Today is post number 2,000 for this blog. Thank you all for your support, and here's hoping we have a happier, more active eagle season next time around.
Helen aka Mits posted on FB an article Bald Eagle Shot, Killed In Western Md. The bald eagle was found and reported on Sept. 16 in the 14000 block of Hazen Road. A preliminary investigation revealed that the eagle was killed by a gunshot, police said. They are seeking information
LOLLY I love the pictures and how doe you get your comment area to be so easy to comment on it is different than most of us out there I wonder if there is a place where we can change it like a setting sort of think
A silly question Is it possible to put two monitor on a computer I was just thinking how nice it would be to have full screen on all the time and with two screens you could I was going to buy a lap top just for that reason but may check in to the two on one
I am back and life is good. It is with a breeze and the sun came out so I did not need to be wearing my fleece jacket,I unzipped it. We still have tourists around, today I heard people from Germany and England and New Zealand. The storm we had last night seemed to have cleared the air...
So sad---a blad eagle was found dead (shot) near Cumberland, MD....dead for about a week, they said on the news. :( I'm sure the chances of catching the perp are almost nil, but hope something else befalls him.
Thanks for the clarification, Judy and Shirley......interesting!
That should have said BALD eagle...but see that Jo already shared the sad news. Need to check out FB. And WHOO HOO---new JEOPARDY season starts tonight!!!
Okay, see we all do see the same facial features down in the nest!
DUH LOLLY I thought you just posted a picture of a panda at the same time you did the face in the nest which is oh so cool I keep staring at it ODD silly me
HODA thanks for the link to the monitor issue YEAH now I just got to figure it out I have to look on the back of my processor to see if I have those ports
Hedgie-Lynn/e it is already on the blog here at 12:04pm about the bears usually have cubs every 2 years. So Lilly won't be having any cubs this year. Other information off the Lily site is on that comment too.
WVGALDANA you asked when I was going on vaca I leave here on the 13 and get to NC on 14 I am to old to do straight it kills my neck and back so I make in two days I will be there a week I did put in for two weeks and two days that was when I was suppose to come to open house but thats a bust as we all know
I'll head back home on the 22th don't have to be at work till the 1st of Nov
We got home from soup/salad dinner at Bob's and had 1 phone call waiting. "Mema we were out playing in the yard and saw something fly and it had a white tail and a black body with a white head. It is a bald eagle and he is really big! He flew into one tree in the field by us and then to another one - but now he is sitting still and fluffing his feathers. It is really a bald eagle Mema and we are still watching him!
Hedgesville you have an really big eagle on Providence Church Road and there are 5 very excited children from 8 - 1 yrs old who know exactly a bald eagle when they see one!
My heart is so joyful for them and the excitement they are enjoying..
I got just a short video didn't see the landing was checking on my air it seemed to have stopped and the cool on was flashing so I turned it off for a few and now its seems to be working I thought I heard a sort of thud just a bit ago in the attic so something must have tripped the thing and all I care is it is working now
Great report from Anthony, Jo!!!!!! Of course, those kids know an eagle when they see one!!! WooHoo! Not too surprised...they aren't that far from Sleepy Creek! And remember back in the late winter/early spring, I saw a juvie fly over twice here! Does that boy have a camera???!!!
I love the story of the Grand Children with the Eagle JO...How thrilling and good for them for phoning...KUDOS to them and to your communicating the love of the ealges to them...YEAY JO...
When Truder and Belle first arrived I lost me feed for a short while and then it reconnected...did anyone else have that expereince...was I flustered...I was already besides myself because it would not post with bold and kept telling me I was doing something wrong...
Cooking dinner but just had to get on to announce that Michael made Texas Super Lawyer for 2011!!!!!!
We got our issue of Texas Monthly today and Jack was reading it. Michael has not told us. This is two years in a row!!!!! That's MY boy!!! My baby boy!!!!!!!♥
I am just so excited and oh, so proud! Will call him after dinner. Two years in a row! His next goal will be to be in the top 100, and then the top 10. LOL
AW! Thank you secret Momster for the gift to Kay, and welcome home Kay! Edible Arrangement, huh? Bet I know who sent it!
OMG did Caro see the plane crash? No, I see she didn't actually see it...that's a good thing. Weird that she had that "feeling". Poor Margy...how awful for the 2 of them to have to hear/be near such a tragedy.
