre-emergent applied and pots watered. Now, I need to go shower and wash my hair. Need to get to the grosserie store, but NOT like this!

Can not see the face in the nest. I have tried!

Morning or rather good afternoon, Kay. Glad you are feeling better today. Take it easy...one day at a time! I remember when Mother got fruit in the hospital. She could eat very little of it, but those of us who were her care givers really appreciated it!

I am barefoot all the time, too! Only way to go!

Lolly said...

If an eagle should fly in about now, I think I would swallow my tongue. It has been so long since I have seen an eagle in the nest.

Hoda said...

Good morning since I forgot to say good morning in my earlier posts...I was so excited to hear a clunk and see the webcam moving!!!

I am off to yoga nad errands and I think it is a jacket type day, I will take my fleece out.
BBL HAGD.

Hoda said...

Keep an eye on that camera, there is n eagle on the camera case I feel certain...

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Eagle Eye is on the J-O-B!! I posted a picture on my blog page but it is not big enough. I also posted one on Facebook!

Lolly said...

Yea!!! I now see the face! LOL Sharon posted it on fb. I could see it there. It jumped out at me. If you have not seen it yet...take a gander at just the bottom leaf. On that leaf you see a distinct face..chin, mouth, nose, eyes and, I guess, big ears. lol

Hi Jim so glad you dropped in. I talked to Red earlier and he is feeling better. Dropped his oxygen from 3 down to 2 which is GOOD!!! ( :

Hi Jim. Glad you stopped by.

Back and settled in after a good lunch, a 1/2 hr. wait for flu shot, and a grocery store that appeared to be barely staffed! ARGH! It is Pirate's Day, so good day to use ARGH!!!!!
Ahoy, Matey's!

Now to catch up with all your doin's!!!!

hedgie said...

Jo and Wanda---I'm a barefoot girl, too! Always have been! My Daddy used to tease me and say I was a West Virginia hillbilly----guess that turned out to be true in a way!!!!!

Wanda, there has been no mention of Lily being pregnant.....I doubt that it's possible.....there was no speration from the cubs this year, and nursing BOTH Hope and Faith makes it unlikely that she would have gone into estrus.

hedgie said...

They said that Hope was trying to dig a den, but she gave up! I suspect she's a momma's girl for another winter!

stronghunter said...

Hello again,

Been checking out bowling leagues at the local lanes. I can go in tomorrow to meet a group that needs a new member.

Just learned a new fact from helping with Hunter's homework. There are 5 oceans in the world--Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Arctic, and Southern. Hunter was pleased that he taught me something new.

hedgie said...

She, of course, isn't quite 2 so doubt that she is of breeding age yet.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Andrew just called. He is coming home Friday night and going to spend the night with me in my house! I am so excited. He hasn't even been here since I moved back home.

hedgie said...

LOL, Judie---I thought you meant that the BIRDS had done the de-thatching and were strewing seed!!!

stronghunter said...

And we were thinking that Hope might have do den alone last winter. How things have changed.

JudyEddy said...

I almost panicked the cam stopped and the stupid little round this keeps circling I hit refresh and it came back just to do it again then I refreshed again and so far its working is anyone else having issues with it stopping it

stronghunter said...

Have to den alone. . .

JudyEddy said...

WVGALDANA we have a volume button on the cam its the speaker looking thing on the right corner near the work Menu and the cam keeps stopping WHY

stronghunter said...

Not having cam problems here, Judy.

JudyEddy said...

HEY KAY Heres looking at ya kid

I opened up another browser and the cam is now running and not stopping who know what the issue was
I am still reading todays comments bbl

Lolly said...

Just got home from buying "grosseries". Going to grill some salmon this evening. Yum!

Going to do tomorrow morning what you did this morning, Shirley. Time for blood tests, so will not eat in the morning. I have no problem with that as long as I can have my coffee!!!

hedgie said...

Imaginations running wild!! Lolly, face is on the limb----you see one on a leaf??? ROFL!

Lolly said...

Hear the children on the playground!

Lolly said...

It is there, clearly!! Sharon found it this morning! Look at that leaf!!! The face is right side up, facing you...looking right at you!

Lolly said...

Not a green leaf, but the bottom white one in the nest.

Judie said...

Wonderful news, Sharon. Know you are really happy.

Busy day, Lynn. Glad lunch was good. Nah, the birds are just gorging themselves on seeds.

Shirley, will have to look as I do not ever recall learning about a Southern Ocean. Thank Hunter for "learning" me something new.

Cam was fine for me.

Headed for the kitchen in a few. BBL

hedgie said...

Shirley, great news about the league needing a new member! GO for it!!!
Hmmmm...is there a difference between a sea and an ocean??? THe North Sea, the Baltic Sea, the China Sea.......gotta look up the difference. I would have thought that the Southern was a sea!!

JudyEddy said...

LOL on LOLLY swallowing her tongue

Which leaf are we talking about the top one

JudyEddy said...

Ok I see you had already said at the time I was asking which leaf I will contiune to look

JudyEddy said...

I read that HODA heard a clunk I am not going to the b---h tonite just in case they show up LIVE CAME WE HAVE MISSED YOU

JudyEddy said...

Ok I think I will do some laundry and a little picking up I have gotten so lazy

hedgie said...

Oh, I thought you meant on a green leaf!!!! Yep, the face has been IN the nest off and on for quite some time---in one shape or another!! Those dried leaves have stayed put since before the live feed went down.

hedgie said...

Shar----know you are going to have a rough time waiting for the weekend! Great that Andrew is coming home!!!

JudyEddy said...

.I googled it

Many people use the terms "ocean" and "sea" interchangeably when speaking about the ocean, but there is a difference between the two terms when speaking of geography (the study of the Earth's surface).

Seas are smaller than oceans and are usually located where the land and ocean meet. Typically, seas are partially enclosed by land.