Lynne2....Lori transported a rescue dog from VA Beach.....it has a cherry eye...not sure how long she will have him before he goes to either a foster or furever home.
Nope---Secret Momster is NOT who I suspect you think it is, Lynne!!!!
didn't know this....bring hummer feeders IN when it's cold outside at night, put back in the AM, or the hummers drinking the cold nector could get hypothermia.
Just had a little disappointment. 6 or 7 years ago we bought Ashley a cactus. (I THOUGHT she couldn't kill a cactus!) While potting it part broke off. No big deal, I potted the broken off part and kept it for myself. Ashley's cactus died, of course! Mine rooted and has thrived. Well, a couple days ago we discovered it was going to bloom!!!!! We were so excited. Then, tonight, Jack found the bloom broken off. :( I have put it in water but do not know if it will open or not. Double drat!!!
Lynn, it is Texas Super Lawyers, then they have the top 100 Super Lawyers from the first group and top 10 from the first group.
LOL I just talked with Michael. Congratulated him and he asked "for what?" Duh! "Oh, that!", he said. He was busy giving Zacharooski a bath. Zach answered the phone when I called. After talking to Zach for a while I asked to speak to Michael. "You can talk to him tomorrow", Zach told me. That kid is a character!
My 5 dogwoods have all changed - lots of berries on them for flowers next year
The grass is getting green again and I suppose there will be one or more times for mowing.
Lolly (think it was you ?) Castle is new tonight at 10. Hubby thought last season she had gotten shot and died. Will be interesting to see what is going on tonight.
Watched DWTS and checked in for a moment. Have been trying to keep up.
Lolly, congratulations to Michael. You are rightfully proud.
Hoda, so pleased that you had such a good day.
I missed the eagles, too. Things were busy here when they made their visit.
Glad that your arrival to work will feel more secure, Judy.
I think tomorrow is your day at the big schoolhouse, Judie. I hope it goes well.
Not right that your landlord left the clean-up to you Lynne.
Loved the story about the grandkids spotting the eagle, Jo.
I want to continue . . . so much else I want to say, but my brain is quitting. I have to get to bed. Will be rushing off to the bowling lanes as soon as I get Hunter on the bus.
Forgot to tell Shirley I hope the bowling group is compatible for you. That would be good fun and exercise. School should be fine. They love serial killers -- perverts.
Turning on the puter I got the three small video on the blog with its below a picture I tried taking in the parking lot 2 yellow butterflies dancing was so pretty I did a video but could see I could believe I could seen them I put a circle around them On my puter they are bigger than the blog pic but you still can see them tonight visit 3 mini videos
Michael was just trying to play it down. However, it is very significant. Oh the firms websight and on Michael's bio it mentions 2010. Now they will add 1011. If it is not big deal, why did they put it on there. This is an honor voted on by other lawyers. That is significant!
Osprey, Eagle in Berkeley County Two in Jefferson County Wow, what a great day, except for the news about the ridiculous shooting of an eagle in Cumberland Md...
Lynn, that eagle might not be too far from Sleepy Creek, but what impresses me more, is that it is not too far from YOUR LAIR
Good Evening Eagle Pals
Congratulations to Michael, and his wonderful parents, Lolly !!
My dogwoods don't have any berries....I only have one that EVER does, but some years it doesn't---guess this is one of them. Has anyone else ever heard about dogwoods being male or female? Wonder if that has anything to do with berries or not.
Gave Nick his bath...in the tub. He was very good! Gave him treats afterwards. He smells better...still working on the odor on his head though! Maybe some perfume...
Lynn - The pigeon stayed for a while longer preening and walking around on our roof. Since I was busy doing things, I went inside and when I went outside about a half hour later, he had left!
It was neat to see.
Shirley - Hope the toe is feeling better!
Kay - Praying that you're able to eat a little more each meal and that you're gaining your strength back.
Wanda - Touching about your Pastor.... And you and Gene DO do an amazing work with the Soup Kitchen and the Clothes Closet. You are truly a Blessing!
Jo - Wonderful story about the grandkids seeing an eagle!
I'm heading upstairs to bed, but wanted to wish you all restful and peaceful sleep!
May God Bless and Protect us all and the critters we dearly love xoxo ♥♥♥
There has been counseling set up for the children who witnessed the plane crash on Saturday... it will be done through the schools, as needed
NTSB in town for a few days, says a preliminary report in a few days, final report, could take months... There was some complete video-taping by some of the Air Guard Personnel, and also some spectators
and thanks Lynn for the Osprey sighting report at Poor House Farm Park....should be about migration time, wonder if it is passing through from...who knows where !
Lynn I was looking at the grouping of leaves that has been there awhile
looked like eyes, nose shaped like a heart leaf, and then the mouth leaves were kind of akimbo, which is why I said, almost like it was sticking its tongue out in a friendly way.... I was seeing something altogether different from everyone else I think... definitely had not observed what Lolly and Sharon posted on their picture blogs
I need to read back about 20 BUT hope this isn't a repeat.... Bear report is up.............
Now, we’re waiting for Donna to be spotted somewhere. We are hopeful. Her cubs have not been spotted alone, so we are hoping she is just resting somewhere as her metabolism slows down. She has taken her collar off in past years and wasn’t spotted for as long as 11 months.
Judy Thanks again for capturing the eagle couples visit this evening. Sure was long overdue but then our cam has been down so who knows - those leaves need to dry up now and blow away!
Good Evening, Everyone! Have managed to get caught up. Was busy earlier getting some laundry done and cleaning up the house. Also took Emma for a walk. She is getting a little bit better about pulling on the leash, every day. Oh, golly, she and I both really got startled this morning! A rat trap went off in the recessed lighting shelf, almost directly above my recliner! We both jumped about 3 feet! Kubby got out the ladder when he got home from work, put the rat in the trash, and reset the trap. Yech--it was a big one! My girl Emma has been watching a black spider that's up high on the wall, right by the ceiling. It's up there too high to smoosh, but if it moves, I'm sure she'll let me know. She's been pointing at it all day! She's our First Alert puppy! She had been acting like she heard something in the attic, too. Must've been the now-defunct rat.
By the way, our mud puppy got put in the bathtub as soon as we got home from the dog park yesterday. She loves getting a bath, too. Oh, WV Dana, Sept. 15th was Emma's first Birthday. She's playing it for all it's worth, though, so it's turning into a Birthday week!
Prayers continue for Wanda & Gene's pastor, and the announcer.
Shirley, prayers for your owie toe! Gosh, that hurts, doesn't it?!
Prayers for Red--glad he's feeling better!
Lynn, glad you enjoyed your lunch out, and got a flu shot.
Sharon, GREAT news about Andrew! Bet you can hardly wait!
Lolly, wonderful news about Michael! Congratulations!
Mema Jo, LOVE your phone call from Anthony! How exciting!
Lynn & Jo, I think the last episode of Rizzoli & Isles was the season finale. Not positive about it, though.
Well, getting pretty tired already, so think I'll call it a day. Have said prayers for everyone, and for every creature. Sleep tight, everyone. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
BRAVO SHIRLEY for joining a league. Look forward to hearing of your experiences and your impressions.
I am off for tonight. Tomorrow there is Yoga, and Autobiography Writing Course and Dragon Boating.A bit crowded but not too many more times for Dragon Boats, actually Thursday is the last time and we beach the boat on Saturday.
How wonderful! A visit last night from the wayward duo. Thanks for the great reporting HODA, SHARON and LYNNE!
JUDYE, I agree. Sometimes just fun to take a break and watch. Geez, I have a big smile on my face.
LOLLY, the mother of Michael TEXAS Super Lawyer of the Year! You need to put your sunshine back up, Lolly. I can feel you beaming from here! That is awesome, for all of you.
JUDYE, thanks for the videos of last night's visit. It's so great that we can see the visit even if we miss it -because of you! Gracias!
SHIRLEY, good luck with your prospective bowling team today. My Grandfather bowled on several different leagues/teams each week. It was always special when we were kids and would visit and he would take us bowling with him...He had several 300 game bowling trophies. After their house burned down in the 70's, they rebuilt it with 2 regulation bowling lanes in the basement! His hundreds of trophies, plus dozens of balls and many pairs of bowling shoes (for everyone) are still there and it still works!
CoCo, the rescued Bulldog that we brought home is staying at the rescue which is in Frederick. She's doing well and having fun with the other Bullies there, about 4 right now, plus the homeowners 3 Bulldogs! I have enough trouble keeping up after two between eye drops for FBear and Dalai dumping her laundry basket of toys over every 15 minutes! Dalai also thinks she's a cat herder and comes running to keep them all in line every time someone says a cat's name in an aggrivated tone, or she hears one squeal while playing with another cat. It can be a regular zoo around here!
LINDA, hope you get your glasses done! Last time, not even a yr ago, I ordered two pair, and already I can't use them for reading! Don't think they made them strong enough! Not very happy with AMERICA'S BEST (NOT!) about that.
KAY, I'm so glad you're home and on the mend. You should be brand new in time for your big birthday next month! (Big Hug)
So sorry I missed Belle n' Truder, but happy with the reportage and pics !
Nurse left at 4 and I slept for two hours. Then kids arrived with scrumptious beef n' cheese enchiladas. They left after Julie assisted me with Saran Wrapping my arm and standing by while I showered. Tonight will be a repeat, but the meal will be Julie's special mac n' cheese, with whole wheat pasta on my behalf. No nurses expected and I think it will be a laid back day.
Tried to watch some TV after the kids left, but fell asleep again, so now, here I am, rarin' to go ! Giving in to the Sandman whenever he calls---schedule can be worked out later.
LOLLY, hurray for Michael ! It may be no big deal to him, but we Momsters know better !
SHIRLEY, hope your toe is all better and that you've found the right bowling team ! Lots of fun in store. I was on teams in the 60's and 70's here in Columbus---loved it !
ANDY, ick, rats in your home ? Hope this is the last one !
MEMA JO, how sweet it is that you are helping raise those great grands with an appreciation for the awesome wonder Bald Eagles are !
PAULA, somehow in my skimming I missed out on what made Nick a stinky pup. Sounds like you've got it under control now though.
WANDA, what's on the menu at the kitchen today ? Kudoes again to you and Gene for the way you give of yourselves on behalf of those in need.
This was on facebook so if your home might want to watch the nest don't know why the crane is going there Hancock Wildlife Foundation Let's Try it Again!
Karen has told me that David has scheduled a crane for the two Delta nests for this Wednesday Sept. 21 I am not going to ask her for a time at each nest... Just keep your eyes peeled and spread the word if you see them.
NOTE: this refers to The Delta 2 Nest and the Delta OWL nest
MARGY where is your face in the nest Is it where you can grab a pic of it on the green leaves?
Great news LOLLY You should be a proud mom for raising such a good son MARGY where is your face in the nest Is it where you can grab a pic of it on the green leaves?
You remember the guy that killed his wife and shot the two pastor Well he killed another wife 25 years ago was claimed an accident gun went off while cleaning well now they say that was probably wrong If he would have convicted then and in jail the second wife wouldn't have been killed so sad they way things work out
HODA I too had issues last nite when I went to post about the visit I tried blolds and it kept telling can't except htnl etc and I know I had it typed that why I decided just to watch
I was just about ready to leave I have 6 min so I will say so long LORI and have a good day I hope they show up for you all and I will be at work if they do That is why I have decided to keep my new schedule just for the eagles call me silly HUH
I've got a cam!!! Did we know it was back or do I get to be the first. I didn't see anyone post that it was back up, but I probably don't read back enough. When did it come on?
Yes, I had been checking the still cam, but that just doesn't "do" it for me! The last time I checked the live cam was probably early yesterday morning, or at least I thought I had. I can't get on during the day and usually don't really get on in the evening, so if I don't catch it at this hour it's probably not going to happen. So we are back on live but no eagle visits?
Good morning! Thanks to however got it for the video of Belle and company in the nest last night! That was good for what ailed me!!! Hope everyone has a great day. I am watching the came this morning with a hopeful heart!!
I cruised through the posts from March 2006 and April 2006 last night...it was such a treat, and I think everyone would get a charge out of it. The pictures posted almost daily, of the nest, the eagles and the eaglets.....fantastic !!!
I made a lot of notes and will write about it more later
but just to watch the enthusiasm build...is wonderful !!
JudyE in answer to your question, what face I was seeing was IN the Nest with the leaves, but I think they are all re-arranged now. Lolly and Sharon had the "other face" posted on their picture blogs, as you already know I think
just want to mention...that I "saw" on the original blog posts Glo, Sharon, Mema Jo, Paula, Nilla, Sunny, a "Sandy" which I don't think is our Shepherdstown Sandy but not sure, and other names that were not familiar I like this post from Steve on 4-4-06:
Thanks to Eagle friend camwatcher Jo and her grandson for their pictures
so much more I would like to add, but I better NOT be late for work

CONGRATULATIONS to MICHAEL and his PARENTS...WAY TO GO!!!
while Steve is in the shower and I wait for the dryer to finish, I'll attempt to read all that I missed over the weekend.
aw Paula....I'm sorry you missed them too. It was shear dumb luck that I happened to pull the cam up as they made the entrance.
PAULA I wished you were watching when they first arrived as I felt sure you would be able to tell right away that it was Truder that arrived first...
I am just so excited and oh, so proud! Will call him after dinner. Two years in a row! His next goal will be to be in the top 100, and then the top 10. LOL
Mema Jo that was really NEAT! that the kids noticed the eagle and that is something they will remember for a long time ( :
Yep Sleepy Creek and there was one once at Poor House Farm. So they are coming back into this area.
As Suzanne would say when she was on here; "Eyes to the skies".
OK, I'll just comment as I go...
Lori found a dog?
Hope Kathryn got the furniture in before rain...
AW! Thank you secret Momster for the gift to Kay, and welcome home Kay! Edible Arrangement, huh? Bet I know who sent it!

BABY GATOR? JudyE!
Congrats to Michael, Lolly, but seems like "Super Lawyer" would be more important than Top 100 or Top 10!!!!
Lynne2....Lori transported a rescue dog from VA Beach.....it has a cherry eye...not sure how long she will have him before he goes to either a foster or furever home.
Nope---Secret Momster is NOT who I suspect you think it is, Lynne!!!!

Gee, that's GOOD info to know, Lynne!
Did anyone see the osprey in the excitement of our nest visit?
Just had a little disappointment. 6 or 7 years ago we bought Ashley a cactus. (I THOUGHT she couldn't kill a cactus!) While potting it part broke off. No big deal, I potted the broken off part and kept it for myself. Ashley's cactus died, of course! Mine rooted and has thrived. Well, a couple days ago we discovered it was going to bloom!!!!! We were so excited. Then, tonight, Jack found the bloom broken off. :(
I have put it in water but do not know if it will open or not. Double drat!!!
Osprey? what osprey?
Lynn, it is Texas Super Lawyers, then they have the top 100 Super Lawyers from the first group and top 10 from the first group.
LOL I just talked with Michael. Congratulated him and he asked "for what?" Duh! "Oh, that!", he said. He was busy giving Zacharooski a bath. Zach answered the phone when I called. After talking to Zach for a while I asked to speak to Michael. "You can talk to him tomorrow", Zach told me. That kid is a character!
Yes, Lynn, what osprey?
Forgot to mention how noticeably the leaves have begun to change in the mountains!
Don't recall seeing a recent post from Diann....
Didn't read any additional info on Linda's pigeon either....
Nice that Zack is screening calls for his dad!
Rain is moving in to western MD now....looks to be a soggy day tomorrow.
ROFL Zach's comment to you, Lolly!
I bet you just forgot to say "Please"
well, clothes are dry. Off to fold, shower and hit the rack. Good night and prayers for all!
No, I said "please"! I even pointed out that I said please. LOL
I really need to tell all of you about Zacharooski. He is something else!!!
Hit the rack??? You mean hit the sack? LOL
Leaves are changing here too. Changing to brown. The trees are dying. :(
Military speak Lolly!
the bunks look like racks, or shelves. Picked this up from Steve.
My 5 dogwoods have all changed - lots of berries on them for flowers next year
The grass is getting green again and I suppose there will be one or more times for mowing.
Lolly (think it was you ?) Castle is new tonight at 10. Hubby thought last season she had gotten shot and died. Will be interesting to see what is going on tonight.
of course you can also "hit the sack" or "hit the hay", or "log some ZZZZZs"
Oh, thanks, Jo. Love Castle! Jack is watching football, guess I will head to the other room to watch Castle.
Or hit Jack! No No! Did not mean that!
Have learned something new!
Just checking in to say Hi to everyone!!
I've been away from the blog for a couple days.......just busy here at home!
Yesterday just filled up fast with church, laundry and I don't even know what else!
Today we were out most of the day doing errands, grossery shopping, and we went to the apple orchard and picked some honey crisp apples! My favorite!
Need to catch up here, but that may be tomorrow.
Tomorrow I have to go back up to NY for an eye exam and to order glasses. I'm way overdo!
Hope everyone here is doing well. I need to read back and see.
And we split, too!!
Never mind...... I can't find my place on this blog!!
Good news, Judy. Hope the prospective renter checks out as okay.
Very sad news of the bald eagle. I cannot understand why but then I cannot understand killing any animal. Just me. No need to respond.
Hoda, so pleased you had a good day. Didn't even really need the fleece. lol
So sorry I missed Belle and her suitor. So happy others did.
Jo, what great fun the children saw and recognized a bald eagle and just had to let you know. Awesome future momsters and dadsters.
Congratulations to Michael.
Not to worry Hoda. You will have many more opportunities to see our eagles. I missed them also.
The sandperson has arrived. Early day for the big school house.
The night light is on for anyone who needs to arise in the darkness and for those who enter from the West coast. Restful sleep for all.
Night, Judie!
Jack gave me the TV! Watching Castle but have my laptop.
See you tomorrow.
Ospray link at my 6:45 posting.
Seen at one of our county parks!
Gotcha', Lolly.....so Michael doesn't even think it's a big deal, huh??!!!
Lynne2--I don't remember Linda ever telling us the final outcome with the pigeon.
And there's Linda.....if you did all that canning Sat., no wonder you haven't had time to be here, gal!
Doing a Margie.
Forgot to tell Shirley I hope the bowling group is compatible for you. That would be good fun and exercise. School should be fine. They love serial killers -- perverts.
Turning on the puter I got the three small video on the blog with its below a picture I tried taking in the parking lot 2 yellow butterflies dancing was so pretty I did a video but could see I could believe I could seen them I put a circle around them On my puter they are bigger than the blog pic but you still can see them
tonight visit 3 mini videos
Sweet dreams
Michael was just trying to play it down. However, it is very significant. Oh the firms websight and on Michael's bio it mentions 2010. Now they will add 1011. If it is not big deal, why did they put it on there. This is an honor voted on by other lawyers. That is significant!
So, how was DWTS?
Osprey, Eagle in Berkeley County
Two in Jefferson County
Wow, what a great day, except for the news about the ridiculous shooting of an eagle in Cumberland Md...
Lynn, that eagle might not be too far from Sleepy Creek, but what impresses me more, is that it is not too far from YOUR LAIR
Good Evening Eagle Pals
Congratulations to Michael, and his wonderful parents, Lolly !!
the face I was seeing in the nest, is NOT the same face everyone else was seeing...
glad to see the one that Sharon and Lolly both posted
Southern Ocean, I had NO IDEA, Shirley...
please tell Hunter that he has impressed quite a number of Momsters !!
Thanks for the Ocean Link
Lolly, sorry about your cactus bloom. :(
My dogwoods don't have any berries....I only have one that EVER does, but some years it doesn't---guess this is one of them. Has anyone else ever heard about dogwoods being male or female? Wonder if that has anything to do with berries or not.
Yes, I am glad others saw our eagles!!
Bowling is a blast, but those "splits" can be so aggravating !!!
My father was in a league, and he had names for those splits, for the numbers of the pins that were left standing...but I can't remember them
Missed all the TV stuff tonight...oh well, there's always repeats.
Loved your post, Jo....about your great grandson's phone call about the Eagle Sighting....
Bravo !!!
What a Thrill for all involved, including Mema
and thanks Lynn for the Osprey sighting report at Poor House Farm Park....should be about migration time, wonder if it is passing through from...who knows where !
Dontcha just wonder what those dogs roll in that makes them smell so....awful !!
Soon Nick will have a nice "Man Smell" all over, no doubt, Paula !!
Hi, Margy! Are you talking about the face on the limb hiding under the leaves? That's the one that I've made out most often.
Lynn
I was looking at the grouping of leaves that has been there awhile
looked like eyes, nose shaped like a heart leaf, and then the mouth leaves were kind of akimbo, which is why I said, almost like it was sticking its tongue out in a friendly way....
I was seeing something altogether different from everyone else I think...
definitely had not observed what Lolly and Sharon posted on their picture blogs
I have seen the Handsome Bearded Man on the Limb...for quite some time, but never did see the Gingerbread Boy
Need to get into pj's and start closing down, have to go back to work Tuesday 0800 :(
Best wishes for Sweeeeeet Sleep, and
Prayers for Wellness
Good Night, Precious Eagle Pals
and
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
I need to read back about 20 BUT hope this isn't a repeat.... Bear report is up.............
Now, we’re waiting for Donna to be spotted somewhere. We are hopeful. Her cubs have not been spotted alone, so we are hoping she is just resting somewhere as her metabolism slows down. She has taken her collar off in past years and wasn’t spotted for as long as 11 months.
Shirley, glad to hear you've joined a league! Have fun, you will use muscles you never knew you had, LOL.
Margy, that was a 7-10 split...in bowling.
Judy Thanks again for capturing the
eagle couples visit this evening.
Sure was long overdue but then our
cam has been down so who knows - those
leaves need to dry up now and blow away!
I am going to call it a 'good' day.
I am feeling very well - thank you.
Good night everyone
Prayers for everyone's needs
Hugs for all my eagle friends
♥♥♥♥♥♥
Don't put perfume on Nick At least not a flowery smell.... ♥
Castle was good! Thanks again, Jo, for reminding me.
Feeling pretty sleepy and my eyes are tearing up. Time to hit the rack! (How's that, Lynne?)
lol
Night all! Sweet dreams!
Bears are safe...and pregnant Juliet is denning.
Jo, I put pics of the visit in the album.
So glad that you are feeling like yourself again!
Have a good day at work tomorrow, Margy. Hope it's a good one----Caro will be there with you!
Goodnight to you all. Bath time for me. Prayers and peace.
Thank You for the bear report JO and LYNN.
Goodnight, God Bless and Sweet Dreams.
Bravo to Michael and his parents.
Bravo to Shirley for taking advantage of her retirement by bowling and not becoming a couch potato.
Bravo for Hoda for keeping active and volunteering.
Bravo for Judy spotting our LIVE FEED!
Bravo to Judie for confessing that she is a Serial Killer and a Pervert....say what!?
KUDOS to Kay and Linda for taking the time to chat with us a while, even though Kay is not feeling well and Linda is so busy!
Soup Kitchen TOMORROW, Need lots of rest and sleep.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
How wonderful!
(Big Hug)
gLORI, are you still around ? I don't have a big birthday til' January and certainly hope to be hittin' it on all cylinders by then !
LORI, must be en route to the station and I'm all alone here. Beginning to feel tired again so see you all later ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
OH DARN KAY! I missed you! And, I missed your birthdate by 3 months. What was I thinking? Sorry.
Good morning. Yawn....
Three black noses in my face, geez...
Aaaahhhh, what a wonderful way to wake up, DANAMO!
G☺☺D M☼RNING ÉÄGLÉ BÜDs Ö ö ☺
This was on facebook so if your home might want to watch the nest don't know why the crane is going there
Hancock Wildlife Foundation
Let's Try it Again!
Karen has told me that David has scheduled a crane for the two Delta nests for this Wednesday Sept. 21
I am not going to ask her for a time at each nest... Just keep your eyes peeled and spread the word if you see them.
NOTE: this refers to The Delta 2 Nest and the Delta OWL nest
MARGY where is your face in the nest Is it where you can grab a pic of it on the green leaves?
Great news LOLLY You should be a proud mom for raising such a good son
MARGY where is your face in the nest Is it where you can grab a pic of it on the green leaves?
You remember the guy that killed his wife and shot the two pastor Well he killed another wife 25 years ago was claimed an accident gun went off while cleaning well now they say that was probably wrong If he would have convicted then and in jail the second wife wouldn't have been killed so sad they way things work out
HODA I too had issues last nite when I went to post about the visit I tried blolds and it kept telling can't except htnl etc and I know I had it typed that why I decided just to watch
Ok I guess I will sign off I got caught up Good to see you on the blog KAY hope each day gets better as they pass
Now the blog let me sent that as bold but not last nite I wonder if there were issues since HODA had issues also
The nest looks lighter now that it did yesterday on the cam and that is odd being each day is a one min differnce in the sunrise
Good Eagle Morning JUDY!
I think I hear rain drops at the nest
I was just about ready to leave I have 6 min so I will say so long LORI and have a good day I hope they show up for you all and I will be at work if they do That is why I have decided to keep my new schedule just for the eagles call me silly HUH
HAGD
Raining in Hagerstown, probably raining at the nest.
I've got a cam!!! Did we know it was back or do I get to be the first. I didn't see anyone post that it was back up, but I probably don't read back enough. When did it come on?
Sorry, DANA MO, you can be first next time. It was posted yesterday that it was back. You can always pretend. I won't tell anyone. :)
still cam came back on Sunday sometime, DanaMo,
and live feed, just before noontime Monday
Good Morning Eagle Pals
It is definitely raining at the nest, is raining here in Martinsburg
JudyE discovered it at 10:30 Monday morning
ISS makes its morning rounds this week, including one at 6:32 this morning whch was totally not, viewable here !!!
Looks pretty windy at the nest now.
and the two eagles visited the nest last night, DanaMo
Lynn has two great pictures in the E-M album
Good Morning Margster!
It'll be glorious when the color comes on this morning!
Morning Glori
forgive me for not having your radio station up...
it's either that or listen to the nest sounds...I'm prtty sure you will forgive me
OH I just say your post Margy! Yeah we had a visit. I miss them sooo much!
Have we gotten anywhere with the naming process?
there was a visit last night Dana
It's on hold until we see what develops later on in the season, Dana
the naming process
not the thinking about it part, just the deciding about it part of the naming
I heard a noise
sounded like a clunk
blogging is slow for me with live feed up, as usual....
Good Morning Sissy!
And everyone else before and after now...
time for getting ready for work for me
Hope any ailments are improving today quickly
and that
Everyone has a Good Day !
ttfn xoxox ♥
JudyE
in answer to your question, what face I was seeing was IN the Nest with the leaves, but I think they are all re-arranged now.
Lolly and Sharon had the "other face"
posted on their picture blogs, as you already know I think
Good Morning Sissy BEV!
Great to hear from you this morning!
Morning Lori, Magpie, and everyone!! It is good to be seen!!
MARGY, how about today being "teal" Tuesday...for no other reason than it's easier to pick something to wear. :)
Keep your heart a'hopeful, Sissy....
The color at the nest is a nice start
Hmmm, Teal...that's a thought, I have some teal colored pants, Lori....
but it just might be half-past fishing time at NCTC
Ya' never know!
Good morning to all who are up and those who will be up and about later.
Off to the big school house. Have a meeting a 4pm. Will be back tonight.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day.
Good morning.
I see the wet leaves and hear the rain at the nest.
Promises to be a busy day. Need to get food and meds for George after I do the bowling thing.
Good Morning JUDIE & SHIRLEY!
JUDIE, that's a loooooong day!
SHIRLEY, roll a strike for each of your pets!
Good morning eagle peeps.
Good Morning more Eagle Pals
Judie
Shirley
T-Bird
just want to mention...that I "saw" on the original blog posts
Glo, Sharon, Mema Jo, Paula, Nilla, Sunny, a "Sandy" which I don't think is our Shepherdstown Sandy but not sure, and other names that were not familiar
I like this post from Steve on
4-4-06:
Thanks to Eagle friend camwatcher Jo and her grandson for their pictures
so much more I would like to add, but I better NOT be late for work
ttfn, might see you later from work
xoxo ♥
oh, and Just Vicky was on there too !!
Y'all watch for the SPLIT or maybe a new thread sometime
Lori:
Teal works good, jersey pants
NO shrinkage ☺
Make a great day Magpie.
I will catch you all later. Hopefully we will spot an eagle or two today. : )
Hello THELMA! How are you and Buddy this morning?
Good Lori, how about you?
Saw a blue jay a minute ago in the nest, still hear them. They look so small in that nest!! Sure would like to see an eagle this morning.
All is well here, T-BIRD. Plan on doing a bunch of errands today - always nice to check them off the list.
Guess we split with no warning!
